**What do you like best about Workable?**

It's easy to use in general, and easy to collaborate with other members of the hiring team.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

It's frustrating that you can't comment on records or email candidates unless they are attached to a job. As an in-house team, we quite often stumble across someone on Linkedin that has changed jobs and we want to make a comment on their record on Workable so that others in the hiring team are aware of this change. We aren't able to do that without adding that person to a job. We also can't email a candidate in the database to see if they are open to talking about a job without first adding them to an open job. It's a big limitation for us. 

The search function isn't very good either, and relies on tagging. As we have different people tagging, the tags aren't consistent so we don't get great results with this.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It keeps a record of all of our jobs and candidates. It also keeps all of our interview templates organized.

I love that Workable is incredibly intuitive and offers quite a bit of flexibility! I've used Workable at 3 different companies (I loved it so much that I implemented it at 2 of the 3 companies). Also, the customer support team is incredible! They're very quick to respond and tend to resolve my inquiry the first time!

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

Not many downsides to note. I do wish I could edit subject lines when sending offer letters and that I could schedule offers to go out.

Workable is a single platform for our 10-15 branches to recruit. It also posts open roles across various job boards which is a great help!

We've been using Workable for a while now and overall, we are very satisfied.  Workable has been a strong addition to our HR toolkit. The interface is modern, intuitive, and user-friendly, which has made onboarding our hiring teams seamless. It’s easy to navigate, and setting up jobs, pipelines, and evaluations is straightforward—even for non-HR users.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

In the employee management platform we would like more role types with clearly differentiated access levels, to reflect our internal structure more accurately. Additionally, custom notifications and multi-step workflows would help streamline collaboration across departments.

One platform for all ATS actions and processes. Streamline our time off process.

When trying to send an offer letter for approval I have to have the administrator enter that persons info in order to be able to send it for approval.
I understand that may be the administrators decision??

Was with them for 3 weeks and they could not get any of my ads up and running on any job boards

We don’t get notifications when a colleague cancels their leave, which can cause confusion in planning.

I like that it has different packages available to suit each business. It's user-friendly, so different team members can use it without too much guidance. The workflows and automation mean no tedious emails.

No downsides that I can think of. It's an additional cost but makes up for it in time saved.

We  used to take the time to post on separate job boards and collate candidates into spreadsheets and manually email, we no longer have to do this as you post once to multiple job boards.

The AI Boolean search feature is not as robust as compared to Greenhouse. The reporting features are not accurate either. From my view there needs to be improvement in these areas

easy to collaborate with investee companies, which is the function we can share every candidate by sharing the link. It helps us reduce the process to upload and send CVs often

Can not copy and paste the JDs from the agent we are collaborating with as they are external members and we can not publish our investee's JDs

Workable is very user-friendly and smooth in terms of its appearance. It is easy to navigate and has lots of different options for automations, making it easy for small HR or hiring teams to manage recruitment processes. I also really love its ability to integrate with email so you don't have to keep up with multiple systems.

In the beginning, there was a good and contactable customer service, which helped solve initial problems when onboarding. The platform is easy enough for all stakeholders to navigate.

Not as seamless as it could be, it should be possible to manage a majority of the preboarding stages on the platform (initially pitched) instead of having to come up with workarounds, which means more time spent on manual admin.

**What do you like best about Workable?**

I have all the features in one place and it is easy to automate processes, and communications and invest less time to manage the hiring processes.

Also, the customer support team is VERY fast and approachable.

I use it daily for all our tasks. 

I find it easy to integrate it with other tools and job boards.

I like that now we depend less on the CX team and can solve things by myself (e.g. moving requisitions to specific roles).

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

Sometimes it is not easy to track candidates (e.g. moving a candidate from one stage to the other doesn't move you to the candidate you are moving but keeps you on the same stage. This makes us make mistakes when focusing on a specific candidate).

Also, the integration with LinkedIn Recruiter is not the best (e.g. when exporting a candidate's profile from LinkedIn Recruiter to Workable, it is automatically uploaded with a link to the profile, but not the whole hiring team has access to that, if they don't have a Recruiter's account, so either we need to manually download the .pdf from LinkedIn, or copy their public profile for the rest of the team not related to Talent to check the candidate).

Reporting could be improved.

Automation; integration with job boards to seee all candidates in one place; one place to manage the roles by updating only once and not in every job board; AI tool to screen high-volume roles; templates to communicate with candidates; quick picture about hiring funnels; reporting (for basic reports).

Workable is a great platform, it keeps everyone accountable throughout the process and we've found the reporting features really helpful in our hiring process.
Managers enjoy that they can go in and look at resumes, see what has been happening throughout the hiring process. It's been easy to use and implement across all our companies.

It would be nice if the main page was more customizable to each persons needs rather than standard across the board.
