**What do you like best about Eightfold AI?**

The Eightfold AI is very intuitive and brings in several dimensions to present employees with quality recommendations.  The combination of jobs, learning, mentors and projects helps employees and the enterprise connect all the dots.  It is truly a dynamic tool delivering a quality employee experience.

**What do you dislike about Eightfold AI?**

In our implementation, there were some challenges on the technical side that had to be overcome and some concerns with data quality.  We would have also appreciated an opportunity to configure some of the TA-Lite elements and Insights Dashboards to our specific needs.  While we are not using the TA module in a traditional sense, it does create a bit of a cumbersome user experience.

**What problems is Eightfold AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest challenge Eightfold is solving for us is how to better connect our employees with internal opportunities and grow and develop their careers within GDIT.  Ultimately, we want to see increased mobility, better retention, and an employee experience that exceeds industry standard.

**What do you like best about Eightfold AI?**

It has made the referral process smooth and seamless for candidates and employees. The information is directly parsed from the resume, so we don't have to fill manually in the data, making it much quicker and more efficient. The UI is smooth and user-friendly.

**What do you dislike about Eightfold AI?**

Some improvements can be reducing the time to parse information from resumes for referral and stages of the referral process, but overall it's a great tool to use.

**What problems is Eightfold AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The overall time to give referrals and not manually fill in the data makes the referral process efficient and productive. This way, we can search the relevant jobs quicker and complete the referral process smoothly.

**What do you like best about Eightfold AI?**

You never have to go outside of Eightfold to look for candidates who aren't already applicants. It pulls in profiles from linkedin and other sources, including past candidates, and ranks their 'fit' based on the calibration criteria you provide for the role.

**What do you dislike about Eightfold AI?**

There isn't much customization on the appearance of the site, although that may be due to controls from our broader organization and nothing to do with Eightfold. I'm not 100% sure.

**What problems is Eightfold AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our underlying ATS does not allow us to compare candidates or rank them based on criteria against the open position.

**What do you like best about Eightfold AI?**

I enjoy the ability to collaborate with my recruiters.  As a Talent Sourcer I seek out Talent on LinkedIn.  I love the extension that easily allows me to switch back and forth to and from LinkedIn to Eightfold.  Once I have a solid candidate that I'd like to share with my recruiter, it's easy for me to upload their profile from LinkedIn, add their resume, check for accuracy, then "Share" the profile with my recruiter.  It's easy for them to write feedback and give me guidance if the particular candidate is not a right fit.

**What do you dislike about Eightfold AI?**

This may be minor, but when I'm using LinkedIn Recruiter, and I find a candidate I like, I attempt to use the Eightfold extension to add them to Eightfold.  Unfortunately, the extension does not work through LinkedIn Recruiter.  I have to open my candidates profile through LinkedIn (not LI - Recruiter) for Eightfold to work.  This may be user error, but would be happy to show you if this is something you've never heard of. (brian.monje@teladochealth.com)

I believe eightfold helps make your work day more efficient, allowing you to get more done and eliminate redundancy.  I also like how it can identify Diversity candidates and assist with acheiving Diversity metrics and KPIs.

**What do you like best about Eightfold AI?**

Eightfold has a solid interface and I have seen it evolve into a simple-to-use workflow. The Google Chrome plugin makes importing candidates easy and sorting Positions/Candidates is generally easy. Once you've played around with the system a bit, the tools become familiar (e.g. "star button") and navigating to where you need to go becomes easy. The in-ATS message/email system is a great log of communications/notes and the "Quick Feedback" function is an excellent feature.

**What do you dislike about Eightfold AI?**

The system is slow. Navigating from one page to the next is an absolute chore and if you are jumping back and forth between reqs, you will be spending a majority of your time waiting for screens to load. Candidate import/parsing is not ideal for use with a separate hiring system (we have it integrated with Workday). It should be easier to add candidates to a req and provide feedback without having them first apply or taking several minutes to add them to the req and wait for their profile to populate. When you are screening many candidates per day and are just looking to add your notes, this becomes incredibly tedious. Suggested candidates are almost never a good fit. I understand that this is partially based on how many candidates are in the talent pool but a company with >30,000 employees should have a large talent pool to begin with. I rarely use Eightfold as a sourcing tool.

**What problems is Eightfold AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We now have a much easier way to track candidates, their source, their owners, and any notes added by talent acquisition or the hiring team. This extends for each candidate across all reqs and is very useful. Viewing the status of reqs and where candidates are in the process is also simple and much more streamlined than our pre-Eightfold procedures.

