## Tally Reviews
 ### 1. Flexible Form Builder for Registrations, Surveys and Data Collection

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ishan S. | Manager and Dietician at Chaitanya Homoeo Clinic, Medical Store Owner, Content Creator, Hospital & Health Care, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Tally?**

I work as a Dietician & Nutritionist, manage a homeopathy clinic, and also create health education content. My work involves registrations, feedback collection, wellness programs, and collecting information from participants, so having an easy form builder is very helpful. What I like most about Tally is how simple it is to create forms. The document-style editor feels natural, and I can build forms by simply typing questions. It does not take much time to set up a form, and the interface is clean and easy to understand. I use it for registration forms, feedback forms, participant information forms, and health education activities. Features like multiple choice questions, ratings, file uploads, contact fields, conditional logic, and hidden fields help me collect information in a more organized way. I also like that forms can be customized without making the process complicated.

Performance has been good during regular use. Forms load quickly, editing feels smooth, and managing responses is easy. Sharing forms is also simple, which helps when collecting information from different people. Another thing I like is that I can create different types of forms for different activities without much effort. The integration options are useful, and they help reduce manual work when managing collected information. Overall, Tally is easy to use, easy to implement, and provides a good set of features without feeling complicated. It helps me manage registrations, feedback, and information collection in a simple and organized way.

**What do you dislike about Tally?**

I like how clean and professional Tally forms look, but sometimes I want a little more control over the design. The customization options work well, but I occasionally spend extra time adjusting the layout to make the form look exactly the way I want. This is mostly for registration forms or program forms. The forms already look good, but a few more design options would be nice.

**What problems is Tally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps solve the problem of collecting and organizing information in a simple way. It makes it easier to create forms for registrations, feedback, information requests, and other data collection needs without spending much time on setup. The different field types, conditional logic, and response collection features help gather the right information in a structured format. This makes forms easier to manage and helps keep responses organized.

It also saves time because forms can be created, shared, and updated quickly. Having responses collected in one place makes it easier to review information and manage follow-up activities when needed. I also find it useful when different forms are needed for different activities. The flexibility of the form builder makes it easy to adjust forms without starting from scratch each time.

Overall, Tally helps simplify form creation and data collection, making day-to-day information management more efficient and organized. It reduces manual work and helps keep information easier to track and review.

 ### 2. Simple on the Surface, Powerful Under the Hood — and Outstanding Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yannick P. | Founder & Creative Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 30, 2026

**What do you like best about Tally?**

What I like best about Tally is that it feels simple on the surface, but it can handle surprisingly complex workflows when you need it to. I used it to build a scored assessment with calculated fields, conditional logic, result routing, tie-breakers, and multiple Thank You pages.

What really stood out, though, was the support team. They didn’t just send generic help docs. They actually looked at my use case, explained what Tally could handle natively, clarified the limitations, and gave practical guidance for how to structure the logic. The replies were thoughtful, clear, and fast, which made a complex build feel much more manageable.

**What do you dislike about Tally?**

The main downside is that more advanced logic can get manual pretty quickly. Tally handles calculated fields, conditional logic, and result routing well, but if you’re building something more complex, like ranked scores, score gaps, tie-breakers, or multi-result logic, you may need to create helper fields and compare things step by step.

That said, Tally is already building out its AI builder, and I’d love to see more advanced conditional logic support become part of that experience over time. That feels like the natural next step.

**What problems is Tally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tally is helping me build and validate a fairly sophisticated assessment workflow without needing to custom-code the whole thing from scratch. I’m using it for a scored quiz that routes people to different result pages based on their answers, including calculated scores, conditional logic, and follow-up email flows.

The biggest benefit is speed. I can test the quiz experience, refine the logic, and improve the respondent journey without having to involve a developer at every step. For an early-stage project, that makes a huge difference because I can move quickly, stay lean, and still create something that feels polished and intentional.

It also gives me a clean way to collect responses, segment people by result, and connect the form to the next part of my workflow.

 ### 3. Fast, Minimalist Form Builder with Polished Results, Plus Unlimited Free Forms

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jatin B. | Sr. SEO Expert, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Tally?**

Tally.so is a minimalist, no-code form builder that feels a lot like working in a text editor. What makes it stand out is how quickly you can create polished, professional-looking forms using simple slash commands. The setup is genuinely fast and straightforward. Unlike many competitors, it gives you unlimited forms and responses for free, and it still includes advanced options such as conditional logic and payment collection. Overall, it’s a great pick if you want a clean, modern design without the cost or complexity that often comes with traditional survey tools.

**What do you dislike about Tally?**

Design customization is limited, since you’re essentially stuck with a “Notion-style” layout. The analytics are also pretty basic, and I often end up exporting the data elsewhere to get what I need.

