"Overall ok"
What do you like best about Workable?

What I appreciate most about Workable is its user-friendly interface and the way it streamlines the entire recruitment process. It makes collaboration between recruiters, hiring managers, and interviewers smooth and transparent. I also really value the customizable pipeline stages and the ability to automate communication with candidates — it saves time without compromising on candidate experience. Lastly, the integration with job boards and the analytics features help ensure our hiring efforts are both efficient and data-driven. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workable?

While Workable is generally efficient and intuitive, I find its reporting and analytics capabilities somewhat limited for more complex, strategic analysis. For example, filtering data by recruiter, time frame, or specific stages in the pipeline isn’t always straightforward, and some key metrics require manual extraction. Additionally, it would be helpful to have more flexibility in customizing candidate feedback forms and tracking interview cancellations or no-shows separately from rejections. "Streamlined Hiring with Good UX – but Room for Reporting Improvements"
What do you like best about Workable?

Workable has made our hiring process significantly more efficient. The interface is intuitive and user-friendly, which made onboarding new team members onto the platform really easy. The ability to collaborate with hiring managers in real-time through comments and evaluations helps keep everyone aligned. I especially appreciate the customizable pipelines and templates – they save a lot of time and keep our communication with candidates consistent and professional. The integrations with job boards are also a huge plus and have expanded our reach without extra manual work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workable?

The reporting functionality feels a bit limited, especially when trying to slice data in more customized ways. We’d like to analyze conversion rates across different roles and time periods more flexibly, but the dashboards feel fairly rigid. Also, while the candidate search is decent, it could use smarter filters – sometimes it's tricky to locate past applicants with very specific skill sets or job history. "Streamlined Recruitment with a Few Notification Glitches"
What do you like best about Workable?

I absolutely love that Workable is incredibly easy to use and navigate, even for those who are new to recruiting systems. The recruitment pipelines streamline our processes, offering clear visibility and effective team collaboration. I'm also impressed with the automation features, especially the AI tools that help pre-screen CVs, making our recruitment much more efficient. The LinkedIn integration is a major time-saver, automatically posting job ads and attracting quality applicants effortlessly. Additionally, I deeply appreciate the responsive and helpful technical support, which enhances our overall user experience. Workable continuously shows a strong willingness to improve by adding valuable features and hosting online events to share knowledge. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workable?

I find the complex permission settings during initial setup challenging, requiring careful configuration to ensure proper privacy and permissions. In the beginning, there were internal issues due to unfamiliarity with the system's permission settings. Additionally, I dislike not receiving notifications or emails when an employee submits a referral, which necessitates separate emails and becomes time-consuming. This lack of automation and record-keeping can disrupt workflow efficiency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Basic ATS with Reporting Limitations"
What do you like best about Workable?

I appreciate that Workable makes the applicant processing stages straightforward and intuitive, especially with its integration with basic job boards. I also find it valuable that Workable serves as our central system for receiving applicants from different job boards, simplifying the process greatly. The ability to efficiently move applicants between stages and recognize duplicate profiles is particularly useful. Additionally, I'm drawn to its cost-effectiveness compared to other ATS systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workable?

I find the reporting feature on Workable to be quite inaccurate, especially for older jobs that are unpublished or archived. The filtering process within the reporting feature is inefficient and not very effective, often requiring a lot of manual work to generate accurate reports. This is a significant area that needs improvement for me to be more satisfied with the software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Workable: The Perfect Solution for Hiring"
What do you like best about Workable?

I love that workable puts all of the candidates in one area, and allows me to look through all of them. I also love that they give me a percentage score for each candidate, which shows me how well they would fit the job description, bases off of their resumes. That is a huge help for us. I also like the fact that I can filter through possible candidates and say yes or no, and it filters out the ones I have said no to. It is extremely user friendly! My company uses this program every time we need to hire a new candidate, and find it is very easy to integrate it into our hiring systems. If we ever have a problem, customer service is extremely prompt and helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workable?

The only downside I have noticed is that workable is a bit slow, sometimes I find myself getting emails that candidates have applied for a position, but when I go to check, they aren't there. If I check back in about an hour, they appear. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Workable is one of the best there is now"
What do you like best about Workable?

I have been using Workable for a long time now. I have used the basic version of it, and used it after their AI updates. I have seen it go from a basic version to a really good version as the frequency of usage was on daily basis as Im handling recruitment.

