## Workable Reviews
 ### 1. Workable: Streamlining Recruitment with Ease

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sherlynne D. | Talent Acquisition Specialist ||, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Workable?**

Since using Workable more extensively, I’ve also come to appreciate its reporting and analytics features. They provide clear insights into hiring performance, such as time-to-hire, source effectiveness, and pipeline bottlenecks, making it easier to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.

I also like the interview scorecards and evaluation forms, which help keep feedback structured and consistent across interviewers. This makes collaboration more objective and ensures hiring decisions are based on standardized criteria rather than scattered notes.

Another feature I’ve found valuable is the centralized candidate database. It’s easy to search past applicants, revisit strong candidates for new openings, and build a talent pool for future hiring needs, reducing the time spent sourcing from scratch.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

One area where Workable could improve is by offering more flexibility in automation workflows. Having the ability to create more advanced, conditional automations (for example, triggering different actions based on candidate responses or interview outcomes) would help streamline repetitive tasks even further.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workable has solved several key recruitment challenges for us, most importantly centralizing and streamlining the entire hiring process. Before using Workable, managing multiple job postings, tracking candidate progress, and ensuring timely communication often meant juggling spreadsheets, emails, and separate calendars. Now, everything — from job posting to onboarding — lives in one organized, easy-to-navigate platform.

One of the biggest problems it addresses is candidate communication and engagement. With automated qualified/disqualified emails, personalized templates, and interview scheduling tools, candidates are kept informed at every stage. This not only saves time but also enhances the candidate experience, which is crucial for employer branding.

It has also eliminated the hassle of manual follow-ups for tasks like case study submissions. By setting automated reminders, we reduce delays and keep the hiring pipeline moving efficiently.

Additionally, Workable’s AI-powered sourcing and resume search help us find relevant profiles faster, cutting down the time-to-fill and ensuring we focus our efforts on the most promising candidates. The collaboration features allow hiring managers and recruiters to review candidates, leave notes, and make decisions in real time — which has significantly improved team alignment and decision-making speed.

Overall, Workable has turned what used to be a time-consuming, scattered process into a streamlined, collaborative, and candidate-friendly experience, enabling us to fill roles faster while maintaining quality.

 ### 2. Workable Review: From Posting to Placement

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Charmi K. | Talent Acquisition Specialist - II, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 11, 2025

**What do you like best about Workable?**

One feature I've particularly appreciated is the AI-powered candidate matching and resume screening, which helps identify relevant profiles more efficiently. I also like the customizable hiring pipelines and interview scorecards, which make collaboration with hiring managers more structured and transparent. The ability to maintain a centralized candidate database and quickly revisit past applicants has also been valuable for improving hiring efficiency.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

Overall, Workable has been a great ATS, but a few enhancements would make it even more efficient. Better duplicate candidate detection across jobs would help reduce manual effort. It would also be useful to have more advanced search and filtering options within the talent pool (e.g., by skills, notice period, or custom tags). Additionally, customizable dashboards and reports for hiring managers would provide quicker insights into recruitment progress.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workable has streamlined our entire recruitment process by centralizing candidate management in one platform, from job posting to final offer. It solves the challenge of manually tracking applications by automatically publishing openings across multiple job boards and sourcing channels. The system’s structured recruitment funnel, real-time reporting, and collaboration tools make it easy for hiring managers and HR to stay aligned, reducing time-to-hire. Features like interview scheduling, scorecards, and candidate communication templates have improved consistency and candidate experience

 ### 3. "Workable: A Reliable Partner in Hiring"

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bhagyashri K. | Talent Acquisition Specialist-I, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 12, 2025

**What do you like best about Workable?**

One of the most impressive updates to Workable is its highly evolved AI Copilot, which goes far beyond basic text generation to act as a true strategic assistant. It can instantly analyze a candidate's resume against a job description to generate personalized interview questions and summarize their profile for quick review, saving hours of manual preparation time. Additionally, the platform's direct integration of WhatsApp messaging straight into the applicant tracking timeline has completely transformed candidate communication by meeting job seekers where they are most responsive, all while keeping interactions centralized and compliant. Combined with a revamped multi-part interview auto-scheduler that seamlessly strings together consecutive panel rounds without the usual email back-and-forth, these advancements make managing complex, high-volume recruitment pipelines incredibly smooth.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

While Workable excels at managing standard hiring pipelines, there is significant room for improvement in its reporting and analytics module, which can still feel rigid when trying to build highly customized, cross-functional data dashboards for enterprise-level tracking. Additionally, its native Candidate Relationship Management (CRM) features for nurturing passive talent pools feel somewhat basic compared to dedicated sourcing platforms, often lacking advanced email segmentation and automated drip-campaign triggers. Users would also benefit from deeper, more flexible out-of-the-box integrations with third-party HRIS systems to eliminate manual data entry after a candidate is hired, alongside more granular permission settings for collaborative hiring panels to better protect sensitive candidate information.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workable has helped centralize our entire hiring process, solving the problem of managing applications across multiple platforms and scattered email threads. With its integrated job posting, candidate tracking, and team collaboration tools, we can save time, reduce miscommunication, and make faster, more informed hiring decisions. The structured interview kits also ensure fairness and consistency in evaluations, improving the quality of hires.

 ### 4. Streamlining Hiring with Efficiency and Precision Through Workable | Great ATS to work with

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yusra K. | Assistant Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Workable?**

1. AI-powered candidate matching – It recommends qualified candidates from a database of over 400 million profiles, helping recruiters find talent much faster.

2.All-in-one hiring platform – I like that sourcing, ATS, interview scheduling, collaboration, analytics, and HR tools are integrated into one platform instead of requiring multiple systems.

Workable Assistant – The AI assistant helps recruiters with HR questions, hiring best practices, and platform guidance, making it easier to navigate recruiting tasks.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

More customizable reporting

"I'd love to see even more flexibility in dashboards and analytics, so teams can create reports tailored to their specific hiring KPIs."

More integration options

"Expanding integrations with additional HR, payroll, and productivity tools would make it even easier for companies with diverse tech stacks."