**What problems is Tally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tally.so addresses the issue of expensive, overly complex form builders by making form creation feel as simple as typing a document. It removes the usual “paywalls” around basic features, so you can collect unlimited responses and use logic (like skipping questions) completely for free.

 ### 4. Tally.so: Simple, Modern Forms with Powerful Logic and Integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Martin S. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Tally?**

I like Tally.so the best because it combines simplicity with powerful features. The interface feels as easy as writing in a document, yet it supports advanced logic, conditional flows, and integrations without complexity. It saves time, looks modern, and works reliably without technical hassle. Compared to other form builders, it gives me more flexibility while staying intuitive and fast to use.

**What do you dislike about Tally?**

What I dislike is that there’s no way to import structured data like JSON and automatically convert it into a working form. For more advanced or large-scale setups, this makes it harder to quickly generate forms programmatically, which would be a huge advantage for power users.

**What problems is Tally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tally.so solves the problem of collecting clear, structured customer requirements for bespoke bags without endless back-and-forth emails.

In my case, customers often don’t know exactly what information I need — sizes, materials, print details, quantities, etc. Tally lets me guide them step by step through a form, so I get all the essential details upfront.

 ### 5. Easy Advanced Questionnaires with Strong Privacy and EU Data Hosting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Niels S. | gerant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Tally?**

It’s really easy to build advanced questionnaires, and there are a lot of options even in the free version, which makes it easy to really learn how to use the platform. I also love that privacy is taken seriously and that my data stays in Europe.

**What do you dislike about Tally?**

I’d really like to be able to edit and search the data directly in the database, instead of having to export it first.

**What problems is Tally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a small NGO with limited resources, but we still need to manage quite a bit of member data. The different forms help us collect the information we need and keep everything organized and functional.

 ### 6. Intuitive Form Builder with Superb Customization

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andrea V. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Tally?**

I really like how easy Tally is to use, with an interface that's super intuitive and works a lot better than other form plugins or builders I've tried. It's particularly good with analytics and integration, allowing me to see all the data and where people might drop off in the form flow. Tally makes the form-building process very easy and has all the fields I need with highly customizable options. It's easy to embed in a NextJS front end, and it works really well. Creating complex forms like job applications and onboarding forms that require a lot of qualifications and documentation is effortless. I can easily set up forms with multiple pages and sections. Tally's integration with CRMs like HubSpot is also a plus, and I'm very happy about that. Compared to others like WS Form, Tally's interface is much faster, more intuitive, and modern. It's a beautiful form builder that offers more speed and flexibility. The setup is very easy, and there's so much customization available to make forms really unique and beautiful. It's incredibly user-friendly, even for those who aren't developers.

**What do you dislike about Tally?**

At the start, I had to kind of play around a little bit embedding it into the front end of the NextJS website. I was struggling with the auto height and having the height of the form be automatic to fit the page and not create an extra scroll bar for the form. Also, I found that the default redirect page was scrolling to the wrong point. I chose to create a custom redirect for my forms and make more on brand with the rest of the website. I didn't bother investigate that issue that much, but I am sure the support team would have helped navigate that as well.

**What problems is Tally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Tally makes form building super easy and customizable, which is great for complex job applications and onboarding. It's intuitive, works better than other plugins, integrates easily with my front end, and offers excellent analytics to track form interactions.

 ### 7. Effortless Form Creation, Seamless CRM Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ashutosh J. | Senior Manager, Education Management, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 18, 2026

**What do you like best about Tally?**

I like Tally because it is so easy to use and requires no setup. I can create forms in minutes and the integration with CRM systems is straightforward. I also appreciate that no special training is needed to start working with it. The support is good, and I particularly enjoy the data capturing feature, which even captures partially filled data. Using Tally with n8n and Zoho CRM for automation has been seamless. We use Tally.so almost daily for our events, internal workflows etc.

**What do you dislike about Tally?**

There are a few things that can be improved or added. For example, version history would be useful to see who made what changes and to restore forms to the last working version. Also, there should be a polling/voting feature included in a form.

**What problems is Tally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Tally for lead capturing and information gathering. It's easy to use, requires no special training, integrates easily with CRM, and even captures partially filled data.

 ### 8. Effortless Setup, Seamless Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lydia H. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 11, 2026

**What do you like best about Tally?**

I really love how easy Tally is to use with its simple UI. It's particularly great that the UI doesn't feel jarring and fits seamlessly into any journey, being in black and white. I also like that I can do smart things, like capturing data based on a URL without the person submitting the form knowing. Tally's ability to connect with systems like make.com and Shopify to automate tasks is a big plus, making it easy to integrate into existing workflows. The ease of setup was a big win for me as well.

**What do you dislike about Tally?**

Nothing

**What problems is Tally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tally helps streamline customer service, capturing complex data and automating processes to enhance customer experiences. Its simplicity removes manual work, integrates well with tools like Shopify, and makes complex operations seem easy.

