"Very happy with the Software"

What do you like best?

Ease of finding customers and orders and the ability to quickly process multiple orders in 1 batch.

What do you dislike?

Recommendations to others considering the product

I feel comfortable recommending this software as long as the prospective buyer takes the time to have a FEW live demo's and actually gets some hands on time to see if it is a good fit.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We did not have any problems to solve in regards to the why we switched software, it was a benefits issue from the get go.

The version of Acumatica that we purchased is a cloud based system which allows all of my people to be able to work from home or while away on business (yes we could do it before but we had to log into the office server, this is a lot easier).

The additional benefits we have gained are numerous; Speed in processing our outgoing shipment was vital and with a click of the mouse we can have a batch of 20 or 30 or 100 ordered processed in the time it took us to do 2 with our old system. The search functions are great and not hard to understand and use. Having integrated email has saved us tons of time and allows us all to be able to see what has been sent to a customer when dealing with quotes or question.

"Outstanding product!"

What do you like best?

Acuamatica is both a very powerful tool yet extremely easy to use. Their pricing model is superior to others in the marketplace and we feel that from a price/performance standpoint, it far outshines its competitors.

What do you dislike?

From a functionality standpoint, there is really not anything it cannot do. The only limitation that its CRM doesn't interface with GMail.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Do not be concerned about the size of their installation base as compared to the larger packages that are in the marketplace.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are both a designer of specialty UV lighting applications/products and a distributor of commodity lighting products. Its inventory management capabilities cobmined with extensive reporting tools has allowed us to have much better control of our inventory levels

"Our team has had a very positive experience with Acumatica."

What do you like best?

Acumatica is a 360 solution for all of our business processes. It has replaced 6 different software solutions that we previously used. It is proving to be very scalable and easy to customize. The dashboards are very useful in managing operations. The app and SAAS platform also make the platform extremely accessible.

What do you dislike?

Configuring user roles is very challenging and tedious. Would be advantageous to have stock roles out of the box for positions such as AR clerk, AP clerk, etc. Alternatively, better organization of the tree/structure would also simplify the process.

Recommendations to others considering the product

I highly recommend it and believe it will continue to grow and be one of the dominant cloud-based ERP solutions.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are using Acumatica to administer our manufacturing, distribution, delivery, accounting, and project management. Previously our team spent a lot of time inputting data into many systems; whereas, Acumatica has streamlined our processes by operating as a 360 solution. In addition, it gives us significantly better reporting across our manufacturing and distribution operations.

"Finally, the last ERP I will have to buy!"

What do you like best?

I have been using Acumatica for almost 8 years now. The company continues to evolve and improve without losing site of its customers. It is fast and flexible and serves as our hub for our cloud strategy.

What do you dislike?

I wish Acumtica did a better job on our of the box reporting to help organizations get best in class data to help understand their organizations and grow.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Each year, Acumatica keeps getting better and better and are completely customer focused. To the best of my knowledge, Acumatica is the only truly cloud-based ERP that offers a choice of deployment (SaaS, On Premise or your choice of hosted services) and unlimited users. They are well funded and are here for the long run.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Deciding to go with Acumatica was the beginning of implementing our cloud strategy. Over the last seven years, we have integrated other cloud softwares to handle marketing, cloud storage and collaboration and project/task management. With Acumatica at the center of this strategy, we have drastically reduced process times and simplified our processes.

"Great experience learning from the experts both from Acumatica and there many partners."

What do you like best?

I've like seeing where Acumatica is headed both in terms of the ERP system itself but also in their growing the number of partners around the world and in developing seperate modules for other business like the constuction business.

Having the chance to talk to other customers about their experiences with the system in terms of problem issues and resolution of those issues has been helpful.

The ability to talk with our third party vendors in the same location has also been helpful as well as seeing what else is available that we may be able to intergrate in the future.

What do you dislike?

There were a few times when the information being covered in the keynote address was also covered in the customer sessions although it was amazing to see what is coming. I also wonder about the abililty of the Summit to keep growing with more and more customers and partners attending. Sometimes hard to find a place that was quiet.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

One thing the Acumatica and Fusion solved for us was the intergration of our POS system with our ERP. We had seperate systems which required duplicate data entry and merging of several reports.

We also have been able to batch processes that we were doing individually before which has allowed our customer service team to be able to work more with customer relationships.

"New ERP system for company running on spreadsheets"

What do you like best?

