Recruitment and the process and visibility for manager autonomy. Onboarding integrations and the support features.

**What do you dislike about ClearCompany?**

There’s very little to dislike overall, but two things stand out: the inability to proxy as an administrator, and certain profile-visibility settings that can’t be hidden because they’re tied to a larger component of the system. For example, as an admin I can’t disable the birthday feature on profiles companywide; instead, I have to instruct employees to turn it off individually, since the profile is linked to the performance module.

Streamlining our recruitment process and onboarding process in a numerous way and eliminating hours of manual process.

I like that ClearCompany offers lots of customization options. It provides a centralized place for us to post jobs on our custom career site, LinkedIn, Indeed, and other platforms. The built-in features are better and require less manual work overall. It also offers better integrations than the previous product we used.

**What do you dislike about ClearCompany?**

The UI could be better, and the customization, although robust, is not intuitive, and there are a lot of different settings options you need to navigate to. I also don't like that you can't filter the candidates in their sections. It makes it difficult when you have 100s of candidates to sort through

Clear Company has been white glove with implementation.  You will not regret choosing them.  Their project management system is top notch.  I felt supported throughout the process from start to finish, which is rare these days.

So far I have not run into anything I don't like.

Clear company has provided connections to job boards that will potentially save us alot of money spent to access/advertise directly at the source.  I love the LI connection feature provided with 'easy apply' this will greatly reduce the barrier to entry for applicants.  I truly love their customer support.  These are things HR people rarely, if ever, get to say.

**What do you like best about ClearCompany?**

What I like most about ClearCompany is how intuitive the platform is for both HR and hiring leaders. The workflows are easy to set up, adjust, and maintain, which made adoption smooth across our teams. It truly simplifies the recruiting and onboarding process without feeling overly complicated or technical. The implementation support was responsive and flexible, and even when we moved quickly, the system kept up. Overall, ClearCompany has made our processes more streamlined and user-friendly, which is exactly what we were hoping for. The biggest upsides of using ClearCompany are the intuitive workflows and the ease of adoption for both HR and hiring managers. The platform simplifies recruiting processes without adding extra complexity, and the transition from candidate to onboarding feels seamless. We appreciated how configurable the system is without needing heavy technical support, and the visibility into hiring progress has helped leaders stay informed and engaged. Along the way, the implementation support was responsive and flexible, which made it easier for us to move quickly while still getting what we needed out of the system.

**What do you dislike about ClearCompany?**

The only downside for us was that a few configuration pieces didn’t land exactly as expected on the first pass, and some features required clarification once we were already in the build process. We also moved faster than the standard implementation timeline, so a little of that was on us. Overall, the issues were minor and resolved quickly, but worth noting.

**What problems is ClearCompany solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClearCompany has helped us streamline and standardize our recruiting processes, which has led to a much more efficient and consistent experience for both candidates and hiring managers. We’re able to move faster, communicate more clearly, and ensure steps don’t fall through the cracks. The end-to-end flow—from applicant tracking through onboarding—keeps everything connected, which has noticeably improved speed and quality of hires. Better recruiting is truly the top benefit for us, and it’s had a direct positive impact on both our teams and our candidate experience.

The best thing about ClearCompany is how simple it is to use. Even if someone is new to the platform, they can figure things out pretty quickly. The workflows are clean, the layout makes sense, and it takes a lot of the manual work out of hiring and onboarding. It feels like everything you need is right where you expect it to be.

**What do you dislike about ClearCompany?**

Some areas could definitely be improved. A few features feel a little outdated, and some parts of the system aren’t as customizable as we’d like. Setting up integrations sometimes takes longer than expected, and certain reports require extra support to customize. None of these are deal-breakers, but they do slow things down occasionally.

What helps the most is that ClearCompany brings multiple HR tasks into one system. The ATS is fast and makes it easy to move candidates through the pipeline without losing track of anything. The onboarding tools save a lot of time because new hires can finish paperwork online without any back-and-forth. The reporting is straightforward, and the customer support team is usually quick to respond when we need help. Overall, it just makes daily work smoother and more organized.

I use ClearCompany to make managing our people much easier. It helps me handle recruiting, onboarding, and performance tracking all in one place, keeping everything organized without the usual HR headaches. I really like how it keeps everything in one place. Recruiting, onboarding, and performance reviews all feel effortless, and it gives me clear insights, making my HR work much smoother and less stressful. ClearCompany’s recruiting, onboarding, and performance review features make my job a lot smoother. They help me keep track of candidates, get new hires settled quickly, and monitor employee progress, so everything runs more organized and hassle-free.