 ### 9. Intuitive, Quick Setup for Non-Techies

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael W. | CEO | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Tally?**

I like that Tally provides me with an easily-built platform that I can deploy very quickly without a lot of technical fussing about. Being not particularly tech-oriented, I find it intuitive in most cases. I've tried many apps and been defeated by assumptions about my tech knowledge, but Tally is a rare victory for me. The initial setup was super simple and satisfying, allowing me to create and field a useful tool very quickly. It's great that as a solopreneur, I can use it without an enormous time suck, and I appreciate having Tally to field on my own.

**What do you dislike about Tally?**

Nothing

**What problems is Tally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Tally to create a diagnostic questionnaire for my ICPs quickly and easily, even as a non-techy. It provides an intuitive platform I can set up in an hour, making it accessible and not a time suck.

 ### 10. Design-Forward Forms, Effortless Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Savannah K. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Tally?**

I think Tally is the best form builder out there. It's so clean and efficient, and they've really thought about the design, which looks good. There are many ways to toggle it to match the graphic design and brand design that you want. It's efficient in collecting information from people applying to take our course and connects to our CRM, which is really nice. I love that they care about the color palette; I can completely edit the form's color palette so it blends seamlessly with the website, reducing friction and making everything feel native and seamless. Being able to add a logo, pictures, and have a subdomain for the form itself are great features showing they understand user needs, which I value a lot. Tally makes sure your form doesn't look bad and fits right into the website, providing a seamless experience. I appreciate how easy, seamless, and straightforward the initial setup was, and they constantly improve their interface, making it better for users.

**What do you dislike about Tally?**

Nothing. They're rocking it.

**What problems is Tally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Tally efficient and visually appealing, helping us seamlessly collect information from course applicants. It integrates smoothly with our CRM, enhancing form submission management by automating email notifications and pushing form data into Airtable.

 ### 11. Everything You Need for Form Creation: Templates, Conditional Logic, and Hidden Fields

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Martha F. | Marketing Staff, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Tally?**

It has everything I need for form creation: templates (not a huge number, but enough, and they’re well made), conditional logic (so you can customize the form based on data you collected in a previous step, for example), and hidden fields to help track the form’s source.

**What do you dislike about Tally?**

I think it would be helpful to add a statistics graph on the form list page so you can quickly see submission traffic. Right now it only shows the total number of submissions for each form, and to view the stats you first have to open the form editor.

**What problems is Tally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

You can easily create forms for marketing campaigns on social media, email, or other sources without needing to program anything manually. It’s faster to set up and delivers the same conversion.

 ### 12. Effortless Surveys with Professional Look

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Truman D. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Tally?**

I love using Tally for its clean look and ease of use. It makes creating surveys straightforward and enhances the experience for my customers when they are filling out forms. The ability to create a survey that looks professional and having a full data export to run my own analysis is really beneficial. The initial setup was very easy, with almost no setup required, which was great.

**What do you dislike about Tally?**

Sometimes the view on mobile isn't the best it could be. For longer questions with rating, the details on the rating scale (like 1-5) don't fit—they get cut off, so I had to take them out.

**What problems is Tally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tally allows me to create professional surveys with full data export for analysis. Its clean and easy-to-use interface enhances the experience for me and my customers.

 ### 13. Simplified Form Creation with Tally

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yana K. | Head of Marketing, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Tally?**

I really like Tally's simple interface and the useful onboarding, which made it clear from the start. I didn't need to jump to any information base to understand how their service works. It allowed me to make a form very easily and quickly, which was exactly what I needed. I am excited that Tally answered my request fully, enabling me to create forms with several different items. Thanks to the team, the initial setup was straightforward, just one, two, three, and the form was ready to use. I find it very simple.

**What do you dislike about Tally?**

Nothing found yet :)

**What problems is Tally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Tally to collect information from potential candidates easily. It simplified my form creation process with a very simple interface and useful onboarding, making it clear and quick to create forms.

 ### 14. Simplifies Surveys, Affordable for Teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steve H. | Marketing Executive, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Tally?**

I like Tally for its simplicity in using and managing as a team. A lot of other software is clunky and restricts you, often coming with extortionate prices for users. Tally is really streamlined for adding other members of the team who may not use it very often, avoiding the extremely expensive per-user pricing. Additionally, the initial setup of Tally was really easy.

**What do you dislike about Tally?**

It's limited in that you can't send it out with unique links like other software, but not a big deal for us as most of our research surveys are anonymous.

**What problems is Tally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tally helps me create a wide range of surveys quickly and anonymously. It's simple to manage as a team, unlike clunky software. It's streamlined for adding team members without hefty per-user costs.

