We really appreciate the innovation Hubert has brought into our processes—it’s smart, straightforward, and works brilliantly for both candidates and recruiters. What truly sets them apart, though, is how closely they align with our own values. They’re not simply a supplier; they feel like a trusted partner we can rely on.

**What do you dislike about Hubert?**

I dont have anything we dislike about Hubert, It would be great to have the ability to access further reports on the platform, other than what is available all ready.

**What problems is Hubert solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the biggest challenges we face in recruitment is the sheer volume of applications and the amount of time that goes into first-round screening. Between scheduling calls, asking the same initial questions, and trying to assess every candidate consistently, it can be a very time-intensive process.

Hubert has helped us streamline that stage by running AI-powered interviews automatically, giving every candidate a structured and consistent experience from the outset.

The biggest benefit for us has been getting that time back. Instead of spending hours on initial screening calls, we can focus on candidates who have already been pre-qualified and dedicate more time to the parts of recruitment that really benefit from human interaction—building relationships, understanding motivations, and helping both clients and candidates make the right decisions.

Overall, Hubert has made our hiring process faster, more efficient, and fairer, while allowing our team to focus on where we add the most value.

**What do you like best about Hubert?**

For volume hiring, this tool can be used instead of CV parsing, providing candidate rankings based on the STAR technique and deterministic AI. There’s no black box, the ranking feature gives a clear overview of all candidates, which saves time but also provide you with better insights regarding the candidates history than a CV does, and integrates smoothly with your ATS.

**What do you dislike about Hubert?**

Since candidates may have issues with being AI interviews, I really recommend to focus a lot on the candidate communication when using Hubert.

**What problems is Hubert solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For me, it’s both an efficiency issue and a quality issue. Hubert is likely to perform better than a human who has to go through, say, 300 CVs. That way, all candidates get the same chance, and the focus stays on past behavior rather than experience from specific roles. Saves you time and provides better data.

The ability to quickly identify the strongest candidates from a high volume of applications, enabling our recruiters to focus their time on meaningful interviews rather than manual screening. The structured, consistent assessment process allowed us to improve both efficiency and quality of hire.

**What do you dislike about Hubert?**

My biggest concern is ensuring that we don't optimise purely for efficiency at the expense of candidate potential. Previous experience is not a requirement for PGL but demonstrating values is most important. Any AI screening tool needs to be able to recognise this, so far, during our trial Hubert has given me confidence that it can do this for us.

**What problems is Hubert solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hubert is helping us manage growing application volumes by automating candidate screening. This has reduce our recruiter's screening time, enabling us to identify high-potential candidates more quickly and consistently.

**What do you like best about Hubert?**

Hubert supports recruitment by automating communication, which helps streamline processes and improve efficiency. It contributes to a smoother candidate experience and is particularly useful in high-volume recruitment, where it can save time. The tool is relatively easy to use, and navigation is generally straightforward.

We have experienced few technical issues with Hubert overall, and it has performed reliably from a technical standpoint. The integration with Teamtailor works well and supports the overall workflow.

Hubert’s candidate scoring is fairly consistent, and the pricing can be considered aligned with the value it provides. During and after implementation, we have received good support from Sara, which has helped with onboarding and ongoing use.

The feature that identifies whether candidates may have used AI in their responses has also stood out as an interesting addition.

**What do you dislike about Hubert?**

The scoring still needs refinement and is not always accurate. Customization has improved but remains somewhat difficult. Not all users adopt Hubert easily, and some misunderstand how to use it. Filtering job listings—especially in the Jobs tab—could also be more user-friendly. Overall, Hubert is not a complete solution and does not consistently speed up the recruitment process.

**What problems is Hubert solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hubert handles the initial screening of candidates, which helps speed up that stage of the recruitment process—especially in high-volume recruitment. It is available to candidates at any time, allowing them to respond when it suits them and giving them time to consider their answers.

All candidates are given the opportunity to respond to the same questions, and particularly in high-volume recruitment, Hubert saves time by automatically filtering out applicants who are not a suitable match.

**What do you like best about Hubert?**

Hubert really solved the huge workload of manual screening for us, and it finally helped us actually utilize our candidate database. Before, we spent way too many hours screening everyone manually, and we rarely got the full value out of our talent pool. Now, because candidates go through Hubert first, the data becomes structured, making it incredibly easy to search for the right profiles later on. 

I also love that the screening is completely non-biased, and because it automates the follow-up, every single applicant gets a response. It gives them a great experience while saving the team an immense amount of time. 

On top of that, Hubert made it possible for us to automatically route candidates to the right specialist teams. This means specialists are always talking to specialists, which just gives a much better experience for both the candidates and our consultants.

