## Workable Reviews
  ### 1. Great hiring tool!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Claudia A. | Executive Assistant, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 29, 2021

**What do you like best about Workable?**

It gives access to other stakeholders; I can post on multiple platforms and personalize the pipeline

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

It's very black and white. It would be nice if I could select multiple posts and refresh them all at once.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are maximizing exposure of the companies job opening by posting on multiple platforms at once. With Covid and remote working, as well as having numerous offices across the countries, it's easy for every stakeholder to have access and see the progress of the applicants.

  ### 2. Workable a simple recruitment tool for basic recruiting needs

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 16, 2021

**What do you like best about Workable?**

It's pretty straightforward easy to use, I had never used it before and I didn't need any training on it, the UI/UX interface is very logical and easy to find what you need.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

I don't really dislike anything about it, but it doesn't fill the gap we needed for a more robust HR Management Platform that could include everything we need in only one spot.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It was solving an easy way to post and recruit for the different positions we have available. It helped make the hiring manager's life a bit easier when someone can go in and filter out the applications and only have them look at relevant CVs.

  ### 3. Easy process

Ease to post jobs quickly to many job boards

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

Difficult to manage reqs when changes are made after req is submitted.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

More integrations all the time

**Official Response from Damien Smith:**

> Always looking to add productive, sensible integrations to our portfolio. In the meantime, keep an eye out here.

  ### 5. Easy to use platform, time for assistance could improve, hibob integration broken.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christina W. | Manager, People & Culture, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 23, 2021

**What do you like best about Workable?**

easy to use, easy to add hiring mangers onto the platform and choose their permissions. Nice sorting functions for candidates. Curious to see what their reporting functions look like.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

Hibob integration broken. AI Recruiter doesn't produce good candidates. Often JD doesn't paste well into the job posting format.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Housing our recruitment on one platform. Benefits don't see to be much different from other recruitment platforms.

  ### 6. Workable provides simple solutions for complex projects

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sarah M. | Instructor/Coach, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 09, 2021

**What do you like best about Workable?**

I like that everyone on my team can work on different parts of our hiring process. Being able to leave notes for others simplifies tasks and allows us to move quickly and efficiently.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

I wish it automatically deleted outdated applicants.

**Recommendations to others considering Workable:**

I've only used Workable for hiring purposes, and I highly recommend it for this. It allows you to upload all candidates immediately from indeed or any other recruiting site, you can filter the candidates however is best for your purposes, and multiple people can have access to and work on the same candidates, moving them along in the process.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hiring. By using workable, we have cut down on our meetings and emails significantly. Workable streamlines the process.

  ### 7. Easy to use tool for the recruiting manager

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 20, 2021

**What do you like best about Workable?**

With a 15-minute induction from HR, I was able to handle all my tasks and see the progress of the candidate pipeline very easily. Comments, evaluations, and moving candidates to the next stage were very straightforward, and the tool presents the history of actions and comments very clearly.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

The statistics part gave some odd metrics. It seems to have something to do with the rejection of candidates at different stages, but overall the stats weren't that useful. Fortunately, they are not that relevant to me as a recruiting manager.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping me get a grasp of a massive amount of applications and applicants. It also ensures that each candidate is treated with respect. For instance, sending rejection messages is easy and well connected to the rejection of candidates in the tool.

  ### 8. Intuitive, clever, and great support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mykaela D. | People + Operations Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 18, 2021

**What do you like best about Workable?**

I love Workable's automations feature, offer templates, and support team. Great integrations for job posting, applicant testing, scheduling, and HRIS. Their chat support is very helpful and very available which makes it simple and quick to solve most problems. Overall, an easy and intuitive ATS solution with a great UX and awesome customer support.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

It can be frustrating to need to reach out to your account manager to do things like add new workflows and add standard application form questions that apply across all jobs; would be better if this was able to be done by account admin. Additionally, we have run into bugs with self-schedule links that have caused candidate and hiring manager frustration.

Reporting is so-so and could be improved, but gives us the base of what we need.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Workable as our ATS. Makes end to end hiring a breeze.

  ### 9. Easy Online Recruitment

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 18, 2021

**What do you like best about Workable?**

Workable is easy to get started and allows you to track your candidates at every stage of the recruitment process. You can link it to your email so you don't miss messages if you are not in Workable all day.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

I found it difficult to create an offer template and would have appreciated an online help feature or a support number or chat to contact someone for assistance.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We currently do not have an ATS so workable is a great solution for us and it is reasonably proiced. We have currently hired 3 candidates using this application.