**What do you dislike about ClearCompany?**

ClearCompany is really helpful, but a few things could be better. Some reports feel a bit clunky, and moving between different sections isn’t always smooth. Making these areas easier to use would make the platform even more user-friendly. I have found that moving between modules, like recruiting and performance reviews, can sometimes be a bit confusing. If these sections were easier to navigate and key features more accessible, using ClearCompany would feel much smoother and faster.

**What do you like best about ClearCompany?**

We have been using Clear Company for a few years now and implementation was very easy. Posting positions is so easy and I am a big fan of the job and email templates to save time. We have a great relationship and speak regularly with our account support not just during implementation. Our last provider did not keep up with us at all but with Clear Company we keep in touch and they reach out about updates to the software and how we might be able to utilize given the way we do things. The ease of dispositioning, noting and attaching documents makes it our one stop place for all things recruitment.

I can't think of any major issues we have had or wish could be solved by Clear Company.

ClearCompany provides a effective Applicant Tracking System for our organization that is perfect for what we do an our company's size.

I have been in the HR field for my entire career. Having used multiple applicant tracking tools throughout my career. I came across ClearCompany in a previous company and have successfully transitioned to their product utilizing the full suite. This is a user-friendly platform that does not require an HR degree to use whole heartedly. From the most Senior HR professional to the entry level employee, the seamless application allows all users to excel on this platform. If a situation arises, I never have to wait for an answer. There is always someone available to answer, guide, direct or problem solve. I highly recommend this product

There is little to dislike about this platform.

Time is always a pressure. ClearCompany shares the responsibility between the recruiter and hiring manager streamlining the process. Every candidate lives in the system, from application to recruiter followup, hiring manager, onboarding, goal setting, performance Management.

We dont love that locations have the be linked to offices.

**What do you like best about ClearCompany?**

I like the vision that was sold to us with ClearCompany, especially with AI being implemented and the promise of easy use and access to dashboards. I value having access to the dashboards, an efficient process to post and push to offer letters, and creating a positive experience for our hiring managers.

**What do you dislike about ClearCompany?**

The implementation is not great and doesn't seem well-supported. I feel like ClearCompany oversells their features because just having items on a roadmap doesn't mean they exist yet. They should be more transparent about this. The setup process has been very tedious and not as intuitive as expected.

**What problems is ClearCompany solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Currently, ClearCompany doesn't solve any problems for us. The implementation process is tedious and not intuitive, making it not very efficient.

Implementation of the platform was well supported by the organization's representatives. The organization had adequate staff training us how to use the platform.

**What do you dislike about ClearCompany?**

We used the system for over two years and experienced multiple glitches where emails would not send to candidates. The platform is not user-friendly, and many managers had trouble navigating it and completing basic tasks.

**What problems is ClearCompany solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The platform is positioned as an ATS and aims to improve the recruitment process for HR professionals. Unfortunately, we ran into too many hiccups to really benefit from it, so we ultimately decided to switch to Greenhouse.

**What do you like best about ClearCompany?**

Clear Company is an Applicant Tracking System, but they have worked to make the hiring and on-boarding process more seamless over the years.  They also continue to expand into more HR areas of importance, such as compensation, performance management and integration into background checks, so the entire applicant process is contained.  The most recent updates have included the use of AI tools to help write and develop job posts, so that it is more professional and improves the overall recruitment process.  The other aspect that I appreciate is the reporting.  while Clear Company has always had a reporting platform, they have improved this area, including some additional AI tools to better collect and report the data on your recruitment.  Other areas that have saved time for me, include the ability to create and save job postings, so that when I recruit for other positions, I do not have to recreate the wheel, simply update the job post and make it go live with a new job posting.

**What do you dislike about ClearCompany?**

My main issue with the company is the recent shift in their customer service approach. Although the platform still provides a variety of "learning topics," including articles and videos to help answer questions, they have scaled back on the "live" customer service that some other companies continue to offer. There is now a chat bot that tries to guide users to relevant articles or videos, but this did not resolve my particular question and quickly became a frustrating experience. When I tried calling the customer service line, I was asked to provide a PIN, which I didn't have. Apparently, with the changes to their customer service program, speaking to a real person now requires an additional fee—something I was not aware of. On a positive note, I was able to reach my account manager, who opened a ticket to address my issue, but the whole process was both frustrating and time-consuming.

