What do you like best about ADP TotalSource?

Using ADP has significantly streamlined the way I manage HR tasks in my business. One of the biggest advantages has been the healthcare options offered through ADP. The plans are not only affordable but also flexible, giving my employees quality coverage while helping me save on overall healthcare costs. This has been a major benefit, especially as a small business trying to offer competitive benefits without breaking the bank.

ADP’s HR support is another standout feature. Whenever I have questions about compliance, onboarding, or employee relations, I can rely on their expert support team for quick, accurate guidance. It’s like having an HR department without needing to hire one in-house.

Most importantly, ADP saves me a significant amount of time. From payroll to employee onboarding and everything in between, the platform simplifies all the time-consuming tasks I used to dread. I can focus more on running and growing my business, knowing that the HR side is covered.

"Great Payroll Processing but Poor Support"
What do you like best about ADP TotalSource?

I like that ADP TotalSource easily helps us process payroll seamlessly and gives us an eagle's eye view on our payroll processes. We are able to appropriately schedule our payroll processing in line with the payroll schedule in the system, creating in-house documentation to avoid late processing. Customer support is horrible; when working on a certain issue, they can change representatives before the problem is fixed. They should ensure that there is less turnover in their organization or ensure each rep creates notes to avoid redo. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Peace of Mind for CA HR Decisions, but Prefer a US-Based Payroll Partner"
What do you like best about ADP TotalSource?

I like that I can verify whether I’m making the right decision. Running a business in California is difficult, so being able to run decisions by my HRBP gives us a real sense of peace and relief throughout the decision-making process. What do you dislike about ADP TotalSource?

I was just assigned an outsourced payroll partner. I previously worked with a payroll partner based in the US, but now my payroll contact is in India, and that change doesn’t make me happy. As I mentioned, running a business in CA is difficult, and having a payroll person in the US is important to me. I did let my HRBP know and she is going to address the issue for me. Also the wait times to get ahold of an appropriate person in payroll is annoying. The one place you want to talk to someone who can help you with your problem immediately is when you are dealing with payroll and that rarely happens. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ADP TotalSource?

What do you dislike about ADP TotalSource?

The health insurance we were offered wasn’t very fair for employees with families. In my case, I found out I was pregnant three weeks after I started my job. I was on a 90-day payroll period, and because I went to the doctor before I became eligible, my short-term disability was denied as a “pre-existing condition.” I didn’t find out it had been denied until three weeks postpartum. First, pregnancy isn’t a disease, and second, there wasn’t clear communication from their end about how this would be handled. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about ADP TotalSource?

I appreciate the consistency of ADP Total Source, the support team is courteous and clear every time I have called requesting support for Human Resources, Payroll or reporting. The platform changed almost a year ago and I was concerned about the implementation and impact on our team but it has been a simple transistion and it has been easy to integrate. I am able to reach out to a live agent or use the online support and I love being able to track the status of my case. I use ADP TotalSource weekly and I have found it straightforward and easy to use for our new employees when onboarding them. I strongly recommend that users take advantage of all the resources, scheduling regular check ins with the support specialists. There are so many features to make it useful and efficient. "Seamless Payroll with Room for Support Improvement"
What do you like best about ADP TotalSource?

I appreciate how efficient payroll is with ADP TotalSource. I always have a backup if I run into a problem processing, which gives me peace of mind. I also like the ease of use of the software.