 ### 15. Easy and Unique Website Solutions with Tally

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sam C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Tally?**

I like using Tally because it's easy to use and it gives our website something different. It's really helpful for customers who don't know much about our products. The initial setup was very easy, and I'm quite satisfied with how it helps customers find their perfect machine.

**What do you dislike about Tally?**

I can't see who has started a form, but I guess that's something I need to pay for in the pro version. It's for people who partially fill out a form but don't submit, would be good to see but it's not in the free plan.

**What problems is Tally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Tally to help customers find their perfect machine easily, even if they don't know much about our products. It's user-friendly and adds a unique touch to our website.

 ### 16. Intuitive, Free, and Seamlessly Integrated with Slack

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Tally?**

Tally is super easy to use and very intuitive. All of the free features met my needs, so I never felt the need to upgrade to a paid plan. It also integrates with our Slack channel, which is a great bonus. This allows us to monitor help request tickets, feedback submissions, onboarding surveys, and any other forms that come through in real time so we can respond quickly.

**What do you dislike about Tally?**

At first, I found their conditional logic a bit confusing. However, it must have been consistent feedback from users, because they recently released an update that addressed the issue and made it much easier to work with.

**What problems is Tally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tally makes it easy for us to create and manage forms for help requests, onboarding surveys, and general feedback. It’s a straightforward way to collect structured information from partners and customers without having to rely on a complex form builder. The Slack integration is especially useful: submissions land directly in our channel, so the team can keep an eye on requests in real time and respond quickly. Overall, Tally has streamlined how we capture, track, and act on feedback and support inquiries.

 ### 17. Effortless Form Building with Beautiful Results

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David Orlando N. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2026

**What do you like best about Tally?**

I find Tally really easy to use, especially for building forms. It's almost like writing a Word document, which makes it really user-friendly. The forms are not only easy to create but also beautifully minimalistic and clean. Tally allows for easy insertion of various blocks, accommodating different types of data beyond just emails, numbers, and text. Additionally, Tally's integrations with platforms like Airtable and Notion are really helpful, keeping everything synchronized. The setup process was absolutely easy for my team, even for those who aren't tech-savvy, and the pro plan suits a large organization perfectly with its workspace and user management functionalities. It's great that we made the switch from our previous service to Tally.

**What do you dislike about Tally?**

I mean, for example, these things are the dashboards. If I would like to have the information within dashboards, I wouldn't necessarily have to use an integration. Right? So to deploy my dashboard within Airtable with Notion, It's something that's not integrated yet in Tally, but I think that could be improved.

**What problems is Tally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tally helps us collect data from different users efficiently and build attractive forms easily, even with complex logic. It integrates with tools like Airtable and Notion, synchronizing data and increasing responses. Our team finds it easy to use, even without strong tech skills.

 ### 18. Easiest Setup with Stellar Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Amanda M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 19, 2026

**What do you like best about Tally?**

I like that Tally is easy to set up at the very initial stages. Although things got a bit more complex later on, it was easy to start. The support team is really helpful. I emailed them, and they explained everything really clearly, which was much appreciated. Tally was super simple to use, especially when I was comparing different calculators and apps for my calculations. It was the easiest to set up among the options I tested. I like that they have a logic formula with a logic drop-down menu, and the support team helped me understand where to put it and what it means. That was really good.

**What do you dislike about Tally?**

There's a bit of complexity in some of the logic and calculation things, which can be overwhelming from a novice point of view.

**What problems is Tally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tally helps me with their logic formula and drop-down menu, making it easier to understand where to place them and what they mean.

 ### 19. Seamless Integrations, Premium Features, Fantastic Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mo A. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Tally?**

I appreciate how Tally qualifies our leads and is easy to use. I love the numerous integrations, especially with Meta for conversion tracking, which is crucial for running ads. The new analytics feature is fantastic as it helps optimize our conversion rates. I enjoy the premium feel of the software, where everything works as it should without any bugs or messiness, and the documents and support are reliable. The fantastic support and practical, up-to-date guide and supporting documents made the initial setup very easy.

**What do you dislike about Tally?**

Integration with Calendly - or just better custom embeds on thank you pages in general.

**What problems is Tally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Tally for lead qualification. It qualifies our leads and is easy to use. The integrations, especially with Meta for conversion tracking, are crucial. The new analytics feature helps optimize conversion rates. Tally's premium feel means everything works reliably without bugs.

 ### 20. Efficient Onboarding with Great Integrations, Needs UI Improvements

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Josh C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 22, 2026

**What do you like best about Tally?**

I like Tally's good integrations and friendly pricing. Their customer success is also good.

**What do you dislike about Tally?**

UI and UX can be improved, especially for setting up integrations like Google Drive or using Zapier if they don't have native integrations. Also, having a custom domain and premium features, which people pay money for, like onboarding, needs to be smoother. The paid version features are a little bit harder to use than the free version features, so I want improvements on that.

