Employees rely heavily on the mobile self-service portal to submit leave, check payslips and update personal info, slashing repetitive routine enquiries landing in my team’s inbox. Automated payroll math removes the constant risk of miscalculations we faced with manual Excel sheets. I also value the native activity log feature; it captures every change to personnel files, making it far faster to compile evidence for works council and DSGVO audits. Custom tiered approval chains match our company’s internal sign-off structure perfectly, and the built-in LMS lets us upload mandatory HR compliance training and track who has finished required modules without manual follow-ups. While the core HR functions are strong, the platform still feels incomplete from a full people-development perspective. Everything around payroll, attendance, and day-to-day administration is well supported, but there’s no built-in Learning Management System (LMS) within their own ecosystem. For an HR function that’s trying to move beyond administration into capability building, that absence creates a real gap.

As a result, we still have to rely on external platforms for training and development, which interrupts the experience and makes it harder to maintain the flow of a truly integrated people system.

Mekari Talenta mainly addresses three core HR problems: fragmentation, heavy manual workload, and a lack of visibility. If I want to request leave / off day, I simply upload a form and wait for my supervisor's approval. Through Mekari Talenta, I can also view my work scheduleand view all employees in my company.

No issue, everything is good and the interface is user friendly. Location precision is also very accurate. Face verification during attendance is easy.

As I use Talenta every day in weekdays, I really appreciate the convenience of being able to manage attendance and leave from anywhere, at any time. In the past, I had to handle attendance and leave requests through our internal HR website on a computer, which was often slow. Now, with talenta, everything is much simpler and faster. The first onboarding was also smooth and easy to understand for employees in all ages.

At times, the geotag feature can be somewhat inaccurate and is slow to update when transitioning between different areas.

**What problems is Mekari Talenta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before I started using Mekari Talenta, managing attendance, leave, and other HR tasks required logging into the office's internal system on a computer, which was only accessible at the workplace. The website was sluggish, and the process felt unnecessarily complicated. With Talenta, I can now handle everything easily from my smartphone, no matter where I am or what time it is. This has made the whole process far more efficient and convenient.

Sometimes, when we are need customizable payroll component, it takes many days to process. In attendance configuration, there is some function that we cannot customize by ourself, for example approval line for time off in Employee menu.

As someone leading a team of writers: people who thrive on creativity, flexible thinking, and deep work — finding a system that supports both productivity and people management is not easy. But after using Mekari Talenta for over a year, I can confidently say it has made team management smoother and much more transparent.

While Talenta isn’t a communication tool per se, it indirectly improves how we work together. Because admin tasks are automated, I can focus more on mentoring writers and improving content quality, instead of chasing paperwork. That alone has made our team culture more collaborative and less bureaucratic.

**What do you dislike about Mekari Talenta?**

I do wish Talenta offered deeper project-based insights. For instance, linking attendance or tasks to specific content projects. It would help in analyzing workload and productivity across projects. Also, the notification system could be smarter; sometimes updates get buried in the app.

**What problems is Mekari Talenta solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With Talenta, clock-in flexibility and real-time attendance tracking help me monitor everyone’s activity without micromanaging. It gives writers the freedom they need, while still maintaining accountability.

The leave request system is another huge plus. Instead of endless chats or emails, everyone can simply submit time-off requests through the app. Approvals take seconds, not hours, which saves me valuable time every week.
