## Claude Code Reviews
  ### 1. Claude Code: pay to waste time, tokens, and lose control of your own project

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Claude Code?**

absolutely nothing from the sea.from and from the sea.from

**What do you dislike about Claude Code?**

Claude Code respects the instructions and the requested scope very poorly. Even when I clearly specify to only touch a specific part of the project, it can analyze or perform actions that I never requested. The worst part is the quota consumption: in my experience, it has already consumed about 95% of my available usage in just a few minutes, sometimes around 3 minutes, for a supposedly limited task. It is necessary to constantly monitor what it does to prevent it from going in the wrong direction. This leads to a waste of time, excessive token consumption, and makes the cost of the service difficult to justify. Additionally, the support is extremely difficult to contact when a billing or consumption issue arises. For a paid tool intended for developers, I find this level of control and reliability frankly insufficient.

**What problems is Claude Code solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Honestly, in my experience, **Claude Code doesn't solve problems: it creates new ones**.

I use it to save time in development, but I regularly end up having to **monitor what it does, correct its unsolicited initiatives, and make up for lost time**. Even with very precise instructions, it can go beyond the requested scope and consume a ridiculous amount of quota. I've already seen **about 95% of my available usage disappear in a few minutes**, sometimes around 3 minutes, without proportional results.

The supposed productivity gain thus becomes the opposite: more manual control, more checks, more tokens consumed, and more frustration.

And when a financial or consumption issue arises, accessing real human support is unnecessarily complicated.

For me, **the net benefit is close to zero**. A paid development tool that requires constant monitoring to prevent it from doing anything other than what is asked of it is precisely missing its main function.

**If G2 allowed a 0/10 rating, that would be my score.**

  ### 2. A coding assistant that actually works inside my project

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**What do you like best about Claude Code?**

It works inside my actual project — reads the whole codebase, edits real files, runs my build and git commands in the terminal, not just spitting out snippets. On Windows with a custom WordPress theme it follows my BEM/SCSS conventions across sessions, and the custom skills I built for repetitive studio work save me hours. It verifies its own changes before saying "done." Daily driver now.

**What do you dislike about Claude Code?**

It's Mac-first — on Windows some skills and tooling assume macOS paths, so I hit the occasional snag. The top model gets expensive on long sessions, so I watch scope. Permission prompts are good for safety but interrupt flow until you tune what's auto-allowed. And it can be confidently wrong, so I review anything important before shipping — it's a tool you drive, not autopilot

**What problems is Claude Code solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a small studio I'm constantly switching between WordPress dev, SEO, and client work. Claude Code keeps each project's context, conventions, and architecture, so I resume any task instantly instead of reloading it in my head. I've also baked our repeatable workflows — content, deploys, changelogs — into custom skills, which turns afternoon-long jobs into kick-off-and-review. I ship faster and handle more clients without hiring.

  ### 3. Great VSCode Plugin Integration for Terminal, Git, and Model Selection

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** July 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Claude Code?**

It can interact with other plugins in VSCode. I can run commands in the terminal and check Git commits as well.
As the web version has all models and effort to decide the right cost for your task.

The quality of the code it creates is fantastic. Specially on Opus and Fable models.

**What do you dislike about Claude Code?**

The way file changes are handled feels awkward. Compared with Copilot, it’s less comfortable to review what changed. In Copilot, you can see changes block by block and decide whether to keep them, modify them, or remove them, and you can do the same at the full-file level. In Claude code, I don’t have that option; the only way I’ve found is to check the Git changes.

(If there is another way… if there is one, it definitely isn’t intuitive.)

**What problems is Claude Code solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As an AI co-coder, it now lets me code up to 50 times faster. Even Claude can make changes while I’m typing other things. It also explains source code I’ve never seen before much more quickly than before, when I had to read most of the files just to understand the flow.

  ### 4. Repository-Wide Context That Supercharges Debugging, Refactoring, and Multi-File Changes

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Supriya S. | SDET, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Current User:** The reviewer uploaded a screenshot or submitted the review in-app verifying them as current user.

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through a business email account

**Source: G2 invite:** Invitation from G2. This reviewer was not provided any incentive by G2 for completing this review.

**Reviewed Date:** July 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Claude Code?**

The most valuable feature is its repository-wide context awareness. When working on automation frameworks or backend services, Claude Code can understand how different modules interact and suggest changes that fit naturally into the existing codebase rather than generating isolated code fragments. The biggest benefit is productivity. It significantly reduces the time spent understanding unfamiliar code, debugging complex issues, and implementing new features, allowing me to focus more on system design, testing, and delivering high-quality software. What I like most about Claude Code is its ability to understand an entire codebase and make meaningful code changes instead of just suggesting isolated snippets. It excels at repository-level reasoning, making it especially useful for debugging, refactoring, and implementing features across multiple files. Excellent understanding of large, multi-file projects and complex architectures. Strong reasoning for debugging, refactoring, and code reviews. Generates clean, maintainable code that follows existing project patterns. Helps explain unfamiliar code and architecture with clear reasoning. Reduces repetitive development tasks while maintaining context across conversations.

**What do you dislike about Claude Code?**

While Claude Code is one of the strongest AI coding tools I've used, there are a few areas where I think it could improve. It can occasionally make broad refactoring changes that require careful review before merging. For very large repositories, response time can increase as more context is processed. It sometimes needs additional prompting to strictly follow an existing project's coding standards or architectural patterns. Generated code still requires validation for edge cases, performance, and security. Integration with some development tools and CI/CD workflows could be more seamless.

**What problems is Claude Code solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Claude Code to build and maintain automation frameworks, write API and UI test cases, review pull requests, troubleshoot failing test suites, and understand unfamiliar repositories. It helps me identify issues faster and implement solutions with significantly less manual effort. The biggest benefit is developer productivity. Tasks that previously required hours of reading code, researching documentation, and debugging can often be completed much faster, allowing me to focus on designing better test strategies and delivering high-quality software rather than repetitive implementation work. Claude Code solves the problem of understanding, modifying, and maintaining large codebases. Instead of manually tracing code across dozens of files or spending hours understanding an unfamiliar project, it analyzes the repository, explains the architecture, and helps implement changes while preserving the existing code structure. Accelerates feature development and bug fixing across large codebases. Simplifies debugging by analyzing logs, stack traces, and related source files together. Generates boilerplate code, tests, and documentation automatically. Assists with refactoring while following existing project patterns. Reduces context switching by handling code analysis, implementation, and explanation in one workflow.

  ### 5. Top-Notch AI Intelligence with Great Plugins and Easy Onboarding

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vipul G. | Senior Software Engineer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Current User:** The reviewer uploaded a screenshot or submitted the review in-app verifying them as current user.

**Reviewed Date:** July 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Claude Code?**

I like the models response and their harness based on the context we provide. UI is also good if we use it with the desktop app, but I like to use via terminal. It provides various plugins to integrate google workspace, slack and tickets tools like GUS. We can also create a our own internal marketplace to use the tools we create for our org. Performance is great if we use higher grade models like opus and other models perform good in day to day task or if using ultracode feature. Pricing is hight if using your personal subscription based on the tokens and context window it provides. But since their AI intelligence is top notch we can accept that. Onboarding is very easy and learning curve is not much, they provided good docs to know their internals.

