Honestly, Tally is an absolute 10/10 and exactly what I needed as a beginner. It is incredibly easy to use. You just start typing on a blank page to build your form, which makes the whole process completely stress-free. Because it is so simple, I can deploy a new form in a matter of minutes. What really surprised me is how beautifully it embeds into my website. The forms look clean and professional right out of the box without any complicated setup. Right now I am just using Tally for my personal hobby projects, but it is so reliable that I will absolutely be using it for all my needs when I turn these into a full venture. Recently I went and made a long form, like a Scope of Work Agreement Form that included many info about project, process etc. Basically it is a long text doc with signature and one button at the end. What frustrates me is how text formatting works, sometimes when I copy paste some text from other doc - Tally adds spacing between the lines. Or when I want to make a list, not for answers, but just for text, it's a real mess, cause then I need to add the bullets myself or ask AI to edit it etc. And it would be much easier if it would just have a simple list icon when editing font properties like Bold, Italic etc. Also, maybe then text alignment may come in handy too, not sure about this one. Other thing is "Enter thing". Like when I paste a long text block and then want to break it down with return to create separate entities, which then I can style differently, Tally can lag, or misbehave, in general that process needs some thinking from your side, so it would be great to improve that as well. The best part is the unlimited access with no restrictions—I can use it as much as I need. I work as a Dietician & Nutritionist, manage a homeopathy clinic, and also create health education content. My work involves registrations, feedback collection, wellness programs, and collecting information from participants, so having an easy form builder is very helpful. What I like most about Tally is how simple it is to create forms. The document-style editor feels natural, and I can build forms by simply typing questions. It does not take much time to set up a form, and the interface is clean and easy to understand. I use it for registration forms, feedback forms, participant information forms, and health education activities. Features like multiple choice questions, ratings, file uploads, contact fields, conditional logic, and hidden fields help me collect information in a more organized way. The insane amount of features that you can get for free, plus all of the customization possible, including really solid conditional logic and flow. Their support responds super-fast, and their platform is very responsive in terms of performance. They have good integration choices and their UI/ux is super user-friendly and flexible. What I like best about Tally is that it feels simple on the surface, but it can handle surprisingly complex workflows when you need it to. I used it to build a scored assessment with calculated fields, conditional logic, result routing, tie-breakers, and multiple Thank You pages.

What really stood out, though, was the support team. They didn’t just send generic help docs. They actually looked at my use case, explained what Tally could handle natively, clarified the limitations, and gave practical guidance for how to structure the logic. The main downside is that more advanced logic can get manual pretty quickly. Tally handles calculated fields, conditional logic, and result routing well, but if you’re building something more complex, like ranked scores, score gaps, tie-breakers, or multi-result logic, you may need to create helper fields and compare things step by step.

What I dislike is that there’s no way to import structured data like JSON and automatically convert it into a working form. It is an absolute joy to use Tally. Truly one of the best software products I've ever used. Extremely tight use case (not trying to do too many things), exceptionally clean and easy to use UI, with advanced features easily discoverable. We are doing some advanced routing of forms and logic based on incoming URL parameters and Tally handles everything flawlessly.
