It offers a centralized platform where I can post jobs to multiple boards, manage candidate pipelines, schedule interviews, and collaborate with hiring managers all in one place. The reporting and analytics feature gives a clear view of hiring metrics, helping us improve continuously.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

While Workable performs exceptionally well, I’ve found that the mobile app is a bit limited compared to the desktop version. It streamlines hiring with customizable pipelines and automated workflows.
Collaboration is easy with team notes, evaluations, and scheduling tools.
Plus, its sourcing tools and integrations boost recruitment reach effectively.

It can get expensive for smaller teams, especially with advanced features behind higher-tier plans.

Workable solves the challenge of managing and organizing the hiring process by providing a centralized Applicant Tracking System (ATS). It streamlines everything from posting jobs to evaluating candidates, saving time and reducing manual work. This improves collaboration across teams, ensures a more structured hiring workflow, and helps us find the right talent faster and more efficiently

 ### 7. "Workable: A Reliable Partner in Hiring"

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bhagyashri K. | Talent Acquisition Specialist-I, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

At times, the reporting could be more customizable, and the search filters for past candidates felt a bit limited. Also, the mobile version could be more feature-rich for on-the-go use.

 ### 8. A solid recruitment ATS which does most things well

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rory B. | Talent Partner, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 05, 2025

**What do you like best about Workable?**

Mostly simple to use and user guides are very useful. Most of the basic stuff is done very well. We seem to get plenty of applications which I think is credit to the workable job board system.

Customer support is all good and in general very positive about the expereince from a recruiting ats POV.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

I dont like the workable requisitions page at all. Feels messy and hard to use and as a result we dont use it but i still have to submit reqs to move people to hired. Just annoying time consuming process.

Interview surveys feel a bit janky. Cant have qualitive answers and doesnt quite work the way i want it too.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Well not exactly problem solving as such but we need an ATS which is effecient and easy so and workable is.

 ### 9. Easy to navigate for both recruiters and hiring managers, requiring minimal training.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anthony A. | Group Head of Recruitment, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Workable?**

As an internal recruitment team, we use Workable daily to seamlessly communicate with both candidates and hiring managers across the business. One of the best aspects of Workable is its intuitive usability — it’s user-friendly for both recruiters and hiring managers alike.

The platform was easy to integrate into our existing processes, and onboarding new managers has been straightforward and efficient. Whenever we have questions or need support, the response is prompt and helpful, ensuring minimal disruption to our workflow.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

Currently, automated workflows offer limited flexibility; however, Workable is aware of this and is working on a solution.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a business, we typically have over 100 live vacancies at any given time, so managing candidates in one centralised system greatly improves time efficiency. Involving hiring managers in the vacancy process also promotes a more collaborative, business partner-style approach

**Official Response from Cali McCoy:**

> Hi Anthony, thank you for the detailed review! It's great to hear that Workable is helping your team stay efficient and collaborative, especially with such a high volume of open roles. We're also glad the platform has been easy to adopt across your organization. We appreciate the feedback on automated workflows - we are actively working to make them more flexible to better support teams like yours!

**What do you like best about Workable?**

I use it on my daily basis and I love how intuitive it is. The interphase is easy to use, clear and effective. I like the fact that there're not additional or complex steps for each action, is straight forward. One more perk is the customer support, every time I had to contact the support, I had a great experience, due to the the quickly solutions. I'd like to highlight also the integration with our Microsoft Calendar, as it's very useful.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

I couldn't say anything that I dislike about Workable, but I'm not a fan of the AI CV filtering tool. I don't use it as I've found it's not very accurate.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To streamline recruitment processes, to automatize tasks as scheduling calls, programming onboarding emails, offering preparation.

 ### 11. Why Workable Works

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Crystal H. | Director, Talent, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Workable?**

Workable is very user-friendly and easy for both recruiters and hiring managers to adopt. The one-click job posting and collaboration tools save time and make the hiring process smoother. Reporting works well for basic needs, though customization and onboarding features are limited. Overall, it’s a strong, straightforward ATS that has helped us reduce time-to-fill and improve the candidate experience.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

Reporting customization options are limited, and onboarding features aren’t as robust as some other platforms. Even with these areas for improvement, Workable remains a reliable, user-friendly ATS that delivers strong results for day-to-day recruiting.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workable helps us streamline parts of our hiring process and makes it easier to stay organized. It’s definitely saved us time and kept things more consistent overall.

user-friendly interface, streamlined applicant tracking system (ATS), and strong integration capabilities with other platforms. Its ability to post job openings to multiple boards simultaneously, saving time and effort.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

Its pricing structure, which some users find expensive, especially for smaller businesses. Limited customisation options for a highly specific hiring workflow and occasional difficulties with the mobile app's functionality.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The platform is highly intuitive and easy to navigate, making it simple to manage the hiring process from start to finish. I particularly appreciate how it consolidates all candidate information, communication, and feedback into a single, organised dashboard. While the pricing can be a bit steep for smaller budgets, the efficiency it provides in applicant tracking and job posting makes it a valuable tool for many recruiting teams.