**What do you dislike about Claude Code?**

Just its context window, if using higher grade models its context gets full very easily, though it can auto compact but then chances of hallucination is more. I million context model is very pricey.

**What problems is Claude Code solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is benefiting me a lot of ways like, creating POCs instead of just debating over design docs and spikes. Also helping me write docs and code on daily basis.

  ### 6. Familiar UI That Eases Onboarding while Retaining Technical Strength

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Chukwudi I. | Webmaster, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Source: G2 invite:** Invitation from G2. This reviewer was offered a nominal gift card as thank you for completing this review.

**Reviewed Date:** July 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Claude Code?**

The ability to select different models, integrate with different MCPs and, through the VS Code editor, provide a familiar (if not truly similar) UI to Claude's main application is of significant benefit to non-technical users while not dampening any of the technical strength and on system performance (vs. Cowork, et. al.) for technical users, minimizing the onboarding curve for users new to tech or AI.

**What do you dislike about Claude Code?**

It does give a bit less depth into the thinking of the model, at least how I have seen in configured. It also does not seem to use workers as readily or transparently as Cowork, increasing its cost for work that could be seamlessly offloaded to lighter and more inexpensive models.

**What problems is Claude Code solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It transforms time for various tasks into hours instead of days in many cases while still following a process I can understand and trace, minimizing the issues and flaws.

  ### 7. Clean, Structured Coding Help That Boosts Productivity

It understands coding requirements well, provides clean and structured solutions, and often helps identify bugs that can be difficult to find manually. I also appreciate how it explains the logic behind its suggestions, making it easier to learn and improve as a developer. Overall, it saves time, improves productivity, and is a valuable tool for solving coding challenges and troubleshooting issues.

**What do you dislike about Claude Code?**

There is not much to dislike about Claude Code. The main thing I would like to see added is support for image generation and visual content creation. Other than that, it is a very useful tool for coding, debugging, and problem-solving.

**What problems is Claude Code solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Claude Code helps solve a variety of development challenges, including writing code, debugging issues, understanding complex logic, and finding solutions to technical problems quickly. Instead of spending hours searching through documentation or troubleshooting errors manually, I can get guidance and suggestions in minutes. This has improved my productivity, reduced development time, and helped me focus more on building features rather than getting stuck on bugs or implementation details. It is especially useful for learning new technologies, optimizing code, and resolving issues during active development.

**What do you like best about Claude Code?**

What I like most about Claude Code is its ability to understand large codebases and complex development tasks with strong context awareness. Unlike many coding assistants that focus primarily on code completion, Claude Code is particularly helpful for code analysis, refactoring, debugging, and generating well-structured solutions. Strong understanding of multi-file projects and code relationships. Helpful for debugging and explaining existing code. Generates clean, readable, and maintainable code suggestions. Assists with refactoring and improving code quality. Handles complex development and automation tasks with minimal prompting. The most valuable feature is its ability to work with larger contexts. When dealing with automation frameworks, APIs, or existing projects, Claude Code can understand the broader architecture and provide suggestions that fit the overall codebase rather than just generating isolated snippets. The biggest benefit is productivity. It reduces the time spent understanding unfamiliar code, writing boilerplate logic, and troubleshooting issues, allowing developers and QA engineers to focus on solving higher-level problems.

**What do you dislike about Claude Code?**

Its ability to understand large codebases, assist with debugging, and generate high-quality code makes it one of the most useful AI-powered development tools I've worked with. The biggest limitation is that AI-generated code should never be accepted blindly. While Claude Code can significantly accelerate development and troubleshooting, I still review the logic, edge cases, security considerations, and maintainability before incorporating it into a project.

**What problems is Claude Code solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Claude Code solves the problem of time-consuming development tasks such as understanding unfamiliar code, writing boilerplate code, debugging issues, and navigating large codebases. Instead of manually analyzing every file or searching through documentation, I can use Claude Code to accelerate these activities. Speeds up code development and implementation. Helps understand existing codebases and project structures more quickly. Assists with debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis. Reduces the effort required to write repetitive or boilerplate code. Supports refactoring and code quality improvements. In my day-to-day work as an SDET, I use Claude Code for automation framework development, API testing utilities, debugging test failures, and reviewing implementation approaches. It helps me move from idea to working solution much faster while still allowing me to validate the final output. The biggest benefit is productivity. Tasks that previously required significant research, coding, and troubleshooting time can often be completed much faster, allowing me to focus more on design, testing strategy, and solving complex problems rather than routine implementation work.

**What do you like best about Claude Code?**

Claude Code is very easy to use, and it’s been genuinely helpful for my everyday tasks. I’ve used Claude Code on several small projects, and it has supported me a lot with day-to-day work.

It’s a big advantage for people in the IT industry, since they can benefit from it in many different ways.

**What do you dislike about Claude Code?**

There isn’t much I dislike about Claude Code; I really like it overall.

That said, it uses tokens a lot, so you do need to learn a few basics before you start using it.

**What problems is Claude Code solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It answers my questions and even helps me fix things when I get stuck. I’ve used it to write scripts for my YouTube channel, to write code for my tools (vibe coding), and to automate several tasks.

  ### 10. From Debugging to Deployment: A Powerful AI Agent for Modern Development

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** rushikesh d. | Techical product manager, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through LinkedIn

**Source: Organic:** Organic review. This review was written entirely without invitation or incentive from G2, a seller, or an affiliate.

**Reviewed Date:** August 31, 2026

**What do you like best about Claude Code?**

The thing I like most is how well Claude Code works with an existing codebase. I can point it at a project and ask it to investigate an issue or implement a feature without manually collecting and pasting dozens of files into a chat. That makes a big difference when working on larger projects.

UI/UX is simple but effective. The terminal-first approach initially feels different from a traditional coding assistant, but once I'm comfortable with it, I like being able to see what it's doing, review proposed changes, and control which actions it can perform. The VS Code extension also makes the experience more accessible for developers who prefer working inside an IDE.

Integrations are another strong point. Claude Code fits naturally into Git-based workflows and can work with terminals, development tools, VS Code, and other parts of the development environment. Features such as hooks, subagents, background tasks, and the Agent SDK also make it possible to build more advanced workflows around it.

For performance, I've found it particularly strong on larger tasks where the AI needs to inspect several files, reason about the existing architecture, make changes, and then test them. It's not always the fastest option for a simple question, but for multi-step development work, its ability to keep working through a problem is more valuable than simply generating a quick response. Anthropic has also reported that long-running Claude Code sessions have become substantially more capable over time.

The pricing/ROI is good when I'm using it for tasks that would otherwise take a significant amount of manual development time. If it can reduce a few hours of debugging, refactoring, or boilerplate work, the value is pretty obvious. Anthropic also provides usage analytics and spending controls for teams, which makes it easier to understand adoption and manage costs.

