"A revolutionary sales automation product"

What do you like best?

We are a small services business in an extremely crowded market where it is tough to get attention and drive mind-share. Having previously used Growbots with limited results, I was somewhat skeptical about Cognism's value proposition; having been persuaded to sign up for the platform - aided by an excellent customer success manager named Olivia Carden - my expectations have been exceeded in terms of its' user friendliness, ease of use and value in taking away a great deal of the grunt work involved in business development and lead generation.

What do you dislike?

The perceived cost of the license was at first slightly daunting, at least from a small business perspective, however it has proven to be an extremely useful and versatile tool. Had we not received excellent support and guidance from our customer success manager, it could have been a tough learning experience, but once shown the ropes, it's all pretty straightforward.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

It takes away a huge amount of mundane and time consuming research; the data sources are generally speaking up-to-date and relevant which means that the right people are reached. I am confident of seeing a good ROI from this product.

"Amazing lead generation platform!"

What do you like best?

We have been using Cognism platform for new lead generation campaigns for few months. I see it as a powerful tool to reach out to B2B contacts. You can segment your campaigns by applying various filters (country, company size, sector etc.) and expect good results.

It's a user-friendly platform even for non-IT people. Cognism allows us to schedule campaigns and run them automatically. It saves a massive amount of time.

One more point to be mentioned is Cognism excellent customer service. Special thank you to Olivia Carden, our Customer Success Manager. She goes extra mile to make sure we utilise the best features of the platform and shares her experience for better campaign performance.

What do you dislike?

I have not noticed anything I do not like yet.

"Fantastic lead generation and email automation tool!"

What do you like best?

Cognism is a massive time saver for us. As a small business owner you have to wear multiple hats, marketing being one of those. Cognism allows us to generate targeted data and prospects and organise our marketing by scheduling emails over several weeks. Our account manager Molly is also really helpful in fine tuning campaigns and making suggestions on content and subject lines. The platform is also really user friendly.

What do you dislike?

There is nothing I dislike about it. You do have to be organised and stay on top of the email responses which can come in quickly. This is not a bad thing!

If you're looking for a business development solution that saves times and helps identify new prospects give it a try. You wont be disappointed. We've received some excellent leads using it.

"Effective, efficient and great customer service"

What do you like best?

The platform is easy to use and there is a lot of data to be generated from all different types of industries. A huge bonus is the excellent customer service they provide. My customer success manager replies quickly and is extremely helpful, Molly helps me generate ideas, data and even with creating email sequences.

What do you dislike?

From my personal point of view, there is not much to dislike. It is an effective tool for email marketing.

If you are looking for a constant stream of new leads and ability to reach out to thousands of businesses all over the world, then I would recommend Cognism. It is easy to use and extremely effective for lead generation. The customer success team are also fantastic in helping you send out campaigns when you are busy, generating data and providing advice/support on your past campaigns helping you understand what has worked well and what hasn't worked. The platform also gives you a great insight in terms of open rate, click through rate, replies etc which allows for effective remarketing.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Bringing a constant stream of new leads. With little effort involved, I'm able to reach out to hundreds of different businesses each day and as a result this leads to consistent new business. It can also help with your brand awareness.

"A fresh approach to sales "

What do you like best?

What can I say about Cognism…..it’s a very cool way to approach your outbound sales function, with minimal risk. There are two cool things I really like about the system, the first being the ability to set campaigns running when you’re not in the office giving you the ability to react to campaign responses when you’re out on the road. Second (and most importantly) is Flo, our go to person at Cognism, Flo is absolutely fantastic and really makes the journey with this new tech really easy….awesome job Flo!!

What do you dislike?

This isn’t a dislike, more of a ‘keep in mind’ whilst the system can run seamlessly in the background, you do need to be switched on when the responses start to come in and don’t leave them too long. Also, take the time to familiarise yourself with the tech, don’t be worried, take it slow and you’ll love it. However, with a Flo at your disposal to hold your hand, it’s all good.

The number one reason I came to Cognism is as a new company I want to drive sales, however I didn’t want to invest in an expensive sales team (bodies in the office), so I was looking for something efficient and cool as I was adamant there must be another way to approach sales. Therefore, Cognism are driving our brand awareness up and getting us in front of people.

"Always supportive!"

What do you like best?

It comes as little surprise that Cognism have an award winning customer service team. As with any marketing channel it's never a fine science and often incurs hurdles along the way however the team are always quick to react and resolve any issues. Constant communication and easy access to the team has enhanced the experience. On top of this Cognism are constantly evolving the platform to allow new technologies.

What do you dislike?

