"Not what we were hoping for"

Switch from ADP payroll to Total Source. Worst decision of my career!

We dealt with some great people in implementation, but their were problems every step of the way. Other than the implementation specialist nobody seemed to know what they were doing and each problem became an issue. Now a year later, our HR specialist we have is great and seems to help resolve even payroll issues. But there are some issue that have yet to be resolved and we have been using the system for over a year!

What do you like best?

Not difficult to use, and reliable as far as speed goes. But if and when there are issues or questions, they are not easily fixed.

What do you dislike?

Pretty much everything. We have had problems from day 1 and some have still not been satisfactorily resolved. Every time there is a question or issue, it takes longer than expected to resolve.

Recommendations to others considering the provider:

Do your homework. Insist on getting references. We asked for references and they would not give us any - should have been a red flag. Make sure you understand how the pricing works - they charge according to $$ not according to number of employees. And read the small print!!

"Adp total source review"

It has helped with a dedicated team to help us through our implementation of a complicated open enrollment with complex benefit plans and merge from 4 payroll company codes into one.

What do you like best?

I really enjoy the dedicated team members to help with all different hr functions so they understand the company’s inner working and tribulations that we experience. I also like that we will receive quicker response times as we always need items to be completed in a timely manner.

What do you dislike?

I dislike sometimes that things are missed from the team and that response times can be lengthy. We also experienced a lot of issues during implementation and had to use our current staff to ensure that we were up to date with all pending items.

"Very complete solution for HR capabilities"

ADP TotalSource helps us manage several human capital processes and capabilities, with a very good interface and easy to use functionalities.

What do you like best?

The interface, the easy to use functionalities and centralized information which helps us keep tracking of everything.

What do you dislike?

It is not a problem, but there are tons of functionalities which I still have to discover regarding the tool.

"All my HR information in a single place"

Provides a clean dashboard to provide all necessary information for easy insight of my HR information

What do you like best?

The dashboards. They show my pay, time-off, tasks that I need to complete for HR, time registered during a pay period and etc.

What do you dislike?

The mobile app isn't the best. When i log in on my android device, not all the information loads like it does on the web platform

Recommendations to others considering the provider:

As a user, not owner of the system, it is very clear and easy for me to see all my information from HR on this platform

"excellent for payroll"

Used for payroll purposes. It's very user friendly and easy to assist with the mundane and tedious payroll tasks. Helps paying employees with ease and accuracy.

What do you like best?

I like how it's a widely known company and used by numerous businesses across the US in all 50 states, which is helpful for a company that operates in multiple states. Very easy to use and and it's fast and efficient.

What do you dislike?

There's nothing I dislike about this. It's being utilized.

Recommendations to others considering the provider:

Would definitely recommend if you're searching for a payroll company that is nationwide and easy to use!

"The worst ATS for recruiting."

We are trying to get rid of ADP. It is the worst ATS that we have ever used. ADP should not be used for Recruiting.

What do you like best?

There is nothing about this ATS that we like. We use Workforce now for payroll. ADP should not be used for Recruiting.

What do you dislike?

We dislike every single thing with this ATS. ADP should not be used for Recruiting.

"Good Payroll system"

Easy to keep up with benefits and payroll

What do you like best?

Easy to use and track paychecks and previous year income

What do you dislike?

If you ever have to call them, it is very hard to get a hold of a live person.

ADP is the main program used for employee payroll and time cords.

What do you like best?

What I like best is the fact that you can have all of the links within one interface.

What do you dislike?

What I dislike is that the online version differs a lot from the mobile version.

"ADP for all HR needs"

I’ve used ADP with multiple employers. It allowed me to easily access my benefits information, payment details and time off information.

What do you like best?

All my payroll information was always readily available.

What do you dislike?

I liked everything about it. Not complaints.
