What do you like best?

There are two things I look at when a customer. The actual product and the service around it. Cognism excels in both. As a customer they've met all my requests, needs and even wants. The account management team and service team are top notch. Our rep Adamina is hyper responsive, helpful, and a total delight to work with. What do you like best?

The features have made identifying and contacting prospective clients faster and easier than the previous, more manual methods we were using.

It's very simple and easy to use, and the fact that you can access a vast amount of information in one place (and not have to spend loads of time looking at LinkedIn profiles!) is fantastic. More features are being added all the time, and the new Chrome extension is a game-changer.

What do you dislike?

Nothing to dislike - it's a very well designed and easy to use tool.

If I could make suggestions to improve the system, they would be the ability to include file attachments with emails, rather than just including a link to a document or file, and also the ability to customise emails using HTML (or some kind of drag-and-drop builder or templates) would be useful. We used to have a very manual approach to identifying and contacting leads. This would take up a lot of resource and time, and the ROI of this approach was low. Using the Cognism tool, we have been able to quickly identify and qualify leads across a number of different industries (and with different targeting criteria) all in one place.

What do you like best?

The tool itself is incredibly easy to use, new features are consistently added which our Customer Success Manager Katie always introduces and explains to us.

Katie and the rest of the team have been incredibly helpful from day one. We've received general support on the system, as well as a range on help with various campaigns that we've been running.

The data itself has been a game-changer for us as we're now able to position ourselves in front of the right people, at the right time. Our open rates and responses have continued to increase over time as we compare the successful areas of each campaign.

What do you dislike?

What do you like best?

The main thing that springs to mind is how much time it saves me and my team. Lead sourcing can be time-consuming, but Cognism reduces that time massively and to great effect. Couldn't imagine the team not using Cognism! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Any issues we might have, the Cognism team are always on hand to help and guide you through. The only real dislikes are ones that come with all applications and software, getting used to updates and changes! What do you like best?

Prior to using Cognism, it was a very manual process for us in the business development department when doing our lead generation. Sometimes the data we found wasn't the best and it took up so much of our time which was probably the best thing Cognism solved for us. I like how there are many filters and we can search for our targeted personas and the data is normally great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

There used to be very little mobile numbers and direct dials in Cognism but they have worked towards changing this and recently I have been impressed with this. We have had some bounces on emails also recently but this could be attributed to the worldwide pandemic and things constantly changing. Another thing to note is that sometimes the filters can pull data from other industries. What do you like best?

It is a powerful B2B tool for our organization, it is one of the major prospecting software. Its functions are effective in identifying better prospects and communicate with them, increasing the possibility that it will be more likely to buy our products. Makes us fund campaigns with more accurate and actionable data, which is obtained through segmentation advanced technology and automation that greatly helps all work personnel. We have found potential customers at times that in the mail electronic messages have been transferred to the read messages tray, so the equipment cannot Get an accurate view at a glance. Offer companies of any capacity a pleasant experience and diligence in management and lead generation, allowing an adequate position in the market which is a great boost for our sales, generating higher income in the shortest possible time. Its interface based on cloud facilitates its fluidity, and has little storage capacity, which is favorable.

My account manager Sophia is a font of all knowledge and always goes out of her way to help, educate, and make my user experience the best it can be.

What do you like best?

Cognism is very intuitive and has a wealth of features which can be used in various capacities within our business. I've been able to identify and contact potential leads as well as to check that the information we have on current clients is up to date.

Our Account Manager is absolutely great - regularly checks in and provides tips for getting the most out of the system.

I also really like the validation service to ensure that we are only contacting those whose systems allow contact, and that I can look at alternative methods of communication for those for whom email won't work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

I was introduced to Cognism by a friend who was using it at the time. I booked a demo in through their site and I was impressed from the word go. I signed up 24hrs later so that I could get started. Their onboarding process is great and its really simple to get your head around.

It's really easy to use from a search, campaign and integration point of view. It was really simple to get it set up with our CRM system and now when we have completed a campaign, all of the leads we want to track are synced.

The problem we have had as a business is getting access to verified, GDPR compliant data that we can use to build our own database and a prospect pipeline.