 ### 13. Great fit!

 ### 14. All-in-One Solution for Smarter Hiring

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mohammad-Nour A. | Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Workable?**

I like how intuitive and easy to use Workable is, especially for teams with varying levels of tech experience. The collaborative features—like commenting, evaluating candidates, and managing workflows—make it seamless to involve hiring managers and HR in every step of the process. The integration with job boards and the ability to post with a few clicks is also a huge time-saverplus it can be implemented within minutes with an extremely professional and friendly customer support

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

that there is no option to categories skills such as nice to have or must have . the AI assistant rates based of the job description in general even if you v=change the required section , it remains the same.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workable has helped us centralize and streamline our entire recruitment process.

 ### 15. Used at multiple startups to get through many hires quickly

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kieran K. | Marketing Director, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 28, 2025

**What do you like best about Workable?**

I've used Workable at multiple startups now and it's consistently been a great experience that makes hiring so much easier when I have multiple roles to get through. The Slack integration is clutch because you get notifications right away when new applications come in or candidates move through stages. Managing candidates is simple: adding notes, moving people to next rounds, or rejecting them all happens with a few clicks. The automatic scheduling system is particularly useful, saves tons of back-and-forth emails trying to coordinate interview times. Their automated email templates work well out of the box, but you can easily personalize them when you want to add a human touch. Overall, it just removes the headaches from recruiting and lets you focus on actually evaluating candidates instead of wrestling with the process.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

The interface can be confusing and heard to learn at times with some hidden menus and unintuitive behaviour. But that's like many SaaS.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing and posting JDs, integration with job boards and sites like LinkedIn, managing candidate scheduling, progressing through stages, and sharing feedback internally anonymously.

 ### 16. Streamlined recruitment across (international) teams

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gaëlle B. | Chief of Staff, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Workable?**

Workable makes it incredibly easy to collaborate across different (international) teams, keeping all recruitment-related tasks, communication, and candidate information in one central place. This has significantly improved our efficiency and reduced the risk of missing important updates.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

While the automated responses feature is useful, the different scenarios are not yet fully aligned, which makes it challenging to use them consistently and correctly without manual adjustments.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before using Workable, all recruitment information was stored in Google Drive and Excel, which often caused delays, lacked GDPR compliance, and provided no central point for tracking progress. With Workable, we now have a secure, compliant, and centralised platform that streamlines the entire hiring process and ensures all managers have real-time access to the same information.

 ### 17. Workable - an intuitive ATS solution

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rafael P. | Active Sourcing Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Workable?**

Workable is an intuitive ATS, where you can easily integrate it with other tools, such as LinkedIn Recruiter. It provides different reports, and you can also customize it connecting the database to a reporting tool you use.

Easy to track the progress of the candidates, sharing information with the hiring team, it`s an everyday tool that helps us in recruiting to keep track of our processes and pipelines.

When I needed help to get access to the database, the customer support team helped in an efficient and fast way.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

Even though there's some customization on the reports, the reporting features could be still more advanced.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking the progress and data of the pipelines to make sure we are going to the right direction.

**Official Response from Cali McCoy:**

> Hi Rafael - thank you for your review! We're glad to hear Workable is making a difference in your recruiting process, and that our support team was able to help quickly when needed.

 ### 18. Really good solution for small and mid-sized company's

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Florian H. | Recruiter, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Workable?**

It is really user friendly, clean UI, easy to learn.
With the Dashboard you have your daily interviews at a glance and the role overview is prety straightfordward.
Workable was easy to implement in our process and also easy to integrate with our HRIS.
If there are any problems, the support was getting back to us quite quick.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

Overall we are really happy, I would only miss some minor details, however they are fixing a lot with updates.
What I am missing are options to filter out jobs that I am not part of and some more options for the career site tool.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workable replaced our old ATS which was missing a lot and enables us to effeciently hire across multiple countries.

**Official Response from Cali McCoy:**

> Hi Florian - thanks for your great feedback! We're happy to hear Workable's ease of use, clean UI, and integrations have streamlined your hiring process across multiple countries.

 ### 19. Easily manageable tool for hiring

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Workable?**

I’ve really enjoyed using Workable! The platform is very user friendly and makes the hiring process so much smoother. I especially appreciate how easy it is to filter through candidates and quickly identify the ones that are the best fit for the role. It keeps everything organized in one place and saves a lot of time compared to managing resumes manually. Overall, it’s been a great tool for streamlining our recruiting process.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

It is a little difficult to manage automated messages. We sometimes cannot locate where the message originated to turn it on or off.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workable helps us identify the right candidates more efficiently by streamlining the hiring process. Instead of sifting through endless resumes manually, the filtering and organization tools make it easy to spot the applicants who best fit the role. This saves time, keeps our team aligned, and ensures we’re focusing on quality candidates rather than drowning in admin work.