User interface is easy to follow. Lots of things that are configurable and don't require programming/coding skills. LOVE the generic inquiries to build and set up/share that pull lots of analytics data. The results are exportable to Excel for those who have to do more with Excel

What do you dislike?

Some of the relationship between the projects module and the services module needs to be a bit more seamless...difficult to describe here. The required "Default Task" in the Appointments header causes quite a problem for our particular field services where the field techs many times need to add new project tasks from the field. The Default task many times induces user input errors by the field techs who are using the mobile phones or tablets.

be very careful in the VAR partner selection. ask lots of questions, especially concerning the financials, project, and services modules

We are consolidating data from VERY old legacy systems and spreadsheets into one master set of financials and project/services platform. We've benefitted from centralized data and the ability to even think about simple integrations with value added services that our company may benefit from.

"Great Cloud Based ERP"

What do you like best?

The cloud interface is really good. I haven't worked with a ton of ERPs, but by comparison, Acumatica's cloud functionality is awesome.

What do you dislike?

Navigating to the right screen can be a bit of work and performing some transactions seem to take a little more effort and time than I'd prefer.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Like any ERP, Acumatica has it's pros and cons. I recommend making sure that the way Acumatica works will mesh with your business or be willing to make changes to your business to work with Acumatica. From my experience when you make a choice of ERP, use the ERP the way it was made - it'll save you a lot of headaches.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are using Acumatica as our system of record and process all inventory and orders through it. Acumatica has provided way more visibility into our business to make key decisions than our previous system did.

"Acumatica End User Review"

What do you like best?

One of the strong points of the software is the usability for the end user. I am able to do all the day to day configuration including creating specialized reporting for all aspects of my business without the need for a third party to come in and do it for the company. This not only helps us with cost control but we are able to get more functionality out of the software by being able to create the reporting when needed and not having to outsource a resource like you would in all other ERP softwares I know of.

What do you dislike?

At the point I have not run into any area of the software that has driven me to the point of having to outsource a resource for help.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Inventory control and business analytics. The auto generation of serialized inventory has been a big help with inventory tracking and costing.

"Bumpy (all ERP setup's are) at first but definitely a solid solution. "

What do you like best?

It was a lot of work and took longer than expected. But once it was running it is very good. Has a very customizable back end and development for it is pretty straight forward, thanks to 6.1 the new REST API is definitely a hit.

What do you dislike?

Initial Setup is a challenge, but once the kinks are worked out it works well. It will take time, but patience is the key as with any major software move.

It's a plus and a minus because it is so customizable so planning your customizations are key.

Recommendations to others considering the product

It will be bumpy, having a person on team that knows accounting really well and a person who can learn software and be the goto person with lots of time to help others. As the learning curve is very slow at first but once you understand the flow and why it works that way it all falls together. Planning is key. This is so granular that the configuration can be a bit of a challenge

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We were operating in seven different systems, and the goal was to bring our entire business process and flow into one solution. We are several companies that all flow up to one owner and this was the best solution to get the job done.

So we are still using two different systems instead of one, but that is much better than before.

"Bang for the buck"

What do you like best?

Acumatica is very intuitive even for not-so-techie. Its overall integration is seamless. You can start from a big picture (i.e., Balance Sheet or P&L) and easily get to one single transaction at the end.

What do you dislike?

Upgrade. I guess any software nowadays requires periodic upgrades.

Still, I'm not a big fan of it.

Converting could not be so easy if you're coming from an old system but it would be worhwhile.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

With three separate operations in three different states, we need a real time integration, as well as traceability and more. Of course, remote working capability is a must, too.

"Why Acumatica? Easy one: Simplicity"

What do you like best?

Acumatica help us to put order in our organization, becuase is very simple to use. All our users say this from Acumatica, other ERP's are very powerfull but also very difficult to manage, so Acumatica gives what we want in the way we want, simple.

What do you dislike?

Acumatica don't have a suite for Service, this is a problem for us because we do post sale service for our products. Also his Fixed Assets suite do not work 100% like we want it, we have a dificult way to manage our fixed assets, we treat them like regular items, so we move them from some place to other from customer to customer, so even if we go for another ERP we are gonna have the same issue.

If you want to do it simple, do it in the Acumatica way.

Simple Workflows, Acumatica don't have a strong module for workflows, but for us it doesn't care because for the simple way of work of Acumatica we don't need it. So we go from A to B in no time.

"Controller"

What do you like best?

I love how Acumatica is web-based, user friendly, and allows for customization. There is also an app for Acumatica, which helps organize T&E reports, minimizing all the clutter of expense receipts.

What do you dislike?

