## JOIN Reviews
  ### 1. Effortless Hiring with a Simple Interface

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tim B. | Food & Beverages, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 18, 2026

**What do you like best about JOIN?**

I use JOIN as an applicant tracking system, and it simplifies our hiring process. I can create and publish job ads to relevant platforms very easily, and all applications get accumulated inside JOIN, making it easy for our team to manage applicants. I can manage the hiring pipeline from screening to hiring, view complete candidate profiles, send emails, and schedule interviews, all without switching tools. I appreciate the simple interface, which means I don't need tech onboarding, and everyone in the team quickly figured out how to use it to simplify our processes. The product is good value for money, providing access to many useful features that help me hire efficiently. The initial setup was very easy; I could sign up and create a company account myself and then invited my team.

**What do you dislike about JOIN?**

It works very well as an ATS but it would be even stronger with advanced reporting and hiring analytics.

**What problems is JOIN solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use JOIN to simplify our hiring process, allowing us to create and publish job ads easily and manage all applications in one place. It streamlines managing candidates from screening to hiring without tool switching. It's easy for everyone to figure out and great value for money.

  ### 2. Good Experience Overall!

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Justin B. | HR Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 01, 2025

**What do you like best about JOIN?**

Join.com is a very useful solution for recruiting. The platform is intuitive, and posting job ads across multiple job boards works seamlessly. It’s especially helpful for smaller companies.

**What do you dislike about JOIN?**

One small area for improvement: some features could be more flexible, and occasionally, it takes a bit of time for changes to be applied. Still, it’s a recommendable platform with great potential!

**What problems is JOIN solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Join helps simplify the recruiting process by allowing job postings to be shared across multiple job boards from one platform. This reduces the effort of posting manually on different sites. The interface is straightforward, and the application management features help keep the process organised. Overall, it makes handling job postings and applications more efficient.

  ### 3. Horrible customer service experience

**Rating:** 0.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Law Practice | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 07, 2025

**What do you like best about JOIN?**

Improves hiring efficiency, makes it easy to cross-post job ads and manage hiring pipeline.

**What do you dislike about JOIN?**

Platform has many bugs and during the last pricing migration, JOIN accidentally downgraded our account, leading to data loss and a total disruption of our hiring pipeline. Customer support was not helpful at all.

**What problems is JOIN solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hiring

  ### 4. Super complicated onboarding with account down for a while, customer service slow and cold

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 21, 2022

**What do you like best about JOIN?**

The service looks nice but onboarding is a pain

**What do you dislike about JOIN?**

Customer service, we send proof of company registration but still are not able to turn account back on after 10 days

**What problems is JOIN solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easily creating a career landing page

  ### 5. Service and communication

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Pharmaceuticals | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 24, 2022

**What do you like best about JOIN?**

It is easy to manage job advertisements.

**What do you dislike about JOIN?**

Communication with the customer service. No transparency and feedback

**Recommendations to others considering JOIN:**

Join is easy to use platform but not very flexible or customer-friendly to adapt to needs. You easily get stuck with a plan that is not needed as the software does not require Admin approval for upgrades.

**What problems is JOIN solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It does not solve my problems as it is not very flexible in adapting to the needs.

  ### 6. Very nice. with some missing features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sebastian B. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 11, 2021

**What do you like best about JOIN?**

Pros:
- super easy to create job add + career page.
- can automatically post the job add in various channels (linkedin + glassdoor + google)
- have all applicants in one place and manage them as a kanban board.
- Goes fast to review an applicant (nice UI)
- workflow setup. I.e., automatically send emails at certain stages.
- the pricing

**What do you dislike about JOIN?**

Cons:
- You can't customize the application form that much. Would prefer that the applicants can insert LinkedIn + GitHub link rather than only a CV + cover letter.
- requires the applicant to create a join account. This is a huge bummer I think. As it creates friction.
- No integration to google calendar (as far as I know). This would be nice to seamlessly schedule interviews
- The ATS I don't really see. I haven't used ATS before though. And for our stage is not a killer feature. I guess its more relevant with 100+ applicants

**What problems is JOIN solving and how is that benefiting you?**

super easy to create job add + career page.
- can automatically post the job add in various channels (linkedin + glassdoor + google)
- have all applicants in one place and manage them as a kanban board

  ### 7. Best recruiter!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Felix S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 20, 2020

**What do you like best about JOIN?**

The service from Join is incomparably good. I have tried other job platforms before, but I was not nearly as satisfied with any other provider.

**What do you dislike about JOIN?**

Hard to believe, but I really have nothing against join.

**Recommendations to others considering JOIN:**

Log in, upload jobs, draft employment contracts!

**What problems is JOIN solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have indeed received a large number of applications in a very short time. Thank you very much for the good support!