Support and onboarding are generally good. The documentation explains the basic workflow clearly, and the tool itself doesn't take very long to start using. The bigger learning curve comes from understanding how to work effectively with an AI coding agent rather than simply asking an AI questions.

The AI/intelligence is obviously the main reason I use Claude Code. What stands out to me is its ability to reason across a project rather than treating every request as an isolated code-generation task. It's particularly useful for debugging unfamiliar code, understanding architecture, and making coordinated changes across multiple files. Anthropic's own engineering reports also describe Claude Code being used for increasingly autonomous coding and debugging workflows.

**What do you dislike about Claude Code?**

The biggest issue is that more autonomy also means more responsibility for reviewing the result. Claude Code can modify multiple files and execute commands, so I don't blindly accept everything it does. For important changes, I still review the diff and run the relevant tests myself.

The UI/UX can take some getting used to if you're coming from an IDE-based AI assistant. The terminal interface is powerful, but it can feel less intuitive initially, especially when a task becomes long and Claude is performing many operations.

With integrations, most development workflows fit naturally, but advanced configurations can become complicated. Permissions, hooks, MCP servers, subagents, environment variables, and project-specific tooling give you a lot of flexibility, but they also introduce more things that can go wrong.

For performance, there is a trade-off between intelligence and speed. More complex reasoning can take longer, and Anthropic has acknowledged cases where higher reasoning effort caused very long latency and increased usage. They have since adjusted defaults and added different effort levels to balance quality, latency, and usage.

Pricing/ROI is also something I pay attention to. Agentic coding can consume considerably more usage than asking a simple question because Claude may inspect files, reason through several steps, execute commands, and iterate on the solution. For teams, having spend controls and usage analytics helps, but individuals still need to be aware of how much they are using it.

Support and onboarding are good for normal usage, but advanced workflows have a learning curve. Once I start using things like hooks, MCP, subagents, permissions, and automated workflows, I need to understand more about how Claude Code operates instead of simply treating it as a chatbot.

For AI/intelligence, the biggest limitation is that it isn't consistently correct. It can make a technically plausible change that doesn't actually fit the project's architecture or introduce a subtle bug. I get the best results when I treat it as an experienced coding assistant that needs review rather than an autonomous developer I can completely hand the project to.

**What problems is Claude Code solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Compared with using Claude through a normal browser chat, Claude Code is much more useful for actual software development because it can work directly with the repository, inspect files, edit code, run commands, and verify its work.

Compared with traditional autocomplete tools, I find Claude Code much more useful for larger multi-file tasks. Autocomplete is excellent when I already know what I'm writing; Claude Code is more useful when I want help figuring out how the existing project should be changed.

The trade-off is that Claude Code requires more oversight because it has much more ability to actually change the project.
Claude Code has reduced the amount of time I spend on repetitive development work such as debugging, refactoring, writing boilerplate, understanding unfamiliar code, and implementing changes across multiple files.

The biggest benefit isn't that it replaces development work. It's that it reduces the time spent on the mechanical parts of development. Tasks that previously involved manually searching through a codebase and moving between files can often be handled much faster.

For teams, the potential ROI is even more interesting because Claude Code can help developers become productive in unfamiliar parts of a codebase and reduce the time spent on repetitive engineering tasks.

  ### 11. Opens up more speculative experiments to less technically able team members.

**What do you like best about Claude Code?**

I like that claude code is multi-modal - the best improvement of late was having the web based version.

This has opened up the product to a broader audience and how we have less technical people on our team able to use it.

We are able to link it to github and then to vercel (via github) and clause on the web then has the complete ability to build and deploy simple applications that would have costs thousands.

**What do you dislike about Claude Code?**

The downside is that you can hit limits and it's not always transparent where these are. I personally have never hit them, but a team member of mine hit them on their first day. I think guidance on how close you are and how to be more efficient should be added to help people be more aware.

**What problems is Claude Code solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It has enabled our marketing to try things and build things which before we would have required dev time, or budget, which they may not have received. This means we can do more speculative work which might have payoffs.

  ### 12. The coding tool that finally stays in my terminal

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kunwar H. | Founder, CEO, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through LinkedIn

**Source: Organic Review from User Profile:** Invitation from G2. This reviewer was not provided any incentive by G2 for completing this review.

**Reviewed Date:** August 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Claude Code?**

It works where I actually work, the terminal, not a separate chat window I have to copy-paste out of. I point it at my repo and it reads the files, makes the edit, runs the tests, and shows me the diff before anything lands. That last part is the thing I keep coming back to: I stay in control instead of pasting blind. I run a Next.js + Convex app and it holds the whole context across a lot of files, so I can say "add this route and wire it into the sitemap" and it actually does all three steps, not just the one I remembered to ask for. The plan-then-act mode is great for anything I don't want it improvising on. Honestly it has replaced most of the small-to-medium coding I used to context-switch into. For a solo founder the value is easy to justify. The subscription costs less than a rounding error against what the reclaimed time is worth, and on a good day it does the work of a junior engineer for the routine changes. The only real cost is the usage cap on heavy days, which is the one thing I would happily pay more to raise.

**What do you dislike about Claude Code?**

The usage limits are the main thing. On a heavy build day I hit the cap and have to wait it out, which breaks the flow right when I have momentum. It can also be a little too eager on big refactors, so I lean on the plan-first mode and review the diff rather than letting it run wide. Onboarding a brand-new repo takes a few tries to get the context right. None of it is a dealbreaker, but they are real.

**What problems is Claude Code solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It removes the context-switch between thinking about the code and writing the code. I describe the change in plain English and it does the multi-step work across files, then shows me the diff so I stay in control. As a founder shipping a Next.js + Convex product mostly solo, that is the difference between an idea shipping today versus next week. It has effectively given me a second engineer for the small-to-medium work, which lets me spend my own time on the parts that actually need a human.

  ### 13. Claude Code Speeds Up Complex React Native Work with Smart Codebase Understanding

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dhruv V. | React Native Developer intern, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through LinkedIn

**Source: Organic Review from User Profile:** Invitation from G2. This reviewer was not provided any incentive by G2 for completing this review.

**Reviewed Date:** August 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Claude Code?**

What I like best about Claude Code is its ability to understand a codebase and help with larger development tasks rather than just generating isolated code snippets. It is useful for debugging, refactoring, explaining existing code, and implementing features across multiple files. It can save significant time when working on complex React Native projects.

**What do you dislike about Claude Code?**

What I dislike about Claude Code is that it can sometimes make changes that need careful review, especially when working across multiple files. It can also misunderstand project-specific requirements or make assumptions about the existing codebase. I usually review and test its changes before committing them.

**What problems is Claude Code solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Claude Code helps me solve development problems such as debugging, refactoring, understanding existing code, and implementing features across multiple files. For React Native projects, it helps me work with the codebase more efficiently and reduces the time spent on repetitive coding and troubleshooting. This allows me to focus more on the overall functionality and user experience while still reviewing and testing the changes it makes.