For my business, we base our percent-complete based on budgets compared to the start and end dates, not on actuals booked thus far. This makes certain journal entries a bit more complex in excel, however I'm sure Acumatica will eventually be able to customize this option down the road.

"Support isn't there for the UK market yet"

What do you like best?

Integrations can easily be built with any external software by a developer. All the modules relating to finance very comprehensive and being able to use Microsoft power BI for reporting is a big plus.

What do you dislike?

A few annoying things like very clunky payment matching process and the CRM feature is basically useless.

if you are in the UK i would be very careful about going with this product as there are only a handful of re sellers with limited experiance.

we thought we were solving a problem by getting away from an erp without a finance module which then linked into sage. But TBH we seem to have created more problems for ourselves and what benefit we have acctually gained would be a question.

"My company has had a great experience with Acumatica"

What do you like best?

The ability to adapt to customer changes. Acumatica listens to the needs of their customers and makes an effort to address those concerns in upcoming releases. The financial modules have everything we need to execute our month-end closing procedures.

What do you dislike?

There is not a lot that I dislike, but the system could have better functionality as it relates consolidations. As of now, there is not an easy way to do group consolidation outside of branch accounting. We would like to see the ability to consolidate separate enitites in multiple currencies and run robust reports from that consolidated data.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Acumatica is solving our inventory tracking and manufacturing processing needs. We are able to capture all of our company reporting in one instance and maintain consistnecy accross our entities.

"Transitioning into Acumatica "

What do you like best?

Coming from Sage Software, it looks like Acumatica will allow us to grow to scale and provides more in depth analytics of our sales and operations. It's not as simple to use, but I see this software helping us create operating efficiency and management of our warehouse. I also can't express how useful it is that this software is built on a browser platform. This allows me to work efficiently from anywhere whereas I would always be stuck in my office.

What do you dislike?

It seems like there are multiple steps for simple processes such as sales orders, purchase orders, etc. Coming from Sage, everything was a simple 1-2 step process. Acumatica seems to be a 3-5 steps for all of these similar tasks. Also, if you go into a print screen and forget to save your work, you'll lose everything by clicking on back. The action tab needs to be available in the print screen to prevent data loss. The sales order process is also quite cumbersome. The training is a key aspect in learning how to use Acumatica. We are in the training process right now and will hopefully go live in two weeks.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Know what your getting into and understand that you'll have to clean up your whole database before going in. It's not as simple as importing your data if you don't have your data properly formatted and organized. Acumatica can be a great tool for growing your business, but you'll have to go through the growing pains in setting up all your data properly for import and the training process to ensure all users have proper knowledge in how to use the software. The hardest thing for long time employees to accept was going through new daily processes.

We are working to create operating efficiency, sales analytics to help with purchasing, and warehouse management, along with integrating a CRM and customer portal. One of our biggest issues in the business is with warehouse mispicks. This upsets customers and Acumatica will help us integrate into lot tracking and also factoring in warehouse management at some point.

"Best ERP System I've used"

What do you like best?

Acumatica is a great system and the user interface it so easy to use. The system is also very versitle and can easily be customized to meet our company's needs.

What do you dislike?

There are very few things I can say I dislike about Acumatica. There are a few quirks but the one thing that I wish was different is the way it handles shipping tables. On multiple shipment orders the system will apply shipping charges to each shipment, not just on the first shipment.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Before moving to Acumatica we had many manual processes and had limited visibility to our data. Using Acumatica we have been able to streamline and automate processes and we have real time visibility of our operations.

"Good experience with the ERP & Partner"

What do you like best?

Good financial reporting tools, and operational capatility. The ERP has a very easy to use interface and as it is on the cloud you can access anywhere.

I also Like that you can configure your organizational tree (easy to use) The authorizations run very effectively.

What do you dislike?

CRM integration / Price list management. I would like to have more options to stablish different pricing Methods. Like: Stablishing a Price list for a specific Customer or Kind of Customer.

I expected much more of the "Regionalization". Mexican law requires special functionalities and it accomplish them, just ok. But it lacks of reports and controls that are needed to confirm that we are doing ok.

Id like a more powerful / cash flow report. It gives information just of the next 30 days. It should give information (Weekly or monthly) For the next 12 months.

It is a Powerful ERP, but it has its own limitations, to know those limitations is important so you can make a good choice.

The mayn reason to change our ERP to ACUMATICA is to improve our control and operations in Purchase planning & control, account payable authorizations. But we have improved also the financial controls, reporting, and auditing, thanks to the reporting engine that works really well.