  ### 8. Great tool to accelerate Recruiting!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephanie O. | Head of Human Resources, Management Consulting, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 27, 2019

**What do you like best about JOIN?**

- Easy and quick to use
- Very short implementation time
- Free tool that covers all our needs
- Very easy to engage the business to participate in Recruiting activities
- Broad reach of job boards in one go

**What do you dislike about JOIN?**

- Currently cannot replace an ATS if the company grows in size
- We would love to be able to restrict access of hiring manager to only their open positions/pipelines, not all
 - We'd also love to track employee referrals in Join

**Recommendations to others considering JOIN:**

Best solution to kickstart Recruiting. Absolutely recommend it if there is no budget for a large scale ATS and you want to make an impact.

**What problems is JOIN solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Multiposting, scoring of candidates, pipeline, interaction between business and HR.

- Increased transparency regarding status of applications and candidate documents.
- Enabled recruiting from mobile devices for us

  ### 9. perfect tool to manage your job offers in one place. great usability and easy integration.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Patrick B. | Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 24, 2019

**What do you like best about JOIN?**

i can easly invite all deparatments and responsible persons to share their job offers. they manage the first screening and quality check. that saves us a lot of time.
furthermore it is perfect to have everything in one place and you can easily boost your job posting via different platforms as LinkedIn, GitHub, Stackoverflow and this with a cheaper rate the directly. perfect!

**What do you dislike about JOIN?**

so far nothing special. maybe the posibility to integrate every single job posting through a widget. so far you can only integrate all job listings with one widget.

**Recommendations to others considering JOIN:**

Just try it out, it's total free. :-)

**What problems is JOIN solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It saves us time and money instead of boosting every job posting one every platform. here you can manage everything in one place, directly via join.com.
All deparmtens can easily join the applicaton process with full transparency.

  ### 10. Join saves our HR team a lot of time

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pia R. | HR Manager, Information Technology and Services, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 25, 2019

**What do you like best about JOIN?**

With Join we don't have to log in via different portals anymore to upload the jobdescriptions each time.
We can easily create it once via the join login and automatically post it to various portals free of charge and decide if we want to use additional budget.

**What do you dislike about JOIN?**

A direct connection to our ATS would be even better, but the bulk import currently also covers this well.

**What problems is JOIN solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It saves us a lot of time and money. For small companies that do not yet use ATS, the platform can also be used to track applicants in the individual process steps.

  ### 11. Multiposting at the most important jobboards - FOR FREE

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Insurance | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 14, 2019

**What do you like best about JOIN?**

No costs! With JOIN we were able to publish our jobs at the most important job boards and professional networks (e.g. LinkedIn and XING) for free. The response to our jobs right now is overwhelming with many candidates seemingly qualified.

**What do you dislike about JOIN?**

We couldn't find a convenient way to transfer the applicants to our internal Recruitment tool, yet. However, I see lots of improvement throughout the past year and see JOIN growing more and more into a potential ATS replacement.

**Recommendations to others considering JOIN:**

All JOIN employees I've met so far have been very friendly and supportive. Furthermore, I would definitely recommend their Meetups.

**What problems is JOIN solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For a small startup it's very hard to attract candidates and make them aware of your job openings. With JOIN we were able to build a strong candidate pipeline of great potentials.

  ### 12. Great boost for application numbers, saves time and money

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2019

**What do you like best about JOIN?**

-intuitive job ad creation
-great range of generalistic and expert job boards, usually much cheaper over JOIN
-really boosts application numbers
-our account manager rocks!

**What do you dislike about JOIN?**

-integration with ATS could be improved, e.g. automated CV download / data import

**Recommendations to others considering JOIN:**

Can't go wrong with it, but you should still do some research on the suggested job boards if they fit your job profile etc, as JOIN doesnt provide info about target groups, reach etc of the partners. So you still need to have the industry knowledge, but if you do,JOIn is a great asset!

**What problems is JOIN solving and how is that benefiting you?**

-we really solved the time issue: instead of posting individually on various job boards, we just create a job ad once and spread it automatically
-also great for discovering new expert job boards and testing them

  ### 13. searched and found - it could not be easier

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bjoern B. | Vertriebsleiter Büroservice, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2019

**What do you like best about JOIN?**

We have reached an incredible number of interested parties and saved a lot of capacity.
Depending on the area of responsibility, we were able to individually enter our requirements into the search function

**What do you dislike about JOIN?**

There are still some sections not filigree subdivided. The friendly colleagues from support promised prompt updates and continuous improvement.

**What problems is JOIN solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Due to our expansion, we are constantly looking for new employees in a wide range of areas. With join.com we can access an ever-growing pool that lives up to it

  ### 14. easy and usable

**What do you like best about JOIN?**

pushing an ad on multiple platforms.