  ### 14. Claude Code Streamlines Coding, Documentation, and Visual Learning

**Reviewed Date:** August 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Claude Code?**

Claude Code helps me with code completion, bug fixes, and documentation tasks like creating PDF or DOCX files. I can integrate Claude with my code editor, and then Claude Code can access my files and edit or update them easily. I just give a prompt, and Claude does the task.

Claude also helps me with deeper study of coding and other learning. It can generate output in graph form as well, which makes the results more visual, understandable, and attractive.

**What do you dislike about Claude Code?**

Everything is good overall; I just dislike the price and the free limit being too low. Otherwise, everything is working perfectly.

**What problems is Claude Code solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Claude Code removes a lot of the friction from manual code updates and tedious file management. Before using it, I often had to edit files by hand or copy and paste snippets just to apply bug fixes or update documentation. Now that it integrates directly with my code editor, Claude Code can access my repository, handle completions, fix bugs, and even generate documentation files (like PDF or DOCX) from simple prompts. On top of that, it helps me learn deeper coding concepts by producing clear, visual graph outputs that make ideas easier to understand.

**What do you like best about Claude Code?**

It treats me like a developer without requiring me to be one. I'm a photographer and content strategist by trade. I don't have an engineering background. But over the past year I've used Claude Code to build a proprietary WordPress plugin stack, a custom SEO diagnostic engine that connects to five different data APIs, and an entire custom directory platform for a tourism website, all of which are live and serving real users right now. The thing that separates Claude Code from every other AI coding tool I've tried is that it understands the full context of what you're building, not just the file you're looking at. It holds the architecture in its head, catches conflicts between components before they break, and writes code that actually works on the first or second pass more often than it has any right to. I spent two years trying to make off-the-shelf directory plugins work for my business and failing. Claude Code helped me build something better from scratch in a fraction of that time.

**What do you dislike about Claude Code?**

Two things, both manageable but worth knowing about.

First, drift. On longer or more complex projects, Claude Code can lose the thread of what you've already established and start making decisions that contradict earlier work. When you're building a plugin stack with multiple interconnected components, that means you sometimes have to re-explain context that should already be understood. It's not a dealbreaker, but it means you need to be assertive about holding the line on your architecture. The tool works best when you treat it like a very talented junior developer who occasionally needs to be reminded what was already decided.

Second, there's a tendency to reach for patches instead of solutions. When something breaks or a feature doesn't work as expected, the first instinct is sometimes to bandage the immediate symptom rather than address the underlying structure. I've learned to be specific about wanting root-cause fixes, not workarounds. Once you communicate that expectation clearly, the output quality goes up significantly. But it took some reps to figure out that I needed to ask for it that way.

Neither of these has stopped me from shipping real production software with the tool. They're just the learning curve of working with it effectively.

**What problems is Claude Code solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The core problem it solved is that I couldn't afford to hire a developer, but I needed developer-level output. I'm a one-person operation running a tourism directory, a marketing consultancy, and a photography business. Hiring a freelance developer to build what I've built with Claude Code would have cost tens of thousands of dollars and months of back-and-forth explaining what I wanted. Claude Code let me skip that entire process and build it myself, iterating in real time, adjusting as I went, and shipping production code the same week I started working on it.

Specific example: I spent two years and hundreds of hours trying to build a tourism directory on off-the-shelf WordPress plugins (Directorist, eDirectory, MyListing, and others). None of them could do what I needed without extensive workarounds, and major updates regularly destroyed my work. I eventually used Claude Code to build my own custom directory platform from scratch, plus a proprietary plugin stack for SEO and site optimization. The custom system has been running in production for months without a single update breaking it. The cost of my Claude subscription versus what I would have spent on a developer or continued plugin licenses is not even a comparison. The ROI is the highest of any software subscription I pay for.

The onboarding was intuitive enough that I was shipping real code within days, not weeks. No courses, no certifications, no bootcamp. I just described what I needed and started building.

**What do you like best about Claude Code?**

The slash commands. They leave me with the ability to combine the solutions to manual coding that claude code already combines, with a solution to the biggest problem I have with chatbots: conversation flow and context. What I mean by this, is that when you ask a question, the ai will take your string of words and run with it. In claude codes case, / commands let you specify your intent in the query and it really should be implemented into regular chats, such as /btw and /plan. Makes the workflow closer to a regular conversation

**What do you dislike about Claude Code?**

Nothing. If I had to say one thing I suppose it would be understanding of human unrefined thinking. If you have a rigorously structured and specified prompt, claude code can complete almost any task it is able to touch; however, LLMs are a complicated machine and isn’t able to “read my mind,” so to speak. I don’t expect it to, as in this situation I cannot fully express the extent of my thoughts. It Claude code could add some kind of form before building new products as a feature for beginners, I think it would really help bring clarity and individuality to vibe coders

**What problems is Claude Code solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The manual coding problem, the speed problem and the plan - iteration problem. Time, movement over time and time wasted were the coding industry’s biggest bottlenecks before claude code, and now with this product, productivity of an individual SWE has gone up tenfold.

**What do you like best about Claude Code?**

Lives in your terminal, which is great if you live there too - pity the best commands are buried where new users won't find them.

Plays beautifully with MCP, Skills, and your existing connector stack, though every MCP call quietly piles tokens onto the bill.

Genuinely strong on big refactors and the 1M context is no gimmick. Just pin your version, because v2.1.100+ has been burning tokens faster than it should.

Pro at $20 looks tempting but you'll blow through it in one serious session; Max or Team Premium is where the maths actually works.

Docs are good and the community fills the gaps, but onboarding is very much figure-it-out-yourself, and Anthropic's occasional tier experiments don't help procurement conversations.

Closest thing yet to working with an actual junior engineer rather than glorified autocomplete.

**What do you dislike about Claude Code?**

You get addicted to using it, and then you realize you can’t work without it.

**What problems is Claude Code solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mainly on coding and implementing best-practices to software engineering solutions.

  ### 18. Claude Code Excels at Big-Picture Reasoning and Clean, Natural Code

**Source: G2 invite:** Invitation from G2. This reviewer was not provided any incentive by G2 for completing this review.

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Claude Code?**

What I like most about Claude Code is how good it is at understanding larger context and structured thinking during development. It is especially useful for reviewing codebases, reasoning through architecture decisions, refactoring, and generating cleaner code with less back and forth. The responses also feel more natural and less robotic compared to many coding assistants.

**What do you dislike about Claude Code?**

One downside is how quickly it consumes tokens, especially on larger projects. It also tends to reread and rebuild context from scratch quite often, which can feel inefficient during long development sessions. While the reasoning quality is strong, context management and continuity could definitely be improved.

**What problems is Claude Code solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the problem of handling complex coding tasks with better reasoning and context awareness. I use it for architecture discussions, code reviews, debugging, refactoring, and turning rough product ideas into structured technical solutions. It helps me move faster with less mental overhead, especially when working on larger or more experimental projects.

  ### 19. Claude Code Makes Debugging and Understanding Complex Code Much Easier

**Reviewed Date:** May 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Claude Code?**

What I like best about Claude Code is how well it understands complex code and explains things in a natural way. The performance feels smooth even with larger code snippets, and it integrates nicely into modern development workflows. It also saves a lot of time during debugging and refactoring, so the productivity value is really good. The onboarding experience is simple, and the responses are detailed enough that beginners and experienced developers can both use it comfortably.

