"Testlify Streamlined and Standardized Our Candidate Screening Across Teams"
What do you like best about Testlify?

Before we introduced Testlify, one of the challenges we had was keeping candidate evaluations consistent across different departments, especially when hiring both academic and administrative roles.

Now, once candidates apply, we send out assessments as part of the initial screening stage. After they complete them, our team reviews the results and uses that to decide who should move forward to interviews. That process has made it easier to align hiring decisions across teams instead of relying only on resumes or individual judgment.

The platform itself is simple to use, and it doesn’t take much effort for hiring managers to check results and give feedback, which helps keep things moving without delays. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Testlify?

One area that could be improved is flexibility when working with assessments. In some cases, it would be helpful to adjust existing tests more easily instead of creating new ones.

It’s not a major issue, but it can slow things down slightly when working across multiple roles. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Testlify Support of Testlify

Thank you for your thoughtful feedback. We're delighted to hear that Testlify has helped standardize candidate screening across your teams and made the hiring process more efficient and consistent.

We also appreciate your input regarding the flexibility of editing existing tests. Your suggestion has been noted and shared with our product team.

"Helps structure candidate evaluations and makes interviews more focused"
What do you like best about Testlify?

One thing that stood out after using Testlify for a while is how it helps bring more structure into the evaluation process, especially when multiple roles are involved.

In our hiring process, we typically send assessments before interviews, and the results give us a clearer idea of what to focus on during follow-up conversations. It’s been helpful in guiding discussions rather than relying only on resumes or initial impressions.

The reports are detailed enough to highlight strengths and gaps, which makes it easier to align with the rest of the hiring team when deciding who should move forward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Testlify?

One area that could be improved is flexibility within reports. While the insights are useful, having more control over how results are presented or customized would make them even more practical for different use cases.

It’s not a major issue, but something that could add more value over time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Testlify Support of Testlify

Thank you for your thoughtful review. We're glad to hear that Testlify has brought more structure to your evaluation process and helped make your interviews more focused and efficient.

We also appreciate your feedback regarding report customization. Your input has been shared with our product team for future consideration.

"Reliable, Straightforward Assessments for Standardized Hiring"
What do you like best about Testlify?

In our case, as part of a larger talent acquisition team, we needed something that could handle assessments across different roles without making the process overly complicated, and Testlify has been fairly reliable for that.

We use it to send assessments early in the hiring process, especially for technical and mid-level roles, and it helps standardize how candidates are evaluated before interviews. The variety of tests is useful, and the platform is straightforward enough that recruiters and hiring managers can both navigate it without much friction.

The reporting is also helpful it gives a quick overview of candidate performance while still allowing us to review specific areas when needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Testlify?

One thing we’ve noticed is that some of the more advanced features, like deeper analytics or report customization, can take a bit of time to fully get used to.

Also, during periods of higher usage, there have been occasional delays or minor performance issues, although they haven’t significantly affected our workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Testlify Support of Testlify

Thank you Adrienn for sharing your feedback. We understand that deeper analytics and report customization may have a learning curve, and we appreciate your patience as we continue to improve our platform. We're also actively working to address any performance issues during peak usage to ensure a seamless experience for all users.

"Testlify Makes Early Candidate Skill Screening Fast and Easy"
What do you like best about Testlify?

In our recruiting workflow, one of the things that’s worked well with Testlify is how easy it is to send out structured assessments early in the process.

We usually assign tests right after candidates apply, and it gives us a clearer picture of their skills before we move to interviews. The variety of assessments helps depending on the role whether it’s more technical or general and the setup is quick enough that it doesn’t slow things down.

It’s also simple to navigate, so managing multiple candidates at once hasn’t been an issue for the team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Testlify?

One thing I’ve noticed is that some assessments can feel a bit broad for more specific roles, so it sometimes takes extra time to find the best fit or adjust the setup.

It’s not a major issue, but having more flexibility there would make it even better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Testlify Support of Testlify

Thank you for sharing your experience. We're glad to hear that Testlify has helped streamline your early candidate screening and made the hiring process more consistent and efficient.

We also appreciate your constructive feedback regarding assessment breadth for more specific roles. Your input has been shared with our product team for continued improvement.

