**What do you like best about net2phone?**

I like net2phone because it allows me multiple ways to track calls, missed calls and voicemails. It is simple and easy to use as well. They have a desktop version that allows you to work and receive calls remotely.

**What do you dislike about net2phone?**

There is not much to dislike about net2phone.

**What problems is net2phone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows me to read my voicemails as they come in. That helps me multitask when I am unable to answer a call because it allows me to see who is calling and what they might need with the visual voicemail. It makes me more efficient at work.

**What do you like best about net2phone?**

Best thing about Net2Phone is their support.  They have been prompt to respond and eager to help with whatever problem I've thrown at them.  I couldn't ask for more from a support staff than I've seen from Net2Phone.

**What do you dislike about net2phone?**

The service itself is good technically, but the little details are not so good.  In a way, our previous landline service did at least a few more things that we need, compared to this service.  Granted, the phones we purchased were low-end and that contributes to the problem, I'm sure, but things like directory creation and changes are much harder than they should be, in my opinion.  Forwarding a voicemail from the phone itself and not just from email is another option we really miss.  Again, a higher-end phone choice may have solved these problems, but we didn't know that when we purchased them.

**What problems is net2phone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can use the call analytics to see what calls are coming in and to where much easier than we could with our previous system.  Configuration is much easier, like setting up ring groups, departments, schedules, etc.  My job is easier now with Net2Phone.

Their online portal is somewhat easy to use an manage.

they don't know how their product integrates with your own custom set up, so the support they provide is minimal. It's too bad because if they could get their products to work well with teams calling that would be the best since this is industry standard. All telephone calls and routing has to go through their portal, not teams admin portal.

We are going to be moving in another direction away from Net2phone since it does not integrate well with teams.

**What do you like best about net2phone?**

So far, less than a full week into using net2phone, the only advantage that I can see is the price. I cut our costs significantly, but there is nothing better from a product standpoint between this service and the one we were using before. Hopefully our perspective changes over time, but I am not hopeful given the truly awful onboarding experience.

**What do you dislike about net2phone?**

We just started using net2phone less than a week ago and the list of dislikes so far is very long. The biggest beef was with the onboarding process. We completed net2phone's setup spreadsheets and scheduled our port over date weeks in advance. On the day of the port over, we were told to expect about 15-20 minutes of down time but that was it. Only on the date of the port over were we told we had to figure out how to reboot and reset all of our Polycom phones. Which meant either hunting for passwords because the Polycom default password didn't work or going through a fifteen minute override process for each phone. Long story short, we spent the entire day working through equipment issues that could have been dealt with on a weekend or off hours to avoid impacting our work day. Not a peep of apology from net2phone when I expressed frustration over that. And then, on the product side, the mobile app is twice as glitchy as the app for our prior provider - somthing I told them was a big issue for us and our remote employees. To me, the worst part has been that all involved at n2p have completely ignored my complaints - acting as if everything were just fine.

**What problems is net2phone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As of right now, n2p isn't really solving any problems that we had previously. If anything, the service is worse. The most critical piece in our selection of n2p was the claims that their mobile app and portal were state of the art and 99.9% efficient. If we said 50% efficient, we'd be stretching it.

While net2phone's product is not too different functionally from others, it is the customer service and support that sets it apart. Often the sales folks are accommodating but as soon as the contract is signed, the support disappears. This is not the case with net2phone - they are responsive and super helpful. Highly recommended.

It is not the most intuitive system, but the exceptional support more than makes up for it.

We can do call routing, set unique office hours, everything you need.

**What do you like best about net2phone?**

The software for providing telecommunications to our business for Microsoft Teams via Direct Connect was somewhat straightforward. That is the extent of the good things to say about net2phone.

**What do you dislike about net2phone?**

Be sure to read the contract carefully as we were hit with many early terminination fees (ETF) when we moved to another provider. We moved due to the lack in transparancy for billing for serivces we were trying out. We cancelled some of those services since we were no longer using them and wanted to know what to expect in our next bill. Good luck getting an answer out of them or via any of the portals they provide. They responded with a screenshot of my current bill and I was left with the answer "wait for the next bill". Unacceptable for a telecommunications company. Support was lacking greatly in that it seemed as though I was communicating with a gradeschooler who had been on the job maybe a week.

Integrating with Microsoft Teams to provide Direct Connect so that Teams would provide all communications needs for our company.

This is the worst choice we have ever made. They cut our old phone lines when installed so it would cost us $40k to switch back to any other carrier. These phones do not work the customer service is bad too. We can not contact each other in the same building let alone sustain clear calls. I would never think this company is someone to work with. Ever.

