Undoubtedly, ADP is a powerful and valuable tool for all employees at a company. Why ADP is essential software for all enterprises? The answer is plain to see because you start to use it on the first day at your company. The most important features are:
- the simple registration process when you accepted the job offer
- W4, W2 - all tax forms are available online
- "Clock-in" and "Clock-out" buttons for all employees who are working remotely (the feature for your supervisor)
- the information about your benefits in one place
- Payment options online with any additional activities from HR or Accounting Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Indeed, ADP is the best tool in the HR area. However, the Mobile Application is with fewer features than the desktop software. I would like to have in Mobile Application (IOS and Android) the same features. The most important point in the Mobile App is information about your paycheck (taxes, benefits, retirement, other and take home). If ADP developed their App, it will be amazing for all clients. I think the best thing is the ADP is all inclusive. It is really helpful that everything from onboarding, payroll, taxes, benefits, time and attendance, and even terminations are on the same platform, or have the ability to be. I have worked for companies that do have a platform like this and it's not as streamlined. ADP helps decrease the chaos in a potentially chaotic (ever-changing) field- Human Resources. The one downside of ADP, would be the enhancements that they do. The last couple that have been rolled out have not provided the service that they expected- leading to functions within ADP not working correctly or not working at all. It makes it a little hard to do payroll on a Monday when they do an enhancement over the weekend. But when everything is working, it's completely fine and great actually! This program makes all things attendance and payroll extremely easy. Time management simplified, this program has an easy to use interface. It does everything for you with just the click of a button. Looking at paystub and tax information, automatically keeping up with insurance and other . It also allows you set different allocations so that if there is an employee working different departments or with different responsibilities; they can easily switch over without any hassle and pay rates will change automatically. Sometimes it take a long time for the amount of for things to transfer from job to job Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
ADP does the basics of what you would expect from a payroll system. We are able to manage different employee types across departments within each business unit. Payments are made on time and customer service has been available when needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
ADP recently changed their user interface. It used to be very simple and easy for everyone to understand with minimal training. Since the changes, employees have been struggling just to report their PTO. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love the digital time cards and the way our managers can see their crews time each day. We went to having 400 pieces of paper time cards each pay period to virtually NONE. I also like the HR management component that is proving to outweigh all the costs for us. We just began onboarding our new people online with limited paper now and having them fill out the required forms online, which is proving to be super helpful. Less errors are occuring all around - on their end and on mine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It does so much that I almost can't keep track of all the thing it does. I don't like that once implementation is done, we have no contact to help us move forward. There isn't like anyone that stays with you and checks in on you to see if you need assistance. Having a team assigned to your account afterward would be so helpful knowing I had a contact that could direct me in the right place without having to call customer support. The HR Analytical data is hands down the best item in Workforce Now. They have specific data for turnover and high-risk employees which is invaluable. The analytics tab has a really smooth look and very user friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike that new employees cannot access the system to enroll in onboarding until their actual start date. They can’t get access to that ahead of time and it causes slow down with onboarding and electing benefits. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
ADP WFN is a one-stop shop for all of our needs. We are able to maximize the self service use for our employees, which allows us to have a great communication avenue with our employees. ADP is always looking at ways to improve the user experience, and does a great job at communicating up to date information to us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I am having a hard time responding to this question, because I really do not have any negative things to say about ADP. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
All of the applications are user friendly but what I like best is the reporting segment. It was definitely several steps up from our previous software. The report grabber makes it easy to create custom reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When using the hire and termination features it would be helpful if there were better descriptions or explanations on the impact of each choice. Although this could be due to lack of training. Sometimes the training videos only tell you what the choice means but not how it will impact the the end result. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In Workforce the reporting system fully automates the formation of sales force reports as far as graphics editions are concerned. ADP Workforce now includes an activity manager that allows the inclusion of shortcuts to speed up work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The platform has a small check creation and management list, but these cannot be adapted to the formats of other workforce management platforms. Outside of this point, ADP Workforce adapted very quickly to all expectations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The functionality of the product and the customer service are top notch! The connection from onboarding through payroll to discharging employees is seamless. I use the analytics dashboard each week to narrow our focus on areas we need to work on and share that knowledge with our Executive team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I haven't found anything yet that I dislike. I am sure I could be doing things a little more efficient through the system, but that requires dedicated time to navigate the different options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
