I’ve found Snapchat frustrating for a few reasons. The layout can be really tricky to figure out, especially when you’re new to it, and just when I get used to it, they roll out another update that changes everything. I also worry about privacy, especially with features like Snap Map that show my location to others—it just feels a bit too invasive. The ads drive me crazy, especially the ones I can’t skip, which totally interrupt the experience. On top of that, finding new friends or content isn’t as easy as it is on other apps. And I’ve noticed it drains my phone’s battery super quickly when I use filters or the camera. All these things make Snapchat less enjoyable for me.