  ### 10. Makes the hiring process easier

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rachel J. | People Operations team lead, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 06, 2022

**What do you like best about Workable?**

Clear route from creating the posts to hiring the employee

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

Reporting features seem limited and difficult to drill down the recruiter looking after role

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

recruitment tracking, able to pull more stats in one view

  ### 11. Beautiful User Interface, Great functionality

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eduardo S. | Director of Human Capital, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 13, 2021

**What do you like best about Workable?**

Built-in features like interview scheduling, email templates, offer documents, reportings. Automating the interview process through builtin in email templates, offer documents, scheduling and offers saves our recruiters valuable time. Additionally, candidates have ease of use especially when it comes to reviewing offer documents and signing.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

There's room for integrations with more HRIS systems. Ideally, Workable would feed into HRIS systems seamlessly. However, there are limitations on how different systems can communicate with each other. Also, integration with Edjoin (Education Specific) job board would be extremely beneficial to schools.

**Recommendations to others considering Workable:**

The UI with workable it great. If your industry is education, be advised that you will have to navigate between EdJoin's ATS and this one separately however I don't know of another ATS that integrated EdJoin either. If you are looking for a tool that has powerful reporting capabilities, Workable may be the one for you. You can look at data directly in the system as well as download it into PDF, or excel formats. Dashboards are also always present with beautiful visuals that is easy on the eye

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Applicant Tracking, automating processes like scheduling, emailing, etc. In an organization where many processes are manual, It's refreshing to have a system that manages data, reporting, and candidate information all in one place. At the end of the recruiting cycle, my team runs time to hire reports, recruitment pipeline reports and more.

  ### 12. Great software for posting open positions and managing replies

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Colin T. | technical architect, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2021

**What do you like best about Workable?**

The interface and usability of Workable are very good. Everything is in a logical location which makes it easy to find. It can automatically post open positions to a number of free and premium job boards.

Managing responses, teh various interview stages, ruling candidates in/out and sharing feedback across our team is very easy with this platform.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

There is little to dislike about the platform. If I was being picky, though the UI is easy to use it does not feel very modern.

**Recommendations to others considering Workable:**

A very useful tool for sourcing candidates, centralising responses and managing the recruitment process.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing the volume of responses from jobs boards, keeping everyone involved in the process informed and tracking people who re-apply are all difficult with email/other offline solutions. Workable vastly improves this.

  ### 13. Workable: An Intuitive & Robust Solution

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 12, 2022

**What do you like best about Workable?**

Workable cuts away all of the superfluous needs of a traditional CMS; their builder was super easy to use and quite intuitive. Quick to implement and build within.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

No dislikes at this time; we didn't run into anything we couldn't address on our own without the help of any additional support.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Multiple languages, job postings, a single unified 'careers' page.

  ### 14. Workable is intuitive and easy to work with

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Zdravko D. | Software Engineering Team Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 09, 2021

**What do you like best about Workable?**

In the information flow of candidates, you scroll from top to bottom and everything is visible, without needing to click here and there.
There's a good integration with Codility.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

It could have a bit more modern-looking buttons and scrolls, but that's nit-picking.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

All our candidates and our hiring process go through Workable and so far it's helping us being transparent and to collaborate between engineering and recruitment easily. Also, we can see the candidate's messages to us in there, in the same timeline.

  ### 15. Workable is a platform that meets all a recruiter's needs.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 06, 2021

**What do you like best about Workable?**

The usability is perfect and easy to work; People's search is incredible; The referral helps a lot and is a great feature!!

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

I would like to have more flexibility to create more workflows by myself, not depending on someone to input the process for me.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The visibility of the workflow to my leaders, they now can follow up how is their position. Also, managing the communications with my candidates is helping me a lot.

  ### 16. Great tool to manage your businesses resources

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bev R. | Shopper and Digital Marketing Controller, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 26, 2021

**What do you like best about Workable?**

A great way to work collaboratively in a very remote world as team members work virtually. It captures and shares all comments and ensures you take candidates through the right processes - more importantly, consistently.

The templates are great to use too, and key dates can be synced to your calendar.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

The ordering of the candidates. It would be better to be able to group of candidates in more groups than available to. Such as possible interview, strong likelihood to interview.