**What do you dislike about Claude Code?**

One thing I dislike about Claude Code is that it can occasionally give overly confident answers or generate code that still needs manual verification. Integration options are improving, but some developer workflows still feel more polished in competing tools. Pricing can also feel expensive for heavier usage, especially for individual developers or students.

**What problems is Claude Code solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Claude Code solves the problem of spending too much time debugging, understanding unfamiliar code, or writing repetitive code manually. It benefits me by speeding up development work, helping explain errors quickly, and making it easier to work with larger projects without constantly searching through documentation.

  ### 20. Dependable Code Companion with Powerful Contextual Capabilities

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Hitarth Anand R. | Software Engineer, Computer Software, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through a review partner

**Source: Organic:** Organic review. This review was written entirely without invitation or incentive from G2, a seller, or an affiliate.

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Claude Code?**

I really like using Claude Code as a software engineer because it helps me understand unfamiliar code bases much faster, especially since I recently joined the organization. It's reliable in providing context instead of isolated answers, reasoning across multiple files and products, assisting in debugging and refactoring, planning implementations, and more. Claude Code acts like a knowledgeable pair programmer, reducing the time it takes to investigate problems and trace bugs, which boosts my productivity. It helps breakdown large tasks, brainstorm architecture decisions, and offers valuable insights for reviewing code and edge cases. I find the plugins particularly useful, like the Chrome plugin with Figma, which seamlessly integrates and clears up design implementations without needing to manually copy details. The terminal integration and file editing capabilities streamline my workflow significantly. Setting up Claude Code was easy, just like signing up for a normal task platform, and I appreciate how it reduces context-switching and equips me to make more informed decisions confidently.

**What do you dislike about Claude Code?**

So the things which I would want Claude Code to really improve are better long-running context retention. As we go on with the chat and use more tokens, Claude Code starts forgetting earlier information, which I don't really want as an engineer. Also, I would like more proactive solutions such as identifying architectural issues, performance bottlenecks, and potential bugs before I ask. Finally, tighter integrations with development tools like GitHub and Jira would be really good. It should be able to check the CICD pipeline by itself when given a job ID.

**What problems is Claude Code solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Claude Code helps me understand unfamiliar code faster, debug issues effectively, plan features, and review pull requests. It increases productivity by tracing bugs and validating code approaches. It feels like a knowledgeable pair programmer, speeding up development and aiding decision-making with confidence.

**What do you like best about Claude Code?**

What I like best about Claude Code is how naturally it understands large codebases and helps with real development workflows instead of only generating isolated code snippets. It is especially useful for backend development tasks such as refactoring, architecture improvements, debugging, and understanding complex project structures.

I also like how fast and context-aware the responses feel. It helps reduce repetitive work, speeds up problem solving, and makes it easier to explore different implementation ideas during development.

**What do you dislike about Claude Code?**

One limitation is that sometimes it can be overly confident when generating implementation details, so responses still need developer validation before production use. In more complex projects, there can also be occasional inconsistencies between generated suggestions and the existing project architecture.

**What problems is Claude Code solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Claude Code helps solve the problem of development speed and complexity by assisting with code generation, debugging, refactoring, and understanding large codebases. It reduces the time spent on repetitive tasks and helps developers move faster when building or maintaining backend systems.

For me, the biggest benefit is productivity. It helps accelerate development, explore implementation ideas quickly, and improve code quality while keeping focus on business logic and architecture decisions.

At G2, we prefer fresh reviews and we like to follow up with reviewers. They may not have updated their review text, but have updated their review.

**What do you like best about Claude Code?**

I like the different interfaces of Claude Code for interaction, which allows integration with different elements. I can call it from a command line console, directly from the editor, or from the preferred IDE. These tools in different IDEs facilitate the integration of the application in any software development environment, which is especially useful for working with different technologies such as Android, Windows, Web, and Text. Claude Code allows me to integrate into those developments in different ways, facilitating work in an assisted agnostic development. Additionally, the initial setup was quite easy because, with a corporate domain, creating an organization account on the platform is simple, and sending invitations to each user and downloading the tools is promoted as an easy distribution mechanism.

**What do you dislike about Claude Code?**

The constant evolution of Claude Code is working against them. Unfortunately, they are releasing so many features that the time to learn and optimize daily use with all of them is becoming complex. Therefore, it is difficult to prepare an environment that makes optimal use of all the tools the environment has. That is the main challenge Claude Code faces, finding a way to provide all developers with an efficient way to use their tools.

**What problems is Claude Code solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Claude Code to increase speed in coding, write error-free code, and generate reviews, comments, and recommendations for the development team.

**What do you like best about Claude Code?**

I find Claude Code suitable for high desktop applications and modified files and data coding analysis. It's really beneficial because multiple users can access it simply through the internet, which is great for IT. It helps us easily solve issues in our day-to-day work, especially for those at junior to mid-level who are learning coding. The strong debugging capabilities are a highlight, and it offers mimetic completion and fix suggestions that enhance my complex engineering tasks. I appreciate its simple, smooth, and visible initial setup.

**What do you dislike about Claude Code?**

I find the cost of Claude Code to be too high, and I'm concerned about the security and permissions. The permissions need to be reviewed carefully because the commands can modify and deploy original files automatically, which can create issues. Sometimes, the code provided is not accurate and can misinterpret the requirements, generating complex code that doesn't solve problems. It also tends to miss very simple logic, and the artificial additions are hard to maintain. This means each level of code needs to be reviewed thoroughly by developers.

**What problems is Claude Code solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Claude Code for analyzing code, identifying root causes, and refactoring problematic code. It helps me modify test files and run tests, giving accurate workflow and code analysis.

  ### 24. Streamlines Code Development with AI Efficiency

I’m not even a developer—I work in product marketing—but it still helps me get things done from one place in the terminal without realistically having to leave it. It integrates via MCP with basically everything, which makes it much easier to stay focused and keep moving.

**What do you dislike about Claude Code?**

Sometimes Claude goes down, especially since the Fable release. They do have a clear status page when there’s an outage, but the main issue is that when it’s down, I can’t get any work done.

**What problems is Claude Code solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gives me one place to do all my work. I can also build things and start new projects—from coding projects to video projects—in a way I just couldn’t before.

**Reviewed Date:** May 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Claude Code?**

It's extremely powerful and can dramatically increase your efficiency. Automating processes across multiple systems is the biggest win using code

**What do you dislike about Claude Code?**

It is a steep learning curve if you are not familiar with similar systems (e.g. coding). Although no coding is involved, the overall appearance of iTerm is overwhelming at first and takes time to understand how the system operates

**What problems is Claude Code solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is generating dashboards from multiple systems that I had to previously navigate to separately and attempt to consolidate the data into a digestible format for executive meetings. It now creates these dashboards in moments and I can update, track, and adjust easily.

