Microsoft Teams is a great tool for remote team collaboration. It combines communication tools for chat, meetings, and file sharing and enables remote teams to collaborate seamlessly. The integration with Outlook and other Apps in Microsoft 365 goes a long way. Not having to swap tools to chat, call, or co-edit documents saves so much time. For day-to-day online working, it’s a dependable and helpful platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
MS Teams can be a bit slow, messy and tedious with multiple chats and channels. Searching for old conversations or files is frustrating. The UI is not user friendly but powerful. The notifications are overwhelming and there is too much overlap between the features. In case of 2FA security for client environments one can face a lot of issues especially. Performance tends to drop in lengthy meetings. And with screen sharing the app is slow and the system is sluggish.
Overall, Teams is a good product, but the UI changes often and the deep menu structures can make simple things take longer than Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
