**What do you like best about Zoom Phone?**

Zoom Workplace is completely customizable and offers options for almost anything you can think of. In theory, it could be a 'one stop shop' for all your workplace communication - since email and calendars can be integrated directly into your Zoom toolbar. It took us about two months to fully implement Zoom Workplace (with phones). The transition to using the desktop app was effortless - switching to VoIP was more difficult. I use Zoom daily to message my colleagues and make phone calls.

**What do you dislike about Zoom Phone?**

The ability to customize Zoom is what makes it great - but it's almost as though there are too many options - many hidden settings on the web version admin portal. It took me several months to get comfortable with how my Zoom Workplace was set up and even now I'm learning something new every day. It has been a lot of trial and error with my team and we've been sharing what we've found to work. 

I've had a few issues with Support not understanding my questions or sending me information clearly intended for another client.

**What problems is Zoom Phone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Zoom Workplace replaced our outdated phone system. We are three months in to the transition and still learning the nuances of Zoom phones and VoIP phones in general. The zoom desktop app has been very easy to learn and most of our office enjoys the instant messaging feature - which has cut down on the number of emails in a day. We have not fully explored all Zoom can do as we are still trying to get comfortable with the system.

**What do you like best about Zoom Phone?**

What I love most about Zoom is that it is very user friendly. It is easy for end users to understand and managing it from an IT perspective is wonderful as well. Setting up the integrations with G Suite is quick and painless. Setting up Calendar integrations with G Suite is also amazing. The fact you can have a Zoom Room set up to make it even easier for our end users to have Zoom meetings with remote employees or clients is very valuable. Zoom makes it easy for folks who do not have Zoom installed to join via the browser as well. They have integration with Microsoft Skype/Lync which also makes it easy for folks who use Skype for their business environment as well. Zoom responded, fixed, and educated their users about the Zoom Bombing as well which was great. They have features in place that just needed to be enabled to ensure outside folks cannot just guess the meeting ID.

**What do you dislike about Zoom Phone?**

I dislike that the updates are up to the user to install. I have used a script I found online which pushes these updates to the Macs and PCs. Zoom responded quickly to the negative press, saying they had the solutions in place but they should just make the waiting room and passwords a default action. I also think they release too many updates. They should wait a bit longer when pushing out features as they could just do it all in one big release so I don't have to keep updating my endpoints.

We are solving for meeting remotely with clients and for our team and setting up webinars for internal meetings.

**What do you like best about Zoom Phone?**

I love that Zoom Workplace has easy to use - easy to see features. I can be in a meeting, then jump over to a phone call and back without anyone knowing. The backgrounds are easy to use. I like that it has the option of "auto mute" and video toggle off an on. Never any audio or visual issues.

**What do you dislike about Zoom Phone?**

The only few things I would change is if the recording start / stop could be placed back on the bottom tool bar. Instead of having to click into a menu then adjust from there. 

Also, I would like the tools to be able to take control of another users screen and use arrows, pencils, etc to be more user friendly and easy to access. It would be wonderful if it were easier to delete a notation I'd placed on the shared user screen. Sometimes this feature "bugs out" and gets stuck, delaying my continuity of my meeting.

I can answer calls directly from my computer and hold video meetings easily.

**What do you like best about Zoom Phone?**

I appreciate that I am able to use a zoom phone number to allow for me to connect with business contacts without sharing my personal phone number. I appreciate that zoom integrates with other applications I already use, such as Calendly, Constant Contact, and the Google Suite.

**What do you dislike about Zoom Phone?**

I think at times certain pieces can feel clunky or glitchy at times still. Things like the fact that I can't turn off the meeting waiting room after starting a meeting in my personal room. I also don't love the AI feature; I appreciate that we have the ability to turn off AI meeting summaries if we don't want them. I have found other AI meeting summaries used by colleagues to be inaccurate and not very helpful, so I am not interested in trying a service like this.

Zoom helps me to create, schedule, and organize meetings efficiently both within my organization and with external clients.

**What do you like best about Zoom Phone?**

Great for large conference meetings at work or even personal. Zoom makes staying connected with co-workers and clients easy. One of my favourite parts about Zoom compared to other systems is that you can also have 'break out' sessions. We've used this to play activities as a team and stay connected. Screen sharing and recording is also easy. Zoom has everything you'd need. Zoom Phone is also a very high quality softphone.