**What do you like best about Eightfold AI?**

The CRM capabilities, additional sourcing tools-it has allowed me to expand on my ability to provide additional candidates to my hiring managers

**What do you dislike about Eightfold AI?**

I do not like that I can't review all candidate profiles on one screen, I can only review 25 on one page, when reviewing resumes, I can lose my place a lot. It seems to bring me back to candidates that I have already reviewed and there is not a way to know if I have already looked at them before. It would be nice to be able to view all candidates on one page and not have to page by 25+. Also, the system seems very click heavy.
Also the formatting on resumes it's clunky, seems to involve a lot of scroll bars within pages on one screen which is frustrating. Doesn't seem to be a very clean and seamless experience.

**What do you like best about Eightfold AI?**

I like using EightFold because it helps to optimize my time & streamline my efforts for identifying quality candidates to open roles in an accurate & efficient manner. Incorporating EightFold into my sourcing strategy has directly improved my pass-through rates and also helped in providing a peerless candidate experience by highlighting open opportunities within my company that candidates are aligned to based on their profiles. Nothing like it.

**What do you dislike about Eightfold AI?**

I can't say that I dislike much. At the least, going through and linking calibrated profiles to the system based on what I need the system to find is sometimes tedious but also a necessary evil and a task that I will likely do anyway so no real complaints here.

**What problems is Eightfold AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Eightfold is solving the issue of noncalibration to roles, isolating candidates from other qualified roles in the company or org that I may not have top of mind for myself and strengthening the candidate experience by providing TA members with more pertinent resources in real time to candidates

**What do you like best about Eightfold AI?**

AI role match helps when there is no fit for the candidate who is looking to apply to PayPal or they cannot figure out the role they want to apply for. It only helps to some extent & has its own issues in reality.

Helps in structured hiring to an extent; but its cumbersome using Eightfold ai

**What do you dislike about Eightfold AI?**

There are lots during the referral and also during hiring : 

During Referal :- 

1) Its super slow : it hangs when we upload the resume and it also takes lot of time after clicking a referral  ; takes around 2 - 3 min. for a single referral while Rolepoint takes 2 sec which we had tie up with earlier
2) Asks the same mandatory questions again for the same candidate : How do you know this person ? Did the person work at PayPal ? etc.. questions when we apply to different roles for same person
3) We had rolepoint earlier and could apply to multiple roles at the same time, but Eightfold we have to go through the whole process of searching the role id again, filling in the questions again etc.. for each referral; Also we could refer multiple candidates in different tabs at the same time which eightfold doesn't allow

During Hiring :- 

1) Role match miss : AI Match helps to an extent but there are lot of times where the role recommendation is not an exact match for the level we are hiring for. There are sometimes it doesn't show few roles which are great match until when we select a specific office location
2) Recrutier Bias on AI Match : keep sending resumes based on the AI match without looking into the exact skill match for requirement, but we miss few good profiles due to this issue
3) Tool is not very user friendly, need to get acquainted with the new process on both doing a referral and hiring

Post referral :- 

1) Candidate list in Eightfold keeps diminishing, the referred candidate names keep vanishing, no clue on its usecase and also why do we need this list as candidate names keep dissappearing
2) Emails end up in Spam/Promotions folder of candidates : There are lot of times where candidate gets back saying they haven't received the referral but when we ask them to check, the email is hanging in their spam/promotions folder
3) No Transparency on selected & hired candidates ; would be great if you could add another page with selected/hired candidates only after offer signing

**What problems is Eightfold AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not many : Just that there is an additional role match AI that kind of helps, but its a double edged sword; Its gives false recommendations: Just to call out, I'm currently a L5 but when i look for jobs for myself, it recommends a lot of L3 roles in different locations as excellent match; I doubt if this is helpful for recruiters who keep sending resumes matched by Eightfold AI & candidates who are looking for jobs who keep applying jobs to levels which are not ideal for them.

Sometimes helpful when the candidate is really interested to apply for PayPal but not sure which role to apply for

Also, helps recruiters to do an easy shortlist for the roles

**What do you like best about Eightfold AI?**

As an engineering hiring manager, Eightfold streamlined sourcing, assessing, and reaching out to prospects. It kept the hiring committee on the same page and helped us work together seamlessly. We got qualified candidates in the hiring pipeline quickly and painlessly. SO MUCH BETTER THAN EVERYTHING I HAVE USED BEFORE!