**What problems is Tally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Tally to set up custom onboarding for clients quickly and without using engineering resources, even dealing with secure storage and filing efficiently.

 ### 21. Easy to Use, Fast Support, and Smooth Google Sheets Integration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jenny H. | Business Development, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Tally?**

Easy to use interface, quick customer support and I appreciate it's integration with Google Sheets.

**What do you dislike about Tally?**

Only created a form, haven't officially launched using it but so far - no issues.

**What problems is Tally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were looking to create a simple form where we could also store our data in an easy to digest way. Google forms is boxy and not fun. Claude recommended Tally so I started playing with the interface and realized it's pretty easy to use. We haven't launched using Tally officially but so far was able to build out exactly what I needed.

 ### 22. Smooth Response Collection, Needs Better Onboarding

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cristina M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 03, 2026

**What do you like best about Tally?**

I liked how Tally allowed us to create a link that users could easily access, which made collecting responses very smooth and saved a lot of time. Also, after trying other tools, I found Tally to be much better. Initially, the setup was relatively easy, and even though I needed some extra guidance with certain features like setting up conditional logic, overall, Tally has been a helpful tool for my needs.

**What do you dislike about Tally?**

At first, it was not very intuitive for me how everything works, especially setting up conditional logic. It would be helpful to have more guided onboarding.

**What problems is Tally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Tally to create quick tests with an easy access link, making response collection smooth and saving a lot of time.

 ### 23. Easy Setup, Intuitive Interface, Great Value

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jacob S.

**Reviewed Date:** January 28, 2026

**What do you like best about Tally?**

I like that Tally has a Notion-like interface, making it super simple to use. The simple conditional workflows for complex surveys are incredibly helpful, and the pricing is straightforward without lots of features hidden behind successive paywalls. I appreciate the generous free tier and the fact that the base paid tier offers almost everything most businesses would need. The form building process is very easy and elegant without complicating the UI. The great pricing and team features are a plus. Also, setting it up on our own domain with our branding was super easy and quick.

**What do you dislike about Tally?**

A few more native integrations would be nice, but with other zappier like tools you can make anything happen.

**What problems is Tally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Tally for collecting guest feedback after trips. It provides simple conditional workflows for complex surveys, easy integrations, and straightforward pricing. We switched from Survey Monkey because Tally offers essential features without expensive paywalls.

 ### 24. Customizable, powerful, yet easy to use.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cole R. | Member Systems Organizer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Tally?**

It's super easy to use, but is also very customizable. Conditional logic is something that is not commonly seen on survey platforms that are user-friendly. The way the logic is set up is clear and intuitive. I have used many different survey platforms and Tally is by far my favorite.

There are also several features that aren't relevant to me, but, having the ability to embed video/audio, get signatures, add a CAPTCHA, receive payments, etc. is far beyond what other survey platforms offer, especially as a free version.

I had a positive interaction with customer support when I encountered an error on the survey I was creating. The issue was fixed with minimal effort, but even if it was a larger issue support was willing to work with me on getting it resolved.

The integrations with Google Sheets and Slack are great features.

The guides are very detailed and the templates are plentiful.

I cannot believe the level of access just on the free version, many of the free features are paywalled on other platforms, or don't exist at all. I am using this on a personal level, but I also work with survey platforms at my place of employment and plan on bringing this platform up to my colleagues to see if we can make a use for it as it's better than some of the tools we currently use.

**What do you dislike about Tally?**

It's hard to say anything I "dislike" about Tally, more like, some small things that could be clearer such as "blocks" being used for both the question field and the answer field. It took me a moment to realize that they're called the same thing but function differently.

If not using text-based input, the area where you add blocks or adjust the settings are quite small, I could see someone with visual impairment having some difficulty finding them.

**What problems is Tally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I needed to create a survey that had ranked choices, which is surprisingly hard to find on a small/non-existent budget. What I found was that and more. Conditional logic has given me much more flexibility on how I could set up the survey to benefit all of those who will take it.

 ### 25. Feature-Rich, Smooth, and Extremely Easy to Use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fernando B. | Game Master, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 08, 2026

**What do you like best about Tally?**

The availability of features and smoothness of its use is very unlike the usual free software that I can find for designing any type of thing. It runs very well and it is extremely easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Tally?**

No light-mode. I can't think of anything else at the moment.

**What problems is Tally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The user tracking of interaction with my forms is really allowing me to have a sense on how people feel about my project.

 ### 26. Easy to Use, Professional Look—A Standout Free Version

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Josh W. | Owner - Sobriety Coach, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Tally?**

It's ease of use. How professional it looks. It's a really stand out product and the fact of the version I'm using is free is incredibly helpful while I build social groups and my business.

**What do you dislike about Tally?**

I haven't found anything I dislike about Tally.