The usage is really easy, maybe for me since I have been using it for a while now but when I have to show others around it is really user-friendly and easy for others to understand and follow the steps. It is how Workable as a platform works.

I got to work around every part of it, handling all the automations and integrations like moving employees to BambooHR, Gmail, and Slack integration made it really easy for reporting and post-recruitment tasks as well.

Integrations and automations were very easy to set up and the ease of implementation without really needing any assistance was really good.

We never really need customer support for anything but when I had to reach out to fix a few automation or integration issues, it was really quick and with constant feedback which is something I really appreciate.

I would love to see what new features come up that would make our lives in recruitment easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workable?

There were a few things that made it a little tricky to set up but with the new AI features. But since I was really into exploring features, I never faced issues.

Something that I would like to point out is the lot of features offered at the recruiter's end of the job such as disqualification and moving candidates to the next stages had a lot of features. If it could be made it more simpler, lesser options or simplified options would make it better. It is not something I dislike but it is something that would need some thought and simplification if possible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Recruitment with Robust Automation and Reporting"
What do you like best about Workable?

I find Workable incredibly user-friendly and scalable, making it suitable for a growing company. Its automation and AI integration streamline the recruitment process. The reporting system is efficient, saving me time, and the setup process was seamless with helpful resources. The ability to handle confidential job postings, upload applicants, and customize reminders greatly enhances my workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workable?

I wish I could schedule rejection letters outside of the automated ones, if I cancel the automated one, and send one out, it goes out right away and I wish I could still schedule it. The talent pool feature is a little limiting I wish I could drop applicants in that I like as a quick reference when filling a job to reach back to out to. So I created my own talent pool as a job and used a step for each department job and move them there and its working. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"First time user Workable review"
What do you like best about Workable?

Having used Workday extensively, I was initially hesitant to switch to Workable, as I was very satisfied with the previous software. However, I must admit that Workable has been a pleasant surprise.

The implementation team provided exceptional support through timely meetings and clear emails with detailed guidance. What I appreciate most is the high degree of customization—a feature not available in Workday. The ability to create tailored interview kits, design scorecards for multiple interview stages, and assign specific roles to members of the hiring team is particularly valuable.

Key Changes

Improved Flow: The first two sentences were combined for a smoother introduction.

Stronger Vocabulary: Phrases like "had some doubts" were changed to "hesitant," and "incredibly present" was updated to "exceptional support" for a more professional tone.

Enhanced Clarity: The comparison to Workday is now integrated more directly into the sentence, making the point stronger.

Formal Structure: The list of examples at the end was rewritten into a complete sentence, avoiding the informal "etc." Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workable?

Regarding the job layout, I found the candidate pipeline view could be enhanced. In my previous experience, a funnel view that visually displays the number of candidates at each stage of the hiring process was very effective.

Additionally, I suggest making the roles for each position more prominent. Having a clearly defined section on every job page that identifies the Recruiter, Hiring Lead, and all members of the hiring team would improve clarity and workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"very smooth to use, interface is amazing, everything is a few clicks away."
What do you like best about Workable?

- Workable interface display, very beautifully done.

- Sourcing channels connected to the recruitment function is very good but can be improved to reach wider nationalities (US, Eastern Europe and North Asia). Having said that and after utilizing several platforms for recruitment including recruitment agencies, workable recruitment is still my number one option for sourcing our employees

- Intergration is very smooth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workable?

- I don't dislike this tool but the AI function is not accurate and needs improvements.

- The report function is a very good idea but does not really produce accurate reports and does not have the ability to produce specific reports which we are looking for related to accurate dates, number of interviews, number of hires, and time spent in each funnel.

- Would love to see an HR services function added to the platform.

- Customer support is improving but would be nice to get quicker responses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Quick setup, powerful hiring tool"
What do you like best about Workable?

I’m a huge fan — Workable is super easy to set up and use. It enables our small team to manage many hiring processes semi-automatically, which saves us a lot of time. Setting it up took just a couple of hours, and I can fully recommend it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Workable?

One limitation is that scheduling links can’t be changed afterwards. It would also be great to have a feature to rank or rate candidates (e.g., with stars) in the applied stage. That said, these are minor issues compared to the overall value. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