They are useless paperweights. They aren't phones at all. They can't communicate with each other or the outside world with any form of consistency.

They install with support with an onboarding specialist. This person is dedicated to you from beginning to end and beyond. All support is US based. Lower price than the competitors. Lots of support.

They provide weekly onboard training. Not every vendor is perfect. The good news is that they will honor and improve promised features.

I cannot think of anything positive to express about net2phone.

**What do you dislike about net2phone?**

They care nothing about customer support. They advertise that there system is set up for ease of management but they force you to call them for what should be the simplest of functions.  They also over bill by excess regulatory fees.  They never work with customers to resolve problems in a professional manner. In fact, they threaten to cancel the customer's service whenever there is problem that they do not want to address.  These problems go to the hightest levels of management.

They originally quoted a contract that benefitted the customer, but as time went on they only hampered the customer.

**What do you like best about net2phone?**

Net2Phone is a robust replacement for our old phone system.  It is fully customizable. Once, I was about to have a bad experience, filled out a survey, and within minutes had my answer and both an email and another tech called me with the confirmation and clarification. I was more than satisfied, and time and time again the support team has delivered -Excellent customer service!

**What do you dislike about net2phone?**

Net2Phone is completely customizable, which unfortunately means you have to build it into a complete solution, it has all the tools but if I had to choose one thing that could be improved I would love to see the Help files completely reorganized to illustrate and highlight Net2Phones potential so together we could achieve the optimum configuration for our needs-  just to be clear the support team members are the best and their support is awesome. I would just like to feel more comfortable about my system knowledge and make sure my requests make sense  given the current architecture

**What problems is net2phone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Net2phone is our company's first venture into VOIP services I am still investigating the options.  Any obstacles were handled so quickly by the support it is hard to remember any important ones.  The only thing that comes to mind is that I wish the call log was more accessible. What I mean is 2 things first, I would love to be able to print a company phone book. (for anyone especially new employees and remote workers) so that anyone could have a list of internal contact information without having to go on the web. We have Salespeople who are always in the field and several "work from home" individuals who would benefit from this.  Right now, if I print a company directory it limits my view and prints out to 10 contacts to view or print and Every page has to be viewed and printed separately. so instead of a nice 1 or 2-page contact sheet, it prints an awkward 10-page monstrosity that is no help to anyone.  If I export the data to Excel it is basically like starting from scratch the format it pulls done not easily allow you to add cell phones and other contact information.

I also have the optional receptionist-console however because I am only the backup receptionist all of my call history lists only the main number instead of the caller id on every call.

And, on the analytics page: for example, would say 7 calls came in for the period the receptionist answered all seven calls but because my phone rings simultaneously mine report says I have missed between 14 and 20 calls with Simo ring and forwarding. I wish there was a way for it to report accurately call disposition

**What do you like best about net2phone?**

Easy sales process and onboarding. We use the bare minimum of N2P functionality - desk phones, text messages, holiday schedules, and mobile app/call forwarding. We rarely, if ever, have issues with missed texts or dropped calls.

**What do you dislike about net2phone?**

Customer service is horrendous. 2 situations lead to this review:

1. Our bank account was randomly drafted in the middle of the month for double our usual bill. After much back and forth and half answers from a customer service rep, they confirmed that was a mistake on their end and credited the account. The process of getting to that obvious conclusion was painful and a waste of our time. 

2. We canceled one of our lines and returned the leased phone we have had for a year or so. We were asked to return the phone in its original packaging with the manual - which we did. They charged us $300 stating that the phone did not work. As proof they sent a photo of the phone screen that had some fingerprint smudges. After putting up a fight, they agreed to only charge $150.

**What do you like best about net2phone?**

I am a big fan of how user friendly the administrative portal is to use.  It is straight forward, easy to navigate, and allows for frequent changes as business needs dictate.  It is rarely time consuming to orchestrate any changes, and the analytics area provides a lot of valuable business insight about user's activity levels.

**What do you dislike about net2phone?**

The onboarding process was a bit time consuming and arduous for my 5 office organization.   The combination of porting phone numbers and configuring the headsets was lengthy.   It is fair to note that some delays were out of net2phone's hands, such as the turnaround time on porting numbers.  Net2phone made the process as easy as they could.

**What problems is net2phone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Net2phone allows  me to manage our 37 line phone system spread out across 5 physical office locations in a clear and effective manner.  It allows for call recording for training purposes, strong analytical data to monitor user's activity levels, and has a wonderful mobile app for bouncing between a soft phone and desk phone.