"Screening"
What do you like best about Testlify?

UI/ UX:

Testlify has a modern, clean, and easy-to-use interface. It's easy to find your way around, so recruiters can make tests and look at candidate results without having to learn a lot. The dashboard is well-organized, which makes it easier to use overall.

Integrations:

It works with popular ATS platforms and tools, which makes the hiring process easier. But making it easier to connect to more HR systems could make it even more flexible.

How well it works:

The platform works well, with quick loading times and few problems. Even when working with multiple candidates at once, test execution and result processing go smoothly.

Price / Return on Investment:

Testlify is a good deal, especially for small and medium-sized businesses. Automating the screening of candidates saves a lot of time and effort, which makes it a good investment.

Help / Getting Started:

It's easy to get started with the service because the documentation is clear and the customer service is quick to respond. The support team usually answers questions quickly, which makes the first setup process easy.

AI and Intelligence:

Testlify uses AI to improve candidate evaluation by using automated scoring and skill-based tests. It works well, but more advanced AI insights, like deeper behavioral analysis, could make it even better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Testlify?

There are some problems with Testlify, even though it works well for standardized hiring. The platform depends a lot on pre-made tests, which may not be as useful for evaluating skills that are specific to a job or that are useful in real life. Some tests don't go into enough detail (for example, they don't include enough coding or real-world task simulation), which makes it harder to judge advanced candidates.

Also, the credit-based pricing model could get expensive as more people are hired, especially for teams that are growing. There aren't many options for customization, and making tests that are very specific can be hard.

From the user's point of view, there have been times when they were worried about the quality of the questions or the fact that some tests were not consistent. This can make the experience for candidates less enjoyable.

There are also some small operational problems, like not being able to combine multiple tests easily and sometimes having to wait longer for support to respond.

Finally, like many other standardized testing platforms, it may not fully measure soft skills, creativity, or how well someone does their job in the real world, especially for senior or complex roles. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Testlify Support of Testlify

Thank you for your detailed and balanced review. We're glad to hear that Testlify's UI/UX, integrations, performance, and AI capabilities have added value to your screening process — especially in replacing resume-based filtering with skill-based assessments.

We also truly appreciate your constructive feedback regarding:

The need for more customizable and role-specific tests

Concerns around credit-based pricing for high-volume hiring

Inconsistent question quality and test simulation depth

Limitations in measuring soft skills and real-world job performance

Your input has been shared with our product and pricing teams for ongoing improvement. Thank you again for helping us grow.

"Testlify Streamlined Our Candidate Screening with Easy Assessments and Clear Reporting"
What do you like best about Testlify?

As a COO in a small software development team, we needed a more consistent way to screen candidates without slowing down the hiring process, and Testlify has helped with that.

We use it early in the hiring flow to send assessments after candidates apply, which allows us to evaluate their skills before scheduling interviews. The platform is easy to navigate, and setting up assessments doesn’t take much time, which is important for a smaller team without a dedicated recruiting function.

The variety of available tests has also been helpful for assessing different roles, and the reporting gives a clear overview of candidate performance, making it easier to decide who should move forward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Testlify?

One limitation we’ve noticed is around customization. For more specific roles, it would be useful to have greater flexibility in modifying assessments instead of creating new ones from scratch.

It would also help to see more niche test options added over time, especially for specialized skill sets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Testlify Support of Testlify

Thank you for sharing your detailed experience. We're glad to hear that Testlify has helped streamline your candidate screening process and made hiring more structured and efficient for your team.

We also appreciate your constructive feedback regarding customization options and the availability of more niche tests. Your input has been shared with our product team for continued improvement.

"Testlify’s Exceptional, Customer-First Support for Custom Dynamic & Scalable Assessments"
What do you like best about Testlify?

What stands out the most about Testlify is their exceptional support team. They are highly responsive, proactive, and genuinely invested in solving customer problems rather than giving generic replies. During a critical hiring phase on our end, their team went above and beyond to troubleshoot complex issues related to our React + Vite setup, including preview rendering and HMR support.

They didn’t just provide temporary fixes, they involved their technical team, implemented platform-level improvements, and even created proper documentation tailored to our own specific use case. Their willingness to listen to feedback, act on it quickly, and maintain clear communication throughout made a huge difference for us.