We are also taking good advantage of the inventory module.

"Acumatica is a wonderful product, and ensures financial accuracy. "

What do you like best?

As a user of both Acumatica and also Quickbooks, I can see just how important it is to have a proper ERP that fits your company. Our company found that we had outgrown Quickbooks, and wanted a program that went the extra mile to organize some of the more perplexing areas in our business. Better decisions lead to better performance in every company, and we have found that Acumatica is the perfect tool to guide us to better decision making,

What do you dislike?

Acumaitca can be monotonous at times, especially when it comes to correcting minor mistakes that are made. When a document is released in Acumatica, there is no room for error, and no chance to make tiny corrections. You are punished by having to reverse out the incorrect document, and then add the same document you worked on back in with the proper corrections. The ability to copy documents helps, but it can be time consuming if a lot of mistakes are made.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Highly recommend Acumatica, but make sure to work with those necessary to properly implement the system into your company, You want to make sure it is done correctly.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Acumatica has helped us solve many business problems. We needed a record keeping program that logged time for our developers in order to take advantage of a research & development tax credit that is very beneficial to companies in our field. Now that we have Acumatica, that information is easily available. and we can store any supporting documentation conveniently within the system. This alone saves us thousands of dollars each year.

"Excited to continue to grow on the platform"

What do you like best?

I like that the platform is online and estensible. Acumatica is continuing to evolve and grow on a regular basis, almost at a clip that is difficult to keep up with from a business perspective.

What do you dislike?

Acumatica is a monolithic application, something that I would love to see deconstructed and rebuilt around a microservices architecture. The physical server requirements for the system fluctuate throughout the day and because of that we are required to purchase hardware to support our toughest loads. Ideally the system would scale up or down depending on demand. I would also love to see less scheduled actions and more event-driven actions. The idea that I have to schedule how often email is sent from the system, and can only schedule it to occur as quickly as every minute, is not consistent, in my opinion, with what Acumatica represents technologically speaking.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are replacing our custom-built ERP system and separate accounting system (MS GP) with Acumatica. Combining the two systems will be a significant leap forward for the organization.

"Very intuitive product. Easy to provide transparency to all users and shareholders of the company."

What do you like best?

Inutitiveness of the product. I feel like individuals who have no experiences with an ERP system can easily pickup Acumatica and perform basic accounting functions. The reporting tools are extremely customizable and the import scenarios help with batch processing.

What do you dislike?

Dislikes are with programming the reports. We need some work on this and I would lean more towards self-learning sessions or a library of training resources. Currently the only resources that we have were created from our own recordings from our implementation partner.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Purchase orders and transparency and timing of orders has been solved. Also kit assembly of certain manufacutruing units has helped. This was something that was much needed, especially as our capex spend went up, and there was really no insight to how the spend was traveling through the company. Prior financial leadership had weak inventory controls and ordering processes. This has helped us move from periodic inventory to actually attempting a perpetual inventory.

"Acumatica still in growth stage"

What do you like best?

User friendly interface, data integrity, multi department functionality. It is easy to switch from one function to another and follow the steps in the process. I also like the ability to open a new tab and not lose your place in the screen you had open. I like the ability to bring in new partners with the API interface.

What do you dislike?

The fact that Acumatica is growing by finding new partners is a terrific growth plan and is beneficial to help Acumatica have the funds and therefore the resources to invest in the product. However, this objective has been at the sacrifice of developing the core product to meet the needs of the cutomers. There are many steps in the processes that are not logical and in many cases restrictive, but Acumatica is slow to address them. I am glad that Acumatica is spending more on internal R&D and hope that these issues will be resolved.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Our biggest objectives have not been solved yet. We are not using the inventory forecasting, because our original VAR was incompetent and our new VAR is slow and expensive in getting us to where we need to be. Sales History is difficult to bring in due to Acumatica complex requirements, so our VAR has recommended bringing data into a separate SQL table, so not using all internal functionality. THis is just one example

"Acumatica is a fine ERP for our mid size business. "

What do you like best?

The general ledger and accounts payable integration is very good. The ability to download your data into Excel is also ideal. Journal entry submissions and report drill downs are very good.

What do you dislike?

The report writer is not very intuitive and the online help support for the report writer is not very good.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Acumatica is a strong product. The one thing I would recommend is to look into getting a 3rd party reporting tool to go along with Acumatica. We are using Velixo, which integrates with Acumatica very well.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We have been able to create reports that are easily distributed throughout our organization. Once the initial reports are created, it is easy to run for different parts of our business and update for changes. The ability to create multiple ledgers (actual, budget, forecast, statisitcal...) allows us to compare different cuts of the business.