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

1. AI-Powered Resume Screening with Role Match Scoring
Problem solved: Manually sorting through resumes can be time-consuming and inconsistent.
Benefit: Workable’s AI analyzes resumes, extracts key qualifications, and generates a match score that reflects how well each candidate aligns with your role requirements—helping you zero in on top-fit applicants quickly.
2. Unified Candidate Profiles & Duplicate Management
Problem solved: Duplicate or scattered candidate profiles can create confusion and workflow inefficiencies.
Benefit: Workable groups multiple applications from the same email under one candidate, reducing clutter and ensuring every interaction is organized and accessible, this help avoid duplicacy too.
3. IJP's through workable: Instead of maintaing G forms now we have started doing IJP's through workable, and employee/candidates are able to tracke their progress too.
4.Seamless Interview Scheduling & Calendar Sync
Problem solved: Endless email chains and scheduling conflicts.
Benefit: With self-scheduling features and calendar integrations (Google, Outlook), candidates can choose slots autonomously while reminders and sync updates keep everyone on the same page—saving time and reducing admin.

 ### 5. Intuitive End-to-End Hiring Workflow That Streamlines Recruiting

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Harshad S. | Human Resources, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 14, 2026

**What do you like best about Workable?**

What I like most about Workable is its intuitive, end-to-end hiring workflow. It makes it simple to manage job postings, track candidates through every stage of the hiring process, collaborate with hiring teams through shared notes and evaluations, and communicate with candidates from one central platform. The automation tools, customizable pipelines, and reporting features also help streamline recruitment and enhance the overall candidate experience.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

Nothing specific, really. It’s just easier to track all the applicants in one place on a single platform.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workable addresses the challenge of managing the entire recruitment process in one place. Rather than juggling spreadsheets, emails, and multiple separate tools, it centralizes candidate sourcing, application tracking, interview scheduling, team collaboration, and communication. As a result, it saves time, cuts down on administrative work, strengthens collaboration across hiring teams, and offers clearer visibility into the hiring pipeline, which supports faster and more organized hiring decisions.

 ### 6. How Workable Improved Our Recruitment Workflow

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ayesha K. | HR generalist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Workable?**

What I like best about Workable is its user-friendly interface and how it simplifies the entire hiring process—from job posting to candidate onboarding. The platform makes it easy to collaborate with hiring teams, track applicant progress, and communicate with candidates all in one place. Features like customizable pipelines, interview scheduling, and integrated evaluation tools save time and keep the process organized. It’s efficient, intuitive, and helps ensure a smooth and professional experience for both recruiters and applicants

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

Previous Response: While Workable is a powerful tool, there are a few areas that could be improved. The reporting and analytics features, for example, can feel somewhat limited when trying to generate more customized or in-depth insights. Additionally, some users may find the learning curve a bit steep at first, especially when managing multiple roles or integrating with other HR systems. More flexibility in customization and better support for niche use cases would make it even more effective

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workable is solving complexities of various profiles and this comes out easy when we use workflows

 ### 7. Toronto Lands Corporation loves our Workable! Workable continues to be the best recruitment platform we've used

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** George K. | Head of People & Culture, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 07, 2021

**What do you like best about Workable?**

Toronto Lands Corporation has been using Workable as our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for over four years, and it continues to be our recruitment platform of choice. As the Head of People & Culture, I've used several recruitment systems throughout my career, and Workable consistently stands out for its ease of use, functionality, innovation, and outstanding customer support.

When we first implemented Workable, we were looking for a solution that would streamline our end-to-end recruitment process while providing an exceptional experience for both hiring managers and candidates. Today, it continues to exceed those expectations.

The platform is intuitive, easy to learn, and quick to implement. Our initial setup—including our careers page and integrations with Outlook, Zoom, and Microsoft Teams—was straightforward, and onboarding was well supported through training resources, knowledge articles, webinars, and an exceptionally responsive customer support team. Whenever we've had questions, the online chat and email support have consistently been knowledgeable, professional, and quick to respond.

One of Workable's greatest strengths is how much time it saves throughout the recruitment lifecycle. We can create and publish job postings to multiple free and premium job boards with just a few clicks, while also leveraging Workable's AI-powered sourcing capabilities to proactively identify high-quality candidates. The AI-assisted job description writer helps us create clear, inclusive, and compelling job postings in a fraction of the time, while AI-generated candidate summaries allow our hiring managers to review applicants more efficiently.

One of the newest features we've found particularly valuable is Workable's AI Score, which quickly evaluates how well each candidate aligns with the role based on their experience, skills, and qualifications. It provides an excellent starting point for screening applications while still allowing recruiters to apply their own judgment and expertise. Workable has also introduced AI Agents, which have the potential to automate much of the recruitment process—from sourcing and screening candidates to progressing applicants through the hiring workflow—helping organizations recruit even more efficiently while maintaining a high-quality candidate experience.

Our recruitment process is highly automated. From candidate communications and interview scheduling to evaluations, offer letters, and hiring approvals, Workable keeps everything organized in one place. All emails, interview notes, scorecards, attachments, assessments, and communications automatically become part of each candidate's profile, creating a complete recruitment history that is easy to access and audit.

We particularly appreciate the platform's flexibility. Our hiring pipelines are fully customizable to match different recruitment processes, and the extensive library of interview question templates, scorecards, email templates, and recruitment resources has helped us standardize hiring practices across the organization while improving the overall candidate experience.

The scheduling tools integrate seamlessly with our calendars, making it easy to coordinate interviews without endless back-and-forth emails. We also appreciate the ability to upload candidates from external sources, ensuring every applicant is tracked within a single system regardless of how they applied.

Reporting and analytics continue to improve. We regularly use Workable's dashboards and reports to monitor recruitment metrics such as time-to-hire, candidate sources, hiring pipeline performance, and overall recruitment effectiveness. These insights have helped us continuously improve our hiring process and make more informed decisions.

The mobile app is another valuable feature, allowing us to review candidates, collaborate with hiring managers, communicate with applicants, and move recruitment forward wherever we are.

Some of our favourite features include:

AI-assisted job description creation and candidate sourcing
AI Score for faster and more informed candidate screening
AI Agents that can automate significant portions of the recruitment process
Fully customizable hiring pipelines
Integrated interview scheduling with Outlook and Microsoft Teams
Collaborative evaluation scorecards and interview kits
Automated candidate communications and offer letters
Comprehensive reporting and recruitment analytics
Centralized candidate records and communication history
Responsive customer support and continuous product enhancements
Excellent mobile application

After more than four years of daily use, Workable continues to evolve with meaningful new features while remaining incredibly easy to use. It has significantly streamlined our recruitment process, improved collaboration among hiring managers, enhanced the candidate experience, and enabled us to make better hiring decisions through data and automation.