I wouldn't say there's anything specific I dislike. We've incurred some hurdles along the way but accept that this is normal and teething problems often happen in a start up business that grows so quickly and trying to stay ahead of the curve with the latest technologies.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Give it a go and take full advantage of testing as many markets as possible. Think outside the box and be proactive in following up all the leads available from the excellent reporting functionalities.

I'm the only person within my organisation in a solely new business role so the platform allows me to cover a lot of ground quickly, qualify in/out prospects and A/B test for different industries and react quickly to recognised trends. It allows me to push on with smaller, niche, personalised campaigns while Cognism runs in the background doing a lot of the heavy lifting.

"Fantastic product with great support and service!"

What do you like best?

We have been using Cognism for outbound marketing/prospecting for the past few months and have found it an invaluable marketing solution for our business.

It has allowed us to reach new customers quickly and get our industry leading email verification solution into the B2B market place.

I have found the level of service and support from Cognism excellent and would highly recommend any business looking for a n outbound marketing solution to give Cognism a try.

What do you dislike?

It would be nicer to be able to filter down into the prospects in more detail with more industry specific information.

"A great tool to reach the right peoples "

What do you like best?

Cognism has helped the business in a number of ways. The great part is how tool reaches the decision makers of an organisation. By getting in touch with the right people ensures a speedy response time. Also, being able to target a specific location helps tap into markets where we currently don't operate.

What do you dislike?

Some of the responses often end up in my junk mailbox. Also, historically, clients who have unsubscribed have received a follow up sequence email. This can have an adverse affect on the business.

Have a target market in mind to ensure clear strategy when sending out sequence emails.

We have managed to cut out hours of research and human power to send emails to potential new clients. Normally such emails are generic business emails rather than direct contacts.

"Great people, great product"

What do you like best?

The level of service provided by Cognism and the quality of leads. All starting issues were resolved quickly and properly. The whole service team is extremely responsive and helpful and they are always genuinely looking to add value to their platform.

What do you dislike?

As it is a relatively young and growing company, so expectedly there are a few bugs within the online platform - but this is nothing major and does not in any way impact usability. It would be nice to get more information and advanced search and filter capabilities within the campaign screen

Recommendations to others considering the product:

The investment needed to get started with Cognsim is easily offset by the new business procured. If you're unsure, just go ahead and sign on for the proof of value period.

Cognism helps me find new leads for my B2B campaign that are actually useful. I have worked with other similar companies before and the quality of leads output by Cognism is far superior. This is in large part due to the detailed search functions when discovering leads with prospector. With the 5000 credits plan I can get at least one or two useful email conversations per day - I work in the manufacturing space, so finding the right kind of prospects can prove difficult with outbound. Cogism makes it so much easier.

"Has cut our prosepcting time down by half"

What do you like best?

Absolutely incredible customer service far beyond what you would expect from a tech solution provider. Onboarding has been a delight, and Cognism even went as far as to invite us into the office to meet the team and be taught best practise.

What do you dislike?

The outbound comms tools are limited (plain text emails), but that works fine for us as we use our own marketing automation software to nurture leads generated through Cognism anyway

Quick and easy data acquisition. Focus on the validated leads, as you'll get quicker wins, and integrate with a marketing automation platform for best results.

We're a startup (much like Cognism) and we're going through the teething problems of building a high-performing sales engine. Sourcing and contacting leads has frankly been a ball ache, and we were therefore delighted to discover Cognism (on a recommendation) takes all the pain out of this stage of the process. We're now getting through to decision makers and converting 20 demos a week (with a small sales team) - we wouldn't be doing this without them

"Great way to augment your SDR efforts"

What do you like best?

The team at Cognism is smart and highly responsive. They are eager to make the relationship work and always put forth the necessary effort and resources into making our marketing campaigns effective. Most importantly, the relationship has produced a good return on investment, which we expect to see increasing further this Quarter and beyond.

What do you dislike?

When we first started working with the software it was still somewhat in development, i.e. there was a good infrastructure but there were a few features were missing that we wanted; however, every time we made a feature request, the team was amazingly fast about executing it. The product has developed very nicely over time and has been highly responsive to our needs.

Great product and team, would highly suggest working with them.

We are using the product to help identify companies that would benefit from our services. In this capacity, it’s helped identify companies by industry, revenue, and other unique criteria that would typically require multiple resources. "Automated sales process "

What do you like best?

The team at Cognism is are very helpful and eager to do everything they can to make the process work for us. They are also on hand for support whenever I've had a question within minutes. We've increased out output ten fold and It won't take long for us to see a return on our investment.

What do you dislike?

Being new to the software we sometimes find it hard to keep up with the response it generates. This isn't down to the programme however more to our lack of experience using their interface. I expect this to change as we continue to use the programme going forward.

Lead sourcing and 1st,2nd,3rd approaches - it's basically eliminated the need for cold calling

"Best Prospecting Tool I've Used"

What do you like best?

