The rest of the platform is incredibly unintuitive. The "teams" portion of the platform has great potential to be something more similar to Slack, but it just doesn't work well. It lacks the easy- to- use functionality. Team members have to turn on notifications rather than them defaulting to one. The file share system is strange and the integration with sharepoint is not obvious. It's just clunky. I really want it to be better-- it has a lot of potentially. Microsoft Teams being a part of the Office Suite of products makes it more familiar to users. It's a product that users are often unaware that they have access to with minor direction. Microsoft Teams allows users to upload their own backgrounds to express their individualism and creativity. Microsoft Teams is extremely glitchy. The audio frequently cuts out or provides poor quality. Warnings constantly appear stating that the audio is of poor quality. The audio's poor quality is the result of the poor functionality and performance of the software, not the users. Being disconnected from a video conference meeting is a regular experience. It is quite easy to install and the interface is very simple to learn. I have used zoom and skype as well but in my personal opinion, the call sound quality is best with Teams. Also, we can set up a meeting ith Teams which is not available with Zoom. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