"It's a promising software with a bunch of politics that lead customers to failure."

What do you like best?

It is pretty flexible and it has a lot of potential, especially the generic inquiry. Not too much positive note at this point.

What do you dislike?

Finding a reseller that has a deep understanding of the implementation of Acumatica and hold them accountable. We are over 2 years after golive and we are still having issues to get where we need to be. The politics of the VAR is also one of the worst structure and this will set the customer to being milked with no apprarent results. Frequrent updates that are not backward compatible is also a major issue for Acumatica.

We are trying to streamline our operation process and we have solved some of the issues in Sales, Distribution, and Finance, We are currently operational but we are not optimized or automated and it is really hard to get where we need to be.

"Small but complex company recommends Acumatica"

What do you like best?

Acumatica integrates our financials, order processing, manufacturing, shipping and retail POS systems into one integrated system.

What do you dislike?

It's been a bit of a struggle to get the inventory in the system to match our physical counts.

Recommendations to others considering the product

Acumatica is great, just make sure you have a good VAR, and your experience will be really positive.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We've become much more efficient -- our sales have grown 50% in the three years since we implemented Acumatica, and we've been able to grow sales by 50% while only growing customer service and manufactirng headcount by 20%, and we haven't had to add a single position in finance & accounting!

What do you like best?

Acumatica has enabled our company to get all our a major processes into one system that is scalable, flexible and customizable. The generic inquiries, dashboards and reports have allowed us to have real time data at our fingertips. Being on the cloud and having an effecitve mobile app has imporoved the efficiency of our technicians and office staff and has enabled our growth.

What do you dislike?

Acumatica is a forward looking company and sometimes the updates can cause short term bugs. I recommend customers take their time with updates. Test before you deploy.

"Good ERP for small companies"

What do you like best?

It is a complete software that allows you to manage all your bills, warehouse and others companies things. It allow you to develop new things that and specific enterprise needs. It is easy to use and manage, have and excellent support for the developers and clients and it is in the cloud, so you can access it from anywhere in a computer or even in a smartphone.

Also, It has a developer version where you can create, modify, delete anything that is in real use for user.

What do you dislike?

In the beginning it can be a little complicated to learn and the errors are a bit confusing.

I would recommend this software to any medium or small companies. It is pretty easy to learn and manage and once you adapted, it can be helpful to manage all. It has many sub developers that can also help you with your needs.

"It's a feature rich financial software that also easy to use."

What do you like best?

Robust Financial modules with support of contracts and deferred revenue. Multi-currency is also supported.

What do you dislike?

Integration between CRM and the rest of the modules are lacking. Credit Terms are not flexible enough to handle on-the-fly down payment plus evenly divided remaining amount. Distribution modules usability is average.

Very robust SAAS solution for daily accounting needs.

"Still Have a Lot to Learn"

What do you like best?

I like the customizable aspect of the software, we can do almost anything we want with it. But we just need to learn more to get the most out of it.

What do you dislike?

It isn't as intuitive as I would like. It is taking our team a bit longer to make full use of it than we had hoped.

Allow plenty of time for integration and training, it really is necessary to set it up correctly from the start

Inventory Management. It is very helpful to have end to end tracking of serial numbers for the hardware we bring in and ship out.

"So Far So Good"

What do you like best?

It's web-based, but you can host it either on site, or they can host it for you.

There's a feature where you can make a change to the code, compile, and restart the website, all within the website itself - Pretty cool.

They have the option of licensing it based on the number of _processors_ rather than per user or per transaction which works well for our company.

I also like the download to / upload from excel.

The import scenarios have allowed non-programmers to import information into Acumatica.

What do you dislike?

Although it has a nice integration with Authorize.net out of the box (the only option out-of-the-box), I've been having a lot of trouble sending customer payment profile information to Acumatica via Web Services.

Also, sometimes you get a stack-trace for an error that doesn't give a very good hit as to what is going on.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are a book distributor and we use it to manage our customers, purchase and sales orders, and finances.

"Excellent financial software for small and medium Companies."

What do you like best?

It is very easy to use, The support team is excellent and is one of the first ERP that are hosted in the Cloud. This means that you will be able to access your ERP from your home, work or even your smartphone. It is also secure and is growing very fast this last years.

What do you dislike?

Somethings errors are difficult to understand. However, the support is pretty good, they have deadlines to response and they always put the Customer first.

