"Simple on the Surface, Powerful Under the Hood — and Outstanding Support"
What do you like best about Tally?

What I like best about Tally is that it feels simple on the surface, but it can handle surprisingly complex workflows when you need it to. I used it to build a scored assessment with calculated fields, conditional logic, result routing, tie-breakers, and multiple Thank You pages.

What really stood out, though, was the support team. They didn’t just send generic help docs. They actually looked at my use case, explained what Tally could handle natively, clarified the limitations, and gave practical guidance for how to structure the logic. The replies were thoughtful, clear, and fast, which made a complex build feel much more manageable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tally?

The main downside is that more advanced logic can get manual pretty quickly. Tally handles calculated fields, conditional logic, and result routing well, but if you’re building something more complex, like ranked scores, score gaps, tie-breakers, or multi-result logic, you may need to create helper fields and compare things step by step.

That said, Tally is already building out its AI builder, and I’d love to see more advanced conditional logic support become part of that experience over time. That feels like the natural next step. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fast, Minimalist Form Builder with Polished Results, Plus Unlimited Free Forms"
What do you like best about Tally?

Tally.so is a minimalist, no-code form builder that feels a lot like working in a text editor. What makes it stand out is how quickly you can create polished, professional-looking forms using simple slash commands. The setup is genuinely fast and straightforward. Unlike many competitors, it gives you unlimited forms and responses for free, and it still includes advanced options such as conditional logic and payment collection. Overall, it’s a great pick if you want a clean, modern design without the cost or complexity that often comes with traditional survey tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tally?

Design customization is limited, since you’re essentially stuck with a “Notion-style” layout. The analytics are also pretty basic, and I often end up exporting the data elsewhere to get what I need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Tally.so: Simple, Modern Forms with Powerful Logic and Integrations"
What do you like best about Tally?

I like Tally.so the best because it combines simplicity with powerful features. The interface feels as easy as writing in a document, yet it supports advanced logic, conditional flows, and integrations without complexity. It saves time, looks modern, and works reliably without technical hassle. Compared to other form builders, it gives me more flexibility while staying intuitive and fast to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tally?

What I dislike is that there’s no way to import structured data like JSON and automatically convert it into a working form. For more advanced or large-scale setups, this makes it harder to quickly generate forms programmatically, which would be a huge advantage for power users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Form Creation, Seamless CRM Integration"
What do you like best about Tally?

I like Tally because it is so easy to use and requires no setup. I can create forms in minutes and the integration with CRM systems is straightforward. I also appreciate that no special training is needed to start working with it. The support is good, and I particularly enjoy the data capturing feature, which even captures partially filled data. Using Tally with n8n and Zoho CRM for automation has been seamless. We use Tally.so almost daily for our events, internal workflows etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tally?

There are a few things that can be improved or added. For example, version history would be useful to see who made what changes and to restore forms to the last working version. Also, there should be a polling/voting feature included in a form. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive, Quick Setup for Non-Techies"
What do you like best about Tally?

I like that Tally provides me with an easily-built platform that I can deploy very quickly without a lot of technical fussing about. Being not particularly tech-oriented, I find it intuitive in most cases. I've tried many apps and been defeated by assumptions about my tech knowledge, but Tally is a rare victory for me. The initial setup was super simple and satisfying, allowing me to create and field a useful tool very quickly. It's great that as a solopreneur, I can use it without an enormous time suck, and I appreciate having Tally to field on my own. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Design-Forward Forms, Effortless Integration"
What do you like best about Tally?

I think Tally is the best form builder out there. It's so clean and efficient, and they've really thought about the design, which looks good. There are many ways to toggle it to match the graphic design and brand design that you want. It's efficient in collecting information from people applying to take our course and connects to our CRM, which is really nice. I love that they care about the color palette; I can completely edit the form's color palette so it blends seamlessly with the website, reducing friction and making everything feel native and seamless. Being able to add a logo, pictures, and have a subdomain for the form itself are great features showing they understand user needs, which I value a lot. Tally makes sure your form doesn't look bad and fits right into the website, providing a seamless experience. I appreciate how easy, seamless, and straightforward the initial setup was, and they constantly improve their interface, making it better for users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tally?

Nothing. They're rocking it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Everything You Need for Form Creation: Templates, Conditional Logic, and Hidden Fields"
What do you like best about Tally?

It has everything I need for form creation: templates (not a huge number, but enough, and they’re well made), conditional logic (so you can customize the form based on data you collected in a previous step, for example), and hidden fields to help track the form’s source. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tally?

I think it would be helpful to add a statistics graph on the form list page so you can quickly see submission traffic. Right now it only shows the total number of submissions for each form, and to view the stats you first have to open the form editor. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simplifies Surveys, Affordable for Teams"
What do you like best about Tally?

I like Tally for its simplicity in using and managing as a team. A lot of other software is clunky and restricts you, often coming with extortionate prices for users. Tally is really streamlined for adding other members of the team who may not use it very often, avoiding the extremely expensive per-user pricing. Additionally, the initial setup of Tally was really easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tally?

It's limited in that you can't send it out with unique links like other software, but not a big deal for us as most of our research surveys are anonymous. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive, Free, and Seamlessly Integrated with Slack"
What do you like best about Tally?

Tally is super easy to use and very intuitive. All of the free features met my needs, so I never felt the need to upgrade to a paid plan. It also integrates with our Slack channel, which is a great bonus. This allows us to monitor help request tickets, feedback submissions, onboarding surveys, and any other forms that come through in real time so we can respond quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tally?

At first, I found their conditional logic a bit confusing. However, it must have been consistent feedback from users, because they recently released an update that addressed the issue and made it much easier to work with. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Form Building with Beautiful Results"
What do you like best about Tally?

I find Tally really easy to use, especially for building forms. It's almost like writing a Word document, which makes it really user-friendly. The forms are not only easy to create but also beautifully minimalistic and clean. Tally allows for easy insertion of various blocks, accommodating different types of data beyond just emails, numbers, and text. Additionally, Tally's integrations with platforms like Airtable and Notion are really helpful, keeping everything synchronized. The setup process was absolutely easy for my team, even for those who aren't tech-savvy, and the pro plan suits a large organization perfectly with its workspace and user management functionalities. It's great that we made the switch from our previous service to Tally. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tally?

I mean, for example, these things are the dashboards. If I would like to have the information within dashboards, I wouldn't necessarily have to use an integration. Right? So to deploy my dashboard within Airtable with Notion, It's something that's not integrated yet in Tally, but I think that could be improved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
