**What do you like best about Azure DevOps Labs?**

What I like most about Azure DevOps Labs is that it provides practical, hands-on learning rather than only focusing on theory. As a Senior Sitecore Developer, I find the labs useful for understanding how Azure DevOps can be effectively used for CI/CD, build and release pipelines, automated deployments, and overall DevOps practices.
The step-by-step approach and real-time examples make it easier to relate the learning with our actual Sitecore project requirements. It also helps in exploring new Azure DevOps features and improving the overall development and deployment process.

**What do you dislike about Azure DevOps Labs?**

One thing I feel can be improved in Azure DevOps Labs is that some labs are a bit lengthy and can take more time to complete, especially when we are trying to understand the concepts along with the practical steps. Some topics could also have more real-world examples, particularly for enterprise applications like Sitecore.
It would be helpful if the labs had more concise explanations, troubleshooting tips, and examples based on common project scenarios. Overall, the content is useful, but making some labs more focused and practical would improve the learning experience.

**What problems is Azure DevOps Labs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Azure DevOps Labs helps solve the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical implementation of DevOps processes. It gives me a better understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, source control, and release management.

**Describe the project or task Azure DevOps Labs helped with:**

Azure DevOps Labs offers a comprehensive platform for learning and applying DevOps practices through hands-on labs. The platform provides guided experiences with seamless integrations to Azure services and GitHub, allowing users to test real-world workflows. With reliable performance and free access to most labs, it ensures a high return on investment in terms of skills development. The AI-driven guidance and automation features enhance the learning experience by minimizing setup time and focusing on practical application.

**What do you like best about Azure DevOps Labs?**

What I like best about Azure DevOps Labs is that it makes learning DevOps practices very practical and hands‑on. The UI is simple and guided, so even complex scenarios feel easy to follow. Integrations with Azure services and GitHub work smoothly, which helps in testing real workflows without extra setup. Performance has been reliable, and labs run well even with multiple users. Pricing is not really a concern since most labs are free, and the ROI is clear in terms of skills gained. Onboarding is straightforward with step‑by‑step instructions, and support resources are available if you get stuck. The AI‑driven guidance and automation features make the labs smarter, helping you focus more on learning instead of spending time on setup.

**What do you dislike about Azure DevOps Labs?**

The main thing I dislike about Azure DevOps Labs is that some labs feel a bit outdated and the UI looks quite basic compared to modern training platforms. Integrations are smooth with Azure and GitHub, but support for third‑party tools is limited. Performance is mostly fine, though heavy scenarios sometimes take extra time to load. Support resources are available, but they could be more interactive and detailed. The AI guidance is useful, but at times it misses context, so you still need to double‑check steps on your own.

**Recommendations to others considering Azure DevOps Labs:**

To enhance the Azure DevOps Labs experience, it would be beneficial to update some of the older labs and modernize the UI to match current training platforms. Expanding support for third-party tools would also be advantageous. Making support resources more interactive and detailed could improve user experience. Additionally, refining AI guidance to better understand context would help users rely more on the automated instructions.

**What problems is Azure DevOps Labs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Azure DevOps Labs is solving the problem of learning DevOps only in theory by giving proper hands‑on practice. The guided UI and smooth integrations with Azure services make it easy to test real workflows without extra setup. Performance is steady enough for team exercises, and since most labs are free, the ROI is very clear in terms of skills gained. Onboarding is simple with step‑by‑step instructions, and support material helps when stuck. The AI‑driven guidance reduces setup effort, so I can focus more on applying DevOps practices directly in my projects.

**What do you like best about Azure DevOps Labs?**

I like the modern integrations in Azure DevOps, especially with AI, AKS, and other Azure services. The UI feels clean and is easy to navigate, and the overall performance and scalability work well as projects grow. The AI capabilities also help developers with day-to-day tasks and automation, which makes routine work smoother. Onboarding is straightforward, and the documentation makes it easier for teams to get started and stay aligned. Overall, the platform’s capabilities provide good value and ROI for development teams.

**What do you dislike about Azure DevOps Labs?**

One challenge is keeping up with new features and replacing deprecated tools, which can sometimes push teams to migrate sooner than expected. There’s also a degree of dependency on Azure infrastructure, so when vendor flexibility matters, we need to abstract services accordingly. In addition, third-party integrations may require extra security reviews and configuration, which can make the overall setup more time-consuming.

**What problems is Azure DevOps Labs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Azure DevOps helps us reduce the complexity of managing multiple tools for IT management and CI/CD. Rather than juggling separate platforms and all their dependencies, we can handle development, deployment, and cloud services in a more unified environment. This tighter integration across Azure services streamlines our workflows and cuts down the time we spend maintaining different tools and platforms.

**What do you like best about Azure DevOps Labs?**

I find Azure DevOps Labs appealing since they offer practical, hands-on learning materials which make it easy to understand Azure DevOps concepts and put them into practice in real-world development and DevOps situations. The labs that are presented step by step are particularly useful when you want to learn at your own speed and gain experience with the tools by using them in practice.