Based in the cloud, easy to use, the support is amazing, product is stable and it have also a web application.

"Stable and Reliable ERP"

What do you like best?

In the cloud means no hardware to maintain. Software updates are painless. Seamless integration with Magento reduces manual order entry. Automatic replenishments and other task scheduling is simple. Data import tools are easy to use and very powerful. Unlimited users and companies means expansion is easy without additional costs.

What do you dislike?

No access to the ERP if the Internet is down.

Acumatica is a pleasure to use and the people behind the company have a great vision. Their resellers are extremely knowledgable and easy to work with. Support tickets are nearly always answered within minutes from within the USA.

Better inventory management. Huge time savings with Magento integration. Easy integration with other third party software such as PayPal, Avalara and Starship shipping software.

"An Acumatica Review"

What do you like best?

I like the fact that Acumatica is a cloud-based ERP solution. I also like the fact that we can build inquiries pretty easily as opposed to creating custom reports (which can quickly eat up time and money to create). I like the visibility that the system provides, every transaction can be drilled down to a most basic level.

What do you dislike?

I don't like the fact that there can be two locations to acquire the same information--and that the information (while the same) can be represented differently. (Example: Invoices in Accounts Receivable will look different than invoices in Sales Order)

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Implementation was very easy. We went live with Acumatica in about 60 days--and were actually able to conduct business. They were very efficient. The software looks intimidating at first (there are a lot of tabs and modules) but once you have adequate training, the system is excellent.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Our company needed a cloud-based ERP solution, Acumatica has fulfilled that need. Our company also needed more visibility with regards to sales. I think we might have a little more work to do on this, but once we have more data, we will have what we are looking for.

"We Love Acumatica!"

What do you like best?

We love the flexibility of it to our unique business and I love the data reliability that we did not have in our old system. I love that they listen to customers and make valuable updates to the system.

What do you dislike?

I dislike having to pay so much more money for the sales orders and purchase orders to talk to one another. I'm hoping there are some improvements in features to help us out in this area.

We have saved lots of time saved by knowing the data we put in stays in a reliable state. In our old system we had to re-check things several times to make sure nothing happened to the data in the process. It is also nice to have our product data and our accounting processes integrated so we don't have to export from one system and import it into the other system.

What do you like best?

The product is very easy to use and very intuitive. Clients love the look and feel and the extensive functionality felt at their fingertips. Well done and keep new functionality coming

What do you dislike?

The permissions and security functionality needs to be improved and extended so that it is more flexoble and easy to add security based on groups of reference data.

Also /i sdtrungly suggest that the workflow needs to be extended throughout the product

"My experience with ACUMATICA "

What do you like best?

The software is easy to use. It condenses a lot of things onto one page. You can use it on any device and anytime sign in from anywhere I never have to worry about it when I'm traveling. Also because of it's unlimited user model I can add people on and don't have to bother IT to add a new user..

What do you dislike?

It's so easy to learn you don't even think you need training but that's a mistake. Sometimes I'm not sure why something isn't being saved because I really haven't learned how to use the system correctly. There is a lot of info on 1 page -- which is good and bad I guess.

Recommendations to others considering the product

The community that is making up AccuMed to get reminded me of the original Edwards community 20 years ago. They want to improve the product and they listen to customers. It's very easy to get help on the phone and actually speak to executives within ACUMATICA. The partner that I used was very thorough and helpful.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We use it for financials as well as Sales CRM. Because the CRM as easily integrated with the chart of accounts with financials it's very easy to use. Also the expense modules build in so because everything is so easily integrated it's like having a very expensive air P product in the palm of your hand.

"Incredible Software for Small - Mid Sized Companies"

What do you like best?

I love the usability. It's easy to access from anywhere in the world on any device. We use it in all three of our branches across Canada.

What do you dislike?

It's still new and has a lot of kinks to work out. But that being said, it is quick to act and usually the new updates fix the issues.

Jump in! It's painful in the beginning but once your team speaks the same language, its easy to learn.

"Small manufacturer/wholesaler/retailer review of Acumatica"

What do you like best?

Very functional system, easy to use and easy to train new employees on, integrated ERP and POS system. Acumatica seems truly committed to listening to users and incorporating their feedback in order to make the system better and better.

What do you dislike?

Sales analytics and reporting are not very strong.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

It's a relatively new program, so there are some VARs without much experience -- make sure you understand how well your VAR knows Acumatica before choosing a VAR.