**What do you dislike about Hubert?**

One thing that could be smoother is setting up new job profiles or tweaking the questionnaires, as it isn't super intuitive yet. If a recruiter wants to launch a new track, they can't really do it on their own. It usually requires help from Hubert or our business support team.

**What problems is Hubert solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hubert has significantly improved the candidate experience in the initial phase of our recruitment funnel. It structures and tags candidate data automatically, making it much easier for our internal consultants to search for and find the right profiles later on. Ultimately, this allows us to make faster and better matches.

The main upside is that every job seeker gets the chance to interview, and you can tailor the interview specifically to each role. This way, you gather highly relevant information about each candidate early in the process.

Maybe it’s not a downside for Hubert, but I do wish all candidates would complete the Hubert interview. Although most candidates complete the interview, not all do.

Hubert helps us create a very smooth recruitment process where all candidates get the chance for an interview. At the same time, we get a lot of relevant information about all candidates. Hubert helps us create a fairer recruitment process where candidates get the same conditions.

**What do you like best about Hubert?**

Hubert replaces the traditional phone screen with a great candidate experience that feels contempory and innovative. For Recruiters, Hubert draws out loads of good candidate insights through competency based interviews, providing a better picture of who's applying. Recruiters and Coordinators get time back because candidates can complete their Hubert interview when it suits them, most chose outside work hours, so less faffing about scheduling. Based on their feedback, candidates actually enjoy the experience, which is a real win! Hubert as a standalone solution is just fine. The UI is clean and intuitive. But with a CRM integration, the recruitment workflow gets much better. Finally, I'd call out the onboarding and implementation support as excellent. If you're in the volume hiring space and want some technology that actually makes an impact, Hubert AI is a great place to start.

**What do you dislike about Hubert?**

No negatives so far. Where we've identified room for improvement, Hubert has listened and actually implemented some of our suggestions like voice support (I sure we weren't the only ones asking for them!).

**What problems is Hubert solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest problem Hubert solves is better candidate screening at scale. Before, a screening call needed scheduling, often with some back and forth, and would be tied to normal working hours. Now, candidates can complete their Hubert interview at a time that suits them, and the Recriuiter get's back circa 20-30 mins per candidate.

**What do you like best about Hubert?**

I enjoyed my experience with Hubert as he didn't come across as judgmental or intimidating during the interview. It made the process really fun and enjoyable. I've never used a tool like this before for being interviewed, and I would highly recommend it because it was a really useful tool.

**What do you dislike about Hubert?**

It would be good if you could edit your answers. I was made aware that I wouldn't be able to do that. But when I read them back, I think because I did it on my mobile phone, there was a couple of spelling mistakes, and, obviously, with it being an interview, you wanna create a really good impression. So spelling mistakes are not good, for that.

**What problems is Hubert solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Hubert didn't solve any problems for me, but he was a very good interviewer.

It feels fair for candidates, and it also makes it easy for our managers to get a clear summary of each candidate.

**What do you dislike about Hubert?**

We’ve been using Hubert for almost a year now. There isn’t much I can say right now. Getting started took some time because we needed to sort out the IT perspective first, but once that was in place, it was easy to get going.

**What problems is Hubert solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We receive more than 100,000 candidate applications each year. Hubert helps us with the screening process, so we don’t need to manually review every CV or conduct a telephone interview for each applicant.

There haven’t been any major drawbacks so far. While we’re not currently integrated, Hubert has provided an excellent workaround during the trial period, ensuring we’ve still been able to use it effectively.

I like using Hubert for customer service work because it helps me assist customers with what they are looking for. It's nice that I can handle customer inquiries and also look around the shop for what they want, filling stock and keeping the shop floor tidy. Hubert seems to be a good fit for my career as it's relevant and aligns well with my work requirements.

Makes the recruitment of high-volume positions alot faster and more effektive.

One challenge in the beginning was to set-up the chatbot questions to fit the specific roles that we had, but once that step is done it works really well.

**What problems is Hubert solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It makes us having to do less manual work at the early stages of the recruitment process. Without Hubert, we would've needed to have at least one more full time employment for a person conducting telephone interviews.

Regarding your comment that Hubert is "not adaptive like an AI LLM," you've actually highlighted a design choice we're very intentional about. Hubert's assessment layer is built on deterministic, proprietary models rather than a generative LLM and that's deliberate. It means every candidate in a cohort is scored under identical conditions, the same answer always receives the same score, and recruiters can see exactly how each result was generated. While a generic LLM can produce plausible-sounding explanations after a score is assigned, our explanations are directly grounded in the underlying assessment logic and legally defensible.