**Recommendations to others considering Workable:**

A great tool that collaborates and provides the templates to support your recruitment process

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Aligning with other members of the team without having a check in. You can add comments very quickly and instantly. This was usually a challenge to respond to CVs that came in as we work virtually

  ### 17. Workable is user friendly and its quick and fast

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rinku J. | Human Resource Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 06, 2021

**What do you like best about Workable?**

1. Keeping the track record of candidates and Feedback.

2. Offered candidates track record.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

1. If the candidate does not want to join on the agreed date and to proposes for the next joining date, then we have to delete the entire candidature and do it once again, which I don't like.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1. Avoiding feedbacks on Email my problem is solved here, and moving the candidate to the hired stage and keeping track is helping me with benefits.

  ### 18. Recommend Workable

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Real Estate | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2020

**What do you like best about Workable?**

It's user friendly, especially for a nation wide company like mine where we have mulitple hiring team members and hiring managers.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

I wish when you put disqualifying questions that those candidates who are disqualified are automatically pushed into the rejection stage. It's just another tedious step that my team must conduct and ensures it doesn't get missed.
Also, it would be nice to look up candidates based on their cell phone or email address.

**Recommendations to others considering Workable:**

Meet with your representative and go through a demonstration of Workable so you can ensure you are using it to it's full potential!

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are able to track data, specifically hiring team. Some of our local hiring team members may take too long with the interview process so having this data helps us paint of picture to them and how this can negatively impact our candidate interview experience.

**Official Response from Brianna Dougherty:**

> Hi there,

Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback. We are so happy to hear that you find Workable user-friendly and intuitive!

We value your insights and have shared them with the team to help them understand what works great and where to make improvements. In the meantime, please send us an email at support@workable.com if you ever need help with the platform.

  ### 19. Workable is a seamless and intuitive platform that has helped streamline our recruitment processes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jay B. | HR/Administration Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2021

**What do you like best about Workable?**

Workable has numerous features which we've found to be particularly useful.

To start with, it's extremely easy to monitor the flow of candidates through the process pipeline. Everything can be controlled via the pipeline, from moving candidates from one stage to the next to adding supporting documentation and evaluations. Everything is accessible to the hiring team in one convenient place. This enables the hiring team to collaborate effortlessly and keep abreast of how each candidate is progressing through the process.

The ability to schedule meetings, calls, and interviews through the platform (linked to an outlook account) is a great feature. Having everything accessible in the one place prevents hiring team members from missing important events.

Interview templates and other evaluation methodologies can be imported from previous processes which saves a lot of time when setting up a new campaign. In addition to this, being able to comb through past candidates from the database makes sourcing candidates extremely efficient.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

One of the features that we've found to be particularly useful is hashtags.

Hashtags have proven to be particularly useful to justify the rejection of a candidate or mark them as being a potentially good candidate for future hiring processes. The problem is, the options available to manage this function are extremely limited.

We do work with a standardized manual that indicates which hashtag should be used to categorize candidates in order to avoid the proliferation of duplicate tags. However, it’s quite common that a hiring team member will mistype a hashtag, thus creating a hashtag that will forever appear in the autofill bar. Another associated issue is that if a recruiter chooses #futureit rather than #itfuture, there’s no way to delete the incorrect tag via a control panel. Even if all the candidates are retagged (as I’ve had to do countless times), it’s just a matter of time before a recruiter sees the autofill light up with #futureit and clicks without considering if this is the correct format.

Providing users with options to manage hashtags would undoubtedly improve the usefulness of this feature.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before we started using Workable, our hiring processes were plagued by miscommunications and inefficiency. Using multiple channels and platforms to carry out hiring duties meant that a lot of information got misplaced or wasn't shared with the relevant team members. Workable has helped us to stay organized and focused from a hiring process's commencement all the way to its culmination. The average duration of our hiring processes has halved.

  ### 20. Easy to use with excellent customer care

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Human Resources | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 17, 2021

**What do you like best about Workable?**

I like the intuitive nature of Workable and the fast and efficient response from the assigned Account Manager, who provides clear advice in a short time. I worked with other ATSs, and most have inefficient customer service.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

Some things cannot be done in Workable, but they seem to improve it continually. I would suggest adding more options for the user profile, like using the first name only or a nickname.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use it, of course, for recruiting as ATS :). It offers easy traceability of applications, easy-to-use job posting and promoting tools, reporting on the process and users, etc.