It has also been a game changer for internal processes that previously required all manual tasks. We have used Claude Code to automate these processes generating much more efficiency across the team

  ### 28. The AI coding tool that doesn't make you babysit it.

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Claude Code?**

Honestly, what stands out most is how well it keeps track of context across an entire project, not just a single file. I’ve been using it for Python tooling, and it actually seems to understand what I’m building rather than only reacting to whatever happens to be on screen. For someone doing security research and creating tools from scratch, that kind of awareness makes a real difference.

The terminal interface feels natural if you already spend most of your time in the command line, and having Opus under the hood means it doesn’t fall apart when the logic gets complex. It just… works the way you’d want an AI coding assistant to work.

**What do you dislike about Claude Code?**

The cost is the most obvious downside - running on Opus adds up quickly if you use it a lot, and there isn’t really a middle ground where you still get strong reasoning without burning through credits. The other issue is that it can occasionally go off on its own and make changes you didn’t actually ask for. That’s great when it nails it, but frustrating when you have to backtrack and undo things. A clearer confirmation step before it touches multiple files would make this feel much safer. None of this is a dealbreaker, but the pricing model could be more friendly for indie developers or students who aren’t putting it on a company card.

**What problems is Claude Code solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest benefit for me is how much time it saves when I’m building tools from scratch. I work on security research projects - detection pipelines, API layers, and other work that spans multiple files - and the hardest part used to be the constant context-switching: writing code, debugging it, and then tracking down why something broke three files over. Claude Code takes a lot of that back-and-forth off my plate. I can describe what I’m trying to build and it actually gets there, instead of just handing me a snippet that I still have to wire up myself. For solo projects, where you’re the only person writing and reviewing the code, it genuinely feels like having another set of eyes on the work.

  ### 29. One of the Most Useful AI Coding Agents Easy Setup, Interactive Terminal UI, Fast Results

**Source: Organic:** Organic review. This review was written entirely without invitation or incentive from G2, a seller, or an affiliate.

**Reviewed Date:** May 25, 2026

**What do you like best about Claude Code?**

I think it’s one of the most useful AI coding agents out there. It’s very easy to install and start working on code, and the terminal UI is highly interactive. On top of that, its performance helps me write robust code in just minutes, which really saves time. Its skills and MCP integration also make it much better than other coding agents. Also its thinking ability to write code is much better than codex or gemini.

**What do you dislike about Claude Code?**

The thing I dislike most is the token usage and limits. It gets exhausted pretty quickly often in just 2–3 prompts if you’re using a higher model. The top plans also feel a bit pricey.

**What problems is Claude Code solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Claude helps developers and software companies ship faster by assisting with writing code and handling everyday tasks in just minutes.

  ### 30. A Collaborative Coding Partner That Fits Real Development Workflows

**Source: G2 invite:** Invitation from G2. This reviewer was offered a nominal gift card as thank you for completing this review.

**Reviewed Date:** May 20, 2026

**What do you like best about Claude Code?**

What I like best about Claude Code is that it feels more like a collaborative coding partner than a code generator. People consistently praise its ability to understand larger codebases, plan multi-step work, run tools, edit files, and stay useful inside a real development workflow rather than only producing isolated snippets.

**What do you dislike about Claude Code?**

What I dislike most about Claude Code is that it can become overconfident and produce polished-looking changes that still miss important details, especially in larger or messier codebases.

**What problems is Claude Code solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Claude Code is mainly solving the problem of turning multi-step coding work into a workflow an AI can actually carry out end to end, rather than just suggesting snippets. That includes analyzing a codebase, making edits across multiple files, running tests, fixing failures, and handling Git tasks with much less manual coordination.

  ### 31. Well-Structured Projects and Time-Saving Help with Claude code

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adeo T. | Freelance Production Data Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Validated Reviewer:** Validated through LinkedIn

**Source: Organic:** Organic review. This review was written entirely without invitation or incentive from G2, a seller, or an affiliate.

**Reviewed Date:** July 06, 2026

**What do you like best about Claude Code?**

When I provide a solid prompt, Claude code creates a well-structured project. It feels like having an employee who takes care of some of the repetitive tasks I used to handle myself.

**What do you dislike about Claude Code?**

Claude code does not optimise the solution on its own. Often, when I analyse Claude code’s solution myself or use another AI tool to review it, weaknesses are detected and more robust corrective actions are proposed. Even with 95% confidence, a human in the loop is still necessary.

**What problems is Claude Code solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Claude code helps solve the problem of creating and updating production dashboards in a short time. The main benefit is that it reduces the gap between management decisions and the real data from the field (the assembly line in production). By using the Claude code tool, management can access an overview dashboard showing trends up to just a few hours before the decision-making meeting.

**What do you like best about Claude Code?**

I use Claude Code to develop software at a professional level. This software helps me solve all kinds of problems, mainly in design, as well as in the analysis of documents in different formats. I can summarize and obtain something common that helps me advance in my projects. This adds value to my work by providing me with a more complete and detailed summary, which can be transformed into an action plan. It also makes it easier for me to write code, connect and configure remote servers, and test the software we generate with my team. I switched to Claude Code from OpenAI's Codex because the output is of much better quality. The initial setup was very easy because it provides instructions and explains what you don't understand, in addition to having many training resources.

**What do you dislike about Claude Code?**

I think there are times when it makes certain mistakes in what it produces, but I see that it is constantly evolving, so they are mistakes, but they are minor.

**What problems is Claude Code solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Claude Code to professionally develop software, solve design problems, analyze and summarize documents to advance my projects, write code efficiently, connect to remote servers, and test software. We switched to Claude Code for its better quality of output.

**What do you like best about Claude Code?**

It supports the entire software development life cycle, from planning through deployment, and it keeps getting better every day. Claude code has fundamentally changed the way we write code and build applications, and the loopholes in the system are slowly but surely being addressed and improved over time.

**What do you dislike about Claude Code?**

The fact that my tokens keep on running out and the fact that the legacy models like opus 4.5 and sonnet 4.5 are not accessible anymore

**What problems is Claude Code solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps close the usual gap between “what the AI suggests” and “what actually gets implemented” by taking care of the small but time-consuming tasks—things like writing unit tests, fixing lint errors, resolving merge conflicts, or updating dependencies. It also keeps track of your project structure using local config (like CLAUDE.md), so it doesn’t operate blindly.

With the Model Context Protocol (MCP), it can plug into tools like GitHub, Jira, and Slack, meaning you can trigger entire workflows from a single prompt. In practice, it feels like having multiple assistants working in parallel on your codebase.

The end result is a shift in how you work—you spend less time on repetitive coding and more time on design, decisions, and reviewing output. It reduces mental load and lets you move faster, even when working in unfamiliar parts of the system.

**What do you like best about Claude Code?**

The agentic capabilities are strong — it can plan and execute multi-step tasks, run terminal commands, edit files, and iterate on errors autonomously. For complex tasks it thinks through the problem reasonably well before diving in.

**What do you dislike about Claude Code?**

The onboarding experience is rough and it doesn't feel intuitive out of the box. Simple things require too much setup, and the CLI-first approach creates friction compared to more polished tools. When it makes mistakes it can go in circles rather than stopping and asking. Documentation could be much clearer.