Acumatica was the only system that we looked at that provided an integrated ERP/POS system in our price range. We are a small, rural manufacturer and couldn't spend more than a couple hundred thousand dollars on a system.

"Acumatica"

What do you like best?

1 - Unlimited user licensing - One of the key decision factors was that I didn't have to pay per license. All of the other competitors I looked at, you pay per user, and for us, it got to where we weren't going to be able to afford it.

2 - Customer / Vendor portals - Then customer portals and vendor portals were big for me. Other competitors, for if you wanted customer or vendor portals, you bought another user license for that. Not for each customer or vendor, but it was another user license that you bought.

3 - Responsive design - I like the fact with the responsive design of Acumatica, I am not dependent to access my business software from a PC. No matter what device I am on (iPad, Android, iPhone, or any other device I have full access to my software resources. The fact that data being entered in to Acumatica at the office and the sales team in the field have instant access to the data helps us stay on top of business and proactively provide great customer service.

4 - Help within Acumatica - This was one of the deciding factors to go with Acumatica. Within the software, wherever you are you can click on the help and it brings up a help page explaining the current page you're on and what each form means and that's helped me out tremendously.

5 - Uniform design throughout the software - The software GUI is broken into Modules - Company, Finance, Distribution, Configuration, System, etc. Within each module the layout of where to enter data is same through out each module. This shortens the learning curve during employee training.

6 - Search capabilities - Any where in the program you can enter what your looking for in the search bar and the results are displayed like a Google search.

7 - Outlook plug-in - Within Outlook, when you receive an email from a customer, you can click on the Acumatica plugin (within Outlook) and it will query Acumatica and let you know if the contact is in Acumatica or not. If not, it is easy as clicking the add button to enter that contract in Acumatica. This is all done within Outlook. No cutting and pasting from Outlook to your CRM software.

What do you dislike?

We have just gone live and currently I have no dislikes. Time will tell.

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Tight integration between purchase orders and sales order. - My main goal was to find a system that had a tight integration between purchase orders and sales order. A work flow and a order process with efficiency that would help us give timely responses to our customers. Acumatica give us the capability to stay on top of orders issue to Vendors and also ensure the right products are delivered to our customers in a timely fashion.

"Director of Business Systems"

What do you like best?

Open cloud based platform, compatability, scalability, strong framework and user friendly interface.

What do you dislike?

Generic Enquiries, Pivot tables and Dashboard capabilities needs to be enhanced in comparison with Microsoft tools. More variety in terms of various tools and objects. Dynamic Analytical Dashboards will be a big help. I guess I am looking at farther future, but a lot of ERP's are providing on demand dynamic graphical visals.

"Acumatica is a flexible application."

What do you like best?

What I like best about Acumatica is that there are multiple ways execute different processes which allows for flexibility in business process development.

What do you dislike?

I will say that there is a level of effort involved in keeping up with the aggressive development trajectory, but this is also a good thing, as Acumatica is contstantly offering new options for fulfilling business needs.

Consolidated data and the abillity to integrate with other platforms are the two biggest benefits. Again, there are a lot of options for replacing existing processes or integrating with them.

"Still Learning only on for 9 months"

What do you like best?

What I like best it the abilty to attach invoices to entries. I also like being able to reconcile my cash on a daily basis as we are very cash focused. I like the ability to add accounts easily. P&L trending is a great report that we use daily, monthly and for budgeting. I have found the university a great tool and I am enjoying exploring that as well to help with issues I come across.

What do you dislike?

I can't figure out how to get an outstanding check list once I reconcile the bank account. Also, I'm still learning how to change up reports. Its a hurdle for me since I like numbers more.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

Being on 1 system instead of 3. No more INTERCOMPANY!!! Easy to allocate between branches.

"Great Product for a Business Looking for a Cloud Solution"

What do you like best?

One of the main features is the fact that the applicaiton is very user friendly. I love the search capabilities it has. I enjoy being able to access the application from wherever I am. Also, the ability to intergrate our own custom business inventory mnagement software into Acumatica is a definte plus.

What do you dislike?

Difficult some times to get generic inquiries written

The main one we are solving is having all of our branches under one umbrella. We have 14 companies that are all independent but under one parent company.

"Acumatica is the agile solution for our agile business"

What do you like best?

With the combination of customization capabilities and settings options, we have swiftly changed the system to meet our ever-changing business needs.

What do you dislike?

I do not prefer the release cycle of twice a year. We are heavily customized and use several ISVs, which makes upgrade testing and issue resolution difficult to maintain given the twice-a-year cycle.