Overall, the combination of strong technical capability and customer-first support makes Testlify a very reliable platform for conducting assessments at scale. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Testlify?

There’s nothing to dislike. Any minor issues we encountered were addressed promptly by their support team, which makes the overall experience very positive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Testlify Support of Testlify

Thank you for such a detailed and generous review. We're truly honored to hear that our support team made a meaningful difference during your critical hiring phase.

It's especially rewarding to know that our collaborative approach, going beyond generic fixes to implement platform improvements and tailored documentation, helped resolve your React + Vite challenges. Feedback like yours reinforces our commitment to being a true partner in your hiring success.

We're also delighted that Testlify is helping you streamline and scale your technical hiring, from customized coding assessments to consistent candidate evaluation.

Thank you for trusting us with your hiring process. We look forward to continuing to support your team.

"Testlify Streamlined Our Screening and Early Skills Assessments"
What do you like best about Testlify?

In our case as a recruiting team in mental health care, we were trying to make our screening process more consistent across different roles, and Testlify has helped a lot with that.

We now use it to send assessments early in the hiring process, which allows us to evaluate candidates on actual skills before moving to interviews. It’s made things more structured and easier for both recruiters and hiring managers to align on decisions.

It also integrates well with Lever, which we’re already using as our ATS, so moving candidates into assessments doesn’t require extra manual steps. Overall, it’s been fairly easy to manage and navigate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Testlify?

One area that could be improved is the reporting side. The summaries are helpful, but for larger hiring needs, having more detailed insights or deeper analytics would make it easier to compare candidates at a more granular level. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Testlify Support of Testlify

We're thrilled to hear that Testlify has helped streamline your screening process and make it more consistent across different roles. Integrating well with Lever and providing a structured approach for evaluating candidates are some of the key benefits we aim to offer.

"Testlify Streamlines Hiring with Easy Assessments and Clear Results"
What do you like best about Testlify?

As Head of People Operations in a growing software team, we needed a more structured way to handle hiring across different roles, and Testlify has been useful in that regard.

We use it regularly to send out assessments as part of the early screening process, and it helps standardize how candidates are evaluated before interviews. The platform is fairly easy to use, and the variety of available tests makes it easier to match assessments to different roles across the organization.

Another thing that’s been helpful is how results are presented it gives a clear overview while still allowing us to dig into specific areas when needed, which supports better decision-making during shortlisting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Testlify?

One limitation we’ve come across is around customization. For certain roles, it would be useful to make more flexible edits to existing assessments instead of having to recreate them from scratch.

Also, while support is generally responsive, there have been a few instances where follow-ups took longer than expected. It’s not a major issue, but improving consistency there would make the experience smoother. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Testlify Support of Testlify

Thank you for your detailed and thoughtful feedback. We're delighted to hear that Testlify has helped standardize your hiring process, improved decision-making, and made screening more organized and scalable for your growing software team.

We also appreciate your constructive input regarding assessment customization and support follow-up consistency. Your comments have been shared with our product and support teams for continued improvement.

"Straightforward Setup and Fast, Clear Candidate Screening with Testlify"
What do you like best about Testlify?

One thing that stood out pretty quickly with Testlify is how straightforward it is to get assessments up and running. As a COO in a small e-learning team, we don’t have a dedicated hiring department, so having something that doesn’t require a lot of setup has been important for us.

We usually send assessments right after candidates apply, and it helps us get a clearer sense of their skills before moving into interviews. The results are easy to review, and the structure makes it simpler to compare candidates without overcomplicating things. It’s saved us a fair amount of time, especially during early stage screening. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Testlify?

I wouldn’t say there are major issues, but there are times when the instructions or test flow could be a bit clearer, especially for candidates who aren’t used to online assessments.

It’s not something that happens often, but improving that part could make the experience smoother overall. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Testlify Support of Testlify

Thank you for your thoughtful and detailed feedback. We're glad to hear that Testlify has helped your small e-learning team streamline early-stage screening and make the hiring process more structured and efficient.

We also appreciate your input regarding test instructions and flow clarity for candidates. Your comments have been shared with our team for continued improvement.
