**What do you like best about Crosschq?**

I find Crosschq's user interface very easy to use and user-friendly, which is important to me. Managing the candidate pipeline with TalentWall is seamless and it gives me great insights into the health of the pipeline. It's particularly helpful for seeing where requisitions stand and whether candidates have gone stale. I really love Crosschq and can't think of any specific improvements right now. The initial setup was extremely easy, and it's also integrated fully with Greenhouse, which is a big plus for me.  The 360 reference checks also save us a ton of time!

Crosschq makes managing our candidate pipeline seamless and allows us to look at analytics for recruiting efforts and share executive dashboards. TalentWall helps manage pipelines, assess the health of requisitions, and identify stale candidates.

**What do you like best about Crosschq?**

The user interface is sleek and easy to use. It has been very helpful in adding information about our new hires that we can use in our hiring decisions and beyond. There are also other features of the platform, like a sourcing component, and the automated prospect alerts has been great.

**What do you dislike about Crosschq?**

I think there is room for improvement to remember the roles you add in for your company, if they are outside of what is listed. But our support team and ease of use has made it a platform I enjoy!

**What problems is Crosschq solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our main use of the tool is for it's reference checks!  It has made the process very easy and simple, both emailing and texting the candidate. It's great to bring data elements into our decision making process. We've also heard great things from our candidates. It's so nice to see a streamlined report with notes and details pertinent to the role they are applying to, and to the company values we added.

What we love most about working with Crosschq is how remarkably efficient their platform is for both our team and our candidates. The streamlined process saves us time and effort while ensuring an excellent candidate experience. Additionally, the presentation of candidates after their references are completed is outstanding. The detailed and organized insights give us a clear and comprehensive view, making it easy to make confident hiring decisions. Crosschq has truly elevated our reference-checking process!

The unique login per user makes integration with our application tracking system a little tricky but we found a favorable workaround.

With the high volume of contractor hiring we’re managing, Crosschq helps us maintain a strong focus on quality of hire while meeting our demanding hiring timelines. The platform quickly alerts us to potential quality concerns in a candidate’s background, enabling us to follow up efficiently and address any issues. **What do you like best about Crosschq?**

As a leader of a very small HR team that does a lot of recruiting, this is one of my favorite tools. It saves us so much time with reference checks, and the surveys are actually really insightful. We have made hiring decisions based off the feedback, and it has saved us from hiring the wrong candidate many times. I also love that the references can opt to be passive candidates as well - we have hired a few folks that way!

**What do you dislike about Crosschq?**

The only thing is I wish I could push potential candidates from the referrals into our ATS. I also wish that they could also upload a resume. Not a huge deal, but would help with recruiting them!

**What problems is Crosschq solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Making reference checking less of a pain and more effective!

Crosschq does support automatic prospect uploading for many ATSs, however, not all ATSs support this feature within their APIs. In that case, there is the option to download potential prospects into a CSV file and upload them into the ATS manually. **What do you like best about Crosschq?**

It offers easy of access for both customers and applicants. The recruiting metrics for overall score from referrals is excellent and the security of knowing when there maybe potential for fraudulent submissions  is a plus. The filing process and the format of the reports is easy to comprehend and all the information is stored in one system or can be exported to private files. It is overall a useful tool for any company and HR team.

**What do you dislike about Crosschq?**

I would like for the system to have a set elapsed timeperiod installed for completion of the references by applicants (14-21 days is more than enough time).

**What problems is Crosschq solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows us to view feedback from people who have had close contact or work relationships with candidates that may eventually be potential new hires. It's an indirect way of conducting another form of background on a candidate in a lesser and informal process.

**What do you like best about Crosschq?**

You get to know how your candidates view their own work and how it stacks up against what their colleagues experience working with them. It's been very helpful to know what areas we may need to offer additional support to employees who've joined our team. There are also security measures in place that have kept us from hiring people who were dishonest throughout their hiring process. Hiring is important at every company, but especially at a small startup where every role has a significant impact on the organization; Crosschq is super helpful to our team.

**What do you dislike about Crosschq?**

It's easy to use, so I only dislike the inability to edit the pre-made templates that Crossq360 offers. You can add additional questions, but I wish it were possible to edit the existing questions to create something new.

Getting a more wholistic perspective of how candidates operate.

Our ATS system provides weak data and minimal insights but TalentWall from CrossChq provides detailed, real time, actionable insights for our recruiting team.  The data and insights give us long term and short term trend analysis and enables recruitment and HR to be nimble.