  ### 21. Considerable product

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 04, 2021

**What do you like best about Workable?**

Easy movement for applicants, interview scheduling

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

1 - No useful report except, hiring velocity (that too get updates after 6 hours from the time of performing the action, have you ever hear about such an online platform that takes time to create the report? I guess no, that's why we use online applications)
2 - Poor workflow & automation with limited access & utility.
3 - Can't create custom automation, report, field.
4 - Poor support, they don't have any information about their own products and are not available during IST time.
5 -you cannot create many useful reports that any organisation would require to understand the insight and Trends of recruitment and unfortunately you need to be dependent on the reports that were cable is providing which is very basic.
6 -Lengthy process and operations, if you want to perform more than 1 action, you will have to go through multiple threads.
7 - No option to create HTML templates & customisable subject lines.
8 - No video conferencing integration with the outlook calendar.
9 - You can not track the shared profiles with the hiring manager & also don't have the option to share the resumes in bulk.
10 - I feel workable is developed while underestimating the HR folks.
11 - No option to create report Dashboard
12 - No option to email tracking(like sent, seen, delivered, opened)
13 - No otion to send interview, feedback reminders

There are many more drawbacks of workable but above are the major drawbacks that I felt are very important to have for any modern ATS nowadays.

  ### 24. An intuitive system

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David K. | Property Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 18, 2021

**What do you like best about Workable?**

Visually the system is excellent, but also it functions well. For a first-time user it doesn't take much training at all. It's great to be able to communicate with my recruiter and the candidates within Workable. It tracks our correspondence as well as appointments, interviews and comments.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

Though I thought the "Source" feature was interesting, I did not find it helpful in finding qualified candidates.

**Recommendations to others considering Workable:**

n/a

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Faster communication with stakeholders is a huge plus. Everything is in one place.

**Official Response from Damien Smith:**

> Glad you appreciate our design and ease of use, David. We know sourcing quality candidates is a constant pain point, and we're always working on ways to develop that function in our ATS. Thanks for the review and for being a customer.

  ### 25. Central HUB for all your posible candidates

**Recommendations to others considering Workable:**

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is a fast way to recruit and process new employees and track back and review candidates from previous job posts.

  ### 26. A great, easy-to-use tool for collaborating with your hiring team on your candidate funnel

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2021

**What do you like best about Workable?**

There is a clear process that you can define, for example Phone Screen > Assessment > Interview > Offer. It's easy to move candidates through the process and see the history of all their touch points with your hiring team. The feature I like best is the ability to schedule a multi-part interview with different members of your hiring team. It compares times with their calendar so you know when they're available. Afterwards it collects feedback from your team members (both a "definitely/yes/no" vote and a qualitative input), but automatically hides other people's feedback from each person until they've submitted theirs, so as not to allow their feedback to be swayed by someone else's. And the interface is very easy to use, so bringing new interviewers into the fold doesn't require much training or effort.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

One annoyance I have is that it seems like you have to have a pretty high permission set in order to be able to update your email templates. As in, even being a hiring manager for a role doesn't permit you to update the templates. And that can defeat the whole purpose of having templates as you then have to copy+paste your own personal note every time you're emailing people, or you have to ask your site's Super Admin to update them for you each time.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Workable as our primary way to source, filter, and track all of our job applicants. To start, at the click of a button it will post our job openings on many boards instantly and start bringing in applicants. And once we start working with applicants, it helps with tracking our correspondence with them, scheduling phone screens and interviews, and recording internal notes and evaluations. I honestly couldn't imagine tracking applicants without a tool like Workable.

  ### 27. Useful, very useful

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Outsourcing/Offshoring | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 20, 2021

**What do you like best about Workable?**

How easy and pleasant the interface is, the ability to edit the selection process to add or remove steps and the ability to upload Linkedin profiles directly.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

Honestly, there is nothing that I do not like, its functionalities are just what is needed for a selection process, neither more nor less.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Thanks to Workable I can have the entire selection process in one place, leave notes for my fellow recruiters and look at past profiles in selection processes that are already closed.

  ### 28. Workable - A Key to Our Success

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jeffrey M. | VP of Operations, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 16, 2020

**What do you like best about Workable?**

It's boosted our team collaboration and everything is in one place for each candidate. It's easy to pull information on candidates and share it with the team. Communication with the candidates is simple and fluid. All e-mail communication with the candidate is automatically captured on the candidate's record.