**What do you dislike about Zoom Phone?**

My only complaint with Zoom is that I have been 'booted' out a few times and have found I need to reconnect on my phone instead. Also it can sometimes be a downside that the meeting doesn't start until the presenter joins - sometimes our clients have this set.

It is a complete collaboration tool that allows me to do video conferencing, make calls and do a collaboration like a whiteboard all from one spot.

**What do you like best about Zoom Phone?**

I have had very big success with using zoom. It has been reliable and has not cut out when hosting meetings. It was easy to implement. It is very user friendly. There is great customer support and training. We use it often for all of our users

**What do you dislike about Zoom Phone?**

I haven't had great success with using the mobile version of Zoom. User's have issues hearing me when using the mobile features.

We had issues with our VOIP when using ring central. It was not very user friendly. There was not much training on Ring Central. Zoom has solved all those problems and user's are satisfied.

**What do you like best about Zoom Phone?**

I love the layout and design. I like being able to create folders to categorize and organize chats. This feature is not available in Teams. I love being able to share multiple screens. I love that Zoom is private and will not show up even if you are sharing your screen. Overall, I just love the customizability of Zoom.

**What do you dislike about Zoom Phone?**

I wish Zoom Workplace had a larger selection of GIFs, as these are a common occurrence within our company. I wish you could @ or mention someone in a one-on-one chat to signal importance. I wish in meeting you could have a list of people who were not silenced if they messaged you.

Zoom Workplace solves our need for a communication tool that allows effortless collaboration packaged in an easy-to-use software. It allows our teams to communicate faster, which ups productivity.

**What do you like best about Zoom Phone?**

Zoom allows remote control of team members, call recording, and screen sharing. I also love the screen sharing options for the rest of my team!

**What do you dislike about Zoom Phone?**

None. Everything seems so perfect, no call or video lags

**Recommendations to others considering Zoom Phone:**

I would highly recommend business owners, and sales development reps to use Zoom compared to Skype or other apps. Zoom has a lot of cool features like call recording, sharing your entire screen or just your presentation.

Group meetings and screen sharing. I realized that Zoom is way better than Skype.

**What do you like best about Zoom Phone?**

I love the integration of Phone, Chat, and Calendar. The AI/Auto-Transcribe feature is pretty amazing and I love that it calls you when you have a meeting scheduled - that way I never miss a meeting!

**What do you dislike about Zoom Phone?**

As an Admin, I do not like that you cannot move a terminated user's chat history over to another person, like their manager. And if you delete the term user, you lose all of their chat histories forever. The only way we have found to keep the chat - is to deactivate and remove license/phone plans from a terminated user's account.

**What problems is Zoom Phone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is an all in one type SaaS solution. It easily integrates with Microsoft office 365 and calendar.

**What do you like best about Zoom Phone?**

As a small nonprofit organization, Zoom Workplace allows us flexibility to work all across the state of Colorado without missing a beat. From the phone services, virtual meetings, chat and more, it is easy and reliable to work together without being together.

**What do you dislike about Zoom Phone?**

The only downside has been that my computer doesn't like switching from Zoom to Teams meetings, so I make a point of scheduling meetings with Zoom even when meeting folks at agencies who usually use teams.

**What problems is Zoom Phone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With a hybrid workforce and a small team that works across a large geographic region, Zoom Workplace helps us be a well-organized and nimble agency.

**What do you like best about Zoom Phone?**

Zoom Workplace can provide great collaboration with other users on the platform! It is easy to manage from an administrator perspective! The user implementation and integration were seamless when adding users to the platform! The customer support is very responsive and will ensure you are getting the support and help you need! We use it everyday for our work environment so it is money well spent!

None that I can think of! Everything checks all of the boxes we need in our company!

**What do you like best about Zoom Phone?**

It's incredibly easy to manage the soft and hard phone systems. Managing licenses, phone numbers, extensions, user accounts--all of it. Implementation was a piece of cake, and for a mission, we receive hundreds of inbound and outbound calls a day. It's easy, comprehensive and one of the most financially competitive solutions out there.

**What do you dislike about Zoom Phone?**

The userability and management still has a bit to go. Many older employees struggle in the beginning if they've been used to picking up a phone and are now dialing / answering through the computer. So far only trouble I've had with management is getting our hard phones to have the same hold music as the soft phones, but our tech support rep has been super responsive and consistent in answering us.

