**What do you like best about deskbird?**

Deskbird is incredibly easy to use and quick to implement. The user interface is clean and intuitive, so our team had no trouble adapting to it. Booking desks, checking who’s in the office, and managing our hybrid schedules has become much more organized. The setup process was smooth, and the customer support team was responsive and helpful throughout. We use Deskbird daily, and it has become an essential part of our flexible work routine. It also integrates well with our existing tools, which helped minimize disruption during the transition.

**What do you dislike about deskbird?**

While Deskbird covers the key features we need, there are a few areas where it could offer more customization—for example, in analytics and reporting. Occasionally, we’ve experienced minor syncing issues with calendar integrations, but they’re usually resolved quickly. The platform is feature-rich, but we’d like to see more frequent updates or feature additions to match evolving hybrid work needs.

**What problems is deskbird solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Deskbird is helping us solve the challenges of managing a hybrid work environment. Before using it, we struggled with coordinating who would be in the office on which days, desk availability, and ensuring meeting spaces were used efficiently. Deskbird centralizes all of this in one easy-to-use platform, allowing our team to plan their in-office days, book desks in advance, and see where their colleagues are sitting.
This has reduced scheduling conflicts, improved collaboration, and helped us make better use of our office space. It’s also reduced admin time and made our hybrid work model smoother and more transparent for everyone.

**What do you like best about deskbird?**

As an Administrator, I found the platform incredibly easy to set up. The reporting tools are useful, and we retain a large amount of control in carving out how we wish to utilise the application, instead of relying on Deskbird to makes changes for us. Account and Technical support is always available and prompt.  

As a User, it's just as easy to navigate through the application - both the desktop and mobile apps are incredibly easy to use. There is value in each feature, so we find ourselves utilising so much of them on a daily basis.  

We are enjoying the geofencing (beta) feature currently. Not having to remember to check in further promotes efficiency.

**What do you dislike about deskbird?**

I struggle to find an issue with the application itself. However, I don't enjoy receiving emails prompting me to book for the upcoming week when there are already bookings in place. Perhaps an email notification could only be sent when Deskbird bookings show as 'empty' for the week ahead instead?

**What problems is deskbird solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before COVID-19, we each had individual desk space. With more associates than available desks, we've adopted a hybrid work model and a hot desk approach. Deskbird lets associates book desks in advance, choose locations that foster collaboration, and track their office days to ensure they hit their minimum in-office requirements.

The data analytics reporting allows us to keep an eye on our growth. As our desk utilisation goes up in number, the data will support future conversations regarding plans to extend our facility etc.

We were happy all the time. One issue was, at times some functions would not work such as not being to extract a report from history. but the issue would be resolved usually in one working day by the team.

I like that it offers full integration with apps I already use at work such as teams, Google Calendar, etc. It makes it so much easier to use!

I think it could provide more in depth analytics and reporting since it offers more basic analytics but not that insightful.

Can be a bit difficult to manage in real life, in case an emergency happens or the room is suddenly not available

It's solving an organizational issue that is still done by outdated technology (such as excel), cuts time spent and gets a clear picture to the user

The 3D floor plan, detailed analytics and event feature are really nice. The admin panel is ver easy to use, and the help center tidy and well structued. The customer support is very quick and solutio oriented.

**What do you dislike about deskbird?**

So far you can't "close" the office on certain days (renovation etc.) and block the booking entries. A workarroud can't be scheduled.

**What problems is deskbird solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Solve the problem of desk booking and planing in the attence in advance. Analytics and remote policy benefit us to gain transparency. Event feature benefits the joy of beeing in the office with collegues.

Very good tool for room booking. The tool offers all the functions to make a room or table bookable by default. The establishment of a room plan is possible without any precedents.

**What do you dislike about deskbird?**

We would like to see more setting options such as e-mail text presets or attachments to e-mails.

**What problems is deskbird solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem of room overcrowding and filling Excel lists for planning has become obsolete with the use of the tool.

**What do you like best about deskbird?**

I use the app 2-3 times per week both from mobile and desktop.  It is user-friendly and visually nice and easy. Also well-optimized form mobile. At the beginning it was easy to implement. Compared to another app I used in my previous job, this one is definitely better.

