**What do you like best about NEXT?**

The automated transcription of both audio and video calls is such a timesaver. Not only that, but the AI will then auto-generate highlights and edit them into shareable, individual clips. You can even stitch these together across your entire library of highlights to build engaging stories to share with your organisation. It's easy to use, the team are incredible and they are constantly improving and updating the product. I cannot reccomend it enough, go and try it yourself

**What do you dislike about NEXT?**

UI and UX functionality still needs be smoother. It can be quite confusing to navigate and understand how all the pieces fit together.

**What problems is NEXT solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Freeing up the entire time spent with our customers to focus on them. NEXT handles all the heavy lifting of transcriptions, key point summaries, categorizing and highlighting trends.

**What do you like best about NEXT?**

Many of the people can participate in finding the valuable red thread. Through the explorative work, from  user needs through interactions to user feedback through interactions. It all commes together in a structured way.

**What do you dislike about NEXT?**

The different ways to gather research data is today many, and NEXT focus on user interactions where captured voice is the main channel. Gropups often have many different ways to do this research, and sometimes get lost, in mixing voice data, and other possible input. The UX around different ways to capture, and explore your data could be improved.

**What problems is NEXT solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To scale the research in our design drive approach of innovation. The problem we have is to be more efficient ant faster than others when it comes to high quality in doing collaborative explation of innovation opportunities. The key with NEXT is the speed it gives us, and  that we always is true to to users, which is the best for our organization.

**What do you like best about NEXT?**

Laser-focused on supporting analaysis and synthesis with the help of AI technologies. This radical focus makes NEXT an incredible special-purpose tool for design research at large. I specificially like how NEXT support communicating findings and insights. I've also witnessed their relentless effort to improve the product by bravely pivoting to AI-enabled features. Customer support is very attentive and I totally enjoyed talking with them, who really paid attention to my feedback and asked good questions for me to articulate. The user interface is very easy to use and NEXT is my go-to tool whenever I have a project where research analysis and synthesis is required.

**What do you dislike about NEXT?**

NEXT is a fast-evolving product (which is great!) and accordingly, there are bits and pieces of features that might be confusing at the beginning (for example: the organizing concept of "teamspace"). The key is to provide feedback to them so that they can improve timely and positively!

**What problems is NEXT solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NEXT makes it very easy to process research data (texts, audio, video) and saves a huge amount of time with its AI-enabled features. AI's analysis usually provides a solid foundation I can tweak and refine. That's insanely helpful when you have a huge amount of research data to analyze and syntehsize.

**What do you like best about NEXT?**

NEXT’s AI features let me quickly analyze hundreds of customer calls from different sources, such as UX interviews, sales, etc. Many of these insights used to get lost and would never feed into our product backlog. With NEXT, we can all of a sudden make these insights accessible to everyone in our team so we can all make better decisions.

**What do you dislike about NEXT?**

NEXT has some great integrations for important data and sharing Stories. If anything, it would be great if they’d add support for auto-importing Microsoft Teams calls and sharing chats to Microsoft Azure DevOps.

**What problems is NEXT solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With NEXT, we’re able to make customer insights from various parts of the organization accessible and actionable. We spend much less time going back and forth on requirements and are more confident in our feature prioritization decisions.

**What do you like best about NEXT?**

With the latest release of NEXT you can document your observations, shadowing meetings, interviews etc. with your leads and opportunities and it helps you to select the relevant content to build a sound and fact-based validation of your hypothesis of the business problem and on top of that, you can build a video story based on snippets from multiple interactions to let the prospect explain your team their problem.

**What do you dislike about NEXT?**

When I started using the next 2 years ago, it was more of an innovation and agile work consultant tool with tons of templates to structure your innovation discovery and validation process. If you were familiar with different methodologies it was a bit tiring. But the big plus is the fact of establishing transparency on the business hypotheses and their validations or at leas insight generation. It is a great tool to streamline and share insights on business buildup

**What problems is NEXT solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Insights and data generation with respect to the product-market fit. You can generate from user/prospect/lead interactions insights and data to validate or falsify your assumptions that describe the value proposition of the product or the problem you want to solve. With its capabilities to transcribe and relate to the business hypotheses it helps a great deal to generate a solid data set and to share this data with product and marketing.

**What do you like best about NEXT?**

The video transcription and coding have reduced the time for us to distill user interviews and the video highlights have enabled us to share user stories with different parts of the organization.  It has been great to search for specific themes in interviews and has allowed us to mine old interviews and find insights without having to redo research.