 ### 20. Best recruitment software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Katerina K. | Head of Recruitment & Talent Acquisition, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Workable?**

Workable is an intuitive and user-friendly recruitment software that simplifies the entire hiring process, from posting a job to making the final hire. Creating a job announcement is quick and easy, and the platform automatically reposts it across multiple free job boards—such as NewJobs, LinkedIn, Google for Jobs, Talent.com, Indeed, Careerjet, and Jooble—as well as premium boards. All candidate applications are collected under the relevant job posting, with clear tracking of which job board they came from. The clean, easy-to-navigate interface makes it accessible even for occasional users. Each job can be linked to a Hiring Manager and selected team members, enabling seamless collaboration. Communication with candidates is straightforward, whether through bulk emails or individual messages, and scheduling interviews is equally simple. The platform keeps everything well organized, saving valuable time. The implementation of AI tool is very useful for CVs screening. Finally, Workable stands out for its excellent customer support, which responds quickly and efficiently.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

It does not support Greek language when exporting a csv report.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Firstly, Workable saves valuable time by allowing you to create and post a single job announcement that is automatically distributed. Candidate CVs are organized under each specific job, and the pipeline feature makes managing applications straightforward and efficient. All team members have access to the job dashboard, enabling smooth internal communication and collaboration. The ready-made job descriptions provided by Workable are especially useful when creating new roles. Additionally, the AI-powered CV screening tool streamlines the process by showing a match percentage between the job description and each candidate’s CV, making shortlisting much faster.

 ### 21. Great ATS, user friendly, simple and useful!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Diego D. | Recrutiment Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Workable?**

I've worked in recruitment for several years and have used multiple applicant tracking systems. Workable stands out as the most effective by far. Its interface is clean and intuitive, making it easy to navigate even for new users. The system is fast, reliable, and supports a smooth hiring workflow from start to finish.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

Honestly, I haven’t encountered any issues with Workable. It’s consistently reliable, fast, and easy to use.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a high-volume recruitment company, Workable helps us efficiently manage applications across multiple vacancies. Its bulk processing features make it easy to handle large volumes of candidates, while the clear pipeline view allows us to track progress at every stage and focus on the most promising profiles.

 ### 22. Workable is a great fit for our company's needs.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Shawanna B. | Director of People and Culture, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Workable?**

The platform is very intuitive and easy to navigate. When I had an issue, a customer service rep walked me through the trouble shooting phase via a zoom call.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

I found it difficult to connect creating a req to the job posting. I also wish there were categories to save resumes under fort future use.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had a major growth spurt in the last few years and Workable has provided us a structure for recruiting that wasn't in place prior to that. I am able to communicate with managers about specific candidates via the platforms without messaging getting lost in daily emails. Managers can also see candidate flow and traffic in real time.

 ### 23. Efficient and User-Friendly Recruitment Platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Automotive | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Workable?**

Workable is extremely intuitive and easy to navigate, making the hiring process smooth for both recruiters and candidates. I particularly appreciate the automatic email feature, which saves time and ensures consistent communication. Another valuable aspect is the ability to see the complete history of candidate movements, allowing for quick tracking and improved collaboration within the hiring team.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

One drawback is how jobs are automatically archived when not in use, which can make them less accessible when you want to quickly reference past postings. Additionally, the lack of integration that would allow Workable to directly feed data into our ATS system is a limitation, as it requires extra steps for data transfer and record-keeping.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workable centralizes all candidate information in one platform, allowing us to track applicants efficiently from initial application to final decision. This eliminates the need for scattered spreadsheets or multiple systems, reduces communication gaps, and makes it easier for the entire hiring team to stay aligned. As a result, our recruitment process is faster, more organized, and less prone to errors.

 ### 24. Workable – A Solid, Scalable ATS for Growing Teams

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Workable?**

The platform is clean, easy to navigate, and doesn’t require a steep learning curve for recruiters or hiring managers. Shared notes, interview scorecards, and internal comments help us keep hiring decisions transparent and collaborative.

With one-click posting to multiple job boards (free and premium), we save time and ensure wide visibility.

The video interviewing tool (especially post-COVID) is a useful addition that reduces reliance on external tools, and it was very easy to implement.

The customer support team is pretty proactive, and helps us with the queries.

Tailoring recruitment stages to each role/team has helped streamline different types of hires (technical, sales, interns, etc.). We have recently also started using the Hiring plan option, where we are transitioning from spreadsheet to frequently logging into Workable site.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

While basic reports are decent, the analytics could be more advanced—especially around source effectiveness and time-to-hire breakdowns.

Some integrations (especially niche HR tools or regional job boards) are limited or require third-party connectors.

Mobile App Experience: It exists, but functionality is still quite limited compared to the desktop version. It's difficult to get details of candidates to connect in the mobile app version.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Workable across HR, in a multi-location setup. It has scaled well as our hiring grew, and it’s especially strong in terms of collaboration, ease of candidate tracking, and pipeline management.