**What do you dislike about deskbird?**

I do not like the check-in coming only at the specific time frame. Not possible to put by default the preferred desk to be booked or offered automaticaIly if available. I don't particularly appreciate that the app still offers me the table I'm not particularly eager to book as the first option - it should learn from the previous bookings and know my preferred desk. Despite easy implementation at the beginnning, we had some issues with no integration between outlook and DeskBird booking but this has been fixed. Before fixing, it was causing double bookings and it was complicated to organise meeting in our office. Thanks for the support team for fixing it and for offering a compensation.

We can see what colleagues are attending from our teams to better plan team meetings. We see general office occupancy for evaluating.

The real-time availability feature ensures we always have the latest information, reducing the chances of double bookings. Additionally, the integration with our existing calendar system has streamlined our scheduling process, saving us a lot of time. 

Onboarding for users has been exceptionally easy - everyone is loving the new system and raves about how easy it is to use! People also love the interactive floor plan view that lets them see who's sitting where in the office. Another popular feature is the meeting room schedule view that lets staff see the availability of all meeting rooms in the office - previously users would have to add the room calendars to their outlook calendar view one by one and then remove them again. Coupled with the Outlook two-way-sync, users have now started booking teams meetings and sending invites to colleagues directly from deskbird!

The mobile app coupled with QR codes on desks has also been a game changer, the app itself is very stable and has great feature parity with the web/teams app.

**What do you dislike about deskbird?**

The biggest gripe for end users is having to manually set their schedule for each day of the week. We'd love to see the ability to set a recurring schedule for staff in future, as many of our staff have set WFH and Office days each week. 

One feature we had issues with was the check-in policy cancelling meetings for staff. Often staff would have booked a room for a face to face catchup - typically in these instances staff would not bring a laptop with them and find that their meeting had been automatically cancelled. Thankfully Deskbird support were able to manually disable the check-in requirement for meeting rooms while still having it enabled for desks as this was best for our use case. It would be great to have the option to set this check-in requirement for desks vs meeting rooms ourselves in the admin panel, or even have it toggleable per resource in future!

Deskbird has significantly improved our workspace management by providing real-time availability of desks and meeting rooms, which reduces the risk of double bookings and streamlines scheduling. It helps to book a workspace in the office. We are working in the co-working mode without dedicated workplaces. I can choose the place on the map or just from the list. The same option for meeting rooms. Deskbird supports integration with Google Calendar. I use it at least twice a month, because I don't get to the very often.

QR code registration on the Android app doesn't always work well. At least, on Samsung A52 :)
I miss instant registration when I can just scan the QR code on a free desk in the office and instantly create a booking with registration.

It somehow doesn't remember my time. It always uses the default booking time 7-22 but if I keep coming on Thursday just 12-17, I either need to change the time manually (annoying) or to book the whole day, which is unefficient. I think sometimes the selected time stays but then it is reset to default 7-22. I'd appreciate configurable default booking time for each day of week.

I didn't like that all notifications were on by default. I don't need to receive an email about an action I have just done myself. I can see all my bookings anytime in the app, I don't need several emails about it. This gave me bad first impression about deskbird until I found out the notifications are configurable

The fact that many clicks are needed to get the right time for my working day. At the moment, when I book a desk, it automatically books it from 9:00 to 19:00. Sometimes I'm in office at 9:10, meaning I'm too late to check in and someone else might have booked the desk. I would like the checking to start at 9:00 and end half an hour later. I would even like it more to be able to set a default booking time my own. Not everyone schedule is the same.

From the day-to-day perspective I would say the best is how smooth the desk booking experience is. This is also the number 1 use case so it really makes up the most of what you as the user do - and enjoy - every day. The feeling when you booking is automatically confirmed, set in stone, and you know that once you get into the office you will have you cosy little place to work, is heartwarming. And if anything goes wrong, deskbird's awesome customer support is there for you.

We had some initial problems with implementation as we really needed to integrate with our legacy systems and required lots of features. But apparently this was not something deskbird's team wouldn't be apt of. Still we sometimes struggle with calendar synchronization - however, this may as well be problem on our side.

We needed a solution to digitize and unify our system for managing desk utilization and meeting rooms booking. At the begining, we faced a lot of issue regarding integrations. Support team was very slow regarding solutions, but very responsive. In time Deskbird team focused on all our feedbacks, and produce permanent solutions on our issues.