**What do you dislike about Eightfold AI?**

Everything just makes sense. The layout facilitates no-nonsense work while giving the option for niche customization. I can't think of what else I would want in a platform like this.

**What problems is Eightfold AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have worked with over 8 recruiters over the course of 9 months to fill 1 req; spending significant time filling in, coordinating with, and waiting on my recruiting partners. That all stopped when our company started using Eightfold. I literally saw my recruiter take a sigh of relief when showing me the Eightfold platform. This platform facilitates true collaboration and inspires confidence in the recruiting process.

I like how functional Eightfold is to use. It's easy to navigate and understand the system.

Most emails are not up-to-date for candidates, emails go to candidates junk mail when you send them an email out of eightfold, and you can't add candidates to other requisitions that your name is not under.

Eightold is nice to have the communities in one spot so you can have pipelines for certain tech stacks for candidates so you can re-use them for different roles.

The smooth UI and the AI automatic feature of giving matching search results. Also I loved the amazing parsing feature which parses the candidate's data from their resume directly for the referral.

The AI functionality can be improved to give more accurate results.
Also I cannot see full details on candidate's application status , like if the candidate is hired or is in interview stages and all that.

The ease its intuitive you can be up and running.  The hardest thing is choosing what to do first.  You can do candidate outreach, branding and even an internal referral promotion.

Nothing this is a tool that will increase candidate brand awareness and engagement

The follow-up, lots of times, you could use other tools to do outreach and forget to go back.  EightFold is pinned to the internet browser I go in daily.  The follow-up settings do all the work for you, create templates and monitor.

The best thing about Eightfold is the way of scheduling. Even the managers can view the feedbacks. The invite goes together to the candidate and the panel.

I dont like about is that we dont get consolidated report. And when we edit the invite goes again to the panel and the candidates.

its not consuming much time in scheduling the interviews. Hence we get enough time for other work. It sends the invites together to those who are marked. Its user friendly.

The sourcing and moving multiple pages of candidates forward to assessment. Also, the filters are great while sourcing in an open req or evergreen. The stages wouldnt match up even though I would use filters Also cannot resent an assessment through 8fold, had to go to another system. Also cannot find NDA's in eightfold, I have to use Workday

We sometimes need the leads sourced, but not always and in my case we had 14 thousand applicants, I didnt need more sourced so it didnt benefit or help at all

Ability to see candidates' information history, I can see the previous conversation with my colleagues and will be able to continue the conversation from where they left it.

From the candidates' perspective: they cannot create two accounts, the application( eightfold) will merge both accounts, which is good for a recruiter, and it also eliminates misrepresentation

**What problems is Eightfold AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The major problem that AI is solving for me is using the Eightfold extension. The extension allows me to save candidate profiles directly from Linkedin into my project/application.

It is the best tool to track the activities/interview requests to be actioned upon as the RFIs collate in the Dashboard.

**What do you dislike about Eightfold AI?**

Though the tool is automated, it still lacks an automated report option which could help us with the collated report of the interviews we have scheduled. It'll also help us calculate the average time to close an interview cycle.

Since we have multiple participants to loop in for the interviews, Eightfold has the option to add all the recipients in a single RFI, saving us a lot of time .

**What do you like best about Eightfold AI?**

The best thing about Eightfold is being able to follow up with candidates and discover their emails. Eightfold does help automate following up with candidates in a customizable way. You can personalize the emails that you send with tokens! Also, you can choose when you'd like to send out the emails.

**What do you dislike about Eightfold AI?**

I think Eightfold can improve the quality of candidates they send us through Eightfold leads. It's awesome that Eightfold has the option to send leads, but sometimes the candidates are not aligned to what I'm looking for.

Eightfold saves time and helps me not lose track of any candidates.

The calibration feature helps a lot in the screening and schedule center- it is easy to track all the schedules in one go. better than many ATS in market as it provide alot of feature.

**What do you dislike about Eightfold AI?**

We can't modify feedback. There are cases where the panel wants to edit the feedback because of some mistake, but there is no feature as such for that. Also need a very high speed internet to run.

Shortlisting has become very easy. Now its also easy to move a candidate from one stage to another. Also scheduling is also easy using this application.

Eightfold is a very customer-centric company. They have been responsive to our requests, and we have been co-creating the Career Hub together. The team have shown a lot of energy and passion throughout the project.