Net2phone has allowed us complete flexibility to customize our phone system to our unique business needs, and has improved our customer experience by streamlining communication activities effectively.

I have used several different VOIP providers and Net2phone delivers on service and price.  I have setup many clients of mine with Net2phone and each and every time thee Net2phone staff has done an amazing job on the setup and onboarding and when I have needed help with phones and devices they always are 10/10.

There few if any downsides  and actually their lack of a true inside sales team is a benefit to most companies because it means you will get the best service using your trusted internet services agent to get connected with Net2phone.

In my technology practice Net2phone is providing my customers with an excellent Ucass platform.

My husbands business was undergoing a hostile takeover attempt. Mark helped me during my lowest point. He quickly resolved the matter and found an amazing "out of the box" solution. Fighting an evil hostile company was daunting but having an Angel like Mark helping us was beyond amazing. Thank you !!! ( He has a lovely Irish accent too)

Only downside is I could not run to staples and buy phones in an emergency when hostile employee threw all our phones out.

The portal is easy to navigate, and their support staff is fairly responsive and have been able to resolve our issues quickly. Setting up the system is straightforward and intuitive.

**What do you dislike about net2phone?**

There are hidden taxes and fees that are added onto the bill that are not discussed on the inital quote, close to 25% of what the initial quote was. This is not a deal breaker, but it would have been nice to have a frank discussion about the total charges. The portal has some limitations for admin access, and you need to contact support to make certain changes.

Net2Phone offers a cost-effective solution to traditional landlines. It allows for the possibility of true remote work, and the conferencing app Huddle is another way to have meetings.

**What do you like best about net2phone?**

It is portable-we can bring our phones home or not bring them home, but still have access to the phone ringing at all times (that we select each day/week/month). I love the clearness when speaking and hearing others speak. I used to have difficulty with the old phone line phones, but since using the voice over internet phone system, I no longer have that concern. Extremely easy to use/learn usage and follow as an administrator the calls/voicemails, length of time to answer, etc.

**What do you dislike about net2phone?**

The only issue is if the internet goes down, so do our phones. Fortunately, this is rare now that Comcast has finally fixed our internet lines.  We had issues before VOIP, and they were forced to find the problem once we purchased this system!

**What problems is net2phone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a small business, it makes for easier transfers to one another, managing messages for others, transferring messages, etc. The phones and phone system are sleek, easy to use and program. Great individual voicemails as well.

We have used Net2Phone for many years, and they are outstanding.  Anytime we have service requests, they are handled promptly and efficiently.  Everyone is friendly and helpful.  The portal is excellent, and the app is wonderful too.  It is effortless to work from anywhere.  I highly recommend them.

**What do you dislike about net2phone?**

I have nothing negative to say about Net2Phone.  This is not their fault, but the Polycom phones are not the greatest. When calls come in, the telephone becomes unfunctional to put a call or hold or access other features.

**What problems is net2phone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We recently went through a buyout and had a phone # port out in error.  Net2Phone got to the bottom of the issue, and we are in the process of porting it back to us.

Sometimes it is difficult to establish new schedules for the ring groups. I have also been having trouble getting calls to ring on just my staff's cell phones and not on any office device. I am sure the awesome customer support can help me though.

**What do you like best about net2phone?**

We lowered our monthly phone bill and gained international calling, our two primary goals for going to a VOIP service. By getting extensions, an auto attendant, and individual voicemails, we feel more professional to first-time callers and have reduced some of the receptionist burdens from our bookkeeper.  We also started using Yealink's ruggedized phones on the factory floor, a vast improvement over the old phones we've used and replaced for decades. Net2Phone's onboarding specialist was helpful with any questions we had, and after two months, we haven't had any problems.

**What do you dislike about net2phone?**

We haven't had any problems with Net2Phone, and I'm sure that if we did, they would remedy the issue.

We didn't have international calling with our old landline and were paying much more for it. Switching to Net2Phone allowed us to make calls to Mexico and reduced our phone bill.

When the service works the call clarity is on par with other SIP trunk providers.

**What do you dislike about net2phone?**

When we have issues, which is infrequent but critical, their support regularly takes exceedingly long times to review basic issues.  It's something that's happened many times.  This time specifically, I reached out because I have only two companies (RocketCyber and Cities Digital)  telling me they're suddenly getting a busy signal when calling our SIP trunk.  All other people are fine.  It's very strange and of course we looked at our PBX internally; blacklist etc.  Call isnt reaching the PBX at all so we open a ticket with them.