**What do you dislike about NEXT?**

It can be difficult to organize videos and it can be difficult to search through multiple team spaces for a specific topic.

**What problems is NEXT solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before next, we stored all of our user interviews in a directory and had separate transcriptions.  Next has made it easy to organize all of the videos in one location and the transciption is connected so coding and analyzing the interviews is much easier.

**What do you like best about NEXT?**

It helps me to have a holistic view of the user's feedback from all the interaction sources. It kind of democratizes access to feedback and product discovery to anybody in the company.

**What do you dislike about NEXT?**

They have integrations with Slack and Zoom but for the other important systems we use like Hubspot and Zendesk, they use Zapier which is a limitation. I know they're working on these integrations and it's in their roadmap.

**What problems is NEXT solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have interactions with customers on a daily basis through our support and sales process; there are no insights generated from these conversations to improve our product management.Next helps to structure, interpret and aggregate these conversations into actionable feedback we can leverage to improve all the product tracks.

**What do you like best about NEXT?**

We are a startup inside a large enterprise and chose NEXT as a tool to help us gain insights from many dozens of explorative user interviews carried out by different team members. 

We where looking for a tool that is collaborative, flexible to adapt to our needs and makes our work more easy. Therefore, we decided to use NEXT instead of more traditional software for qualitative Analysis.

And indeed, NEXT makes it surprisingly easy to gain and share insights from interviews. It really changes the way you can work and collaborate without following the lengthly process of manual transcription and encoding that traditional methods require.

With NEXT, you upload an interview, it is automatically transcribed and you just need to select those quotes / snippets you find interesting, you can also add a description and tags for them. Then, you can combine multiple highlights into "Stories" you would like to use as evidence or share with your team members. And you can use the helpful AI function to extract insights. Personally, I have the impression that it makes it so easy to analyze interviews, that you can spend more time and focus on reflecting about what to do with your new findings.

To keep an overview over different types of interviews and findings, you can use labels, tags and the search function. This is a very simple and easy to use UI. But using tags and labels, it was easy to adjust the overviews to our needs.

The NEXT team always responded quickly when we faced issues and implemented many of our wishes for new features.

**What do you dislike about NEXT?**

After having more than 100 interviews in our project in NEXT and adding dozens more, it started to become too much content to keep a well structured overview of all interviews and findings. Therefore, we heavily used tags and labels to structure the data.

Indeed, labels and tags greatly help to bring structure into the interviews and highlights, but you need to make sure that all team members use the same tags and labels to avoid confusion. In our team, different team-members sometimes used different tags to describe the same thing. Therefore, you need to agree in your team how you wish to tag and label your data and follow these guidelines consequently. For the future, I hope that NEXT introduces new features and functionalities to group similar interviews and findings more easily together.

**What problems is NEXT solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NEXT helps to very quickly and easily derive insights from qualitative interviews.
Our benefit is that we gain insights with far fewer effort and more flexibility. And it enables us to keep a better overview, which gives us a big picture based on the data.

- finding out what's really requested by customers the easy way
- the AI features of course
- very intuitive use and almost "modelling capabilities"
- quick customer support who really cares

**What do you dislike about NEXT?**

- still missing the great REST API features of the "old NEXT" for integration with other systems (Jupyter, Sparx, etc.) but hope this will follow

**What problems is NEXT solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NEXT is supporting almost as an additional Business Analyst / Requirements Engineer for IT projects (interviews and especially structuring of requirements in natural language), additionally to Sparx EA and the Atlassian Toolstack. The primary benefit is saving a lot of time and reducing the number of meetings to a few efficient ones.

The 'Stories' feature helps synthesize long conversations while maintinaing the emotion and impact of the user feedback.

Video files need to be uploaded. Not a big deal, but linked to video providers would be nice.

**What problems is NEXT solving and how is that benefiting you?**

NEXT helps ensure we are not missing the important elements and hidden gems in our customer feedback. This allows us to have the confidence we are collecting and prirotizing all feedback conversations and not only focusing on what we want to hear.

Trying to go through hours of user interview recordings can be very time-consuming. NEXT makes it so easy for us to analyze everything in minutes, categorize and create high stories we share with our team.

**What do you dislike about NEXT?**

Nothing right now. We do prefer the manual tagging to the AI automation but they are always helpful in case we miss something!

**What problems is NEXT solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We run regular user interviews and the amount of recordings we have became unbearable. NEXT helped us analyze them faster!