**What problems is Zoom Phone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Overexpensive phone solutions are a plague of the modern world. To upgrade our old phone system to be current, utilizable and manageable (who knows how easy the Admin UI would've been) would've cost up to $20,000. We are currently enjoying our new soft and hard phones at a wopping $217 / month for 16 licenses used by multiples of people.

**What do you like best about Zoom Phone?**

Zoom's ease of use shows why it is the leader in virtual conferencing applications. It's easily integratable with a wide variety of platforms and environments. The vast library of innovative apps that can be added to Zoom only makes it that much more appealing. I use Zoom frequently, nearly daily. In my organization it is the staple so provisioning users in Zoom works seamlessly with our identity provider ensuring easy implementation.

**What do you dislike about Zoom Phone?**

I can't say that I really have a dislike or downside to Zoom. Its a great tool. It's very easy to use and deploy. The settings are easy to configure. I guess the only thing would be if I'm in a Zoom meeting on my desktop and choose to join from my cell phone, there are 2 entries thus throwing off the true number of meeting members.

**What problems is Zoom Phone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am not aware of any problems with Zoom effecting our organization. We have not had to reach out to support in quite some time.

**What do you like best about Zoom Phone?**

Simplicity. As Zoom has matured, using the system has not gotten hard or confusing. As a Zoom subscriber leveraging webinars, large meetings, Zoom Phone, and Zoom Rooms, everything has a consistent interface making it easier for my users to adopt features when getting on-boarded. Customer support is very quick to answer any issues and address concerns. Centralized management, easy implementation, integration with well-known vendors, and replacement of hardware as needed all rank high on my list of pluses.

**What do you dislike about Zoom Phone?**

As an admin, I am not fond of adding gifs/memes/etc. One thing I often push for is that when new features are rolled out, they should be off by default and with an available admin control to determine whether to enable them in their environment. Generally, the opposite occurs where features become available first with no admin control and can't be turned off until later when users have already started leveraging the feature.

**What problems is Zoom Phone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The largest problem solved was a remote and hybrid workforce. Getting away from an on-premise phone/IM solution requiring VPN. Zoom had all the pieces together already for the sudden change and made a seamless transition to accommodate.

**What do you like best about Zoom Phone?**

We started out using Zoom only for video conferencing several years ago. With the onset of COVID we found ourselves managing an almost fully remote team and client base. We added Zoom webinar and eventually switched our phone system over as well. 

Zoom has a very user friendly administrator portal that is easy to add new users and set them up on the phone system - much easier to our past carrier. There is a good variance of options in the settings to customize to user preference, and also some great admin control settings. 

The AI summary is a good addition although the accuracy isn't always quite right.

The Team Chat feature is lacking a little bit (or perhaps we haven't figured it out enough yet). It would be a great all in one solution if we were able to use the chat function more like we do Slack, with being able to include guest members that are not part of our paid license. 

The AI summary function is nice however I would love to see a notetaker similar to Firefly that lists the speakers name and what is being said. I believe this is available when recording but I don't see an option when not recording.

We are a fully remote team so we use Zoom for all internal meetings, as well as a good portion of our client meetings. The Zoom and Google Scheduler function makes it easy to include the Zoom link information in meetings. We also use Zoom for our webinar series.

**What do you like best about Zoom Phone?**

The ability to have video/audio/chat communication on all devices used by staff is critical to maintaining communication among our internal staff and our clients. It is a tool that is used throughout the day for all staff and has been incredibly reliable (replacing an old phone system that was unable to keep pace with our needs). The initial setup and deployment was simple and easily connected to our other business tools. When the rare issue is experienced we have had good support from Zoom that has been timely and solution focused.

There are still some features not yet implemented, or robust enough, to replace our third party solutions (scheduling is a key item). The pricing model does mean that we are unable to remove some accounts and recoup the cost but our company growth has made this nearly a moot point.

I love the fact that Zoom is incredibly organized and in the admin settings, all features are essentially customizable. Zoom is the ultimate tool for communication and collaboration. This program is essential to our business operations.

The only thing I dislike about Zoom is how much space is allotted for our recording storage, however, there really shouldn't be a problem long term as we take these videos and download them into our file cloud-storage platform.

Zoom is fantastic for long video recording while presenting as well as allowing many of our users to join with or without a license of their own. We love Zoom for our clients as this program is widespread and commonplace in the workforce. We love using Zoom. We use it for our meetings and for our phone system. It's very nice to be able to customize each user when they are using zoom phones. Setting vacation, hours and multiple voicemails is super easy and very nice. All of our users love using it and it was so easy to port the numbers over and get everything set up. Customer service is very helpful and with a dedicated rep it's nice as well.