**What problems is Claude Code solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's aimed at automating larger dev workflows end-to-end — not just completing code but actually running and debugging it. In theory it reduces the back-and-forth of manually applying AI suggestions, but the ease-of-use issues make it hard to get that benefit consistently.

**What do you like best about Claude Code?**

I use Claude Code as a supporting tool in my daily workflow - mainly for prototyping, code review, and testing.

The multithreaded, agent-based approach makes it effective at exploring problems from different angles. It helps surface edge cases, potential vulnerabilities, and logical gaps that are easy to miss during development.

**What do you dislike about Claude Code?**

The main issue is inconsistency in output quality. In some cases, it provides well-reasoned and accurate results, while in others it can miss context or make questionable decisions.

There are also usage limits, which can interrupt longer sessions and slow down iteration on more complex tasks.

**What problems is Claude Code solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Claude Code helps reduce iteration time during development. I use it to quickly prototype ideas, review code, and explore edge cases or potential failure scenarios.

**What do you like best about Claude Code?**

The integration with MCP servers and the ability to work on the real context of the project, not just isolated snippets — which makes it useful for complex projects with multiple technologies.

**What do you dislike about Claude Code?**

The consumption of tokens in large projects that do not retain context between sessions — you have to "reintroduce" it to the project every time you open a new session.

**What problems is Claude Code solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Resolve the constant context switching between multiple projects and different technologies. It allows me to maintain high productivity regardless of whether I'm in Laravel, Next.js, or WordPress — reducing the "startup" time for each task and speeding up integrations with complex APIs.

**What do you like best about Claude Code?**

Claude Code has been transformative for our engineering and operations teams at Mend. We're a 50-person fintech startup based in Mexico, and we use Claude Code daily as power users to ship features faster. What we love most is how it accelerates our deployment cycles - tasks that used to take hours now take minutes. The AI intelligence is exceptional, especially when working through complex codebases. We've implemented several production features with it, including AI-powered data extraction pipelines that have streamlined our operations significantly. The integration with our existing development workflow is seamless, and the quality of the code it generates is consistently high. The reasoning capability is what really sets it apart - it doesn't just generate code, it understands context, asks the right clarifying questions, and produces solutions that are production-ready. For a startup like ours where engineering velocity is critical, Claude Code has been a game-changer.

**What do you dislike about Claude Code?**

Honestly, there's not much to dislike. If we had to nitpick, sometimes managing rate limits and credit consumption requires planning, especially when running large refactoring tasks across our codebase. We'd also love to see even more granular controls for team usage analytics so we can better understand which engineers are getting the most value. Occasionally, on very large monorepos, the context window can be a constraint, but the recent improvements have made this much less of an issue. These are minor concerns compared to the massive productivity gains we get.

**What problems is Claude Code solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At Mend, a 50-person fintech startup in Mexico, Claude Code is solving several critical business problems. First, it dramatically accelerates our engineering velocity - we can ship features and deploy faster than ever, which is essential as we scale our fintech platform. Second, it enables our operations team to build automation that previously required dedicated engineering resources. We've used Claude Code to implement AI-powered data extraction features that automate manual document processing - a huge win for a fintech where we deal with lots of financial data and documents. Third, it lowers the barrier for less senior engineers to contribute high-quality code, effectively leveling up the entire team. Anthropic gave us $15K in credits which we've stretched far, and the ROI has been exceptional. The key benefits we measure: reduced time-to-deploy, fewer bugs in production, faster onboarding of new engineers, and the ability to take on ambitious technical projects with our small team that would otherwise require hiring more people. For a startup, this kind of leverage is invaluable.

**What do you like best about Claude Code?**

It allows me to delegate tasks like writing, debugging, and refactoring directly from my terminal. Alone can handle the entire database effectively and has full access to file contents, so it can make autonomous changes when needed.

**What do you dislike about Claude Code?**

overconfident about done, it run teast and then give reply as done

**What problems is Claude Code solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lessens the need to perform the same tasks repeatedly since it automates test creation, writing, refactoring, and managing simple bugs. This automation allows for more sophisticated design decisions.

Decreases the costs associated with switching contexts. Usually, I have to pause work and look documentation or perform other forms of active debugging. Instead, I explain what the problem is, and I get back a fix or an explanation. This improves the pace of work.

It help me a lot to do coding for my project, also help me to solve the bugs . The best part of it is that it can read my whole code so i don't have to paste the code one by one.

**What do you dislike about Claude Code?**

The subscription amount is bit high and there is limited token to use per day , so it gets stop when i use it a lot and give me a cooling period.

**What problems is Claude Code solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its saving my time to read and write the complete code, i just have to write what to do and it does it.

**What do you like best about Claude Code?**

I love how Claude Code, particularly the Opus model, makes agentic development, product management, and testing seamless for us. It's become known as the most 'loved' LLM for developers, offering great models that work exceptionally well even from the terminal. I appreciate how the team plan allows us to manage all accounts securely and conveniently, with the ability to install skills and disallow certain behaviors. The community and ecosystem around Claude Code are extensive, making it stand out among other LLMs. The app is mature, handles management for teams with ease, and includes a lot of MCPs and tools intended for Claude.

**What do you dislike about Claude Code?**

The main issue is that pricing and token usage are very "opaque" and you can't plan a budget with plans, as limits get smaller every month. Also, while the main setup is easy, MCPs, skills, and other tools are complex sometimes.

**What problems is Claude Code solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Claude Code helps us manage accounts securely, efficiently decide and install skills while preventing dangerous behaviors. The team plan's convenient, and the community and ecosystem are bigger than other LLMs, simplifying team management.

**What do you like best about Claude Code?**

I appreciate Claude Code for its extensibility; I can think of 95% of something, and it helps me get to 100%. It's helpful in implementing processes like code generation, code reviewing, and plan generating with documentation. It types faster than I can and helps consider edge cases that might be overlooked in feature work. While it's not perfect, with a good setup of guardrails, it can cover about 90% of what I need, leaving only minor tweaks for me. Its focus on performance and security during code reviews is something I find beneficial considering how fast-moving coding can be. For planning, it helps organize my thoughts and create plans that are less disruptive to colleagues and users. The initial setup was pretty simple for me too.

**What do you dislike about Claude Code?**

I think it could be more transparent at things it's not confident on and helping you learn how to use it more out of the box.

**What problems is Claude Code solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Claude Code for automation and generating code for new features. It helps me think of edge cases, types faster than I can, and extends my ideas to completion. It aids in code performance, security reviews, and planning less disruptive implementations.

**What do you like best about Claude Code?**

I like how easy it is to use. As someone non-technical but on a product team, being able to rapidly prototype, understand our codebase, and make small fixes and tweaks is invaluable!

**What do you dislike about Claude Code?**

I dislike how unclear the token-usage reporting is. I understand and follow best practices, but I don’t like that I have to dig into the settings just to see what my usage actually is. Also, team members who use it in the terminal see totally different team usage stats and views than those on desktop, which can be confusing and makes it harder to stay aligned.