**What do you like best about Workable?**

Able to handle the recruitment and induction process in the system . The system is able to screen all application and regardless of how many and able to provide instant notifications once a candidate submits an application. It is also refreshing to have all the reviews for candidates in the system .The system is user friendly, new users easily learn without problems

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

The induction part , which i am still figuring out and i believe it is a very important component

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Recruitment processing is taking less than it was the case before . All the applications regardless of the numbers are screened in real time and also the candidates are informed at each stage

 ### 26. Robust Automation and Integrations, Needs UI Refresh

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Workable?**

I appreciate Workable's effective automation and integration capabilities, which streamline our hiring process and make job postings widely visible. The quick and seamless integration with LinkedIn and the effective resolution of issues with Welcome to the Jungle bolster our experience. The sensible pricing, combined with all the features I need, has contributed to my satisfaction, leading me to renew my subscription for three years.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

I find the setup process for integrating Google Calendar extremely challenging. The menu to configure it for a new user is very hard to locate, and the documentation provided is confusing. Additionally, the connection frequently disconnects, requiring the same painful process to be repeated every time. I also think that the management of automations could be improved, as handling many of them is a bit difficult. Lastly, the user interface feels outdated and could benefit from a more modern refresh to improve the overall aesthetics.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workable to streamline candidate management and automate recruitment tasks, saving time. It enhances collaboration within the hiring team and with external recruiters, making the process more efficient.

 ### 27. Great boutique ATS system for smaller companies

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Workable?**

The first thing I noticed was how easy it is to get started. The layout is straightforward and user-friendly—even team members who aren't in HR have picked it up quickly. I can post jobs, review candidates, schedule interviews, and generate reports without needing to dig through menus or manuals.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

One of my biggest gripes is the lack of flexibility when it comes to reporting. The built-in reports cover basic metrics, but if you're looking to drill deeper—say, pipeline performance by source or stage, or create custom dashboards—you’ll probably be disappointed. It’s also not the most customizable ATS in terms of workflows or candidate stages, especially compared to some of the more enterprise-grade tools out there.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Collaboration has always been difficult with a lot of ATS systems. One of the most underrated features is how easy it is to collaborate across the team. Everyone—from hiring managers to department heads—can leave feedback, view candidate profiles, and stay up to date through the dashboard. It keeps the process transparent and organized, which is a huge plus.

 ### 28. Excellent ATS

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nayiri T. | Talent Acquisition Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Workable?**

Workable is an excellent ATS that stands out for its ease of use and user-friendly interface. I love how simple it is to track both jobs and candidates in one place, it really streamlines the hiring process. Rating candidates and leaving notes is straightforward, which helps keep all feedback organized. The internal communication feature with hiring managers makes collaboration smooth and efficient. Plus, the interview scheduling tool integrates seamlessly with Outlook, making calendar management hassle-free. Overall, Workable makes recruitment easy and well integrated with the tools we already use. Highly recommended!

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

One limitation with Workable is the lack of customization when it comes to certain settings. For example, I can't pre-set the self-scheduling link duration for a specific job stage. I'd like all phone screening interviews to automatically be 45 minutes, but Workable defaults to 30 minutes unless I manually adjust it for each candidate. This adds unnecessary steps and can be time consuming when managing multiple interviews.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workable is solving several key problems in the hiring process. It centralizes all recruitment activities in one platform, which eliminates the need for scattered tools and emails. I can easily track job postings, review candidate profiles, leave notes, rate applicants, and collaborate with hiring managers — all in one place. Scheduling interviews is also seamless thanks to its integration with Outlook, which saves a lot of time and reduces back-and-forth. Overall, Workable helps streamline workflows, improves team communication, and makes the entire hiring process more efficient and organized.

 ### 29. Overall ok

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Marta C. | Head of People and Culture, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Workable?**

What I appreciate most about Workable is its user-friendly interface and the way it streamlines the entire recruitment process. It makes collaboration between recruiters, hiring managers, and interviewers smooth and transparent. I also really value the customizable pipeline stages and the ability to automate communication with candidates — it saves time without compromising on candidate experience. Lastly, the integration with job boards and the analytics features help ensure our hiring efforts are both efficient and data-driven.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

While Workable is generally efficient and intuitive, I find its reporting and analytics capabilities somewhat limited for more complex, strategic analysis. For example, filtering data by recruiter, time frame, or specific stages in the pipeline isn’t always straightforward, and some key metrics require manual extraction. Additionally, it would be helpful to have more flexibility in customizing candidate feedback forms and tracking interview cancellations or no-shows separately from rejections.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workable centralizes our recruitment process in one platform, helping us manage candidate pipelines, schedule interviews, and collaborate effectively across teams. It has simplified job posting, improved visibility across roles, and ensured a more consistent hiring experience. The ability to track progress, communicate with candidates, and maintain a structured hiring flow has significantly reduced manual work and improved coordination between HR and hiring managers.

 ### 30. Streamlined Hiring with Good UX – but Room for Reporting Improvements

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Workable?**

Workable has made our hiring process significantly more efficient. The interface is intuitive and user-friendly, which made onboarding new team members onto the platform really easy. The ability to collaborate with hiring managers in real-time through comments and evaluations helps keep everyone aligned. I especially appreciate the customizable pipelines and templates – they save a lot of time and keep our communication with candidates consistent and professional. The integrations with job boards are also a huge plus and have expanded our reach without extra manual work.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

The reporting functionality feels a bit limited, especially when trying to slice data in more customized ways. We’d like to analyze conversion rates across different roles and time periods more flexibly, but the dashboards feel fairly rigid. Also, while the candidate search is decent, it could use smarter filters – sometimes it's tricky to locate past applicants with very specific skill sets or job history.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workable is helping us centralize and streamline our entire hiring process. Before, we were juggling job postings, candidate emails, and feedback across multiple tools and inboxes, which made collaboration messy and slowed things down. With Workable, everything lives in one place — from sourcing to interviewing to making offers. We also are using some of the available integrations. This has significantly improved visibility across the team, helped us move faster, and created a much smoother experience for candidates.