Clear Company offers an all-in-one system that streamlines recruiting and applicant management. While we don't utilize every feature, the platform includes modules designed to support various aspects of the employee life cycle.

**What do you like best about ClearCompany?**

I used to love the I-9 integration... I think EquiFax will eventually work out. And if you can get Virtual working via ClearCompany it could be better.   Currently the defaults are not set up correctly.

**What do you dislike about ClearCompany?**

Your 1st line of support is horrible, it doesn't know when there are known problems with resume parsing and wasted a ton of time asking me to have my CANDIDATES fix it.  In general, the first answer is almost always completely unhelpful. 

Can't sort resumes by Ireland, United State, or any country.  I do mostly national searches by country and can't do it in ClearCo.  I had to create spreadsheet to track talent by Country.  

 GDPR compliance is not adequate.   I received an automated message from Dasseault Systems about my application, and it requested me to OK keeping my application.  I did not reply intentionally and the sent me note.  "Sad to see you go" and then they deleted all my application automatically!   I know Workable does this too.  Why can't ClearCompany.  I have been asking for better GDPR compliance for years.  NOTHING has changed.

We just post jobs, store resumes, and on-boarding.   Sometimes I use it to search for skills on CVs but the search engine doesn't capture COUNTRY!

ClearCompany is instrumental in the organization of our applicants and the completion of the interview process. The customer support team, whether via chat or email, is always available to help with an issue, which is extremely important to our recruiting team. I also personally love the candidate profile features, texting ability, and advanced search options.

**What do you dislike about ClearCompany?**

Occasionally, there are issues with the system that hinder our progress with applicants, but they are usually fixed within a day or two.

ClearCompany solves our time management issue during the fall and spring recruiting seasons as it allows our team to communicate with candidates in a speedy manner.

**What do you like best about ClearCompany?**

It’s hard for me to pinpoint what I like best about ClearCompany because much of the functionality ends up being more time-consuming than helpful. Features don’t always work consistently, and instead of streamlining my workflow, I often find myself troubleshooting issues or creating workarounds. The system causes more frustration than efficiency, which makes it difficult to highlight a single aspect I truly enjoy using.

**What do you dislike about ClearCompany?**

What I dislike most about ClearCompany is that the system requires far too many clicks to accomplish even basic tasks and the functionality often feels limited or broken. The search tool is restrictive as it only works by candidate name rather than pulling results from email or phone number and reporting is not always accurate. Features like knockout or auto grading questions require going into setup to build a new application instead of simply adding them to a requisition and even when knockout questions are configured they do not always work as intended which makes candidate review more time consuming. The overall UI is not intuitive, setup and configuration take too many steps, and candidate search frequently fails to return results tied to a requisition even when selected. Support and response time is also very poor from the account manager, the CSM, and even when submitting tickets. I sent one a week ago and have yet to hear back despite also emailing our assigned ClearCo reps. Ultimately, while ClearCompany can serve as a low cost option for organizations with lower hiring volume or less complex needs, the lack of functionality slows down the recruiting process and often forces you to supplement with other systems which costs more time and money in the long run.

**What problems is ClearCompany solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem ClearCompany is solving is simply giving us a place for candidates to apply and for our team to review them. Beyond that core function, it has not provided many real benefits to me as a recruiter or recruiter lead. In practice, it often creates more headaches than solutions because the system is not intuitive and requires extra time to manage compared to more robust ATS platforms.

ClearCompany has served us well over the past three years. Their team offers excellent support, and once you become familiar with the system, it is very user-friendly.
Implementation process is really great. We use it every day. The integration with ADP is really helpful.

The main issue I’ve encountered is that updating the onboarding packets isn’t very straightforward. Whenever I need to add a new document, I have to manually update each individual packet, which can be a bit tedious.

The main reason we switched was the integration with ADP. It really saves us time when setting up a new hire's APP profile.

ClearCompany does a lot right. It is the best ATS I have used as a recruiter. It is simple to use and is easy to understand. They make a lot of the product customizable but do it in a straightforward way.

They have some weaknesses. ClearCompany by itself is only an ATS. You will rely on integration with your HRIS to oversee the entire candidate/employee life cycle. The quality and consistency of the integration varies greatly by HRIS system and ClearCompany does not always integrate important features as well as I would like.