I also love the reporting capabilities. We recently went through our ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System audit which we passed with flying colors. We have listed real measurable metrics that allow us to operate better as a company. As a senior executive in the company, I am able to get an immediate snapshot of where our gaps are and where we should focus our recruiting efforts. This has saved me immeasurable amounts of time pulling from multiple spreadsheets and other sources now take literally minutes to pull and format for our needs. We demonstrated Workable to our ISO 9001 auditor and it was the first time she had seen it. She was very impressed.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

Currently, pipeline customization requires the assistance from Workable staff. You can't do it on your own. However, this is changing. Workable will soon have an update which allows us to do much of the pipeline customization ourselves.

It would also be nice to be able to do searches based on key words in resumes. Currently, you have to #tag the keywords yourself. You search the keyword #tag which works fine, as long as you've #tagged the key words. We have found good workaround solutions and still think Workable is the best ATS we have worked with.

**Recommendations to others considering Workable:**

No off-the-shelf product is going to be a 100% solution, but Workable is a great solution for our company. Working with Workable has been a great experience. They have helped us to customize our very detailed and diverse pipeline needs. Their support staff have been extremely responsive. They assisted us with great patience as we fully implemented Workable. We've been using the Premium version since April 2020. We're a very satisfied.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the great features is the EEO Compliance feature. Candidates can voluntarily provide this information. I was able to pull the report on this data for our Affirmative Action Plan and it took me around five minutes to pull the report into and Excel spreadsheet, clean up the appearance, and put a filter on it for sorting. I can't imagine how long it would have taken to pull this information together if it had been manual.

We recently passed our ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System audit. We looked at doing this a year ago before we were using Workable. The effort it took to pull metrics together for our recruiting process was nearly insurmountable during our initial attempt. Having Workable as our ATS has made the task of gathering metrics absolutely painless -- and even enjoyable. It gives senior leaders immediate visibility into measures that make a quality organization.

  ### 29. complete, easy to use, counter-intuitive enterprise reporting

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Vahid M. | Vice President Of Engineering, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 04, 2021

**What do you like best about Workable?**

Workable has been a good and handy ATS solution for us from a scale of 50 to 1000 engineers. We have not used other products like recruitment marketing and video interviews.
+ complete feature set
+ easy to use core functionality
+ good price for small companies
+ API for custom use-cases

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

- counter-intuitive enterprise reporting (generating informative reports is hard for a company of +1000 people, depends on how you use the tool)
- non-customizable job description pages
- a bit expensive for large companies

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are using Workable as our ATS solution for a large IT company. We publish job positions, manage hiring process and communiccation with candidates.
Intuitive and handy Applicant Tracking process inside the product has played a key role reducing hiring cost in our company.

  ### 30. Workable review

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Renewables & Environment | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 26, 2021

**What do you like best about Workable?**

Workable enables all who are involved in a hiring process to view the entire timeline and all the candidates. It's hiring made simple like never before

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

Sometimes there are glitches when using the left or right arrow buttons while typing a note to schedule.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It just makes everything so seamless, and all that the other hiring members need to do is join as a Standard member!

  ### 31. A bag of tricks!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Annie T. | Talent Coordinator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 09, 2021

**What do you like best about Workable?**

Personally, I love how we can send video interviews before we schedule a personal virtual interview. This divides the people who are seriously looking to be hired from the people who are not, right from the start.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

I dislike how I have to evaluate the candidate before I see my colleagues evaluations. I am not in any of the interviews I just set the interviews and proceed with the rest of the hiring process if applicable. I always have to do a "fake" evaluation before I see how each interview went.

**Recommendations to others considering Workable:**

Do it! You will not be disappointed. Organization at its finest!

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Communication between all hiring managers has been on point. When we source in a lot of candidates the templates make for easy and quick emailing. Love how we can text through the website. Also the auto save feature is wonderful!

  ### 32. Everything we need and more

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 18, 2021

**What do you like best about Workable?**

Very easy to use and intuitive. There hasn't really been a feature that I looked for but haven't found. Screening, sharing and evaluating candidates is very easy. Loads of possible integrations.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

Difficult integration with Indeed. We've had to use Indeed separately. Career page builder is limited in terms of branding (multiple colors, fonts, etc) but has all of the essentials.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

All applicants funnel through one ATS and it's easy to get all the information, share it and assign candidates or roles to specific recruiters or hiring managers. Helped us streamline our recruiting process tremendously

  ### 33. Workable as a hiring tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kevin W. | D, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 23, 2021

**What do you like best about Workable?**

The ability to communicate in a timely way the efforts of our recruiting team with myself and other hiring managers on clients we are persuing

