What do you like best?

Quotewerks has an immense number of features. We broad utilize the configurator and packs that help our staff lessen botches. We have Quotewerks connected to our main page and that lessens the measure of twofold keying and gives a review trail between the two frameworks. Quotewerks has a low value point making it perfect for organizations to begin utilizing a CPQ apparatus. Quotewerks backing is awesome on the grounds that you get the opportunity to converse with an individual about your issues with the product. One administration we utilized that was useful was a 1 hour audit of how we have our product setup and proposals for best practices.

What do you dislike?

The main disadvantage is that Quotewerks must run locally. However tere is a web version being developed, yet it is still really green. In the event that you have to utilize it remotely you will require either Terminal Services or VPN to get to it. Other disadvantage is that the Quote Valet add-on gives it some web network highlights which are useful for review existing statements and reacting to clients, however not really for structure new statements. When they get the web adaptation completed, that should help with this a great deal. The software can likewise be a tad kludgy to learn at first. What do you like best?

This software integrates nicely with Connectwise. I like being able to create the opportunity in Connectwise through Quotewerks. This saves me some time. I also like the etlize product catalog, which is fairly accurate and pulls many of our part descriptions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

I wish there was a cloud based version as we are on the cloud based Connectwise. It would make it easier for our sales team to work remote without having to use extra software pieces. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

When we switched to Connectwise we wanted a quoting tool that would integrate. This had a pricing model that worked better for us that the other options. What do you like best?

I like how this makes working our accounting team and sales staff hassle free and all the info generated is taken directly into our CRM and Quickbooks for our accounting division. Before using QuoteWerks, all of our proposals were made inhouse iwith a PDF Template, this became tedious and very unorganized quick. Once we started using QuoteWerks, all we had to do was supply the details of our proposal and they would create a professional document to send to the client. What do you like best?

This software has some basic functionalities and is pretty easy to learn. If you want to put together a basic proposal for a customer to see a price estimate, than this is the right software. It is easy to get the hang of and even young people at the company seemed to be able to use this proficiently in a matter of a week or two. Customer support is pretty available for this. What do you dislike?

There is some limited functionality on quoting abilities. While our product did not have many complexities, others may have more complex quoting needs and therefore you would want to invest in a different software. This is a good software if you want to have a basic quoting software for proposals. If you have a more complex product then you will want to invest in something more capable than this. What do you like best?

It's pretty quick, and customizeable, I can easily type in customer PO's in the ship to lines if needed (so when they receive product the customer knows what PO the product is for. This is well over some home brew systems that force you to create a whole new ship, staying in a database forever. Imagine a customer with 200 orders and having 200 ship to's forever in a database. IT resellers will understand this issue esp when it converts to packing slips through distribution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

I don't dislike it, because I learned something, using API to connect Google Contacts to Quotewerks wasn't hard after I learned how to process it. What do you like best?

It has multiple templates for quotes/proposals - this is good as you may want to include different information depending on product lines quoted, but at the same time make sure the same information is included everytime you quote the same thing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

One of the most unique things I enjoy about quoteworks is tge availability the software allows its users and any user that is. If you are at home working it is an easy to use non expensive software program to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

As with any new system the time it takes to set up the back end of the software so that it performs as you intend it to do. What do you like best?

What do you like best?

Great software for the first step of the sales process only however... 1) Not all info is searchable. 2) Does not integrate with many programs and not all fields integrate. 3) "Tickle" or reminder functions minimal and only in quote valet. 4) reports are clunky and minimal without paying to customize. 5) No workflow automation. 6) Minimal notifications as to quote progresses or when approved to client or inter-company personnel. 7) Interface looks the same as it did in 2012 when we started. 8) Not enough logging of estimates as they change or are updated. 7) No scheduling functions. 9) No "app" for smart phones. 8) Minimal Export functions. 9) Dashboard notification options are very limited to just two integration programs and not for overall quoted work. 10) No Service Operations Automation or Order management. 11) Does not allow for Teams or intercompany groups to be part of an estimate. 12) No intercompany communication short of a new added dynamic notes field which seems to be built with 1995 technology. 13) No auto follow up emails for estimates unless in Quote valet and they are somewhat generic. 14) Does not export "ship to" field to MOST integrated software packages. 15) No ability to auto CC office staff when creating an email template. From out experience it can be difficult to insert drawings/images and other multimedia into the quotes. We have had some stability issues in the past but the current release seems to have solved that Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

I love the ability of QuoteWerks to filter out and target exactly who might be in the market of insurance. It finds potential customers in the area and provides a large database that is easily accessible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

I like the ease of use and how the product ties into our other softwares and helps to manage our configurations for renewals. We use connectwise so it integrates well with it. It also pull all information from the vendors that we have linked through it. The product makes delivery quotes, proposals, scopes of work, renewals, and other sales packets easy. I diislike how slow the application is. We have upgraded many times, but no matter what the speed of the application lags. the appearance of the application is outdated and can use a facelift (new image). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Use the product to its full capabilities. It does have the ability to only quote from, but the most impact you will get from the product is to use it as it is intended. Dont manually type everything in. It is best to upload all your company data and take the time to make sure it is all correct. As of right now we do not currently use quotewerks to its full ability. it does tend to become confusing without the proper training from the vendor. It is hard for us to understand the greatness of quotewerks since we only use the basics for it. I am sorry that you are running into a speed issue. Have you spoken with our Technical Support (https://www.quotewerks.com/support.asp) about what you are experiencing? We have experienced technicians that will help determine possible causes (environment, database maintenance, upgrading Database, etc).

As far as the interface is concerned, we released version 5.3 of QuoteWerks that has an updated interface and also recently announced QuoteWerks Web (https://www.quotewerks.com/quotewerksweb.asp). QuoteWerks Web has a new interface that we have received numerous positive comments about.

What do you like best?

Quotewerks is great because it's a functional tool that integrates with our CRM, allows us to collect payments at the time of sale (QuoteValet), and the price is reasonable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Extremely old design. Requires server version to get use out of it. Hard to grasp if you're a new user. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Make sure you have a resource dedicated to learning the software before rolling it out to your team. There are so many places to update information, and you want to ensure someone knows exactly how to use it and can provide support to your team if needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Problems solved: ease of quoting clients and collecting downpayments at point of sale. Greatest benefit is being able to move on something without waiting for a check to be mailed and deposited, we can get started as soon as they make payment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

The integrations between our vendors and accounting package make the process of generating a professional quote through placing an order extremely easy. In the past what would take our company days to do can all be done within minutes - no exaggerating! The output is consistent and professional. The details are accurate. Overall it is a wonderful time saver. if you are in the business of IT sales this should be a requirement for your toolkit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

There isn't much to not like about QuoteWerks. In my scenario it requires my accounting package (QuickBooks) to be open for its integration to work correctly. This means that each QuoteWerks user needs a QuickBooks license also. I understand why it has to be done so I am not complaining all that much. I am just noting that if there was a different way to do it I could save on some QuickBooks licensing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

My entire team hated to respond to sales requests! now with QuoteWerks I can generate an accurate, professional, standardized quote in minutes.