Sometimes the phones cut out. We have had people answer the phone and no one is there. Not sure if the call just drops or if the person can hear us or not. We can't hear anyone.

Zoom Workplace moves all my engagement into one central place. I manage 600 people who were all dispersed over the globe. Everyone is now in one system. Implementation was a breeze with PSO - they Rock. This app is used daily, and we are rolling out additional features constantly - ZCC and Workvivo next. Integration was a breeze. Customer Support - premier support was the best decision I made. Prompt and solves my questions time after time.

Nothing really comes to mind. I have everything in 1 location.

They continue to make useful improvements and it's getting to be a lot like Asana or slack in the platform which is nice. The zoom meetings feature has improved as well and they seem to be on track.

The settings are still very confusing and instead of going to one place in the settings for each type of thing like phone settings, or meetings, there's a million places. Reorganizing their settings would be a godsend. Its like it's grown out of control and they never managed it or reconsidered how it was setup. Their support is awful though. It's impossible to get an answer or speak to a human and their ticketing system is garbage.

I have always been a fan of Zoom but the newly updated Zoom Workplace integrates my calendar view and allows me to easily control and manage my meetings, calls, and messages. I am very pleased with Zoom Workplace and it is integral to my daily workflows.

There isn't much to dislike. I sometimes find the help documentation difficult to navigate and lacking in detail when I'm trying to diagnose an issue. Problems are rare but I administer the system for my company so occasionally need to diagnose and resolve a problem. It is also tedious to add additional Zoom Phone licenses for new employees, which I do somewhat often since we are a growing team. It requires getting in touch with our account rep every time.

Having one app to take calls, instant messages, and create virtual meetings makes it easier to deploy and use. We have mostly older employees who do not use technology much at home. The Zoom user interface is easy to navigate, making training much smoother. Licensing is easy to understand as well.

We occasionally have issues with the Zoom live-streaming app which causes us to reconfigure the custom settings.

I was mislead by the sales rep. I was asked to over-estimate the number of staff we would have 3 years after the contract. I was not informed this could not be changed. Now we are paying for significantly more users than we even employ. I escalated this to legal without a resolution. I am very frustrated by this. We cannot afford a 1300 payment per month and will be ending as soon as we are able. In my account, there is the option to remove staff/decrease users but this option does not work for our account. Zoom can do better than this. I am one upset customer and do not feel supported.

**What do you dislike about Zoom Phone?**

It took nearly 2.5 months to get setup and we have yet to be able to use SMS. The onboarding and support are highly lacking as they are in the Philippines (so replies are not within the same business day and there's a LOT of time wasted since at times they misunderstand the issue (or ask questions about it even if you'd already provided the information). We've been PAYING for the service for 3 months and still can't use all the features. Companywide (all 18 staff) work has been hindered due to the switch.

As of now it's causing problems we did not have.

**What do you like best about Zoom Phone?**

Having Zoom phone, chat, meetings and calendar all in one place is a great time saver and makes it easier to train new staff on one single desktop app. We tried a few other products before settling on Zoom and it seems to be the most comprehensive solution for our small business.

**What do you dislike about Zoom Phone?**

Only downside is having to login to website to get to more settings.

Allowed us to manage calls both on our mobile devices and desktop.

**What do you like best about Zoom Phone?**

Previously we had a Cisco phone, people working on Slack, MS Teams, Zoom, and Google Meets. We had no single platform for communication and collaboration. Now with Zoom Workplace, everything is all under one umbrella.

**What do you dislike about Zoom Phone?**

Nothing really to dislike. Some users preferred using MS Teams (not me) and were a bit harder to get on board. Now everyone is pretty happy with the ability to call, chat, and meet all integrated with Outlook.

**What problems is Zoom Phone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The unified communication has been a blessing. Our users love how you can start out with a chat, elevate it to a call, then to a video call, and if necessary, a full-on Zoom multi-person multi-facility meeting. The adoption of this, even among the initial skeptics, has been amazing.

**What do you like best about Zoom Phone?**

It seems like there is a good amount of customization available within Zoom Workplace. While there are plenty of options all over the place, it seems like once you get the hang of it, it's pretty easy to use. We will be using this as our primary communication platform moving forward. The porting team, Vy Pham in particular, is very helpful with providing me timely updates and making sure that everything I need from her is accomplished quickly.