**What problems is Claude Code solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps me tackle UX debt and fix the small bugs that keep stacking up. It also supports rapid prototyping, and it lets me keep making progress even when my day is broken up by heavy meeting blocks and constant context switching between different tasks.

  ### 44. Streamlined Development with a Clean Interface

**What do you like best about Claude Code?**

I use Claude Code for generating code, creating tests, and explaining code blocks. I really appreciate the clean interface of the Claude Code CLI, which is very easy to use. I like the ability to run multiple Claude Code instances and easily use commands to identify what each one is working on. The ability to run created skills and agent personas, to set models, and have all that information easily viewable helps me accelerate development. The setup was very fast and easy, and it was up and running in a few minutes since you only configure what you need as you go.

**What do you dislike about Claude Code?**

I wish there was a clean way to register agent personas like there is for registering skills. Currently there isn't a clean way to register the personas, you can copy them into the appropriate folder but it is very manual. In comparison with skills which can be registered easily from a GitHub URL.

**What problems is Claude Code solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Claude Code for generating and explaining code, creating tests, and reviewing PRDs and TDDs. Its clean interface and easy CLI, with the ability to run instances and view tasks clearly, help accelerate development.

**What do you like best about Claude Code?**

I really like Claude Code's plan mode. It's amazing for planning and building anything. I appreciate how I can iterate it to the perfect edition until I'm satisfied with the pre-output before even starting. It helps me tackle planning effectively. Additionally, Claude's website has good documentation, making the installation process easy. I found it very straightforward to get everything running.

**What do you dislike about Claude Code?**

They could improve their context window. Right now, the hiccup I face is whenever I just go on and on with a single object thing, after a short span of time, the context window gets reset and all the chats compress to the memory. This might cause it to lose some details, and while it doesn't happen 90% of the time, in some cases it does slip up and miss important details.

**What problems is Claude Code solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Claude Code mostly for planning and executing tasks effectively. Its plan mode is an amazing feature that helps me refine projects to perfection before execution, ensuring all edge cases are handled.

**What do you like best about Claude Code?**

I use Claude Code for building demos and PoCs as well as automating tasks, and I love that it's easy to spin up from the terminal and grant it access to all necessary context. It's a game changer because the agentic harness enables the agent to learn context, use tools, observe changes, and repeat for a fantastic user experience. Claude Code is great at understanding code bases, teaching me about them, and developing new features. The agentic harness is really effective as it helps me achieve the target goal by asking clarifying questions and checking multiple sources of data. I also appreciate having a consistent experience with the harness always available in all my coding environments. The setup was extremely easy, and I also use the VS Code plugin alongside it.

**What do you dislike about Claude Code?**

Having too many MCP servers configured can easily consume a ton of local storage. It would be nice if Claude Code could optimize this aspect. Also, periodically clean up unneeded context and give us more insight into memory management.

**What problems is Claude Code solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Claude Code for building demos and automating tasks. It helps me multitask, understand code bases, and develop new features with its agentic harness.

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Claude Code?**

I like the fact that Claude Code has access to everything I have access to and gathers the context it needs from multiple different sources. It's able to synthesize that information, provide solutions, and dialogue with me, keeping me very much a human in the loop. It really empowers me and unlocks productivity that would be impossible any other way. For example, whether using an MCP server or a CLI tool on my local machine, it's able to access Slack, Jira, and GitHub, which are key tools in my workflow. The fact that it can access what I can access does so much more efficiently. It reduces task and tool switching that I would normally have to do manually.

**What do you dislike about Claude Code?**

I struggle to find anything I dislike about it!

**What problems is Claude Code solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Claude Code for all software development lifecycle stages. It integrates with tools like Slack, Jira, and GitHub, reducing task switching. It enhances productivity by synthesizing information and keeping me in the loop while enabling dialogue and implementing solutions.

  ### 48. Centralize Your Entire Digital Ecosystem

**What do you like best about Claude Code?**

What I appreciate the most is its ecosystem, the fact that it can integrate so well with so many tools, almost natively via the MCPs. I also appreciate its approach which is development and code-oriented, allowing developers to create their own tools and skills. The fact that it is infinitely configurable is also a strong point for me; I can really customize it thanks to the CLAUDE MD files, the creation of skills, and the writing of precise directives. This allows me to make Claude the tool that meets my personal needs in my work.

**What do you dislike about Claude Code?**

Pricing, token management, it's really a point that is very specific to Claude Code, the way it handles its billing. We have sliding windows of 5 hours with a limited number of tokens during these 5 hours, and we don't always have control over how these tokens are used. Also, depending on the time of day, whether or not it's peak hours, our tokens tend to run out a bit faster, so we have to activate additional usage which is paid, or switch to a higher plan which is not cheap either. I understand once again the power of the tool, the desire to make it available only to those who really need it and who believe that this cost is worth it. But the fact is that yes, its price is still quite substantial for intensive use.

**What problems is Claude Code solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Claude Code solves the problem of switching from one tool to another and allows me to focus on high-value tasks by automating the writing of texts and code.

**What do you like best about Claude Code?**

I find the Shopify integration in Claude Code absolutely amazing and mind-blowing. It's fully integrated, so I no longer need to copy and paste from other applications like ChatGPT into Shopify. Claude Code does the work directly in Shopify for me, and it does it fast and accurately. I just need to give guardrails and approve the work, which makes the integration truly fantastic. Additionally, setting up the Shopify integration was really easy. Although the Google integration was initially more complicated, using AI to assist with the setup made it very easy.

**What do you dislike about Claude Code?**

For some reason, it doesn't have the Shopify API to control or modify orders, which seems ridiculous because there's no sensitive information there. I think this is an issue on the Shopify API and not Claude Code. But I really hope there's a workaround for this or that I can do this because that would save me a lot of time.

**What problems is Claude Code solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Claude Code to integrate Shopify and Google Analytics, which lets me answer questions about my store and improve SEO. It replaces some Shopify apps, analyzes my site and Google Analytics data, and enhances product descriptions with AI.

**What do you like best about Claude Code?**

I like how Claude Code integrates seamlessly into my IDE, allowing me to deploy and debug apps in the cloud without having to leave my coding flow. It's a smooth back and forth between local and cloud environments, which makes life easier. It is very responsive and interactive. I also appreciate that Claude Code keeps everything in my editor, making tasks like testing and bug fixing on the cloud super quick. This time-saving convenience really stands out for me.its more intelligent than other

**What do you dislike about Claude Code?**

After using Claude Code for a year, I find that configuring the initial setup or permissions for certain cloud providers can be tricky and not as intuitive. A smoother, more guided onboarding for those complex steps would help. Also, I wish there were more customization options for how deployment workflows are handled. The main thing is that it consumes too many credits for a free user, making a paid API necessary.

**What problems is Claude Code solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Claude Code solves the hassle of configuring cloud environments manually, speeds up deployments, helps debugging applications from my IDE, and saves a lot of time. It makes my daily tasks easier, including documentation and LaTeX code generation.