**What do you dislike about Azure DevOps Labs?**

One thing I don’t really like about Azure DevOps Labs is that, some of the labs can feel kinda lengthy or a little out dated, especially when the Azure DevOps features and the actual interfaces change. It’d be helpful if the labs get refreshed more often too, and if the guidance is more clear, like what to look for in the latest UI and features. Right now it sometimes feels like you’re bouncing around, a bit, and you have to figure out the “new version” details yourself.

**What problems is Azure DevOps Labs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the biggest challenges of learning Azure DevOps is getting practical, hands-on experience, not just theory, and Azure DevOps Labs helps with that. The guided labs break down difficult concepts and provide a safe space to practice real-world DevOps workflows. This helps me in developing practical skills in a shorter time, gaining confidence in Azure DevOps tools and applying my learnings to real projects.

At G2, we prefer fresh reviews and we like to follow up with reviewers. They may not have updated their review text, but have updated their review.

**What do you like best about Azure DevOps Labs?**

What I like most about Azure DevOps Labs is that I can relate the exercises to the development work I do regularly. I found the labs particularly useful when working through sprint planning, creating and updating work items, managing Git branches and pull requests, and understanding how CI/CD pipelines are used to move changes through QA and UAT. I also like that the labs explain the steps in a practical way instead of only covering the concepts. The Wiki and documentation exercises are helpful as well, especially for keeping technical notes and project information easy for the team to find.
In my current Project using Wiki, we documented the Project Modules so any onboarding Developers can easily follow to grab the Project related informations.

**What do you dislike about Azure DevOps Labs?**

One thing I find a little challenging is that some labs take quite a bit of time when they cover areas like advanced CI/CD pipelines, permissions, or repository setup. Since I already work with Azure DevOps, some of the basic steps can feel repetitive when going through the full lab. I think it would be useful to have separate learning paths based on experience level, so experienced users can move through the basics faster and spend more time on the advanced scenarios.

**What problems is Azure DevOps Labs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the main problems Azure DevOps Labs helps me with is understanding how the different parts of the development workflow fit together. The step-by-step interface makes it easier to learn Boards, Repos, Pull Requests, and Pipelines without spending too much time figuring out where to start. I can follow a complete scenario from planning a work item and assigning it to a sprint through code changes, review, build, and deployment.

I also find the integration between these areas useful because it shows how information moves across the development process. The guided labs make onboarding to new features easier, and the hands-on approach saves time compared with learning everything from documentation alone. Some of the AI-assisted features are also useful for getting a starting point for work items and documentation, although I still review the output before using it. Overall, the labs help reduce the time needed to understand a new workflow and make it easier to apply what I learn to my regular development work.

**What do you dislike about Azure DevOps Labs?**

Some labs feel a little longer than they need to be, especially when I already know the basics. I sometimes have to go through steps that don't add much value for me. Shorter instructions and more up-to-date examples for newer features would make the labs quicker and easier to complete.

**What problems is Azure DevOps Labs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using the labs, I usually had to search through several documentation pages to understand a new Azure DevOps feature. Now I can open a relevant lab, follow the steps, and test the feature myself. This is especially useful when I'm working on a development task and need to understand something quickly. It saves me time and makes experimenting with new features much easier.

**What do you like best about Azure DevOps Labs?**

I like that Azure Dev0ps Labs gives hands-on practice with real tools and workflows. As a beginner, it helped me understand how to use Azure DevOps step by step, especially for things like CI/CD pipelines/workflows, repositories, and Azure boards. The labs are guided and easy to follow, so I could learn by doing, not just reading. It made DevOps concepts much clearer for me.

**What do you dislike about Azure DevOps Labs?**

Limited error handling/Troubleshooting help,If something goes wrong during a script error or deployment failure, there is often a very little window of guidance on how to fix it. “troubleshooting tips” section would be useful.

**What problems is Azure DevOps Labs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Azure DevOps Labs solves the problem of learning Devops tools without needing a complex setup. As a fresher, I didn’t know where to start with data workflows, repos, or deployments. The labs gave me a ready-to-use environment with step-by-step instructions/guide. It helped me build confidence, understand real-time scenarios, and get hands-on experience that I can apply in real time actual projects.

**What do you like best about Azure DevOps Labs?**

Features code repositories features to store codes categorised accross multiple projects and also create pipelines for each project.
Pipelines can be triggered either manually when ever required or whenever a custom event is triggered.
Devops offers role based accesses and controls like minimum number of approvals required for merging pull request or adding locks on specifc branches and so on

**What do you dislike about Azure DevOps Labs?**

Unlike Jenkins, we can not explicitly define the virtual machines on which these pipelines actually run, thus making it hard to triage during bugs or failures.
Intgeration with thrid party tools like GitHub Desktop or Visual Studio is not always smooth and require re-authentication from time to time

**What problems is Azure DevOps Labs solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For deploying SaaS cloud instances, we use DevOps to run our automated test scripts and provision environments instead of a manual approach, this saves us time and chances of manual error are significantly reduced.
Code repositories also enable us a destination where multiple developers can colloborate and contribute together.