**What problems is Tally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For now I'm only running a giveaway, another tally I'll create will be an application form which will help filter out individuals who will be a part of a monthly collective. The other is for a social group that allows each person to submit a pre-selected time/day so we can coordinate events around the average selection.

 ### 27. Unmatched Simplicity and Speed with a Truly Generous Free Tier

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Harshit K. | Founder, Computer Software, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Tally?**

Its simplicity and speed feel unmatched, and the free tier is genuinely generous, with no hidden limits on the basic logic.

**What do you dislike about Tally?**

It doesn’t have as many native integrations as some of the older players, although the Slack and Notion integrations are solid.

**What problems is Tally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It solves the high cost of form builders by offering a genuinely usable free tier for startups and indie projects.

 ### 28. Tally’s Generous Free Plan Makes Lead Capture Easy

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Tally?**

Tally let me create an audit tool which lets me capture leads while providing value. It also has a very generous free plan. I recommend it over alternatives like Typeform.

**What do you dislike about Tally?**

Honestly, there are no downsides I've experienced.

**What problems is Tally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The audit tool I built gets me ideal leads and provides them with value upfront.

 ### 29. Dynamic Design with Innovative Options That Inspire

 ### 30. Intuitive, Clean Layouts That Just Work

**Reviewed by:** Erik W. | Executive Director & Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Tally?**

It's so intuitive to use. The layouts are clean. Tools are where I expect them to be. If I have a question, I can find the answer quickly. It all works well.

**What do you dislike about Tally?**

Haven't found anything I dislike after using it for 3 months so far.

**What problems is Tally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Tally for research primarily. It's been very easy to implement. Analyzing the results has also been easy with easy data export.

 ### 31. Simple Form Blocks, One-Click Integrations, and a Generous Free Tier

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marcello P. | Global Cro Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Tally?**

Simple to use form blocks, with the option to personalise the flow via exclusion/inclusion rules;
Great integrations with all major vendors , in most cases just needs a click to work;
Generous free tier

**What do you dislike about Tally?**

Would be good to be able to drop in code , if given the option.

**What problems is Tally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Simple form creation at scale, with one-click integrations to track data and take payment

 ### 32. Powerful, Highly Customizable Forms with a Wide Range of Features

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in E-Learning | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 16, 2026

**What do you like best about Tally?**

Tally offers a wide range of features, making it easy to build unique and highly customised forms.

**What do you dislike about Tally?**

Tally is a powerful tool overall. Some features can take a bit of time to explore and learn, but once you’re familiar with them, everything works seamlessly. I’d also love to see the invite members feature included on lower-tier plans, since that would make team collaboration much more accessible.

**What problems is Tally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Tally, we struggled to find a form platform that offered flexible conditional logic without forcing us into expensive paid plans or strict response limits. For our final-year project, Tally made it straightforward to build customised forms with the exact logic we needed, which helped us save development time.

 ### 33. Well priced, superb support and generous "fair usage"

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Keir M. | Owner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Tally?**

Well priced, superb support and generous "fair usage".

**What do you dislike about Tally?**

Feature rich but still missing a few basic features. Maybe a little to willing to rely on custom CSS. Building forms can be a bit clunky at first before you get the hang of it.

**What problems is Tally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Embedded forms for client websites, where the client can make the forms themselves without depending on a developer (me).

 ### 34. Unmatched Support and Powerful Features—Tally Sets the Standard

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lilianda M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Tally?**

JARED THE SUPPORT GUY. Im only half joking. Seriously though, ive worked in tech for quite a while, and dealt with a myriad of support systems along the way. Tally is unmatched. I worked with their support team on a (relatively) complex conditional logic system. Their team not only was extremely helpful, but educational as well.

Their team seeks to give you the tools to move forward on your own, when in reality its probably easier for them to just do it for you haha.

Ill be spreading the word in my industry. Give this a try and youll be doing the same. Ill never look backwards to Google Forms ever again.

**What do you dislike about Tally?**

You should charge money for even this free version, because its so incredibly powerful.

Also Jared probably isnt making enough money. Even if he is, give him more money. Jared is the GOAT

**What problems is Tally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed something more powerful with conditional input logic. Nothing out there solved this the way Tally does.

 ### 35. Effortless Surveys with Generous Free Features

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Deb H. | Director of Community & Culture Spark, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 17, 2025

**What do you like best about Tally?**

The forms are easy to set up and share. And there are so many free options - it really is the best survey tool I've found in setting up my business. I also love how easy it is to export the survey responses. Many other tools nickle-and-dime you to death with features that are all part of the free Tally experience.

**What do you dislike about Tally?**

The ONLY thing I don't like? That there's no dark option. That's literally the only thing!