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

nothing to date All seems to be working well

**Recommendations to others considering Workable:**

If you have the need to hire quality candidates for any position, the Workable process allows for quality interaction between the applicants, an HR or recruiting staff, as well as the hiring manager. All the while not taking you away from other Important tasks needing attention

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One thing that stands out for me is not having to monitor emails from candidates. With Workable they apply and their is a compiled list to review and walk through when time allows as opposed to send ten emails and watch for 10 responses or applicants in the midst of an already busy day. This allows me to continue to reach out to additional potential applicants. Also the tool allows our recruiting team to communicate status or reference specifics of a conversation with an applicant, to allow further vetting prior to a formal interview

  ### 34. Workable Review

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Management Consulting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 03, 2021

**What do you like best about Workable?**

Workable makes it easy for me to view all jobs and candidates for my company in a clear and concise format. I can see any comments/activities etc, clearly on each candidate's profile so I know what the next steps are for their recruitment process.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

One thing that I would find beneficial on Workable would be that the "Inbox" tab doesn't automatically mark a message as "read" if you click on the automated email sent through.

**Recommendations to others considering Workable:**

.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workable is good for multiple colleagues to look through the same jobs/candidates at the same time and provide comments for all to see.

  ### 35. One hub to rule them all

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Frederico R. | Executive Creative Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 28, 2021

**What do you like best about Workable?**

The ability to see work, CV, portfolio, comments from all hiring managers, book interviews directly. Everything.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

It's not the prettiest of user interfaces and the UX can be a bit challenging at times.

**Recommendations to others considering Workable:**

It's your one stop place for promoting and managing candidates.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hiring and centralising the entire process.

  ### 36. Great!

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 14, 2021

**What do you like best about Workable?**

It is user friendly and easy to navigate through

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

It is challenging to filter applicants per location

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Able to attract a good pool of candidates and make the shortlisting process easier.

  ### 37. Workable

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Health, Wellness and Fitness | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2020

**What do you like best about Workable?**

Hiring plan and customizable tracking for each job; user interface is user friendly and navigation is intuitive; help directory is robust so whenever I have a question, there is always an answer and if I cannot find the answer the help desk is at the ready.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

There are not many things to complain about with this system

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had a system that was not working well because no one knew how to use it or didn't like using it. People are utilizing the features of Workable and the hiring teams are able to stay on track and on the same page.

**Official Response from Brianna Dougherty:**

> Hi there,

Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback. We are so happy to hear that you find Workable user friendly and intuitive!

We value your insights and have shared them with the team to help them understand what works great and where to make improvements. In the meantime, please send us an email at support@workable.com if you ever need help with the platform.

  ### 38. Intuitive interface and very easy to use

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2021

**What do you like best about Workable?**

The user interface is very intuitive and easy to use. As a first-time user, I don't have any problem in using the product.
I particularly like the tabs that sort candidates at different stages.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

I don't find any major issue in using Workable. However, there is a minor inconvenience when there are many candidates that apply to a particular position. The current layout requires a lot of scrolling before you can see all of the candidates. Perhaps there is an alternative layout to display more candidates and reduce scrolling.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are trying to fill a particular position within the company. With workday, it is straightforward to identify candidates and their stages of the application process.

  ### 39. dashboard

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Government Administration | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 15, 2021

**What do you like best about Workable?**

The dashboard is my favorite. I love being able to see the status of my candidates

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

I honestly don't have a dislike. I have used 3 ATS in the past and have been using Workable now for about three years, and it is by far my favorite

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem I have solved from using Workable is no longer having to keep up with a shared spreadsheet because the dashboard is so great

  ### 40. Enough but better alternatives are available, way better

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yasin Kaan Y. | Recruiter, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 17, 2021

**What do you like best about Workable?**

Simple interface allows recruiters to use it very easily. Besides, recognition of uploaded CVs feature works so great. Workable also enables you to create your own scorecards to evaluate every candidate.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

Data protection feature works with only EU Countries. Most of the countries not in Europe also have their own data protection laws but Workable simply doesn't give support on this issue. They keep saying that this feature can't be optimized for other countries. I can easily say that Workable can't work properly with laws in your country even though a responsible person from Workable says it can be implemented in the demo meetings before you buy it. Second of all, reporting is not useful enough and you can't even customize variables. Mentioning customization, Workable currently doesn't allow you to create customized fields for candidates, you have to talk to your responsible person from Workable to add fields. Same blocking happens in every customization issue such as workflows. Unfortunately, all Workable does is to keep sending you documentation pages which you've already read them.