For organizations looking for a modern, reliable, and feature-rich recruitment platform, I would highly recommend Workable. It has been an excellent investment for Toronto Lands Corporation and remains one of the most valuable tools in our People & Culture technology stack.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

While Workable continues to innovate—particularly with AI Score, AI Agents, and ongoing automation—there are still opportunities to make an excellent platform even better. Future enhancements could include AI-generated interview notes and summaries that allow interviewers to focus on candidates rather than note-taking, expanded AI Agent capabilities across the entire recruitment lifecycle, a more robust talent community/CRM for ongoing candidate engagement, improved scheduling for complex panel interviews, standardized screening question libraries that can be applied across all job postings, deeper predictive recruitment analytics and dashboards, and greater customization of AI recommendations based on an organization's unique hiring criteria. These enhancements would further strengthen an already outstanding recruitment platform.

**Recommendations to others considering Workable:**

A great price effective option for any size organization!

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Has fully automated our hiring process resulting in a more effective process and a better candidate experience. The benefits far outweigh the things that need to be improved.

 ### 8. Workable using since 2022

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mohd K. | HR Generalist, Non-Profit Organization Management, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Workable?**

One of the things I have really liked recently is the continuous improvement in Workable. The platform has become more intuitive, and features like resume summaries and easier interview scheduling have helped reduce manual effort. I also appreciate that it's easy to collaborate with hiring managers, track candidates, and manage the hiring process in one place. Overall, the recent updates have made recruitment faster and more organized without adding unnecessary complexity.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

One area where Workable could improve is reporting and analytics. While the available reports are useful, I'd like to see more customization options and the ability to build reports based on specific business needs. It would also be helpful if some workflows required fewer clicks and offered more flexibility for larger hiring teams. Overall, these are relatively minor improvements, as the platform is reliable and easy to use.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Organized hiring process, one centralized platform for hiring, and an applicant tracking system, increase the job visibility, remove manual intervention, attract more qualified candidates, and save time.

 ### 9. Decent system with a few limitations

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Merryn T. | Head of Talent , Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Workable?**

Overall, Workable is intuitive and easy to use, which makes onboarding new hiring managers straightforward. The collaboration features are strong, particularly the interview scorecards, shared candidate notes and hiring pipeline visibility.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

There are a few areas that would make a big difference for in-house recruitment teams:

It would be really helpful to be able to comment on, email and manage candidate records without first attaching them to an active job. We often want to keep notes on passive candidates or reach out about future opportunities, and currently have to add them to a job before we can do this.

The automation builder could be much more flexible. For example, acknowledgement emails can be configured across all jobs, but disqualification emails still require selecting individual jobs and stages. We'd love the ability to create truly global automations that apply consistently across all roles.

Search could be improved. It relies heavily on consistent tagging, which is difficult when multiple recruiters are using the system. Better search across candidate profiles, notes and previous applications would make it much easier to rediscover strong candidates.

Candidate relationship management (CRM) features could be stronger. It would be useful to build and manage talent pools, communicate with passive candidates and maintain relationships outside of active recruitment campaigns.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It keeps a record of all of our jobs and candidates. It also keeps all of our interview templates organized.

**Official Response from Marientina Chardalia:**

> Thank you for bringing your concerns to our attention. We genuinely appreciate your openness and regret any challenges you've faced. Your feedback is instrumental in our continuous improvement journey. If you're comfortable sharing more details about the specific issues, we'd love to understand better and work towards a resolution. Please feel free to connect with us at support@workable.com. Your satisfaction is our top priority, and we look forward to the opportunity to address your concerns and improve your experience with our product.

 ### 10. Review is great

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Simran R. | Talent Acquisition Specialist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 06, 2025

**What do you like best about Workable?**

Self-rescheduling for interviews improves the candidate experience by allowing applicants to reschedule interviews themselves while respecting interviewer availability and calendar rules

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

Mobile recruiting: Although Workable has mobile capabilities, recruiters who spend a lot of time away from their desks could benefit from a more feature-complete mobile experience for reviewing candidates, collaborating with hiring teams, and approving offers.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Faster Hiring Cycles: Automation and organized workflows reduce time-to-hire.

Better Candidate Experience: Prompt communication and smoother processes keep candidates engaged.

Improved Quality of Hire: Data-driven decisions and collaborative evaluations improve hiring outcomes.

Time Savings for HR/Recruiters: Less manual work and more focus on strategic tasks.

Scalability: Whether hiring for 5 roles or 50, Workable scales efficiently.

 ### 11. Workable Streamlines Hiring with Organized, Easy Collaboration

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Preeti Y. | Senior Analyst- HR Operations , Consulting, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** May 29, 2026

**What do you like best about Workable?**

What I like most about Workable is how organized it makes the hiring process. Everything—from candidate applications to interview feedback—is managed in one place, which makes it much easier to track progress and stay on top of recruitment activities.

I also appreciate how simple it is for recruiters and hiring managers to collaborate. Sharing feedback, reviewing candidates, and moving applicants through the different stages feels smooth and efficient. Overall, it streamlines hiring and saves a lot of time by keeping the entire recruitment process clearly structured and easy to manage.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

There isn’t much to dislike, since the platform supports recruitment processes really well. If I had to highlight one area for improvement, it would be adding a bit more flexibility for customizing workflows and reports so they can better align with different hiring practices.

A few of the more advanced features can also take some time to fully explore when you’re just getting started. That said, these are fairly minor points and they don’t detract from the platform’s overall ease of use or its effectiveness.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workable helps address the challenge of managing recruitment efficiently, especially when you’re handling multiple candidates and several open roles at the same time. Without a centralized system, it’s easy for candidate tracking, interview scheduling, and feedback collection to become scattered and difficult to manage.

By bringing everything into one platform, Workable makes it simpler to follow applicants through each stage, collaborate with hiring managers, and keep the overall hiring process organized. This cuts down on administrative work, supports faster decisions, and improves the candidate experience. Overall, it makes recruitment more structured, efficient, and easier to manage from start to finish.