**What problems is Tally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

There's a lot of experiments that go into starting a business and figuring out if what you're building actually has a market. Surveys are the quickest and easiest way to get information from your target customer. And then actually compiling the results so super easy with the downloadable .csv

 ### 36. An indie, modular form builder that is a delight to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Performing Arts | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Tally?**

I love that Tally is an independent form builder that isn't tied to Google. I like the sleek look, the modularity, and the fact that they seem to really take a balanced view toward adding features that people request. I've used Tally for housing and carpool surveys for our theatre crew, and it's been very easy to integrate into my workflow. I haven't run into any bugs so far!

**What do you dislike about Tally?**

With any modular form builder, there's a learning curve to building questions. I don't use Tally every day, so when I do use it I often need to refresh my memory on how things work and poke around a little bit. It's not too bad, though, and the benefits definitely outweigh the positives.

**What problems is Tally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's solving "group preference" problems. Theatre crews often travel from away, and they need carpools and housing. It used to be that people just emailed me their preferences and I'd need to organize those into coherent lists myself, or use Google Forms and have a limited scope of things I could do and a sad user interface. With Tally, I can send nice-looking, very flexible forms to everyone and get back an organized list of who needs what. I've saved time and hassle!

 ### 37. Effortless Form Creation with Tally

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lorenzo R. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 07, 2026

**What do you like best about Tally?**

I like Tally because I find it very easy to use, which is important for organizing activities with volunteers. Its clean design and simplicity in generating forms are huge pluses. I also appreciate that it has a low cost. Setting it up was no fuss at all, very easy.

**What do you dislike about Tally?**

Nothing

**What problems is Tally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I can easily create forms to connect registration to events and bookings, and it's very easy to use with a clean design, simplicity in generating forms, and low cost.

 ### 38. Customization and Outstanding Functionality

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Francisco M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Tally?**

I like the diversity of question types and the conditional logic in Tally, as it allows me to customize the Quiz with my style. The layout is also something I really appreciate, as well as the fact that I can use an unlimited number of questions. Additionally, the initial setup of Tally was smooth and simple.

**What do you dislike about Tally?**

I couldn't use the "wrap in a group" option and couldn't find information in the help center.

**What problems is Tally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tally allows you to compute a final score and offers a variety of question types, conditional logic, and unlimited layout to create personalized quizzes.

 ### 39. Intuitive, Helpful, and Backed by a Responsive Support Team

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Arts and Crafts | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 01, 2026

**What do you like best about Tally?**

It’s so intuitive and helpful, the client service team is responsive, and the forms turn out so good !

**What do you dislike about Tally?**

honestly for now, i still haven’t found something really bad, i guess just some bugs from time to time, but the team fixes them very quickly

**What problems is Tally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

the hard part of making forms accessible to everyone and easy for clients as well, that helps me so much

 ### 40. The Best Form Builder: Simple, Intuitive, and Beautifully Designed

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katerina P. | Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Tally?**

The best form builder out there. I love the simplicity. Well designed, intuitive interface, looks really good on the user end, lots of functionality, no unecessary frills.

**What do you dislike about Tally?**

More stats would be useful, especially if used for leadgen.

**What problems is Tally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

All kinds of forms - waitlists, intake, feedback. Considering moving my lead gen quiz to Tally too.

 ### 41. Easy to use with a solid AI

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ariane L. | Coordinatrice marketing et communication, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 05, 2026

**What do you like best about Tally?**

I love that Tally is easy to use and that I was able to start for free with the app. Its AI is strong, and everything is easy to find. I found creating forms easier than with Google Form or Survey Monkey, which made my forms look more professional. Even though I was a bit lost at first with the templates, the AI allowed me to achieve the final result in a few minutes.

**What do you dislike about Tally?**

That the interface be available in French would be nice.

**What problems is Tally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tally allows me to easily manage multiple registrations simultaneously and increase the participation rate in my satisfaction surveys.

 ### 42. Effortless Form Integration with Excellent Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zeineb B.

**Reviewed Date:** November 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Tally?**

I really like Tally because it's so easy to use. The platform has very clear documentation, which helps me understand exactly what I'm doing without any confusion. Additionally, the customer support is great, always ready to assist whenever I encounter any issues. I find using Tally for forms embedded in my company's website is much easier than coding the form directly, saving me a lot of time and hassle. The initial setup of Tally was also very easy, which made integrating it into my workflow seamless. I also appreciate how well Tally integrates with Webflow for connecting to my website and with Make for capturing events, making it a versatile tool in my digital toolkit. I'm so pleased with how it has improved my processes that I would rate my likelihood to recommend Tally to a friend or colleague as a perfect 10.

**What do you dislike about Tally?**

nothing on my mind

**What problems is Tally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Tally makes embedding forms in my website easier than coding directly, with clear documentation, easy setup, and great support.

 ### 43. Great form builder

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bozhidar G. | Main jury, organizer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Tally?**

Tally's features are absolutely great - the customization is my fav.