**Recommendations to others considering Workable:**

Research must be done before buying an ATS thoroughly

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Not much of it for now. They keep telling you it is not possible.

**Official Response from Carolyn Martin:**

> Hi Yasin,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We are sorry to hear that your experience didn’t match your expectations. We truly value our customer’s insights and understand your desire to comply with GDPR outside of the EU. We have shared this feedback with the product team to help us make necessary improvements.

In the meantime, your Account Manager will be reaching out to check-in and help you get the most out of Workable.

  ### 41. User friendly, easy to use with the end to end recruitment process available in one platform (ATS).

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 23, 2021

**What do you like best about Workable?**

Auto parsing is the best fitur, it was very easy when we have to upload CV

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

Screening fitur, in Workable using # but need to improved, We also need to download interview result in excell or csv format from every position

**Recommendations to others considering Workable:**

Very good ATS but maybe need to add other language in the ATS, because some people can't speak English. And maybe this company can review the possibility to have partner in other country, it will easier and broader the opportunity to use by the other company.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are solving some problem like add new hiring stages, and add interview form, it was very helpfull

  ### 42. One stop shop for backend management of recruitment process

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Piyush D. | Principal Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 17, 2021

**What do you like best about Workable?**

Ability to tag my team members on candidate's profile
Ability to share profiles with my team members and comment on candidate's profile

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

Standard text formatting options not available - Like adding bullet points, making text bold, underlined or italicised

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One-stop shop to review feedback from my team members at different stages of the process
It saves a lot of time in trying to hunt down different emails for candidate feedback.

  ### 43. The easiest to use ATS is Workable

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bruce D. | Talent Acquisition Manager, North America, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 05, 2021

**What do you like best about Workable?**

Ease of use; easy to train company employees; excellent integrated tools to manage applicant communications (from bulk rejection emailing, to adding applicants, to video screen technology, etc.); very good reporting tools built in; built-in apis with top external job boards - simple to activate; very good linked referral site for employees to use for referring candidates to requisitions; very good customer service and support from the company; and finally, very fairly priced.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

More detailed/customizable reporting capabilities missing; req. timing while built into the system, is not easily obtained for a req. through the reporting system; no "Mailchimp" like capabilities in the system to reach out to prospective candidates (it can be done but challenging); no real ability to do a conceptual search or boolean search on applicant pool in your database

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Looking for a cost-effective ATS that allows us to quickly post positions, integrating with various popular job boards, incorporates technologies that allow us to better connect with and communicate with our candidate customers. And finally, a system that allows to properly disposition candidates. All that plus the ability to offer hiring managers ease of use if they wish to self-serve their talent recruiting needs. Workable has done all that and more. We have done a lot of recruiting with a very low people and $$ overhead.

  ### 44. Workable - An easy to use, socially engaging, and truly intuitive ATS.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Thomas R. | Operations Manager | Talent Acquisition + Employer Brand, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 05, 2021

**What do you like best about Workable?**

Having been in the talent acquisition space for nearly a decade, I've used my share of ATS platforms. Workable is by far and away the easiest system to use. The systems intuitive nature allows even the newest users to get a general understanding of the system, without having to provide a formal training - if you don't have the bandwidth. I really enjoy the social/feedback reviewing abilities as well.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

I don't have any true dislikes in Workable. Reporting is always an area of improvement for any system but I find the reports that I do have access to in Workable are very easy to use.

**Recommendations to others considering Workable:**

If you're a smaller recruiting shop and need a nimble, intuitive and easy to use ATS... Workable is a wonderful choice.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time to hire. Workable has made it very easy for hiring teams to quickly review and provide feedback for candidates. This has helped me tremendously with keeping a smooth and efficient candidate/interview experience.

  ### 45. Great tool to keep everybody on the same page!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tyson K. | Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 04, 2021

**What do you like best about Workable?**

My favourite pieces are the workflow for candidates, the assessment tools and collaboration centre where we can add comments or insights on candidates.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

The scorecards were tough to find at first.

**Recommendations to others considering Workable:**

It's a great tool to keep your team up to date when they can't be in the same environment. It is also very helpful to keep track of multiple candidates and keep organized on where they are in the interview process. It has greatly increased our communication, collaboration and efficiency in our hiring process.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping a team on the same page when we are working in different environments. Also, being able to provide feedback and having a place where our initial assessments and evaluations can live for the long haul.

