"Efficient Database Solution"
What do you like best about Database as a Service (DBaaS)?

Azure Database for MySQL is an efficient solution because it’s fully managed, meaning you don’t have to worry about tasks like patching, backups, and security. It also has a 99.99% SLA and is compatible with existing MySQL applications. The service is easy to set up, operate, and scale your database while ensuring high availability and security. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Database as a Service (DBaaS)?

Azure Database for MySQL has some drawbacks compared to other database services. It can be more expensive than other database services, particularly for high-traffic applications. Also, it lacks certain features, such as the ability to create custom indexes, and not all storage engines are supported. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Its a cloud computing service or managed database review"
What do you like best about Database as a Service (DBaaS)?

Database as a service (DBaaS) is a cloud database offering that provides customers with access to a database without having to deploy and manage the underlying infrastructure. DBaaS is delivered as a managed database service, which means that the provider takes care of patching, upgrading, and backing up the database. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Database as a Service (DBaaS)?

I dislike the way this was presented to us as a totally hands free solution, the product its self is fine, pre/post sales support has been rough.

1 Limited Flexibility- While it is highly scalable it may not offer same level of flexibility as some other database platforms .This may limit the ability to customize the platform 2 Support- The platform support may be limited for users who are not using Oracle Cloud infrastructure. 3 Cost- My Sql Database may have higher cost compared to some other open source database platforms. This may be concern for small budget conscious teams Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"DBaaS is best for current database solutions scenario"
What do you like best about Database as a Service (DBaaS)?

DBaaS is best when you are trying to onboard on database services its combination of cloud services and better that regular RDBMS the best thing is its cost efficient with high scalability and advance security metrices for data and applications Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Database as a Service (DBaaS)?

Limited control on database like we have full control on RDBMS but in this case we depend on solution provider of DBaaS.

Security is compromised at one level because we outsource our data via third party and in worst case scenario if third party got cheated and data is leaked it will impact us also Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"DBaaS review"
What do you like best about Database as a Service (DBaaS)?

If we use DBaaS then there's very minimum downtime or may be no downtime and also we are free from handling any complex data management tasks. And the security is also more if we use DBaaS. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Database as a Service (DBaaS)?

A bigger disadvantage of DBaaS is that our data is with another organization which may use it for there own purpose. If one is using DBaaS then one must trust the other organization whose service is being used. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
