What do you dislike about HubSpot Marketing Hub?

I really like how HubSpot Marketing Hub allows me to send outbound SMS messages for our specific campaigns, and the feature to attach a different phone number than the standard one is particularly convenient. This functionality enables me to track information effectively on the platform, offering valuable insights into click rates and user interactions with links or external browsers. Additionally, I appreciate that HubSpot Marketing Hub serves as a central repository where all our business information can be collected and stored, complete with metrics and key performance indicators. This capability enhances our ability to convert interested customers into leads within our sales funnel. What do you dislike about HubSpot Marketing Hub?

I feel the ease of use on emails could be improved, as it's hard to consolidate a lot of information in one place when using templates. Additionally, I wish there were different templates that allow more flexibility with image shape and structure, as well as easier ways to select brand colors or input brand information and brand kits. Furthermore, while the initial setup of HubSpot Marketing Hub was manageable, it was rather time-consuming to explore everything and search for needed functionalities. What do you like best about HubSpot Marketing Hub?

I have been using HubSpot Marketing Hub for a little over a year, which has proven quite beneficial for creating landing pages, emails, customizing themes through the design manager, and managing social media posts. One of the standout features is the email builder, which is extremely user-friendly and allows me to effortlessly write custom CSS, ensuring great performance on mobile devices while maintaining layout integrity. The social media calendar is another feature I appreciate as it enables me to track posts and collaborate effectively with my team on scheduling and content creation, enhancing project management and cohesion. Performance tracking of my pages is precise, helping me accurately pinpoint areas that need improvement or are performing well, which significantly optimizes my time and resource allocation. Furthermore, the SEO analysis tool aids me in maintaining a healthy and fast website by identifying oversized images, broken links, and necessary alt text corrections. What do you dislike about HubSpot Marketing Hub?

I find working with forms a bit challenging in HubSpot Marketing Hub. Transforming one type of input to another, such as converting a single choice into a multiple choice with an 'others' option for user input, is not straightforward. This forces me to create more than one property to facilitate a multiple choice followed by a text input, which is cumbersome. Additionally, the lack of an easy way to link and unlink properties without deleting and creating new ones adds to the hassle. An edit feature would be beneficial in this context. Setting up the system wasn't straightforward either; it took considerable time and effort by multiple team members over several months, and customizing the theme in the design manager was limited and complex. I love how easy to use HubSpot Marketing Hub is. I've been using it for nearly 6 years throughout my career, and it’s consistently provided a great user experience every time. I particularly appreciate its ability to efficiently publish and distribute content across various channels, which is incredibly valuable given the amount of content I create for our company. The initial setup was very easy, making it seamless to get started. What do you like best about HubSpot Marketing Hub?

It is so user-friendly that I haven't even completed any of their free trainings, but I've been considered an SME for it in 2 organizations. It is visually pleasing to work on, and it does not require developer level skills to execute campaigns or even customize the system. It is also fast compared to other robust MarTech and CRMs that make you feel like you're using a computer in the early 2000s.

When I was part of implementation, it was not resource intensive and I did customizations as well. We were not dependent on consultants.

It is also very easy to integrate third party apps especially if they are native. Again, it doesn't require developer expertise and there are plenty of options in their app marketplace. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about HubSpot Marketing Hub?

I feel like the base functions and features of the Mktg Hub work very well and that any issue or inefficiency is typically from how it is set-up by users.

Other non-major cons include not being able to create a LinkedIn post where the image is hyperlinked. I also think the AI assistant can be improved. It does not add much value especially since I have the highest tier MS CoPilot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

HubSpot Marketing Hub makes it super easy to integrate your marketing efforts with your sales efforts. Because it's embedded in your CRM, your email marketing can easily help raise flags for contacts or companies that may be interested in your product. We use it about every other week to send emails. It feels a bit more like a "legacy" or "old school" email marketing platform than some of the other marketing platforms. You can't be as design-oriented when you're actually writing up your emails. Also, because HubSpot is such a big company, it can be hard to actually get in touch with a real person quickly if you have a specific problem. Often, you have to go to the Academy first. I also enjoy the wide variety of features available and the flexibility to customize them to fit our specific needs. Keeping a track on prospect/leads history, score leads quality based on activity on website and what product that interest them and personalized it to offer the best promotion that we have. Easy for team collaboration, add the data to sync with everyone calendar to collaborate on marketing date and prepare it beforehand, we also use it to plan for entire year budget allocation, so we able to distribute the budget effectively. I appreciate how HubSpot Marketing Hub has allowed me to centralize all of our marketing efforts in one place, which previously involved juggling multiple tools. This integration has made tracking easier and brought all aspects from lead tracking to management and reporting under one roof, giving us a clear picture of our direction and objectives. The email marketing automation workflows and CRM integration are features I find particularly useful and essential for efficient marketing. Getting accustomed to the platform was initially challenging, but the use of HubSpot Academy and hands-on tutorials made the setup easier, thanks to the intuitive nature of the platform once understood. Furthermore, the platform has contributed to our organization becoming more data-driven and efficient, which is a key reason I would consider purchasing it again. I find that the reporting dashboard could be more customizable. Currently, I need to create a lot of customized properties and manually build those for data visualizations and cross-supporting.