 ### 12. Nice solution with to quickly post a job across dozens of platforms at once

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lloyd W. | Operations Specialist, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Workable?**

It's integration with so many of the hiring platforms makes it very easy to get a job posted widely across the hiring universe. The workflows and templates make it much quicker to move applicants through the customizable stages. The built-in asynchronous interview video questions/responses are great for remote hiring to get a feel for someone's energy/tone/presence that words on a screen cannot. The zapier integration also is nice to kick off automations at every stage.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

For a small-ish to small-medium company, it's priced a bit high. They recently removed their "starter" plan so the price of entry is double of what it used to be. Probably not a problem for bigger companies, but it will make it a tougher sell for smaller companies that are not constantly hiring at least 5 positions simultaneously. We're right on the edge so for us it's a bit steep.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We get literally thousands of applications a month so it makes it much quicker to sort through and respond accordingly to everyone through use of the workflows and templates.

 ### 13. Streamlined Job Posting with Workable

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Xiaoqi Z. | HR Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Workable?**

I appreciate Workable's ability to post job openings simultaneously across multiple platforms from a single place, which saves a lot of time compared to managing each job board separately. I find the template feature really helpful because it saves us from filling out the same information manually every time. We can also duplicate previous job postings directly, so we don't have to rewrite the job description from scratch each time we hire for the same role. These features streamline our job posting process significantly.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

One thing that could be improved is duplicate candidate alerts. It would be helpful to get notified when a candidate has already been contacted by another team member.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workable lets me post job openings across multiple platforms from one place, saving time. Its template feature is great, allowing us to duplicate previous postings without rewriting job descriptions.

 ### 14. Recent upgrades actually reduce what was previously available.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mark D. | Director - Talent Acquisition, Workforce Planning and HR Analytics, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Workable?**

Very customizable platform, and excellent reporting ability.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

Unfortunately, the AI screening and job description update have been removed, and there is an expectation to pay for this as part of their AI agent, meaning we now no longer have the tools which we specifically paid for,

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The amount of profiles we receive for blue collar roles is huge, so having the ability to screen quickly and recommend a score makes a huge improvement in turnaround time.

 ### 15. Streamlined Recruitment Made Simple with Workable

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Peter V. | Demand Generation Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Workable?**

Workable has transformed into a comprehensive, AI-powered HR suite with advanced integrations, mobile-first features, and inclusive hiring tools, making it a standout platform for modern talent management.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

Workable could improve by simplifying its tiered pricing structure and reducing reliance on paid add-ons, which can significantly increase costs for growing companies.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Job Posting Distribution: The ability to post jobs to multiple boards with a single click saves considerable time and ensures wide reach.

 ### 16. Automated, Efficient, and User-Friendly

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** mateo f. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Workable?**

We recently started taking a lot more serious the requisition feature, this is an amazing tool as it has help us create more accurate reports

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

I think the AI feature still needs some work - is not as accurate as we would expect

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workable to optimize our recruitment process, automating tasks and improving candidate communication. The AI helps evaluate candidate fit, and self-scheduling simplifies interviews, resulting in an 88% process optimization.

 ### 17. Flexible Integration, Minor Limitations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bret P. | Sr. Director, Talent Acquisition & HR Shared Services, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Workable?**

I really like Workable's open API, which is a standout feature for me. It allows us to have as many API integrations as we need and makes the system very user-friendly and flexible, letting us integrate new systems and pull data without dealing with long timelines or expensive costs. I also appreciate the straightforward pricing structure of the platform, which adds to its appeal. Additionally, I love the ability to publish job ads independently of our internal requisition process, which gives us more autonomy and efficiency in our hiring process.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

There are some system limitations in being able to fine-tune notifications, give appropriate access permissions to certain aspects of the system to different user groups, and we wish there were ways to build triggering events for internal communications vs. only triggering events for external communications with candidates.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workable allows our organization to collaborate on hiring with ease, and its open API framework integrates systems without major development projects. It offers flexibility, letting our dev team connect our tech stack smoothly and experiment without lengthy timelines.

 ### 18. Intuitive, Customisable HR Platform with Smooth Onboarding and Helpful AI Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Workable?**

I like how intuitive it is and very easy to understand. i think it is also very customisable for some aspects which is great for a hr- such as being able to set up all completely unique work schedules and profile settings. I also really like the onboarding workflow and find it very easy to follow along with. I haven't really used the AI/intelligence features that much but i do like the ai customer service support as it is very helpful for getting quick answers to questions. for integration of other apps it has worked really well to integrate google but i don't think it has integrated zinc as well as possible. I am not sure of the pricing of the platform so do not feel like i can comment on it. I think it has a very strong performance it seems to handle everything well so far but we are still a relatively small company.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

there are some limitations that are not the best i think the off boarding could be impoved with automated emails and similar workflows. I think the permission levels could be improved as it does not allow line manager to only see their team as an admin they get to see everyones information which is not ideal. The other thing as when you assign line manager it would be good if their line managers manager can also act as their manager with approving stuff etc.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

workable is solving a few things for us one being the e-sign which is great and being able to get so many different document uploaded on there and being able to be signed. the other system i like is the automatic update of annual leave when start dates are added

 ### 19. User-Friendly but Needs Better Automation

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Austin M. | Recruiting Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Workable?**

I like how clean and easy the system is to navigate from a user standpoint. It's very click-friendly and makes it simple to go from the front end to the back end of the system. Making changes is pretty easy. I also like the texting feature that comes within the scheduling system, as texting is the easiest way to contact new candidates because it goes directly to their phone, which is crucial for our process since we handle a high rate of candidates and conduct numerous interviews.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

I mentioned that the automations were good, but they also have some serious flaws. The automations currently do not attach to reasons, but they attach to stages. So it seems like the system is a little bit of a half baked system to where you can do some things, but not all things. I would prefer a system that is completely customizable in every fashion. It took a couple of weeks, and learning the system was a bit of a challenge, but over time and repetition, it became a bit easier.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workable to solve reporting issues and automate tasks. It lets us cleanly move candidates through pipelines and contact them quickly via texting, speeding up our recruitment process.