What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We have redesigned the quoting and vendor pricing updating processes of our business with a custom Opportunity screen - which has taken a process that used to take hours to a matter of minutes.

"Changes is Fun with the Right software"

What do you like best?

The ability to drill down to information. The answer may not be right in front of you but with this software the ability to continue to get more details is at your fingertips.

What do you dislike?

Sometimes customization becomes a little hiccup, especially if you aren't able to answer the question at had through normal GI's.

Recommendations to others considering the product:

Have a good strong partner who will be helping to implement. Shoot for the moon in what you want out of the system, that way when you miss you might at least be orbiting.

Some transactions have been simplfied for accounting. The customer service side is approving as the more we have developed it for our business. As we continue the reports will help continue to grow our business.

What do you like best?

This product is not user friendly. I do not enjoy using this product.

What do you dislike?

The amount of user errors this system allows is very high. I do not find this product easy to use. The search functions are atrocious.

What do you like best?

I like that Acumatica has a unique licensing structure. I also like that Acumatica is web-based. I also like the flexibility in the security roles that Acumatica gives IT.

What do you dislike?

I wish older versions had some of the modern dashboards built into it. In addition I their is room for improvements where its competitor has already established some of these additional features and functions.

What do you like best?

Acumatica has all the business administration features that major ERP systems have but, the features in Acumatica have much more depth, flexibility and extensibility. The large depth of the features covers all common and complex business scenarios in Finance (GL, Cash Management,, AP, AR), Sales (Quotes, Sales orders, shipments, returns, ..), Purchasing (Product Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Product receipts, Billing, Payment processing), Inventory (items, assemblies, kits, warehouses, lots, bins, serial #, ..), Project Management, Fixed Asset Management, HR (payroll, employee Management), Tax Management. The flexibility is enabled by the configuration capability in Acumatica. The end user can easily set the parameters for eg. inventory replenishment, item costing, GL account preference for stock, non stock and service items, etc. This is done without any programming. The extensibility enables the end user to add fields to a screen or form or report without any programming. The end user can embed Sharepoint sites, any webpages, and any self created wiki pages.

In addition to this, the Web REST Services API and SDK of the Acumatica ERP platform enables an Independent Software Vendor to add industry specific applications such as Discrete Manufacturing Management, Retail Management Systems, Warehouse Management Systems, Parcel carrier systems, Tax Management systems, Property management systems, Construction Management systems, Field service Management systems, etc. All the above industry specific applications are already today integrated with Acumatica ERP, and running at many businesses with great success.

The pricing is not per user but, per suite and module, and per computer resource (cores). If I add some sales people, I don't have to pay extra.

The support of Acumatica is phenomenal. Their online training and guides are really thorough, accurate and complete. Yes you will have to study hard but, you will get to master an ERP that is so powerful that you will be able to do everything you want.

This is a true cloud ERP that can run in your private cloud, in a public cloud or on your servers. The software performance can easily handle many thousands of transactions a day.

Benefits

The benefits are as follows:

. I can now really master the cash flow situation of my company, and if there are problems, I can spot them ahead and identify them at the level needed. I avoid the typical cash shortage crises when payroll is due.

. I avoid overstocking and understocking items

. I can now easily do a cost break-even analysis so that when I need to decide to hire more people, I can find out from my cost break-even analysis how much more sales I need to generate to cover the cost of added personnel.

"Great Product"

What do you like best?

I love Acumatica's easy to use interface. I love that is Web Based so i can access it anywhere anytime.

What do you dislike?

Somethings do not seem to translate well. We have a in house proccess where we build parts in house so we need build sheets and the base model of acumatica does not come with this so we had to create our own program to do this for us.

There are some flaws, reports are not the easiest things to create, but program navigation and use are super simple.

What do you like best?

Acumatica's flexibility to adapt to client needs is a welcome departure from previous packages we have used.

What do you dislike?

While flexibility is the biggest benefit for us with Acumatica, it also requires an incredible amount of coordination with your implementation partner in order to achieve the desired outcome.

System driven reporting is the biggest problem we have solved with Acumatica, as previously we handled almost all reporting outside of our accounting package via Excel.

"Worst Software decision ever"

What do you like best?

not really anything at this point it is very slow and does not work as promised

What do you dislike?

the software was over sold, it underperformed and never ever did what they promised it would. An old version was installed on our server and when i asked to be upgraded to the most current version I was told i had to wait then they wanted to charge me to install what i should have had in the beginning, not that it matters none of it really works anyway