It has everything you need and nothing you don't. Alice and Kris have helped us dial in our marketing efforts saving us valuable time and money. It automates what you need automated and still allows for a personal touch. Between the product and the human support, it's hard to find anything better.

What do you dislike?

Nothing yet. So far it has been producing great leads that nicely supplement our manual efforts, making us much more efficient as a team.

Definitely give it a try! I highly recommend it to everyone except our competitors :)

"Powerful B2B Tool - Definitely Revolution not Evolution"

What do you like best?

It joins up our client's Marketing and Sales efforts - allowing them to genuinely work with each other. Cognism's versatility produces data that can be used on major integrated campaigns down to one-off bespoke email shots. The Cognism team are a delight to work with - they are really knowledgeable and helpful.

What do you dislike?

It's frightening how powerful it is! Apart from that the lack of integration with social media profiles.

Definitely persue a trial and see if it works for you. Ask Cognism lots of questions - they have so much knowledge and are keen to impart.

"The best B2B tool we have used"

What do you like best?

The reach it has in our markets. We have tried other people who have offered similar services in the past with universally poor results. We work exclusively in emerging and frontier markets and Cognism works for us there. Additionally they have gone the extra mile to solve any and all teething problems we have had and are genuinely keen to look at new approaches to the problems we all face in developing new business.

What do you dislike?

We had a few teething problems to start but these were software related and have since been ironed out.

"Sack your business development team"

What do you like best?

With Cognism, I can bi-pass the most expensive elements of the business development process which is identifying the decision maker and getting them to agree to a conversation - effectively we have replaced a telesales team with their solution and are delivering higher levels of appointments every week.

What do you dislike?

As with all systems, there are always minor niggles or features we would like - but in fairness the longest we have waited for implementation of an item on our wish list was a couple of weeks

"Efficient, user-friendly, innovative lead generating and sales funnel tool "

What do you like best?

Amazing customer support and recommendations to target the ideal leads/customers.Very reliable and helpful tool to identify leads: in multiple industries, countries, job titles, using certain technologies etc. All in one platform to find leads, and target those leads through an email management system. Constantly innovating and improving features and adding more leads to their database!

What do you dislike?

With any startup, there are occasional inefficiencies/bugs when adding new features but they always get flagged and fixed very quickly. Honestly can't complain about much.

Identifying customers who fit the target audience; receive actionable results of leads with including their contact information, and a smart campaign management system to reach out these leads.

"The best emails outreach platform! "

What do you like best?

The best thing about Cognism is the database with quality leads. Super intuitive process of setting up campaigns and tracking them in inbuild calendar helps to plan ahead!

What do you dislike?

I have been using Cognism for 3 weeks and I haven't found any negative things so far.

I strongly recommend it to everyone who is struggling with emails campaigns and data for campaigns.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Before using Cognism, I used to spend 2-3 hours a day on email campaigns (generating leads, quality checking, setting up campaigns etc.). Now, it takes me 20-30 minutes a day just to double check if everything is working properly. Once campaigns are set up, I'm just replying to emails of potential clients ;)

"How Cognism has saved us many hours with outreach. "

What do you like best?

I like that I at the click of a button I get to start conversations with credible people in huge companies that lead to developing a profitable relationship.

What do you dislike?

It took us a few months to get into the swing of making cognism work for us, and there was a lot of trial and error but once we got there, it was great.

Be willing to use it with a trial and error mentality to begin with, but persevere as once you've figured out what works for you, you'll definitely start seeing results and strengthening business leads.

"Cognism Leap Frogs Other Platforms In It's Category "

What do you like best?

Cognism offers clean accurate data in an easy to use tool. As importantly they offer expertise and insight. Every person I have dealt with at the company is smart, responsive, and trustworthy. We looked at and tested several other vendors and no one came close to Cognism.

What do you dislike?

There is nothing I dislike about the company or the services they offer.

Save yourself a lot of time, energy and resources and just sign up with them.You have to consider value not just price and the value they offer is excellent.

Cognisim solves huge work flow problems for us. They have enabled us to be ferocious competitors and provide us the the tools to be hyper efficient. This company really works 24x7 and I am not sure when anybody there sleeps.

"Great tool AND client management"

What do you like best?

The Cognism platform is simple to use and, most importantly, delivers. The account management team (Molly Dunkley in our case) is attentive and constantly look to help you in utilising the platform for your specific business.

What do you dislike?

The only criticism we have is that multiple leads from the same company are generated and there doesn't seem to be a way to stop this.

"Good technology with great people behind the scenes"

What do you like best?

The human side - from the sales introduction to ongoing account management

Getting used to the system (like with any new software) and understanding the nuances