 ### 20. Effortless Hiring, Needs Automation Tweaks

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ryan A. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Workable?**

I find Workable's navigation fairly simple and easy, which makes using it a breeze. The automation processes are pretty straightforward, giving us the opportunity to make everything a standard practice across different managers, hiring managers, and recruiters. It helps make our processes seamless. It cuts out unnecessary repeat work and makes it easier to find candidates, significantly reducing the time spent between coordinating calls and people across various departments. The initial setup was very easy, and with the help of the implementation team, we quickly got the hang of it without any real hiccups. I also appreciate that the features are very handy and accessible, and I think they could apply to almost any company in any industry.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

A couple of things that might help us is the ability to kinda toggle on and off some of the different automations that are set for some of our pipelines. There's a few automated messages that we send that we would like to change from time to time. You have to change them in every single pipeline all at once instead of being able to do them in individual ones. For example, our sales rep positions, we have, like, four or five of them that are open at a time. Automation is going to be the same between all of them. Where we would like to be able to have a little bit more individuality between them.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I find Workable streamlines hiring with its automation and vast candidate network, allowing easy navigation and reducing time on repetitive tasks. It streamlines coordination among departments and hiring managers, making processes seamless.

 ### 21. Effortless Setup, Powerful AI Features

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kurt G. | Fractional CHRO, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 24, 2026

**What do you like best about Workable?**

I really like Workable's AI function, which allows me to perform People searches on current or past candidates. It's great that the system finds their current social media platforms and lets me engage with them. It's also amazing how I can use an old resume and see how candidates have progressed over the years. Plus, it's a fantastic way to find new candidates who might not be actively applying but have the right credentials and are working in relevant industries. I also appreciate that you can start using Workable in just a few hours, and even though the managers needed a few days to get comfortable with the functionality, they were up and running in no time.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

For most small and medium-sized businesses, Workable has become quite expensive. The only other item that could be interesting is allowing for unlimited People searches.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workable is my single source for all recruiting data, and its AI People search helps me track candidate progress and find new talent through social media.

 ### 22. Streamlines our hiring process in an easy-to-use software

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kimberly S. | Human Resources and Office Administrator, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Workable?**

We like using their A/I technology to assess candidates.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

I wish they could more easily have available summaries of submissions of data like resumes, and content application.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workable helps us hire, as well as stores our historical hiring data. We've been using it for many years now, and it provides a wealth of helpful information.

**Official Response from Marientina Chardalia:**

> Thank you for your kind feedback and honesty! We're sorry to hear about the challenges you've experienced. Your insights are valuable to us in our ongoing efforts to improve. We'd love to learn more about the layout you mentioned so that we can address the issue more effectively. Please feel free to reach out to support@workable.com to discuss this further.

 ### 23. Intuitive software

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 01, 2025

**What do you like best about Workable?**

The HR team for the client that I was working with Workable with has since replaced it with an alternative, from the developer side of things, I preferred Workable. The documentation is superior and the embed has better controls.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

Nothing from my side as a developer. As mentioned above, the HR team chose to use a different software so we don't use it anymore at the moment. I would, however, recommend it to other clients.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I don't use Workable myself for HR, I'm a developer.

**Official Response from Cali McCoy:**

> Thank you for sharing your feedback! We're happy to hear you've found Workable's interface easy to use and our Developer API helpful for integrating with your systems.

 ### 24. Efficient Recruitment with Easy Setup and UI

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yitz S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Workable?**

I like the easy filtering in Workable, which really helps in narrowing down candidates efficiently. I appreciate the clean UI/UX and the good API capabilities that allow us to import sourced clients smoothly. Workable also lets us recruit a lot faster, which is essential for a fast-moving company like ours, and we can build highly specific tooling around Workable that fits our ATS needs. The initial setup was pretty easy, making the transition seamless.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

Probably the AI sourcing feature could be a lot better. More candidates in that.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workable for managing recruitment pipelines, handling stages, and improving candidate communication. It allows us to recruit faster and tailor specific tools that fit our ATS needs.

 ### 25. Simple, easy to use ATS

**Rating:** 3.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ana H. | People Director, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Workable?**

Straight forward, easy to use. Does not require a lot of time to set up use

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

It has not evolved as other ATS. The reporting is very minimal and the UX could be better

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Streamlining volume recruitment across multiple locations and teams

 ### 26. Clean Interface, But Feels Heavy and Overpriced for High-Volume Hiring

**Rating:** 1.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 15, 2026

**What do you like best about Workable?**

On the positive side, Workable has a very clean interface, good job posting distribution, and good candidate tracking capabilities. If you're running a structured HR operation with consistent hiring pipelines, it can absolutely deliver value. The reporting and workflow features are also helpful if you have dedicated HR staff.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

However, for a small caregiving agency, the reality is very different. Hiring is constant, urgent, and often high-volume—but not complex. We don’t need layered workflows or advanced automation as much as we need speed, affordability, and ease of use for day-to-day recruiting. In that context, Workable starts to feel heavy and overpriced for what it delivers.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

None

 ### 27. Effortless Onboarding with Exceptional Support

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Muhammad S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Workable?**

I like Workable for its clean interface that's easy to navigate and makes it easier to find and access the functionalities I need. The initial onboarding took a couple of weeks, but the implementation team was really helpful and supportive in all the steps.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

While in the initial onboarding phase, we faced a couple of bugs like not being able to remove the sample data, but these were minor and support team was helpful enough to resolve these issues.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workable helps with employee management, leave management, onboarding, and recruitment needs through ATS. Its clean interface and easy navigation make it simple to find and access functionalities.

 ### 28. Effortless Integration with Time-Saving AI Features

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arturo F. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 27, 2026

**What do you like best about Workable?**

I use Workable as an ATS and recruitment platform, and I really like its AI features that can score candidates automatically. This feature saves a lot of time, which is a valuable resource for us recruiters. I also appreciate the pricing and the easy setup of the platform.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

Recruitment takes longer than necessary, especially when evaluating candidates for entry-level roles.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workable helps with getting quality candidates and posting on different job sites. The AI features that score candidates automatically save us a lot of time, which is valuable for recruiters. The easy setup is a bonus.

 ### 29. Great tool to simplify hiring

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 26, 2022

**What do you like best about Workable?**

– Automations
– Ability to generate template so that it's easier to edit something rather than create from scratch

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

No ability to "unsend" an email you just sent but might've spotted a typo – having a 30 seconds window would be great!