**What do you dislike about Crosschq?**

I wish we could correlate the hiring plan with compensation ranges in our ATS to track our spend against hiring plan while including cost decay based on time of year the new hire starts.  Heard its in the works but only thing I could think of.

**What problems is Crosschq solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Provides real time metrics from ATS in a Dashboard with Analytics capabailities to evaluate trends and around customizable time frames.  Also provides Tools for tracking annual hiring plan, time spent recruiting specific roles, interviewer time commitment and costs associated with recruitment efforts.

**What do you like best about Crosschq?**

What I like best about CrossChq is everything that is happening behind the scenes. It only takes a minute to set up a reference check for a new candidate and the only other thing I need to do is wait for the results. I look forward to our monthly meetings on the product and how it is working for us. I also like that they consider my suggestions for future improvements. I also appreciate the IP address and detemining if there could be fraudalent activity, as this has really helped the Supervisors determine if they want to move forward with a candidate. This product is very easy to use and we only needed an hour meeting to get started using the product.

**What do you dislike about Crosschq?**

I would like to see Exiting Interviews including in our original pricing, and not an additional fee. Other than that, I do not have any dislikes about CrossChq.

**What problems is Crosschq solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem they are solving is that Supervisors no longer have to contact references by phone or email. It use to take them at least a couple of weeks to complete references.

I do wish the tool didn't present a "thumbs down" graphic for a reference saying they'd recommend a candidate based on the job

**What do you like best about Crosschq?**

Crosschq makes references easy! No more hours of playing phone tag, leaving voicemails, sending emails, etc. You send an invite to your candidate, they add their reference contact info, references add their comments, and ta-da! The reference is complete! There are also features that detect fraud, like if two references are using the same IP address, which is a great feature, allowing HR teams to dig a bit deeper if needed. The system is easy to use, integrating with our ATS, so implementation was a breeze. The reference check reports come out so clean! We have often fallen back on our reference checks several times for our internal and external audits, because our auditors require either background check or reference checks for all of our hires, and we can provide that with Crosschq! Our CSM is so kind and speedy to respond, pricing is fair, and this is overall a top-notch reference check product if your org is required to run them.

I've worked with Crosschq across companies for roughly 3 years and have really enjoyed the experience. The platform is intuitive, easy to use, and simple to modify. They continuously roll out features that continue to make the product better and follow feedback shared by their customers. The CSM team is incredibly helpful and quick to respond.

**What do you dislike about Crosschq?**

I'd love to see the scale of performance for reference checks evolve in time. At this time it is not editable at an organization level.

**What do you like best about Crosschq?**

As a reference check platform Crosschq is super easy to use and a light lift for the candidate and recruiter, while still providing powerful insights to the hring team.
I've also found that as a sourcing platform, references can opt in to new opportunities which provides the recruiting team with an amazing resource to source proven candidates without the awkward conversations we used to have, checking references over the phone! Win win.

So far, nothing stands out a negative. It does the job!

It completely automates the reference check process. This used to take a long time to schedule a call with a reference and have an effective conversation. Now, we send a link and get the report back, easy peasy.

We like the consistent process we follow for all candidates. We are able to assess candidates based on the key competencies and personalise depending on the level of role.

This makes for faster hires, gives us the ability to manage data securely and makes us confident of our hiring decisions.

Customer support always revert back quickly and do there very best to overcome any issues.

**What do you dislike about Crosschq?**

We have faced some issues initiating references through CrossChq via our ATS however running these manually through the CrossChq platform is straight forward.

It is cost efficient and time efficient when working across the globe and it reduces our time to offer

On my end of the program, it seems like the questions may be limiting. However, I would guess there is an option to increase or change the questions.

It allows for quick in depth feedback on potential candidates with a very low lift from my side.

Crosschq saves templates, so you don't have to set up something new every time! It is straightforward to use for us and our applicants. Have very few problems from applicants.

Sometimes it sends broken links to the applicants (at least that is what they report). Usually i will just cancel the request and send a new one and it works just fine!

Crosschq is making it so that while recruiting, I can submit the applicant's information and have their references fill out a survey. If I didn't have crosschq I would have to call three references per applicant.

TalentWall is a tool that will help you to have the most basic descriptive analytics as a plug & play tool. Most of the companies need to understand how many hires, how many offers, interviews, open jobs you have and the different ATS's allow you to get this data via reports or API's or other difficult ways. TalentWall allows you to see all the most common metrics (and more) with really few, non-code configurations.