ADP Makes it super easy to clock in and clock out, as well as checking your schedule and viewing your pay card. If you opt in for company benefits you can also choose your benefits through your ADP portal. Overall very easy to use and a great resource to have. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some of the password restrictions can be a bit tricky, and you are required to change your password every six months, but I think this is standard for payroll type services. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The most helpful aspect of ADP Workforce Now is the ability to connect with other users around the world. It's not that ADP representatives aren't helpful, because they absolutely are. However, connecting with a user that is actually using the product provides a more useful interaction. I often find myself going to The Bridge to see who else is dealing with a similar situation and how they used ADP to solve it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't have many dislikes about ADP Workforce Now. If I could have everything I wanted, I suppose I'd wish that you could establish more details about an employee in the hiring template. This would prevent me from having to go into their profiles after I hire them to set them up further. I can say that ADP is quick to act on feedback and makes updates often! These aren't the updates that change everything to where you have to learn all over again, they are updates to make your life easier! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is so simple to use and easy. I can do payroll faster than I have ever done it before with this system. I used to payroll in an excel spreadsheet and that was a pain. This already has everything I need and all I have to do is adjust the times as needed (if needed) and approve the timecards. Simple as pie! Love it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't have any dislikes, although sometimes my employees say they have issues with the mobile app loading. I am always able to help them resolve it though, Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
very user friendly and easy to see payroll info, how much is being taxed, what is being deducted for benefits. Also easy to request time off, find documents and company info. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Messaging is the worst through ADP. You can't just click in to a message and it's especially messy when requesting time off. Being in a salaried and commission role, it would also be amazing to see the rate at which each is taxed, not just the amount being taken out for each category (social Security, local tax, etc). We have been with ADP for about 5 years now and we are still learning new things. ADP helps us with payroll, benefits administration, onboarding, and payment management. I absolutely love The Bridge, which is an online forum for ADP users and ADP moderators. It is used to share ideas and problem solve as a network. ADP hosts a number of in-person (pre-COVID) and virtual conferences where you are able to take classes, network with other users and chat with real ADP CSR. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
With the good comes the bad, which isn't a great number of items. I don't like how some of the CSR are not native-speaking English individuals. It can make phone calls very long. I'm also not a fan of having to buy some add-ons. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love that you can access the system anytime from anywhere. It's very user friendly. The guides are great as a backup support, along with the screenshots to help you feel at ease that you are following instructions precisely & in the proper menu. The customer service is also fantastic! They are quick to assist and ensure your payroll is processed properly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Improvements have been made to implement last minute coding so I'm happy to say I can't think of anything I 'dislike' at this time! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
ADP works on many different platforms. The mobile app is just as user friendly as the webpage and everything is well formatted to find what you need. There is also access to files from different companies if they both used ADP. I'm able to find my tax files and pay stubs for multiple companies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
ADP doesn't have much functionality on the user side. I've had some recent issue with HR unable to make an approval to a change in my election benefits. If it is an option for HR to access, it seems like it's not as straightforward in this scenario. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is a big company and you know what you are getting. They are a giant in the business and there is reliability there. Accessing their system is easy and generally it is easy to navigate their system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is very one size fits all. The reporting is terrible. It is difficult at best to create custom reports and you often need to pay for ADP to build you a custom report. There is a lack of interface between the various ADP depts. If you need 401k it is one place, payroll is one place and time attendance is another. You can easily spend a ton of time of the phone getting bounced from one to another. In addition if you are not savvy to their systems you can easily miss something but not circling back to another dept. For example if you add a time off code with time and attendance and do not circle back to you payroll manager the time code will not payout properly on a paycheck. This happened to me and I caught it just before payroll went in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