 ### 31. Streamlined Recruitment with a Few Notification Glitches

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ralitsa I.

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Workable?**

I absolutely love that Workable is incredibly easy to use and navigate, even for those who are new to recruiting systems. The recruitment pipelines streamline our processes, offering clear visibility and effective team collaboration. I'm also impressed with the automation features, especially the AI tools that help pre-screen CVs, making our recruitment much more efficient. The LinkedIn integration is a major time-saver, automatically posting job ads and attracting quality applicants effortlessly. Additionally, I deeply appreciate the responsive and helpful technical support, which enhances our overall user experience. Workable continuously shows a strong willingness to improve by adding valuable features and hosting online events to share knowledge.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

I find the complex permission settings during initial setup challenging, requiring careful configuration to ensure proper privacy and permissions. In the beginning, there were internal issues due to unfamiliarity with the system's permission settings. Additionally, I dislike not receiving notifications or emails when an employee submits a referral, which necessitates separate emails and becomes time-consuming. This lack of automation and record-keeping can disrupt workflow efficiency.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workable improves recruitment visibility and efficiency, allowing better pipeline management and team involvement. AI tools save time by prescreening candidates and improving communication, while integration with LinkedIn and easy onboarding further streamline and enhance our hiring processes.

 ### 32. Basic ATS with Reporting Limitations

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anupama J.

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Workable?**

I appreciate that Workable makes the applicant processing stages straightforward and intuitive, especially with its integration with basic job boards. I also find it valuable that Workable serves as our central system for receiving applicants from different job boards, simplifying the process greatly. The ability to efficiently move applicants between stages and recognize duplicate profiles is particularly useful. Additionally, I'm drawn to its cost-effectiveness compared to other ATS systems.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

I find the reporting feature on Workable to be quite inaccurate, especially for older jobs that are unpublished or archived. The filtering process within the reporting feature is inefficient and not very effective, often requiring a lot of manual work to generate accurate reports. This is a significant area that needs improvement for me to be more satisfied with the software.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workable centralizes applicant tracking from various sources, simplifying the process and making application processing intuitive. It efficiently manages duplicates and moves applicants across stages. However, the reporting features need improvement for accuracy and effectiveness, especially for archived jobs.

**Official Response from Brendan Jeannetti:**

> Thank you for the thoughtful review. We are happy to hear Workable is helping simplify your applicant tracking and saving you time. We appreciate your feedback on reporting and are actively working on improvements with exciting updates coming by the end of the year.

 ### 33. Workable: The Perfect Solution for Hiring

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Medical Practice | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Workable?**

I love that workable puts all of the candidates in one area, and allows me to look through all of them. I also love that they give me a percentage score for each candidate, which shows me how well they would fit the job description, bases off of their resumes. That is a huge help for us. I also like the fact that I can filter through possible candidates and say yes or no, and it filters out the ones I have said no to. It is extremely user friendly! My company uses this program every time we need to hire a new candidate, and find it is very easy to integrate it into our hiring systems. If we ever have a problem, customer service is extremely prompt and helpful.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

The only downside I have noticed is that workable is a bit slow, sometimes I find myself getting emails that candidates have applied for a position, but when I go to check, they aren't there. If I check back in about an hour, they appear.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workable helps me solve all of our hiring problems, especially by helping us filter out those who would absolutely not fit the job, based on their scoring.

 ### 34. Workable is one of the best there is now

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sujeeth R. | HR Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Workable?**

I have been using Workable for a long time now. I have used the basic version of it, and used it after their AI updates. I have seen it go from a basic version to a really good version as the frequency of usage was on daily basis as Im handling recruitment.
The usage is really easy, maybe for me since I have been using it for a while now but when I have to show others around it is really user-friendly and easy for others to understand and follow the steps. It is how Workable as a platform works.
I got to work around every part of it, handling all the automations and integrations like moving employees to BambooHR, Gmail, and Slack integration made it really easy for reporting and post-recruitment tasks as well.
Integrations and automations were very easy to set up and the ease of implementation without really needing any assistance was really good.
We never really need customer support for anything but when I had to reach out to fix a few automation or integration issues, it was really quick and with constant feedback which is something I really appreciate.

I would love to see what new features come up that would make our lives in recruitment easy.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

There were a few things that made it a little tricky to set up but with the new AI features. But since I was really into exploring features, I never faced issues.
Something that I would like to point out is the lot of features offered at the recruiter's end of the job such as disqualification and moving candidates to the next stages had a lot of features. If it could be made it more simpler, lesser options or simplified options would make it better. It is not something I dislike but it is something that would need some thought and simplification if possible.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The usage of AI in recruitment is really good, which has improved the creation of JD and exploring candidates much easy. This was significant improvements in recent years. The Gmail integration and automation to send out email made it easier for recruiters to focus on the right candidates rather than wasting a lot of time on all the candidates.