There have been a lot of new people joining the project part way through, so it's hard to know who the whole team is that we are working with.  It's been hard to share files, and not all of the team has been able to join the Teams channel for collaboration. It would be helpful if Eightfold could improve its collaboration tools to be able to work more closely with customers.

Visibility of internal talent and skills. A place to network with other employees based on skills and interests. Better visibility of internal vacancies.

**What do you like best about Eightfold AI?**

Eightfold is helping us understand our existing talent pool and where we have gaps in our pipeline while simultaneously showing us what other qualified talent we have already working across the company. This has improved our partnership and ability to articulate challenges in the market with our business leaders and hiring managers. Our recruiters save time and make better choices because they feel more confident and educated about the talent in our pipelines.

**What do you dislike about Eightfold AI?**

As a user of Eightfold that is less than a year beyond implementation, it is hard to say definitively what the downsides are. It seems more like we are  discovering new things we like versus hurdles to climb.   However, the only challenges we have encountered are really around integration issues that come with any new technology connecting to other systems and we have been able to work through these.

**Recommendations to others considering Eightfold AI:**

If you are looking for an end to end talent intelligence platform this is the right choice. As HR becomes more cross functional this is a solution that blurs Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Workforce planning lines and allows bettwe collaboration via one platform.

**What problems is Eightfold AI solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We solved the lack of insight into our existing talent pool; before Eightfold, we had no view of talent who might qualify for other jobs, and now we can see in real-time qualified applicants that before were useless to us. We are now knowledgeable about our skills and future gaps. We are solving internal mobility challenges by having real-time insights into our talent pool and moving employees to new roles that interest them before they look at other companies where they can get these experiences. Before implementing Eightfold, scheduling was manual, sourcing was entirely manual and we were not well aligned with hiring managers on the true requirements of roles. Finally, we have intelligence around our talent pipelines, and we can nurture those relationships via the CRM. I leave recruiting events and simply hit send on email follow-up to all of the attendees because everything is in the system.

I have over 80,000 candidates in Jobvite and no real search functionality. And if I do, that data is stale. With Eightfold, I have an actionable Talent Pool that I can nurture and foster, leading to faster hiring times and more productivity for my company.

It's not a magic pill...it's only as good as the team you have to support the change management. If you use it correctly, it will change the way you recruit...navigating that change is where success is laid or missed.

Its allowed us to recruit through a series of campaigns that engage our Talent Pool. Much easier to hire someone who knows who you are, knows what your culture is all about, ever before stepping foot onsite. By engaging with former candidates, many who never interacted with a recruiter, we have shaved days off of our "Time to Hire" stat.

The Eightfold AI is a powerful tool assisting Recruiters with matching talent to open requisitions and efficiently streamlines the shortlisting process.  The Recruiter no longer needs to review all applicants on an open requisition,  instead just focusing on applicants with high match scores provided by the Eightfold AI. In addition the search functionality, filtering and calibration page is superior compared to the other leading CRM tools (Candidate Relationship Management).

The Eightfold team assigned to our account were professional and knowledgeable in every aspect of talent acquisition and provided valuable insight as we implemented the tool and integrated it with our ATS (Workday). I was impressed with the various team memebers from sales, implementation, training, support, analytics and customer success.

**What do you dislike about Eightfold AI?**

Eightfold should consider developing web crawling capabilities.  Many CRM tools have built-in web crawlers.  Specifically if a Recruiter needs a pipeline of prospects outside of their current database, the web crawler can search the web;  job boards, social media sites and search engines for prospects in an automated fashion and populate the appropriate reqs with additional prospects that are not in the users database.  In addition it would be advantageous to have the web crawling functionality integrate with the Eightfold calibration form.

The problems we are solving with Eightfold are as follows:

*Extracting more details on job requirements from hiring managers via the Eightfold calibration page
*Identifying and matching high-quality prospects and candidates to open reqs and pipelines

The AI driven technology is like another very advance member of the sourcing team. The leads generated would supplement the recruitment process and can only help to identify qualified candidates faster.

**What do you dislike about Eightfold AI?**

Real time updates with the source data would be helpful. For example, currently if a role closes out in one system, that change does not carry over. So we have to manually update in EF, unpublish and archive. Also, if an update is made to the original job description, that change does not carry over to EF automatically. Additional reporting capabilities (with ability to export to Excel) would be another plus.

EF technology is an additional member of the team and maximizes efficiencies.