Screening and scheduling candidates is very easy. We are able to process and hire people quicker than other platforms.

ClearCompany is a robust applicant tracking system that is intuitive. I appreciate that using the system makes sense and it is easy to train both new recruiters and hiring managers.  I love all of the bulk update features and I love how easy the system is to use and keep up to date.  ClearCompany has also embraced AI and has added many robust AI tools and their sourcing tool is comprehensive and helpful. I like their ability to rank candidates using their AI software as well. The best part of ClearCo is that it is fairly priced and a solid offering for small businesses who don't want to sacrifice capability with their ATS just because they are small.

**What do you dislike about ClearCompany?**

The reporting could be better, easier to use.  I wish the integration process was a bit smoother and we had the ability to change start dates or make updates in the systems for certain things that are locked out.  I wish we had a phone number to call for support when needed.

ClearCompany's AI for sourcing is very helpful and has produced qualified candidates.  Also, when we had an absolute inundation of candidates for a large proposal ClearCo's AI ranking tool helped up to properly review those candidates.

Coming from a company that has paper copy training material... ClearCo. (Brainier) has made the transition of training from paper copy to electronic 10,000% easier.  I used to not like training because of all the paperwork that it came with, but with ClearCo (Brainier), I am able to select the appropriate learning object with the right conditions and not have to second guess at the start of each new year if training is due!  No more spreadsheets to track when training is due... ClearCo. record retention is astonishing!

**What do you dislike about ClearCompany?**

The only down side I have about ClearCompany is the set time of being logged in.  I have to re-log in after 15 minutes of idle.  (Maybe there is a setting I could update to allow longer idle time.)

Training Record Retention.  ClearCo. is providing a ONE IN ALL RECORD RETENTION system for my company.  No more digging through personnel files to find a training record and no more excel spreadsheets!  With ClearCo., I am able to pull reports of overdue training... etc!

After purchasing Brainier a year ago, I can say we are pleased with the functionality and UX/UI. Our team members can see classes and courses that are assigned and easily register for them. They also have the ability to easily search for a topic to find additional course, classes and links. Clear company had a responsive help desk which is easy to use both through email and phone.

**What do you dislike about ClearCompany?**

The system does not have the capability to provide triggers to re-assign compliance courses based on variations of dates required. In other words, we have several required classes that work like this: 1. Take the class, 2. Recert every year. 3. If you don't recert in time you have to go back to take the original class again. This requires us to have to keep spreadsheet to track the data for our team members. One of the reasons we chose Brainier LMS was to omit this work around. :-(

I have not had a ton of experience with ClearCompany. They took over Brainier LMS right after we began using the LMS. So far, the interactions have been good, and we have had very little issues.

The changes to the way Brainier support works now as opposed to the way it worked when we first started using it.  I used to get a response immediately, now it can take almost a day.

They are helping Valcor Engineering with an exceptional LMS. The system works great for the company and is taking us from using large amounts of paper to paperless over time.

Clear Company allows me to post one job and have them appear on multiple sites. It works alongside our HRIS to make the process even easier. This allows a smooth transition when candidates are hired. We are able to review candidates on a daily basis and share the process from start to finish with colleagues. Customer service is fantastic and it was easy to integrate with our current process. Implementation was easy as well.

As a newcomer to the recruiting space, ClearCompany has provided me with exceptional tools to create a robust recruitment and hiring process. The organization of the ClearCompany site is wonderful. Everything is laid out in a very user-friendly way which makes the site easy to learn and navigate. I especially love the 'Talent University' feature where you can learn more about strengthening your organization's recruitment process. Our organization's customer success manager is always quick to respond when we are looking for additional assistance and is thorough in her explanations. The icing on the cake is how intelligently ClearCompany interacts with our HRIS system - moving someone over from 'applicant' to 'employee' has never been an easier process!

Truly, there is nothing that I dislike about ClearCompany - this is an ATS system that has been well thought out and understands what recruiters are looking for in HRIS software.

We've been using Clear Company since 2016, implementing the recruitment module first, then onboarding a few years later. Both implementations went well, moving as fast or slow as we wanted. Ongoing customer service is outstanding. We have a monthly call that addresses new features and any concerns we have.  The platform is stable and I can recall only a handful of times when it went down, and tech support was always on it and the site was back up in no time. Other times I've reached out to tech support have also been great; speedy responses and resolution.

