If you're running a structured HR operation with consistent hiring pipelines, it can absolutely deliver value. The reporting and workflow features are also helpful if you have dedicated HR staff. **What do you dislike about Workable?** However, for a small caregiving agency, the reality is very different. Hiring is constant, urgent, and often high-volume—but not complex. We don’t need layered workflows or advanced automation as much as we need speed, affordability, and ease of use for day-to-day recruiting. In that context, Workable starts to feel heavy and overpriced for what it delivers. **What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?** None ### 2. Easy apply on LinkedIn set up is another good setup with workable **What do you dislike about Workable?** You need to provide resume screening scores against the JD . You just can’t be a repository **What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?** We used Workable for 6 yrs as an ATS , recently moved to a different ATS due to limited features, not compatable API's and No resume parsing **Official Response from Marientina Chardalia:** > Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I also appreciate the customized workflows, and how personalized you can make them. **What do you dislike about Workable?** Honestly, Workable is a job tracking system, not an applicant tracking system. The fact that candidates have a different profile for every single job creates a lot of problems. It is also not an intuitive platform, so I would not consider it to be particularly user-friendly. **What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are using it as an applicant tracking system for our roles. It is solving the problem of needing candidates for jobs and sharing information between recruiters and the hiring team. ### 4. So many clicks to where you need to get / retrieve info. Job vs Hiring plan - often a misalignment and not as easy to nav between the two. When reviewing a candidate when they've applied to multiple roles, it is challenging navigating between the two to see the relevant details. Can we have a simple accurate date stamp vs "2months ago"? When I quickly want to see when X happened, I am looking for a specific date, not an approximate time frame. **What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is out ATS - nothing more nothing less. ### 5. Enough but better alternatives are available, way better **Rating:** 2.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Yasin Kaan Y. | Recruiter, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** January 17, 2021 **What do you like best about Workable?** Simple interface allows recruiters to use it very easily. Besides, recognition of uploaded CVs feature works so great. Workable also enables you to create your own scorecards to evaluate every candidate. **What do you dislike about Workable?** Data protection feature works with only EU Countries. Most of the countries not in Europe also have their own data protection laws but Workable simply doesn't give support on this issue. They keep saying that this feature can't be optimized for other countries. I can easily say that Workable can't work properly with laws in your country even though a responsible person from Workable says it can be implemented in the demo meetings before you buy it. Second of all, reporting is not useful enough and you can't even customize variables. Mentioning customization, Workable currently doesn't allow you to create customized fields for candidates, you have to talk to your responsible person from Workable to add fields. Same blocking happens in every customization issue such as workflows. Unfortunately, all Workable does is to keep sending you documentation pages which you've already read them. **Recommendations to others considering Workable:** Research must be done before buying an ATS thoroughly **What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?** Not much of it for now.