Taking out the dislikes, I pretty much everything else about Deskbird. Following team mates and being able to do check ins is great.

I would suggest making it easier to put the image of an office area. Maybe have some default desk and chair images and some sort of way we can build out office space areas rather than having to do this via Paint or some other software.

Also, deskbird on Teams does not follow the change in window size, and so we have to make the window bigger to accomodate for scheduling and booking. There is no scroll bar to help with managing Deskbird on a smaller screen size.

Have encountered a few bugs related to Outlook calendars after using for a couple months: 

- When a user books a desk with access restricted to them from the schedule tab, deskbird will send a calendar entry for the wrong date to the user's email. Support tells me they have been working on a fix for this for the last 2 months. 

- Importing meeting rooms from Outlook does not work well. Importing our first 2 meeting rooms from Outlook was a struggle. After a week or so I tried to import a 3rd meeting room from Outlook, and it broke the calendar synchronization of all of our meeting rooms. I have tried deleting and re-importing all of our meeting rooms, disabling and re-enabling Microsoft calendar sync, but now all of our meeting rooms refuse to sync with their Outlook calendars once imported.

What I appreciate most about deskbird is that it made sure that all the seats were filled with people on (almost) every day. The ease of use and the nice interface were immediately accepted and utilised. All the necessary functions are there (finding people's places, number of employees on the day, bookings, etc.). Meeting rooms and car parks are also easy to book.

**What do you dislike about deskbird?**

I'm not convinced by the analytics area, although I couldn't specifically name what bothers me about it. Compared to the other features, however, I am underwhelmed. 

In addition, deskbird is reasonably priced in line with the other offers. Compared to the price of tools that we use all day to earn money, I think the whole segment is a bit too high for one booking in the morning ;-)

As already mentioned in the "I like it" section, all employees accepted and used the tool immediately and the introduction was therefore very easy. It is very rare that someone sits in a seat without a booking. This shows me that people really enjoy using the app.

I'm definitely excited about the UX/UI of the whole environment. Everything is simple, clear and works in a few clicks. Syncing with third party calendars is a must have for me - although I still struggle a bit with the setup -therefore  I'm glad this feature is present. In general though, the automation of the process and the minimal need to write repeated requests to reserve a spot is a deal-breaker for me.

As I said - syncing the app to my native calendars wasn't completely seamless but it was mainly a problem on my part. Most of the problems I have are related to colleagues using the app incorrectly, so I have minimal complaints about the app itself. We need employees to book desks so we don't have overcrowding in the office - as an office manager it makes my life easy to not have to do this myself.

**What do you like best about deskbird?**

The layout / room planning and desk allocation works really well.
Uploading a office layout and dragging and dropping the rooms and desks was easy and even looked good after on the app.

**What do you dislike about deskbird?**

The lack of a geolocation automated check in function.

We used touse a google sheet to book our hybrid working desks, it was tedious and uninspiring.

* Journey for booking desks could be better.

**What do you like best about deskbird?**

Our office is set up as "hot desks" where any employee can sit at any desk. being able to easily book with deskbird makes this system work without issue. 

Deskbird also supports web, android, ios, and a plugin for the teams app meaning it was very easy to get employee buy-in.

Office plan creation is easy and with JIT and SCIM integration it really is a set-and-forget solution. 

Can't recommend more!!

**What do you dislike about deskbird?**

Some to the UI choice can be a little un-intuitive but once you get used to it even our least tech savvy staff member use it effectively

Hybrid work environment for booking WFH days as well as office space booking

You need to remind yourself regularly to check in your booking, and sometimes, the Calendar entry can be redundant in Outlook.

DeskBird allows every Employee to efficiently manage their Office Workplace management, from the Parking Slot to the Desk and Room booking.

The configuration of the map of the office is really nice. This really help our company to use our spaces in the best way. As admins we are always updated on how much our office is used, and on how frequently people are coming.

**What do you dislike about deskbird?**

Nothing in particular, the tool is very useful

**What problems is deskbird solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With deskbird we know how many desks are available every day. In our office there is no space for everyone at the same time, as we work most of the time from home. Knowing who is coming to the office, and if there is a free desk, really help our organisation, especially in terms of space.