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Simplifying and structuring the hiring process, helping to involve the right people at the right stages of the process.

**Official Response from Damien Smith:**

> I certainly appreciate the ability to unsend - great suggestion! Might I request you pop that thought in to our Ideation channel in Community at Workable? It's free and available to all customers, putting your feature and function recommendations directly in front of our product team.

 ### 30. Streamlines Hiring with an Easy Setup

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sinead B. | Financial Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 21, 2026

**What do you like best about Workable?**

I like that Workable makes it easy to keep everything in one spot, allowing the team to have a complete overview of the process. This gives us full visibility without needing to switch between different tools, so things don't slip through the cracks. Also, the initial setup of Workable was easy.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

reporting and analytics could be improved, particularly when trying to extract more customized or granular data.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workable for managing job boards, candidate management, and referrals, giving my team a complete overview of the process, improving visibility without needing to switch tools.

 ### 31. Effective Candidate Tracking with Room for Improvement

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Keegan T. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 12, 2026

**What do you like best about Workable?**

I like that Workable records all candidates in one single place, which helps me keep everything organized. I also appreciate how it streamlines reviews across different platforms, making the process more efficient. Tracking candidates is a feature I value a lot, as it helps me manage the applicant flow easily. Additionally, the initial setup was very easy, which was a relief.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

I find automating communications with candidates challenging. The AI ranking of candidates could be improved, and leaving notes feels burdensome.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workable records all candidates in one place, streamlining reviews across different platforms.

 ### 32. Top-Tier, User-Friendly ATS with Great Integrations and UI/UX

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rafael T. | Talent Acquisition Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Workable?**

Very well designed ATS and very user friendly. Great intergrations, UI/UX and performance is top tier.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

Not able to save offer letters while they are being reviewed. It would be nice to have a feature to send offer letters to hiring managers for review withouth having to retype the offer letter.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Great intergrations

 ### 33. Workable1

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

The interface can sometimes feel overwhelming due to its many features

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Tracking candidate progress and communication
Reducing time-to-hire through automation and organized workflows

 ### 34. Very User-Friendly with Great Team Support

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** MOHAMMAD ASIF I. | Application consultant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 10, 2026

**What do you like best about Workable?**

Very user-friendly, with great support from the team.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

The license structure is based on the number of employees working in the organization.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It’s a single platform where I can publish jobs and use a centralized system to review candidates and refine their CVs based on the job posting.

 ### 35. Effortless Candidate Management and Offer Automation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Klynn B. | HR Generalist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 09, 2026

**What do you like best about Workable?**

I find Workable incredibly valuable for automating the process of sending offer letters, which was previously a struggle when done manually. It's a relief to have this streamlined. The initial setup of Workable was very easy thanks to the helpful representees who provided clear, step-by-step instructions.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

I don't like that Workable generates random employee numbers. It would be great if it could not auto-populate those.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Workable for managing candidate pipelines and providing offer letters. It automates sending offers, which was a struggle manually.

 ### 36. Basic ATS with limited features and no resume parsing

**Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Workable?**

The AI at workable and getting best 50 fit profiles is one of the good things . Easy apply on LinkedIn set up is another good setup with workable

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

You need to provide resume screening scores against the JD . You just can’t be a repository

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We used Workable for 6 yrs as an ATS , recently moved to a different ATS due to limited features, not compatable API's and No resume parsing

**Official Response from Marientina Chardalia:**

> Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We truly appreciate your honesty, and we're sorry to hear about the challenges you've experienced.
Just to clarify though, we do offer nearly all the points you've mentioned. A resume parser is part of our standard features, and it is possible re-send updated offers to candidates. We also partner with a number of HRIS systems and recently launched our own as well. Regarding your point about limited customization options, would you mind clarifying things a little further?
Please feel free to reach out to support@workable.com to provide more details. We appreciate your business and the opportunity to make things right.

 ### 37. Streamlined Recruitment with Smooth Automation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Martin B. | Event Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2026

**What do you like best about Workable?**

I really like using Workable as our ATS for recruitment. It keeps everything organized in one place and automates a lot of manual tasks. The well-structured platform and nice UI make it easy to use, and the automation features are particularly effective. Overall, everything works well with Workable, and the initial setup was smooth.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

reporting is not the strongest

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workable keeps everything organized in one place and automates many manual tasks.

 ### 38. A Game-Changer in Hiring Efficiency

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Κατερίνα . | Senior Human Resources Generalist, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 18, 2025

**What do you like best about Workable?**

Workable has a very user-friendly interface, making it easy for both recruiters and hiring managers to navigate daily. Features like job posting to multiple boards, resume parsing, email templates, and interview scheduling save us significant time in the hiring process and has resulted to a much better employer visibility and therefore increased numbers in job applications. Furthermore, Workable consistently improves its product and values customer feedback, which makes it a reliable long-term solution.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

There are a few things that need improvement here and there, but thankfully the team is very open to feedback and most of our suggestions have been fixed.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workable helps us streamline the entire hiring process by centralizing job postings, candidate management, employee referrals, and communication in one platform. Instead of juggling multiple tools, we can post to several boards at once, parse resumes quickly, and schedule interviews seamlessly. The customizable workflows allow us to mirror our internal processes, making collaboration between recruiters and hiring managers much smoother. This saves us time, reduces manual work, and ultimately helps us hire the right people faster and more efficiently.

 ### 39. Easy to Use Platform and Innovative Company

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Craig W. | President, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2025

**What do you like best about Workable?**

Workable is one of those tools you don’t need a 3-hour training to figure out. It’s clean, intuitive, and works just as well for my recruiters as it does for hiring managers. Getting started was painless without having to drag IT into the project, just plug in and go, which let my HR and recruitment teams hit the ground running. I like that candidates can choose how they want to hear from us whether it’s email, call, or text, and the automation is spot-on. Things like email templates and interview scheduling save us a ton of time. The built-in collaboration on hiring plans is another win. We can make decisions faster without another meeting. From a leadership perspective, the monthly spotlight recaps are a nice touch. They give me a quick gut check with user permission reminders and stats like new candidates, time-to-fill, and interviews completed. It’s the right level of info without me having to dig for it.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

I wish we could build our own candidate assessments in the platform. It would keep everything in one place instead of juggling other tools. Reporting could also be more user-friendly with some real-time insights. For example, if a candidate has been sitting in one stage for too long, I’d love an alert to prompt a touch point. Interview assessments need more depth. Not having scoring or qualification feels like a miss, especially for comparing candidates. And in the archived jobs section, the only way to filter is alphabetical. Being able to sort by posted date, department, or location would make finding past roles a lot less painful.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workable helps us streamline and enhance the candidate experience, enabling our small but mighty HR and recruitment teams to move quickly and provide exceptional interactions for prospective employees. In the hospitality sector, it is essential to deliver an outstanding candidate experience, as it reflects the same level of service we expect from our team once they are onboarded.