**What do you dislike about Zoom Phone?**

The customer support via the main phone line is horrible. I've personally had 2 calls dropped on me without any follow-up calls in return. The support is outsourced to what sounds like the Philippines, and all their support techs seem to be operating off a script. No critical thinking, as expected from a support team like this. The out-of-the-box reporting leaves a lot to be desired; roles can not be properly delegated to our team members. Communication via email is sometimes lacking.

**What problems is Zoom Phone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our business needs to communicate both internally with our team members and externally with our customers. That's the primary benefit of using Zoom Workplace.

**What do you like best about Zoom Phone?**

I like several features in zoom. But if you are asking the best one, I like most the host-based sharing features. It prevents unauthorized screen sharing. Only host/admin can decide who will share the screen.

**What do you dislike about Zoom Phone?**

We can not share the long text file. So we have to split our message into two parts if the length of the message is larger. Making the maximum characters in a text message more than 2000 characters will make it useful for users like us. Who share longe in zoom meeting. text whil

I do multiple tasks through zoom such as taking the online class, interacting with friends and scheduling the meeting.

**What do you like best about Zoom Phone?**

Zoom Workplace makes it easy to select the correct channel to connect and share with other users. Change the tab you're in and the whole interface becomes a different app with relevant user interface design.

**What do you dislike about Zoom Phone?**

Zoom Workplace still has some kinks working from platform to platform. Interfaces between desktop and mobile apps seem to be created with different art direction and workflow. Some minor bugs persist with the mobile app, such as scheduled profile status updates.

**What problems is Zoom Phone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Zoom Workplace performs above and beyond competitors in ease of automation. Using iPaaS solutions or diving into Zoom's API directly, there are fewer headaches--most use cases just work with little effort and upfront learning.

I think zoom has brought out so many features that are useful to the end user today. Break out rooms, Zoom Phone, Workplace Chat, and Whiteboard.. It's a one stop shop.

I don't really see a downside to using Zoom. It always runs and is ready to go at a moment's notice.

I love having a single solution for all my unified communication needs

**What do you dislike about Zoom Phone?**

At times Zoom tries to be the jack of all trades and master of none. Most solutions get rolled out too early, with bugs, or even without proper RBAC, which is a must have for enterprises.

Customer support is horrible as well, good luck if you need to open a support case.

**What problems is Zoom Phone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Zoom workplace creates an opportunity to have all your communication in a single place, however, Zoom is not the best breed for everything.

Enterprises choose to use the best of breed, so Zoom Workplace is really more suited for small businesses.

**What do you like best about Zoom Phone?**

I love how easy Zoom workplace is to schedule meetings with the calendaring options. The zoom plug-in for Chrome makes it seamless to integrate zoom meeting address when scheduling a meeting in your calendar program. The fun new features for reactions and animation are lovable and addicting! The studio effects are fabulous and better than other platforms, so I can attend meetings with little to no makeup and look presentable! I prefer Zoom to Teams anyday.

**What do you dislike about Zoom Phone?**

I haven't found something I don't like about Zoom Workplace yet.

**What problems is Zoom Phone solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Working remotely, our zoom VoiP allows us to be reachable at home, screen sharing is key in meetings, and the whiteboard feature allows for collaborative brainstorming while remote.

**What do you like best about Zoom Phone?**

Since the pandemic, most people have become very familiar with Zoom for meetings, so using it as a VOIP solution did not have a steep learning curve for staff. The AI features are a great benefit as well that will make our teams daily operations faster.

**What do you dislike about Zoom Phone?**

There is a big disconnect between the sales team and the implementation team. The sales team promissed a hands-off implementation and after our second meeting with the deployment team it became very clear that we would need to be heavily involved to deploy Zoom Phones. Also during the implementation, whenever we asked more information about a feature or what would be the best option between certain settings, we normally got directed to a knowledge base article that we had to read and figure it out on our own anyways. Training followed the same trend, we were promissed 'as many training sessions as you need' and the week before deployment we were told we only qualified for two training sessions. 

The tool is good, but take the sales pitch with a grain of salt and be ready to do most of the heavy lifting during deployments.

Note taking during calls using AI is a great benefit to us.

I feel the backend of the software is quite extensive and highly customizable which is a huge asset for organizations like ours that have a unique model. The customer service is also efficient and reliable.

Not much! The Zoom team chat is a great application but can use some tweaking/ updating for certain features.