I opened the ticket on a Monday, and by Thursday they're still asking me what number it was/ what time.  Said I needed to provide an example that occured within the last 24 hours.  I said, well, if my ticket had been responded to on Monday or Tuesday you'd have that.  The call comes specifically from RocketCyber NOC for early detection malware alerts and I can't force them on a dime to call us.  The Friday after that, an entire week has gone by and crickets, and Im getting an automated email that if I dont respond they'll close the ticket.

Last year at one point we had an issue that took two weeks to get a reply at all!  We had a client with one way audio issues, which is usually a NAT issue in the VoIP world, but it only happened on a few inbound numbers.  All others were fine.  Since firewall rules dont discriminate against phone numbers we figured there might be an issue on the carrier end.  If it was a NAT issue then we'd have it on every call.  We popped in our FlowRoute DID and everything went away.  Left it that way for like a week to be sure....

Bottom line is that none of the issues I've had have been resolved to my satisfaction, its difficult to get them to follow up, onboarding was painful for my last 3CX deployment; the specialist was hard to get to follow up and that account had a lot of DID's.  I'd really just recommend you steer clear; they're in a crowded market space; 3CX phone system no longer supports them; just go with someone else.

We need a SIP trunk for our 3CX PBX phone systems that we sell and deploy.

There is nothing to like, the service and response time is terrible. There is no direction in how the process works and who is involved.

Everything, the onboarding and provisioning tasks were a complete nightmare, emails and requests are ignored or it takes days and reminders to get a response.

The hope was to move to their platform and use MS Teams, however they failed to mention that there are limitations to using their platform and they have no experience to assist with Teams.

We have been using this company for a few years now.  Any time I need help their staff is always there, always know what they are talking about and always friendly.  What's not to like?

**What do you dislike about net2phone?**

When the internet goes down so does our company but that's the sad part about VOIP in general.  It's rare so not a deal breaker.  I would recommend VOIP to anyone.  I recently learned (this past weekend) that all the people who have copper lines with Bell Canada will be switching over to FIBE and they will now lose their dedicated phone lines in case of a power outage.  If there is no power you will no longer be able to call anyone, not even 911 so if you don't have a cell phone....... I guess you are SOL.  Oh wait, this was supposed to be a dislike.  Nope, sorry can't think of anything bad all things considered.

Setting up a call group for our customer service agents.  This system is more versatile than Bell Canada ever was.

The ease of implementation is key.  All phones are pre-programmed, and boxes are labeled with the user's name and extension number.  Phones arrive before porting date so we can ensure they are working and port date testing is thorough.  Training materials are easily accessible and users/administrators can attend live training before or after installation.  If I have needed support, response live and via email is very quick and technicians are very knowledgeable and thorough.

More detailed information about the the scope of capabilities and limitations of phones/features prior to selling would be helpful.

Quick installation.  We were able to get a system up and running in 3 days for a customer who was completely out of service with their premise-based system.

I love being able to customize everything within our system at a click of a button. Having an auto attendant is absolutely amazing!! Over the past few years we have been able to quickly change modify how the system works best for our company as it grows and the needs change.

I can't think of anything that is least helpful, but I would love to see a few features enhanced or added. It would be great to be able to have a company contacts list that everyone would be able to access, add, edit etc, for anyone that is outside of the organization. Also, the app is wonderful but we have had issues with connectivity and clarity when making call through that feature.

love their simple online platform. easy to connect with clients via text. we also like that phone calls are recorded for quality assurance. the voicemail system is also convenient; allowing transcripts which can help ease the confusion of the audio.

there aren't many things that our office has had issues with regarding the systems net2phone offers. this is one of the few vendors that our agency uses that does not end with frustration on a weekly basis lol.

Net2Phone has a good interface to easily manage each location's phone system without extensive technical knowledge required. Managing the auto-attendant is easy because the system shows you visually what each button will do.

**What do you dislike about net2phone?**

Compatibility with popular carriers such as Rogers is fairly poor. There are known issues with the standard modems utilized by Rogers which will cause calls to frequently drop. Unfortunately neither Rogers or Net2Phone are willing to accept fault for this issue and you will be stuck with a faulty phone system unless you are willing to change your internet service provider. Which is a shame because the system itself is good at locations with other service providers.

Net2Phone let's us manage several locations worth of phones from an easy to navigate interface. It is much better than some ISP provided solutions that have more obtuse interfaces.

Having the call log with time stamps, caller numbers, search function, and call time logged is helpful for our sales and support team. Their support line has always been helpful and understanding when we have needed their assistance.

Occasionally having to refresh the browser's cache due to computer microphone and headset audio not properly functioning feels like it shouldn't be required. Though support has always been helpful when needed.