 ### 40. One of the best ATS I have ever used

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Duvan Esteban P. | Recruiter, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Workable?**

One of the main things I highlight about Workable is that it is very easy to use. The learning curve for everyone is short, so you can jump into the application and adapt very quickly. It is also very complete, so you will have pretty much every tool you need, along with the possibility to customize everything, from jobs to candidates, stages, and what happens in each one. You will really boost your productivity and provide the best possible experience to candidates. Last but not least, it has an open API, so if you take your time you can really make the most of this app and have all your information organized in one place.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

I am missing an integration between Workable and WhatsApp. The reporting dashboard is useful, but customization options for metrics are limited. They could add an option that truly considers opportunity area metrics that are very important in recruitment, and allow you to track them or choose what to track. I think the metrics part still has room for improvement.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workable makes it much easier to manage the whole hiring process in one place. From posting jobs to tracking candidates and moving them through each stage, everything is organized and easy to follow. It saves us a lot of time on repetitive tasks, keeps the team on the same page, and helps us respond to candidates faster, which makes for a better overall experience for everyone involved.

 ### 41. A very good talent acquisition tool, but needs work to be 100% usable

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Raluca I. | Head of 2D Department, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2025

**What do you like best about Workable?**

Having all the candidates information in one place.
The tag system.
The job posting platform.
Integration of NDAs and collaboration contracts (SOWs).
The possibility to create custom pipelines adapted to each business.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

There is no way to order the candidates alphabetically.
No way to separate the profiles that have been reviewed by ones that were not reviewed (there is a hack for this using the tagging system, but other solutions should exist).
Search via tag feature does not work properly - results are unpredictable and inconsistent, especially when there are multiple tags involved, or a modifier like NOT or AND is used.
The general search tool yields inconsistent results (unclear if it enters archived jobs or not). I was able to find candidates for a specific job without being able to see the job itself (not under active jobs, nor among archived jobs).
The tag autocomplete feature is clumsy and does not help, only creates complications and the need to re-write tags.
The AI assistance feature (for talent matching the job) is useless.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Freelancers recruitment for various roles.

 ### 42. Workable keeps our hiring process organized and efficient

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Angel Therese M. | Compensation and Benefits Manager, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Workable?**

What I like best about Workable is how easy it is to use and how it keeps everything organized. It simplifies the entire hiring process, from posting jobs to tracking candidates and scheduling interviews. I also like the customizable pipelines and job templates, which save our recruiters a lot of time and help us stay consistent across different roles. Collaboration between our HR team has been much smoother since we started using it.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

If I had to point out one thing, it would be that the reporting feature could be a bit more flexible. The built-in reports are helpful, but sometimes I wish there was more room to customize them based on our specific metrics or workflows. It’s not a dealbreaker by any means—we still get great insights—but having a bit more control over how data is displayed would be a nice improvement.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workable has really helped us simplify and streamline our entire hiring process. Before, we were juggling spreadsheets, emails, and different tools just to keep track of applicants. Now, everything—from posting a job to scheduling interviews and tracking candidate progress—is all in one place.

It’s made collaboration across our hiring team so much easier. Everyone stays aligned, feedback is centralized, and nothing falls through the cracks. It’s saved us a ton of time and helped us hire more efficiently and confidently.

 ### 43. Stop the manual work. Automate it!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jasmin L. | Manager, People and Culture, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Workable?**

I love how I can organize and automate all hiring and interview steps in one platform, from job posts to interview scorecards to simply staying organized, and even onboarding. Talk about a game-changer! And yes, it was easy to implement as we didn't need to change our process; we just needed a tool to make it easier. :)

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

I do not like that you can't customize your page within Workable. Yes, it does have some customization capabilities, but it does come with roadblocks. Luckily, I was able to get my internal team to help create a careers page and embed the Workable job posts. However, this is a challenge for those who don't have the capacity or knowledge to do it. Yes, Workable offers a team to help, but that is at an extra charge. This can be an inequitable disadvantage for small businesses.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It help took an early 2000s process and mature it into a tech-enabled process.

 ### 44. It's a smooth and integrated recruiting tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jon S. | Director, People Success, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Workable?**

I've been using Workable for a couple of years now and within the last year with more consistency. There are 2 qualities I value a lot in workable: their AI powered features that allows me to add knockout questions and then have all applicants automatically matched to the role, which saves a ton of time in pre-screening. The other feature is its ability to integrate with our internal systems which doesn't require me to log into the system for every single update I need so the ease of use is great.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

I think their reporting features still have some work to do. It is great for most business. Our business though has layers of complexity that make it difficult to get the types of reports we need from most systems. Despite this, we're still happy with all else Workable does.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We can manage and track our pool of applicants seamlessly and we have the right visibility into our pool already from the landing page. Our recruitment operations improved our lives quite a bit due to the configurations we've been able to make for candidates to receive and sigh their offers and contracts. We now also have the new hires profiles pre-loaded into our HRIS thanks to the integration with Workable.

 ### 45. My #1 Fave ATS

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Samara C. | Senior Manager, People & Engagement, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Workable?**

Workable is super intuitive and easy to use. As someone who is a "visual learner" I find the layout in the Jobs dashboard to be very easy to follow and understand. Integrations with our HRIS system and Outlook Calendar are an added bonus for us. Being able to customize offer letters and put them through here instead of Word docs has also been a game changer for efficiency in our team. This is an everyday use program for me as I lead TA at our company. I couldn't trade it for the world! I love it.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

I think Workable could go farther with their feature development for automations. The templates / auto-emails work well and are easy to set-up but I wish they could be further customized with "if/then" logic for more personalized, specific triggering. This would be a noteworthy enhancement to an already gorgeous product!

