"Business Robustness and Reliability without Compromises"
What do you like best about Oracle Database?

What I value most about Oracle Database is its robustness and reliability for critical enterprise environments. The architecture is designed to ensure high availability, scalability, and security, allowing for the handling of large volumes of data without compromising performance. Additionally, its advanced functionalities, such as transaction management, query optimization, and administration tools, make it easier to maintain integrity and efficiency in complex processes. This solidity makes it an ideal solution for organizations that require stability and long-term support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Oracle Database?

Although Oracle Database offers very comprehensive features, I consider its main disadvantage to be the complexity in administration and the associated cost. The learning curve is steep, which implies investing time and resources to master its configurations and optimizations. Likewise, licenses and additional services tend to be expensive, which limits its adoption in projects with tight budgets. In some cases, this complexity can create a dependency on highly specialized personnel, increasing operational costs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Integration and Cost Savings with Robust Security"
What do you like best about Oracle Database?

This product helps lower operational costs and utilizes a single database to manage all types of data. It ensures a secure hybrid cloud environment and delivers improved identity management along with enhanced user controls. Backup and recovery processes are fast, and the system supports multiple databases. Scalability is excellent, and the inclusion of Flashback technology adds further value.

Very easy to use and integration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Oracle Database?

I can't speak for everyone, but in my experience, Oracle's software is generally quite reliable. The design and engineering behind their RDBMS, Grid, and RAC systems are so well-crafted that I find them genuinely impressive. While the execution is typically solid, there have been some significant missteps in the past.

On the other hand, Oracle as a corporation is about as profit-driven as they come, and their support desk has never been the same since the acquisition of Sun Microsystems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"very user friendly"
What do you like best about Oracle Database?

My company has been using oracle as a replacement for a program called Prelude. Prelude is a very outdated program and very confusing to navigate. Oracle does the same job that prelude does but its significantly more user friendly and shows more information all at once that I will need versus trying to use our old system that doesn't show much and you have to type in weird letters to get any information and without a cheat sheet is impossible to navigate. Very easy to use. We use it daily to process payments for auto parts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Oracle Database?

sometimes it takes awhile to update in our system. That I'm pretty sure is just how my company does things though. When we had an issue with it going down it took over a week to fix which set us back but that again could also have been fault of the company rather than on oracle itself as a program.
