"A more complex team software than needs be necessary"

What do you like best about Microsoft Teams?

Working with an international team, Microsoft Teams allows easy navigation between local numbers/online viewing/phone calls. The interface is also quite clean and efficient at what it aims to do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Teams?

However, it is often difficult to get into meetings, or there are severe issues with getting employees cleared and onto the system. This sometimes means employees cannot access information or sessions they need to (though the ability to call in does help mitigate this). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Microsoft Teams?

it was a good idea but the execution pretty much prevents me from liking anything Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Teams?

I can't run any other program while I have Teams up because it takes so much energy from my computer. It is quite challenging to switch Teams log-ins (e.g., if I have two university Teams accounts), which makes research collaboration across institutions quite difficult. "Convoluted permissions and management makes it a rigid solution"
1.5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Teams?

Compared to Zoom and Google Meet, not much. I've been using the tool mostly with clients with Microsoft as their productivity software, and as an outsider, it's not user-friendly. What I do like, perhaps, is its implementation of virtual backgrounds. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Teams?

Accessibility to its features like opening breakout rooms when it's not your domain doesn't seem to work. Also, chats you have when signed in are not deletable, just archived. As an external consultant, I don't want to have all my clients chat, and I don't particularly appreciate having open chats that exist forever. The interface seems cumbersome. "Confusing"
2/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Teams?

1. They allow a large number of people to be admitted into a conference

2.Integration with email inboxes to send links automatically with an intive

3. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Teams?

1. You cannot pin a person's view

2. Not clear how the types of views word

3. Only information available about people's names is their initials. For a large conference, it is hard to see who is speaking and hard to address them.

4.Whenever someone joins or leave the conference, an annoying sound pops up

5.You cannot see the whole list of people present in the conference

6.The chat feature isn't easy to find Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Okay product, lots of potential and room for improvement"
1.5/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Teams?

I like how everyone can stay connected and how the application has integrations into so many other apps. I like how it integrates right in with Outlook and calendar and allows for effective collaboration and meeting coordination. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Teams?

There is a severe lack of features. Many of these are very basic and still have not been implemented. I've heard that many of these are simply 'on their roadmap' and they've been working on it, but progress is not apparent or very slow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"On and off but reliable"
2/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Teams?

The signing up process is free. However, you can still use the app without signing in and just through the link that the organizer sends you. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Teams?

Sometimes while sharing screens or in case of having lots of participants at the same time, the app crashes out. The overall speed of proceeding in this app is slow and it takes you a while to log back in. this is inconvenient and time wasting specifically if there is a content that you might not want to lose .

And if you happen to forget your password, it's a disaster. It happened to me and after doing all the security steps (which is strangely only by getting your number and texting you a code- no other option for you to choose- and the code that never arrived for me personally), you will get a message about trying again the next day because you have tried to access your account several times !! Which is again definitely not what one wants while waiting to attempt an important meeting or having an online class.

Every time someone logs in or out a notification is seen on the screen. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Teams Review"
2/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Teams?

I like how integrated into everything that Teams try to be with all other apps. The Teams app is easily downloaded onto mobile devices and the transition from meetings on the computer to the mobile device is fantstic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Teams?

Everything is very pieced together. Having to download multiple apps to make one app work crowds everything and it also is time-consuming. This also gets mixed into all the apps being used which gets visually jumbled. I also do not like that you cannot delete actual chats and the history is saved somewhere but it is not easily accessed. What do you like best about Microsoft Teams?

I think the chat feature is nice. It's similar to iMessage which is familiar Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Teams?

I think the video conferencing is very clunky. Screens disappear; you can't see yourself, lots of odd things. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Working but too buggy on Mac OS for a decent experience"
2/5
What do you like best about Microsoft Teams?

The integration with Office 365 suite is acceptable, the Powerpoint documents sharing is working fine Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Teams?

Lack of flexibility on inviting people out of the organization, an enormous amount of CPU resources required, screen sharing slow down the entire performance of the PC, documents sharing within the meetings is difficult, and it often goes out of sync, chats on channels are hard to follow, threads are not well organized Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Teams?

To try and follow conversations in "teams" is nigh on impossible

UX/UI is terrible

Notifications are shocking

They even managed to get Emoji's wrong Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