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Efficient recruitment & selection!

 ### 46. Streamlined and Effective Hiring Platform for Growing Teams

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Doug M. | Partner & VP Professional Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Workable?**

Workable has brought structure and efficiency to our hiring process at ITK. It helps us spend less time managing applications while attracting a higher volume of quality candidates. The platform is intuitive, collaborative, and has made it easy to maintain a consistent process across all roles and hiring managers. The built-in templates and customizable workflows are especially valuable.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

During active hiring campaigns, the volume of email notifications can be high, especially for team members involved in multiple roles. That said, notification preferences can be easily adjusted in the settings to reduce noise

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workable has helped us centralize and streamline our talent acquisition process. Before using it, our hiring efforts were fragmented, time-consuming, and inconsistent across teams. Now, we have a unified system that improves collaboration, speeds up candidate review, and ensures a more professional and consistent experience for applicants. This has led to better hiring decisions, reduced time-to-fill, and a stronger employer brand.

 ### 47. Intuitive recruiting platform that brings structure and speed to hiring

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Reena F. | Executive Dept, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Workable?**

Clean, intuitive UI: Easy for recruiters and hiring managers to navigate without extensive training.

Collaborative workflows: The ability to tag team members, assign roles, and communicate within the platform streamlines decision-making.

Structured pipeline tracking: The visual layout of candidate stages gives clear visibility into bottlenecks and hiring velocity.

Integrated job posting: With one click, roles are posted to multiple job boards, saving time and effort.

Interview kits & scorecards: Keeps interviewers aligned and enables objective candidate evaluation.

Candidate experience tools: Customizable email templates and branding features make outreach and scheduling feel personal and professional.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

Limited customization of reports unless using premium tiers or integrating with external BI tools.

Some automation gaps: Features like automated nudges for pending approvals or overdue tasks could be improved.

Filtering and advanced search in the candidate pool could be more dynamic, especially for large-scale hiring.

Mobile app limitations: Great for quick views, but not ideal for deeper task execution like interview scheduling or workflow edits.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Lack of centralized candidate visibility
Workable solves this by providing a single, well-structured platform for tracking all candidates across multiple roles and stages. This improves pipeline transparency and enables data-driven hiring conversations with stakeholders.

Manual, fragmented hiring workflows
With integrated tools for job posting, scheduling, scoring, and feedback, Workable streamlines recruitment tasks. This reduces administrative burden and frees time for strategic tasks like sourcing and screening.

Inefficient collaboration between hiring managers and recruiters
Workable’s in-platform communication features ensure real-time collaboration, better alignment, and quicker decision-making between team members, executives, and hiring managers.

Time-consuming job description updates and publishing
Its JD management and posting features allow us to quickly revise and publish roles to multiple platforms, improving time-to-post and reach.

Missed referral opportunities
The employee referral functionality allows our team to seamlessly submit and track referrals, adding a strong internal sourcing channel.

 ### 48. So close to perfection!

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Veronica F. | Sr Talent Acquisition Coordinator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Workable?**

Its very user friendly. Easy to navigate and when we onboard a new team member, very easy to train.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

One thing that stands out to me and on top of my mind, I really wish we could have customizable subject lines to each template. I love that we can create many templates to our profile, but if there was a function to also have a customizable subject line to each template, that would be amazing!
Ex:
1st template for Recruiter Screen - Subject Line " Museum of Ice Cream | Interview Request"
2nd template for Peer Screen - Subject Line " Next Steps for Museum of Ice Cream!"
ex ex
I have to keep a list with subject lines to each template , that I cop and paste . IF we could get subject lines to be custom to our templates, would be amazing!!

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

None at the moment I can mention

 ### 49. Why I Like Workable!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stamatis A. | HR Generalist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Workable?**

Workable makes the recruitment process simple, fast, and collaborative. I particularly appreciate how intuitive the platform is — from posting jobs and reviewing candidates to communicating with hiring managers, everything is streamlined in one place. The automation features save valuable time, and the reporting tools help us track progress and improve our hiring strategy. It’s a reliable and user-friendly solution that genuinely supports our day-to-day recruitment work.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

While Workable is overall a strong platform, there are a few areas that could be improved. For example, the reporting and analytics section could offer more customisation and flexibility to suit different business needs. Additionally, sometimes notifications can be a bit overwhelming or repetitive, especially when collaborating across multiple roles. Nonetheless, these are small issues in an otherwise very helpful tool.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workable helps centralise and streamline the entire recruitment process, from job posting to candidate communication and evaluation. It reduces manual work, improves team collaboration, and ensures a smoother experience for both recruiters and candidates. This saves time, keeps everything organised, and helps us hire faster and more efficiently.

 ### 50. Workable Evaluation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daiane L. | Senior Talent Acquisition Coordinator, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2025

**What do you like best about Workable?**

Ease of use of the tool
Integration with LinkedIn
More robust system for active sourcing
Employee Referral Program

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

It is not very intuitive for teams that only speak Portuguese.
Customer support is more aligned with international time zones.
The platform does not allow the creation of confidential job openings or postings restricted to a specific region, institution, or target audience. For instance, it is not possible to generate an exclusive link for a specific school or partner to submit candidates without the job being publicly visible on the careers site.
Lack of advanced filtering within job openings: The platform could benefit from more specific filters within each job posting. Currently, it is not possible to search by keyword or specific term exclusively within the candidate pool of a single job, which makes screening more time-consuming in high-volume processes.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Active and Proactive Talent Sourcing
(Provides tools for active candidate search, with AI-based suggestions and integration with external resume databases.)

Integration with LinkedIn and Other Global Platforms
(Strong integration with LinkedIn Recruiter and other networks, increasing job posting reach and screening efficiency.)

Standardization of Processes Across Distributed Teams
(Allows configuration of standardized pipelines, evaluation stages, and criteria in multiple languages, facilitating global recruitment management.)

Collaboration Between Recruiters and Hiring Managers
(Enables leaders to track candidates, leave feedback, vote, and make decisions directly within the platform.)

Efficiency in Screening and Interview Scheduling
(Automates candidate screening with AI, allows interview scheduling with calendar integration, and streamlines stage tracking.)