 ### 35. Effortless Recruitment with Robust Automation and Reporting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Whitnie O. | Recruiter

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Workable?**

I find Workable incredibly user-friendly and scalable, making it suitable for a growing company. Its automation and AI integration streamline the recruitment process. The reporting system is efficient, saving me time, and the setup process was seamless with helpful resources. The ability to handle confidential job postings, upload applicants, and customize reminders greatly enhances my workflow.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

I wish I could schedule rejection letters outside of the automated ones, if I cancel the automated one, and send one out, it goes out right away and I wish I could still schedule it. The talent pool feature is a little limiting I wish I could drop applicants in that I like as a quick reference when filling a job to reach back to out to. So I created my own talent pool as a job and used a step for each department job and move them there and its working.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Workable improves recruitment efficiency with AI-powered overviews, streamlined reporting, and automation, saving me time on calculations and reports. It offers user-friendly features like snoozing reminders and easy candidate management, enhancing my overall workflow.

 ### 36. First time user Workable review

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Federica I. | People and Culture Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Workable?**

Having used Workday extensively, I was initially hesitant to switch to Workable, as I was very satisfied with the previous software. However, I must admit that Workable has been a pleasant surprise.

The implementation team provided exceptional support through timely meetings and clear emails with detailed guidance. What I appreciate most is the high degree of customization—a feature not available in Workday. The ability to create tailored interview kits, design scorecards for multiple interview stages, and assign specific roles to members of the hiring team is particularly valuable.

Key Changes
Improved Flow: The first two sentences were combined for a smoother introduction.

Stronger Vocabulary: Phrases like "had some doubts" were changed to "hesitant," and "incredibly present" was updated to "exceptional support" for a more professional tone.

Enhanced Clarity: The comparison to Workday is now integrated more directly into the sentence, making the point stronger.

Formal Structure: The list of examples at the end was rewritten into a complete sentence, avoiding the informal "etc."

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

Regarding the job layout, I found the candidate pipeline view could be enhanced. In my previous experience, a funnel view that visually displays the number of candidates at each stage of the hiring process was very effective.

Additionally, I suggest making the roles for each position more prominent. Having a clearly defined section on every job page that identifies the Recruiter, Hiring Lead, and all members of the hiring team would improve clarity and workflow.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

A primary benefit is having a single, secure platform to consolidate the entire hiring process. This centralizes all sensitive information, such as CVs and interview feedback, ensuring both data security and operational efficiency.

 ### 37. very smooth to use, interface is amazing, everything is a few clicks away.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Fatima A. | Assistant Manager - Recruitment, Performance and Training , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Workable?**

- Workable interface display, very beautifully done.
- Sourcing channels connected to the recruitment function is very good but can be improved to reach wider nationalities (US, Eastern Europe and North Asia). Having said that and after utilizing several platforms for recruitment including recruitment agencies, workable recruitment is still my number one option for sourcing our employees
- Intergration is very smooth.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

- I don't dislike this tool but the AI function is not accurate and needs improvements.
- The report function is a very good idea but does not really produce accurate reports and does not have the ability to produce specific reports which we are looking for related to accurate dates, number of interviews, number of hires, and time spent in each funnel.
- Would love to see an HR services function added to the platform.
- Customer support is improving but would be nice to get quicker responses.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- Talent acquisition.
- Job postings
- Onboarding
- Record keeping

 ### 38. Quick setup, powerful hiring tool

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Anna H. | COO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Workable?**

I’m a huge fan — Workable is super easy to set up and use. It enables our small team to manage many hiring processes semi-automatically, which saves us a lot of time. Setting it up took just a couple of hours, and I can fully recommend it.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

One limitation is that scheduling links can’t be changed afterwards. It would also be great to have a feature to rank or rate candidates (e.g., with stars) in the applied stage. That said, these are minor issues compared to the overall value.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hiring from the first until the last step

 ### 39. Run away from this scam company.

**Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Internet | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 21, 2025

**What do you like best about Workable?**

Honestly, in the past it was relatively affordable, and useful, dispite the AI feature not being really useful for applicants qualification.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

They claim you can post jobs on LinkedIn if you upgrade, but once you pay, you discover that it’s not true you end up paying for a full month of a service you can’t use. Their support has been completely unhelpful. They refused a refund within 24 hours, even though they were the ones who told me to upgrade in order to access LinkedIn posting.

To make things worse, they also charge VAT even though, under the EU reverse-charge mechanism, they should not. Overall, a very disappointing and misleading experience.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nothing, this platform is the biggest disappointment I've ever had with a software and it's the first negative review of my life.

**Official Response from Cali McCoy:**

> Thank you for sharing this feedback. If you'd like us to re-examine your case, please contact support@workable.com again with “G2 Review Follow-Up” so we can take another look at your account.