**What do you dislike about Tally?**

Sometimes you just don't have the ability to do everything you want - for example there should be much more built-in styling methods (eg.: the star rating block), mobile scaling isn't always great (for example the upload file block's inner text not auto-wrapping on mobile), etc.

**What problems is Tally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I'm organizing a competition, and Tally is great for registration of project and user forms, it is super easy to use and with good form settings - password protect, auto-mail, etc. Overall it is a must-have tool if you plan on using forms in your organization/business. 100% prefer it over any other form builder!

 ### 44. Quick, Intuitive Form Builder with Polished, On-Brand Results

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Tally?**

You can create great-looking forms very quickly. It’s easy to brand them as your own, and even more complex forms still feel intuitive to build.

**What do you dislike about Tally?**

The design tools feel a bit constrained, so when I need something more heavily branded, it doesn’t seem possible to achieve that here.

**What problems is Tally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don’t have built-in functionality to create data-capture forms on my website, so Tally lets me build them quickly and easily.

 ### 45. Easily Accessible, Innovative Learning Solution

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** DEVI MARIA P. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 02, 2026

**What do you like best about Tally?**

I like Tally because it is easily accessible wherever we are. Tally's features greatly assist me in organizing engaging and meaningful lesson plans for students. Tally is also easy to use, I rate its settings with a score of 9 for ease of use. Additionally, I also use the Tally AI mode feature.

**What do you dislike about Tally?**

What needs to be improved is for Tally to create more editing models, such as editing images that can move quickly and accurately.

**What problems is Tally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tally helps me organize an engaging and meaningful learning plan for students.

 ### 46. Intuitive and Fast Data Gathering

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 17, 2026

**What do you like best about Tally?**

Works really intuitively. Super easy builder. Cool to have a bit of branding. Let's me gather market research data super quickly.

**What do you dislike about Tally?**

Would be could if you could somehow visualise the answers/data in Tally itself (maybe it does in the paying plan?).

**What problems is Tally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I want to gather data quickly: have an intake with a new client, do some market research on new ideas, ... Since it's very easy to set-up and has a lot of flexibility with regards to type of questions, all is possible.

 ### 47. Easy-to-Set-Up, Customizable Forms with Great Integrations

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2026

**What do you like best about Tally?**

The ease of setting up forms, the design and the options to customize them along with the available integrations.

**What do you dislike about Tally?**

So far, I'm happy with the whole experinece.

**What problems is Tally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Setting up beautiful and user-friendly forms felt like a hustle. Also having smooth ways to get the data from responses integrated in my Notion workspace, was a pain point before. Tally solved this problem for me.

 ### 48. The ease of creating a form with blocks like on Notion

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bruno F. | Influence professionnelle ("expert" LinkedIn) : Conseil & Accompagnement, Formations & Conférences, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Tally?**

The ease of creating a form in the Notion style
Integration with different tools.

**What do you dislike about Tally?**

Sometimes, the need to understand ergonomics to better master the different components and advanced features.

**What problems is Tally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The creation of a complex form to analyze a LinkedIn profile according to a method I have developed.

 ### 49. Quick and Clear Support with User-Friendly Interface

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kirtika W.

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Tally?**

I am really, really happy with the support that the team has provided, as the instructions were so clear and quick that applying them solved my problem within a few minutes, which I love. The experience was seamless and effective, providing immediate solutions to my issues. Starting with Tally was not difficult, and I found it quite easy to set up, which speaks to its user-friendly design. Tally solves the problem of needing a visually appealing form with different options to engage more effectively with people. The quick processing speed is a standout feature that I find most useful, and integrating Tally with Calendly has been beneficial for booking calls. The user-friendly interface and good support are key factors that would make me consider purchasing Tally again, and I appreciate all these attributes.

**What do you dislike about Tally?**

I find the current customization options limited, particularly in terms of design flexibility. I wish there were more options to have different colors and text styles. Instead of being confined to just one solid color in the background, I'd appreciate the ability to use different pictures as the background for my forms.

**What problems is Tally solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Tally for creating attractive forms with varied options, enhancing engagement. Its quick support and user-friendly setup solve setup challenges and interaction issues immediately.

 ### 50. Need feedback, quick ad easy, no questions, no fees... repeatable and convinient

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Arts and Crafts | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Tally?**

It is very easy to start with, have many functions and they don't limit you so you can just start your work... and if it will be too much they will tell you that this load should not be free any more. It can also embed parts of other web content. And with templates, to make simple questionaire is extremely easy.

**What do you dislike about Tally?**

Well, nothing I would not understand why are they doing it... but for example when I wiant to add video to my questionaire I need to upload the video elsewhere. Also When I want to put several images next to each other I need to create the combined image elsewhere first... So for those things, the solution could be better like grid or table layout... and some limitted temporary storage space for video.

**What problems is Tally solving and how is that benefiting you?**