  ### 46. Very complete tool and easy to navigate

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mayara T. | Sr Talent Acquisition, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 22, 2021

**What do you like best about Workable?**

The pipeline design it's very easy to understand and to use

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

It could be more filters to find the right candidates without having to review every single resume

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My recruitment and selections it's smarter now and I have a very good pipeline of candidates for my positions

  ### 47. Hiring made easy!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 07, 2020

**What do you like best about Workable?**

Seeing a timeline for each applicant and the calendar integration for sure. Makes it super simple to add in additional hiring managers and to share timelines with the Directors of unsuccessful applicants for coaching purposes.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

I find when I use the Google Calendar integration the invite is sent to the applicant but the link to the Google Chat Video conference does not appear on the recipients invite. I then have to go to my Google Calendar, delete the applicants invite and then re-add them for the link to show up on their end. I would also like the ability to share individual attached files or videos used throughout the vetting process. FOr example, if I have the applicants record a short video as a pre-screen, my HR team attaches that to the timeline but if I want to only share that video with the applicants current Director, I cannot. Instead I have to add them as a follower.

**Recommendations to others considering Workable:**

Simple, efficient, great UI, supports multiple platforms and mediums. I wish that we had switched to this platform years ago. This will help you to acquire the right person for the right role in a fair arena. Comparing skills, short listing, case studies, video screening... whatever you current process is, Workable will improve it and take stress out of your day.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Efficiency and organization. Often the biggest challenge with hiring is keeping everyone's application organized to get the best possibility of an apples to apples candidate comparison. It also allows for super powerful collaboration with my HR team based on individual schedules. The application process can continue even if I'm not available.

**Official Response from Brianna Dougherty:**

> Hi Ryan,

Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback. We are so happy to hear that you find Workable simple, efficient, and easy to use!

We value your insights and have shared them with the team to help them understand what works great and where to make improvements. In the meantime, please reach out to support@workable.com for help with the Google Video link issue.

  ### 48. Workable Works!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kaila R. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2020

**What do you like best about Workable?**

The interface is very user friendly and intuitive. It's very easy to move candidates to the appropriate stages of the hiring process. The hiring team review feature is very handy and team members are able to put in their comments and tag other team members when necessary. We have it integrated with Jobma for the video interview portion which works well. The direct messaging and templates make bulk messaging effective.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

I don't like that it tries to automatically pull social media accounts from the applicant's information. We found that most of the time it's not accurately linked and also can foster unconscious bias. We wish that there was a little more customization with the rating scale from Defintely, Yes, or No. Our hiring team often wishes that there was a sideways thumb.

**Recommendations to others considering Workable:**

I would make sure that Workable is able to be integrated with your HRIS.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's a one-stop shop for everything Applicant tracking related. It's saved us countless hours of administrative work.

  ### 49. Workable Works for Us

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Biotechnology | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 06, 2021

**What do you like best about Workable?**

Workable is user-friendly. It's easy to create a job, create the workflow, post the job, etc. I also like that the application is simplistic, which enhances the candidate experience.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

I wish Workable would remind interviewers of any outstanding evaluations needed on a candidate. I also wish I could limit who is able to view video interviews with their SparkHire integration. Last - the integration with Google Calendar isn't perfect. Especially if you use Google Hangouts. I can work around the pain points of the Google Calendar integration, but it would be nice if I didn't have to create workarounds.

**Recommendations to others considering Workable:**

If you use SparkHire or Google Calendar, make sure you understand how the integration works. These integrations are ok, but not perfect.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were using Google Hire for our ATS. The product was discontinued by Google. Workable was the most comparable in terms of tools and pricing. Overall we are happy with Workable.

  ### 50. Workable is working!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kim W. | Executive Assistant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 15, 2021

**What do you like best about Workable?**

I love being able to sort candidates by job and then by evaluation. It helps me keep in touch with my top candidates.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

There are just a couple tiny annoying things. Like when I write and email there is always "- -" on the line before my signature. I need to delete this line each time. Also, as an All Access user, I don't have an option to turn off email notifications to my email address. I would prefer to answer all notifications directly from Workable. I'm notified in both places and I feel overwhelmed with notifications.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

This is our first ATS. I love not needing to go back and forth between Indeed and Zip Recruiter to view candidates. Workable also sorts out duplicate candidates so it's less confusing. I also like that our jobs are posted on multiple sites at once so we are getting tons on great candidates to choose from.
