What I like best is how seamlessly it nests inside Microsoft Teams and Outlook. Instead of forcing employees to log into a completely separate, heavy HR software portal just to request time off, they can do it directly within the tool they already use daily. The automatic Entra ID user syncing, real-time Outlook calendar updates, and the calendar overview that lets you see exactly who is out across different departments at a single glance are massive time-savers. While the interface is incredibly clean for daily use, the reporting engine could be slightly more robust for deep HR auditing. Additionally, the admin settings can feel a bit restrictive when dealing with mid-month pro-rata calculations or setting up strict carry-over expiry rules. It’s user-friendly, meets our needs, and offers good value for money. Overall, we had a very positive experience testing and using the system. I find the clarity of Absentify great. You can see at a glance who is in the office and who is not. The vacation and sick leave planning is very well implemented in Teams. Additionally, absences can be easily recorded and employees can make requests without hassle. The initial setup was super easy, and we use it seamlessly within Teams. We were looking for a way to enable our employees to create recurring absence notifications, as this is not possible in Outlook.

With absentify, not only is this possible automatically, but we also received a sophisticated and highly flexible absence management software.

I have found that integration with Microsoft 365 has been useful for our team in using Absentify. The employees also embrace the use of the personal calendar to make requests for their time off; while the auto updates from the profiles ensures accurate information. Absentify cannot integrate into other platforms in the same fluid way that we use them. For instance, we need to manually key in information from Absentify to our payroll system, which not only increases the workload but also exposes our data to errors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We have been using Absentify and it has been helpful to integrate with Microsoft 365 for our team. It is convenient for employees to make any request for leave from the calendar, and changes from the Microsoft profiles are updated automatically. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