**What do you dislike about ClearCompany?**

Clear Co is great and they continue to make enhancements and listen to customer feedback. One thing I haven't shared but would like to see is more sort and filter functionality on the recruitment platform - specifically on the Requisition tab to function more like Excel with filtering options.

Clear Company has streamlined what was a very manual paper process. We can get stakeholder approvals more efficiently and with mobile access.  We're looking at the performance management module to streamline these processes as well.

**What do you like best about ClearCompany?**

The staff has been great to work with and are always prompt in helping troubleshoot or brainstorm ideas. After having three different LMS options for employees, this has been the one that admin roles have preferred the most for ease of use. We are able to use multiple features that our other systems did not have to comply with our needs; specifically, we love being able to create evaluations for on-the-job skills.

**What do you dislike about ClearCompany?**

Haven't really found a dislike yet. Most of the problems have been from our side as the users. The integration in with our HRIS could have been a bit smoother, but we had to have three departments on the call just to get clarity on how we proceed.

**What problems is ClearCompany solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had approximately five systems in our organization serving the needs of specific departments. This system allow each of those departments to have their needs met while allowing the company a more holistic approach to training records.

**What do you like best about ClearCompany?**

ClearCo's interface is clean and easy to navigate. The dashboard provides a quick overview of our hiring pipeline, and the system was straightforward for our team to learn, with minimal training required. It has noticeably improved our recruiting efficiency by automating many of the manual tasks we previously handled. The customer service team is responsive and knowledgeable, addressing our queries promptly. The features and performance justify the cost, offering good value for our investment. Overall, ClearCompany has been a game-changer for our recruitment process. I highly recommend it to any organization looking to streamline their hiring operations.

**What do you dislike about ClearCompany?**

There aren't any dislikes I have for ClearCo. You honestly get what you pay for and ClearCompany is worth the cost.

**What problems is ClearCompany solving and how is that benefiting you?**

ClearCompany has automated all of the previous new hire and onboarding processes that used to be handled manually. We're able to better retain applicant records, and streamline the candidate's applications and new hire processes.

**What do you like best about ClearCompany?**

As a recruiter, I have used several ATS's and ClearCompany is my favorite! It is very user friendly . It is easy to navigate, update, and the candidate workflows makes sense. I love the ability to text or email the candidate within the system, and being able to respond on my phone or email inbox without having to be logged in and working directly in the system.

**What do you dislike about ClearCompany?**

The only downside I have found is in the Onboarding Setup. Editing New Hire Packet Templates is not as straight forward or user friendly. That area of the system could definitely use some improvements.

**What do you like best about ClearCompany?**

I really appreciated that while the company and new system was not at all known at first, our Sales person and the Implementation person were both very patient and understanding. They allowed us to take the time needed to consider the options, and also to learn the system and details. That is not found in many companies anymore. It didn't seem as though we are just a number to them. What a blessing!

**What do you dislike about ClearCompany?**

That we had to move on from our Implementation Manager. Tim was such a blessing teaching and guiding through the system.

**What problems is ClearCompany solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Any issues I have had, or questions, they have been quick to help. Even to include somehow kicking myself out of the entire system. It was no time before Tim had it fixed and I was able to move forward again.

I love how adaptable inavigate and utilise. Its adaptability is particularly commendable, allowing seamless integration into our existing systems and workflows. The feature I appreciate most is its robust grouping and automatic assignment capabilities, which streamline the training process and significantly reduce administrative burdens. Additionally, Brainier offers a plethora of reporting options, both customisable and pre-built, catering to diverse analytical needs. Notably, the support team exemplifies excellence, consistently providing prompt and effective assistance.

**What do you dislike about ClearCompany?**

While Brainier excels in many aspects, one minor inconvenience I've encountered is the manual addition of access for new hires to existing trainings. Although this may be attributed to my own oversight, it would be beneficial to explore automated solutions for this task to further enhance efficiency and alleviate administrative overhead.

**What problems is ClearCompany solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Brainier LMS is a game-changer for us, solving critical training challenges and benefiting our organization in several ways. It streamlines our processes, saving time and resources. Their newsletters keep us informed about new features, while the news board feature ensures everyone stays updated on the latest courses and system updates. We're excited about the upcoming AI video tool, which promises to further enhance our learning experiences. Overall, Brainier LMS helps us stay ahead and fosters a culture of continuous improvement.