So far the tool is great but of course, everybody wants more customization and the dashboards that you can create are great, but still, it would be good if we can have more color or fonts available.

TalentWall is helping us to resolve the basics of day-to-day recruiting needs. With TalentWall we have now more transparency around our data, people are upgrading their data-driven mindset and learning how to transform data into information, knowledge and wisdom and it's great to see that they are not keeping that only to the team, people are using this data to make better decisions and that is making them more strategic.

TalentWall drives my personal work - it's one of the first tools I look at daily to determine what I work on first.  
As a team, we also use it daily to communicate with our stakeholders. It helps guide the conversation between open roles and our pipeline to fill the positions. 
Our stakeholders use it on their own to take a peek at what is happening with certain pipelines of candidates.

**What do you dislike about Crosschq?**

Currently, there is nothing we dislike using TalentWall. It's the opposite- it has positively boosted our work and communications.

**What problems is Crosschq solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We find TalentWall a great boon to our candidate management activities. It is one of the main drivers of keeping our interview process very tight and our candidates well cared for. 

TalentWall has made our conversations with stakeholders more productive by providing a view of pipelines and being able to quickly see specific candidates that we need to duscuss. 

It is a time saver in that there are some activities that we can conduct right in TalentWall instead of having to also open up Greenhouse. 

We have just begun to look at the reporting tools and we already know that some of these reports will be on our regular dashboard. We are excited to trial the cost per interviews feature in the near future.

I like how user-friendly it is and how the data is presented - it makes it very easy to use and easy to understand. I love the various filters and the ability to grab visuals of the data which is helpful for presentation purposes. I like how seamless it is integrated with our ATS.

For roles with a high volume of candidates, it becomes difficult to navigate; the pages take too long to load and it is hard to analyze. Some of the data does not load at all or it loads incorrectly.

TalentWall is an amazing solution for weekly hiring manager calls and executive analytics. We use the tool in our weekly calls with hiring managers to share where candidates are in the process, make decisions from the meeting (move candidates in the process, reject, add notes). It allows us to very clearly have a snapshot of what is going on. We have built a custom dashboard for the exec team on priority roles that gets shared weekly. 

The analytics page is incredible. As a person who has built many custom reports, having a tool that does all analytics for you is incredible. We closely track our Time to Hire, Time to Fill, activity over time, and conversion rates.

**What do you dislike about Crosschq?**

We don't have any major concerns, TW is incredible at addressing any product improvements or feature updates quickly through their community Slack channel.

**Recommendations to others considering Crosschq:**

If you are using Greenhouse, I highly recommend getting TalentWall. Make it part of your regular recruiting process so that hiring managers and executives are used to the data and can start to leverage it for improvements to the overall recruitment process.

Ease of use. Crosschq thought about companies that are growing fast and have a focus on efficiency. The online vs. over-the-phone checks have more information and are more insightful than an awkward phone call with someone you barely know. This gives the person leaving the reference space to be authentic about their experience with the candidate and the hiring team more insightful information about the said candidate. The self-evaluation is also delightful as it gives the new hiring manager a roadmap on how to work best with their new direct report.

**What do you dislike about Crosschq?**

Oh man, I like the integration with Lever (our ATS), how fast the checks are done, the reminder emails... I am having some serious trouble coming up with what I don't like.

**What problems is Crosschq solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The problem was that reference check calls were not giving us any other information about the candidate we didn't already find out during the interview process. It was a headache to schedule, awkward to try and fit in, and didn't yield any valuable information. We were super close to just not doing reference checks in general. Crosschq helped with all that while also providing useful, actionable information.

Crosschq streamlines how references checks for candidates can be completed. It feels nearly effortless on the requestor's end and allows candidates to upload their references very easily.

On the candidate's end, they have trouble if they upload the same reference twice or if they need to edit a reference. For example, if they upload the wrong email address, it can be difficult to edit.

There is a new feature that helps with recruiting - soon to come! Might be worth checking out once it is live.

A big problem that we have solved with Crosschq is ensuring that reference checks are not completing their request from the same IP address. The biggest benefit is that the reference can be completed on everyone's own time and there are reminders if the request is not complete in a timely manner.

Maybe an explanation of the rating system. I find that a reference will rate the candidate low but then give fantastic feedback. I wonder if it is because they do not understand the rating system sometimes.