 ### 40. The Best ATS I've Ever Used – Seamless and Powerful!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Staffing and Recruiting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Workable?**

I've worked with several Applicant Tracking Systems over the years, but this one is by far the best I've ever used. Here's why:

Ease of Use: The interface is clean, intuitive, and user-friendly—even for first-time users. Everything is where it should be, making the entire hiring process feel effortless.

Ease of Implementation: Getting started was surprisingly smooth. The onboarding and setup were straightforward, and we were up and running in no time.

Customer Support: Exceptional. The support team is responsive, knowledgeable, and always ready to help with any questions or concerns.

Frequency of Use: I use it daily, and it consistently performs without a hitch. It’s become an essential part of our workflow.

Number of Features: It has everything we need—robust candidate tracking, automation, reporting, collaboration tools, and more. It covers all bases without being overwhelming.

Ease of Integration: Integrating it with our existing systems (email, calendars, HR tools) was seamless. It works well with everything we use, which saves us a lot of time and hassle.

Overall, this ATS has significantly improved our recruitment process. Highly recommend it to any team looking for a reliable, efficient, and feature-rich solution!

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

none for now as it is a really good system and remote friendly.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's a really good ATS the interface is clean, intuitive, and user-friendly—even for first-time users. Everything is where it should be, making the entire hiring process feel effortless.

 ### 41. Helpful and intuitive

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Workable?**

The best thing about Workable is that it's so easy to learn. Anybody can start using it from day 1.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

I think it needs a reminder system where Workable gives a warning to the admin if a candidate has been in the same stage for let's say more than 3 days.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workable has significantly streamlined our hiring process by centralizing all candidate data in one place. This unified view has made it incredibly easy to track applicants, review resumes, and collaborate with the team.

One of the standout features is the ability to perform bulk actions, such as emailing multiple candidates or moving them through stages in one go—saving us hours of manual work. Additionally, the custom templates feature has been a game-changer for maintaining consistency in communication while tailoring messages to different roles or stages.

Overall, Workable has improved our recruiting efficiency and organization. Highly recommended for teams looking for a scalable, user-friendly ATS.

**Official Response from Brendan Jeannetti:**

> Thank you for the great review! We’re glad Workable is helping your team streamline hiring and save time with bulk actions and templates. Your feedback on reminders is valuable, we’ll keep working on features that make the process even smoother.

 ### 42. Workable defines what an ATS should be like

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Workable?**

From A to Z its intuitive. Starting from posting jobs, reviewing CVs, tagging hiring managers/members, comments, reviews, and so on . I don't need to explain it to people due to it being intuitive.
Drag and drop, profile upload accuracy.
Templates to use for interviews, jds, etc.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

Sometimes the AI suggested profiles are not the most accurate ones (maybe I need to figure it out more). Also I had a localization issue once when posting jobs within a country starting with Republic of , and it took another country with same starting name. But they fixed it and it was due to some google maps API as far as I recall.
It can be challenging at times to make hiring managers use it on their own, review CVs and kinda make it a past practice.
Searching through past/archived jobs and older candidates could be improved with some new filters.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It provides a all in one solution that helps me do a better job as a Talent Acquisition Specialist. Upload and source candidates, create job descriptions, schedule interviews and calendar sync with hiring managers. Comments, evaluations, feedbacks. Its easy to keep track of what's in the pipeline and its status.

**Official Response from Brendan Jeannetti:**

> Thanks so much for the great review! We’re thrilled to hear you find Workable intuitive from start to finish. We appreciate your feedback on AI suggestions and search filters, our team is always working to make these even better.

 ### 43. its a very agalie and easy to lear working tool with great integrations.

**Reviewed by:** Tomas A. | Carelines, Tech and Support Services Resourcing Specialist Spain & UK ICC, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Workable?**

Its well organiced specialy to create integrated workflows in order to streamline process specialy if you work a part of a big team.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

It could be more intuitive regarding the steps to follow wile traying to create things like reports, or sometimes can be a little complicated to fin the specific way to change thigs that have been established in the workflows.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

its an easy an integrated way to to create job ads and share them, being able to upload the information required, create or use exiting workflows and be able to review everything and the specic places were is going to be shared like LinkedIn is very beneficial.

 ### 44. Very straightforward tool, makes recruiting easier

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consumer Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 30, 2025

**What do you like best about Workable?**

Workable is a very straightforward and intuitive tool that significantly simplifies the recruiting process. From posting job openings to managing candidate pipelines and scheduling interviews, everything is centralized and easy to navigate. The interface is user-friendly, which reduces the learning curve for new team members and allows us to collaborate efficiently across teams. It’s especially helpful for maintaining a clear overview of where each candidate stands in the process.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

While the platform is undeniably helpful, the pricing is relatively high (it increased significantly with a higher headcount this year) —especially considering that we don’t use all of the available features. For smaller teams or companies with a more streamlined hiring process, it may feel like you're paying for more than you need. It would be great to have more flexible pricing based on actual usage or modular features.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Disorganized Hiring Processes:
Before using Workable, tracking candidates across spreadsheets, email threads, and calendar invites can lead to inefficiencies and missed opportunities. Workable centralizes the entire recruitment process—from job posting to offer—into one platform.