This is a huge drain on time and a very mundane job for anyone to do. Cognism solves this problem instantly. It lets you search for companies and contacts by industry and various other search criteria (very detailed and granular) You can then build personas and add people to campaigns when you are ready to begin with your outreach.

What do you like best?

In reviewing the market, one of my main objectives was to avoid having to use multiple tools to deliver a marketing campaign. Cognism makes that possible with a level of simplicity that allows the process of concept to delivery of a campaign to be short. Despite the capabilities of the cognism system being quite vast the interface is incredibly intuitive and easy to use. And for those odd occasions where you're not sure what to do, the team at Cognism are always on hand to advise, assist and are thoroughly invested in your success. There is almost nothing to dislike about cognism. We've previously had teething problems where some information was outdated but this was a small percentage of thousands of possible contacts. However cognism took this criticism and responded with a real time verification tool so you know you're not wasting precious time or credits on people whose data is obsolete. What do you like best?

The customer support and service is the best in the business (Anna Geissman). Not only is she knowledgeable and helpful she's proactive and genuinely interested. The layout is easy to use and is intuitive. I like the dashboard, email integration is extremely handy and means I can log in and it is all in one place. I can easily find relevant and high quality leads through Cognism and use them in every aspect of my SDR and marketing strategy, the different filters on the search function allows me to segment my leads between the UK and other markets. The dashboard is easy to read and I can easily look at some key statistics here. If I go into the campaigns page I can also get a more detailed breakdown of how each of my campaigns are doing which is a lifesaver for all of my reports and great for measuring KPI's. I can also easily access and layout my sequencing and add several steps such as emails, phone calls and LinkedIn adds. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

The reporting section lacked, but they recently updated this and makes my weekly reporting so much easier. At times the stats won't update and it used to be impossible to delete campaigns which made the dashboard messy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

The ability to quickly build a marketing mailing list using domains and company names is amazing. Our leads list was populated very quickly using Cognism and our sales team has been very busy since. Cognism has automated the dull & tiresome process of finding leads & managing outbound marketing, the prior process involved 3 different tools and would take days to do what Cognism can be set up to do in minutes. Not only does it provide great tracking insights in outbounding, but it enables far more dynamic lead targeting, including based upon factors such as new job join, job postings, funding rounds / IPOs and more.

I selected Cognism due to the ease of data collection and validation for cold calls, and for the email sequencing function. There are almost no companies that do a good job of integrating both areas, but Cognism does.

I have to praise the team involved to date - William and Ben led a slick sales process, and Katie has been lovely to deal with, really helpful and fast to respond to every request I've made. We're a small account (for now), but I've felt very well supported despite this.

Results so far appear slightly lacking on email but good on cold call data - my cold caller tells me the list from cognism is the most successful he has worked on to date in terms of getting through to decision makers.

What do you dislike?

I would have scored a 10 if I hadn't experienced some issues with the email campaign reporting.

Sometimes leads show in 'emails read' as 'bounced' which makes no sense. And sometimes leads appear in 'clicked links' without being read. I understand how this might have happened from a tech perspective (Katie helped to explain), but it means I can't get an accurate 'at a glance' view on overall read / click rate. Can a script be deployed to overwrite these issues somehow?

Also, I'm experiencing quite a high bounce rate given the campaigns are meant to be validated before send... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

The data and email capabilities are very strong, highly recommend.

What do you like best?

There is so much to like about cognism from the support to the platform everything has been designed perfectly with management and simplicity in mind.

The platform is simplstic from the get go and there is little implimentation that you actually need.

The guys at cognism have been more than supportive and your wins become your account managers too. Aaron (our account manager) will email me on a very regular basis to check in and to see how everything is going, there hasnt been a question that I have had that he hasnt been able to answer yet either. The benefits are outstanding, the lead quality was the most important fcator for us to pair with cognism, you can generate all the data you want from LinkedIn profiles right the way to direct dials and email addressess.

LinkedIn paired with cognism is like full blown end game, you can find out a persons interests and hobbies before speaking to them which makes finding a conversation or similarity with a new client very easu. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