Lack of Collaboration Across Teams:
Hiring often involves multiple stakeholders, and without a shared system, it’s easy for feedback and decisions to get lost. Workable enables seamless collaboration between HR, hiring managers, and interviewers, with everyone able to leave comments and access the same information in real time.

Limited Candidate Reach:
Posting to multiple job boards manually is time-consuming. Workable streamlines this by distributing job ads across various platforms with one click, increasing visibility and attracting more applicants without extra admin work.

**Official Response from Cali McCoy:**

> Thank you for your detailed feedback! It is great to know that Workable has helped bring structure and visibility to your hiring process and improved how your teams work together. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.

 ### 45. Workable makes recruitment easier

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Online Media | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Workable?**

Workable is a user-friendly ATS that makes the entire recruitment process more streamlined and collaborative. The interface is intuitive, and the pipeline view gives a clear snapshot of where each candidate is in the process. The ability to post to multiple job boards with a single click is a huge plus, and the integrations with calendars make scheduling effortless.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

While Workable covers the basics very well, reporting and analytics could be more robust. Customizing reports can be a bit limited, especially when trying to track advanced recruiting metrics like time-to-fill by role type or source effectiveness over time. Additionally, pricing can become expensive for scaling teams, particularly if you want to access advanced features or a larger number of job slots.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workable makes the entire recruitment process more streamlined and collaborative. It's very user friendly.

 ### 46. Crucial for Recruitment, But Needs Better Reporting

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tanja A.

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2025

**What do you like best about Workable?**

I find Workable indispensable for our recruitment process. It enables efficient candidate tracking, ensuring no one is overlooked and helping manage recruitment stages seamlessly. I appreciate the requisitions and hiring plan features and find the reports helpful most of the time. Additionally, the guided onboarding made the transition much easier and customer service stands out as excellent support.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

{"The initial setup was challenging due to the data transfer from Greenhouse to Workable, which involved thousands of candidates and different scorecards. This process was crucial and took several months.","The reports feature doesn't always work as needed and sometimes presents incorrect data.","The referral program doesn't fit my needs every time and seems inflexible to adapt to our specific requirements."}

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workable to effectively manage recruitment by tracking candidates and ensuring no one is forgotten, streamlining our hiring process.

 ### 47. Great UX but lacks sone capabilites

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Efthymia K. | Talent Acquisition Partner, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2025

**What do you like best about Workable?**

- UX - it's very easy to use, and requires minimal to no training for new recruiters or hiring managers.
-Easy collaboration with the hiring team

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

- Sending e-offers: requires editing on google docs/word and then uploading the template through Settings. In case you need to make any change to the template, you have to edit it again from google docs/word, downloading and re-upload it in Workable settings.
-Workable - LI intergration for job posting: everytime we post a job on LI Recruiter through Workable, the formatting gets messed up and we manually have to fix it from LI Jobs.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- candidate management & collaboration across the hiring teams

**Official Response from Cali McCoy:**

> Hello Efthymia - thank you for your honest review! We are glad you are enjoying the easy-to-use interface and seamless team collaboration. We appreciate you flagging your pain points as well - we are always exploring ways to improve and simplify processes to make them more efficient!

 ### 48. Workable is a great tool to help track candidates across customizable stages.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Charlie V. | Senior Operations and Administration Associate, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Workable?**

It's pretty easy to use and I appreciate that in integrates with Outlook and Zoom. I also like setting up automations and templates. We use it for all our job postings.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

The Zoom integration is great but I wish more of Zoom's meeting features could be customized through Workable. We also from time to time have an issue with people on our team's Outlook connections coming undone and needing to be repaired.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Streamlining applicant management and allowing for mass communication with groups of applicants. It also makes scheduling with candidates so much easier and cuts down back and forth emailing.

 ### 49. A user friendly ATS

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Igor B. | Head of Talent Acquisition, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Workable?**

- candidate search / ranking
- video interview / assessments add ons
- compliant across various regions
- resources on how to do stuff

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

- reporting
- would love it to connect with performance management and produce Quality of Hire reporting
- text when keeping notes should allow bulltet points/bolt to improve readability
- i would like to see ways to sum up feedback for a candidate, coming from various stakeholders

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

workable is the operational backbone of the TA function. It allows the gathering and storage all the candidate info we need to make hiring decisions.

 ### 50. Efficient, Intuitive, and Game-Changing for Hiring!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Xundra W. | HR Recruiter, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 31, 2025

**What do you like best about Workable?**

We've been using Workable for several months now, and it has completely transformed our recruitment process. From posting jobs across multiple platforms to seamlessly managing candidate pipelines, Workable makes every step feel effortless.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

One area for improvement is the pricing structure—it can be a bit steep for smaller teams or startups, especially if you're scaling quickly. However, the value it brings in terms of time saved and process efficiency still makes it a worthwhile investment.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The reporting tools are also a huge plus. They give us clear insights into our hiring metrics, helping us make data-driven decisions and continuously improve our process.

**Official Response from Cali McCoy:**

> Hi Xundra - thanks so much for your review! We're glad Workable is making hiring easier for your team!
