**What do you like best about Ease?**

I find Ease to be an amazing tool that is fairly easy to use. It's a huge time saver and helps provide accurate and compliant data for employers by streamlining what used to be manual processes. I appreciate the ease of adding new clients, building benefits and other products, and setting up automations. Ease also offers beneficial reports, integrations, and the setup is very easy. I can onboard a new employer group, build products, test the system, and have it ready for benefits enrollment in a day, while other systems could take weeks. The integrations with insurance carriers, TPAs, and payroll providers are particularly useful.

**What do you dislike about Ease?**

I really don't have any negatives about using Ease - except that it will eventually sunset since it was purchased by Employee Navigator which is more robust and not as easy to use as Ease.

**Recommendations to others considering Ease:**

I recommend using Ease.  It is very easy to use & the reports available or very fast to generate.  Building a new prospect case to going live is very simple.  You can it to quote a new group to then turn around and implement it.

**What problems is Ease solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ease saves me a lot of time, provides accurate and compliant data for employers, and streamlines manual processes. I can onboard new groups and prepare for Benefits Enrollment in a day instead of weeks with other systems.

**What do you like best about Ease?**

Ease for HR really helps me keep a clean record for our staff. I appreciate that employees can choose what benefits they want during their open enrollment, which makes the platform valuable because they can directly decide in their cases if they are eligible for medical, dental, vision, or other benefits. The initial setup was good; I just had to upload the staff information manually.

**What do you dislike about Ease?**

I find their menu too simple. Maybe make it more dynamic and accessible.

**What problems is Ease solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It helps to keep a clean record for our staff. Employees can choose benefits like medical, dental, and vision during open enrollment, which makes the process valuable and convenient.

**What do you like best about Ease?**

Ease is user friendly to use while setting up clients in the system. The open enrollment set up is easy to set up and roll out to our clients. Our clients employees are able to complete their benefits records quickly and with no issues. We use Ease daily for our clients benefits needs.

**What do you dislike about Ease?**

The only downside is that it is not as seamlessly integrated with payroll and other HR features. It is great with housing benefits for our clients but we haven't used many other features that is offerred.

**What problems is Ease solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ease is great for our small clients to house their benefits for employees. We have 75+ clients in Ease and set up their open enrollment each year without any issues. Our small clients like that their employees can access the system from computer or phone. When  we process open enrollment requests, we are able to pull different reports on changes, premiums, and full census details.

**What do you like best about Ease?**

We use Ease synced with our employee records from Bamboo so that new employees import automatically with all the necessary information already filled in. It was easy to integrate with a few clicks and makes it really easy to ensure all employees are loaded into the system and to send out invites for enrollment. It also transmits enrollment documents directly to the providers without needing to be initiated or sent manually by our broker.
The first time I used it for open enrollment I was completely unfamiliar with the system but customer support walked me through the basics and it was easy.
There are a lot of reports available to pull census information, deductions for payroll, and 1094C reporting.

**What do you dislike about Ease?**

I wish the system would alert me automatically when new employees have completed an enrollment, so that I can ensure deductions are entered in our outside payroll.

**What problems is Ease solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Documents for benefits enrollment are preloaded in the system along with deduction information and plan comparisons - makes benefits enrollment simple.

**What do you like best about Ease?**

I really like how easy the program is to navigate. The UI is very streamlined and I think the employee view is very clear and clean too. The support teams are very helpful and always available to assist. I also like how open to input they are; I've seen several suggestions and requests be built into the programming.

**What do you dislike about Ease?**

Some system changes go through growing pains and I think are pushed out too soon at times. I feel like I miss a lot of programming updates that would be useful to know, but get breezed over. Pay schedules really could use a revamp. If this could be integrated into Ease, instead of needing to upload an excel document, I think this would be a huge improvement.

**What problems is Ease solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ease has revamped the way payroll connections work, which is going to be incredibly helpful. They have grown their 834 team, which means that the support is shared by more than one person. Work is being done to enable ABG flex connections to function correctly.

**What do you like best about Ease?**

Very intuitive and user-friendly. Reporting options are great and I feel like it works well on the backend, making it truly a one-stop shop for benefits management for my team.

**What do you dislike about Ease?**

One major downside is that the platform is built on the broker side which means if you decide to change in the future that information will have to be completely rebuilt (the employer doesn't "own" the account). Given that this doesn't happen too often it's not a huge issue.

**What problems is Ease solving and how is that benefiting you?**

it's a great tool for my employees to be able to compare benefit options and build their wellness package with pay transparency. I like that I can update an employee status very easily on there and the broker team is able to take care of everything from there.

Adding dependents and beneficiaries is easy. The website is clean, crisp, and easy to read.

**What do you dislike about Ease?**

Employees cannot always tell when they are finished enrolling in benefits. The final submit button should be much more obvious to find. It is currently on the top right of the screen when most employees have scrolled down to the bottom of the screen to look for it.

Ease is fully integrated with our Payroll software so it is always up to date with little input from HR.

When you do make a change there is no save buttom but it saves itself. It is hard for me to remember that because I am used to save button.

Their platform can set up EDI feds for census/enrollment/company info which is very convenient for stopping in one location for benefits management, mostly ancillary carriers.

**What do you dislike about Ease?**

However, there seems to be a disconnect in getting clients to use Ease. If the clients go to the company directly to make changes, the information in Ease could affect enrollment of terminated employees still being enrolled or reenrolled in coverage.

Ease, in theory, solves our problems with paper enrollment forms, but it's not as great as it sounds. 

They have also said they will connect with BCBS or UHC several times but have yet to do that, and they are the most prominent companies offering primary medical coverage.

**What do you like best about Ease?**

Ease has been so helpful for our company. Not only are all my important HR documents all in one place, but they're online. If I am out of the office or already gone for the day, I can easily login online and get the information I need. It is also so nice for onboarding.

**What do you dislike about Ease?**

I do wish I was able to add more Custom paperwork for them to fill out during onboarding. Careflite applications have to be hand done instead of auto-generated like all the others.

Everything is digital, it's at the fingertips of my employees as well as me. I do not have to pull open a file cabinet, search for a paper and then make a copy.

Enrollment is paperless, EE's have SBC available when needed, EE' s can make profile or dept changes, anytime.

Only two users per membership, can we make it 3?

**Recommendations to others considering Ease:**

Please consider the amount of money you will save on paper, on re-printing in case an employee lost it, the handwritten details not being legible and the Carrier contacting you to obtain the details, worse than that? The carrier may fill in with the information they "understand", but you won't go through this with EASE. Employees will have online enrollment and there are videos that you can show the employees that will help with their sign-up/log-in, there is nothing to lose.

Making "Guaranteed Issue" a tab, and adding the "Allow increase"

**What do you like best about Ease?**

The Rate library and chat feature are great for managing small-group health insurance.  Plus, the integrations with ancillary insurance carriers continue to expand, and payroll integrations have sped up significantly.

**What do you dislike about Ease?**

Health insurance carriers continue to refuse to get into direct-to-carrier integrations which still slows the full client integration of group health plan management. This is less an Ease problem than a widespread industry problem for almost all benefits administration systems.

**What problems is Ease solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No more paper and speed of integrations for payroll.  Our brokerage administrator seats are inadequate for working with our Third Party Administrators. Ease has worked around third-party access for each client company build, just ask how to accomplish this when you purchase a subscription to Ease.

Ease helps me organize each of my groups by the employee. Makes organization and ease of finding information quick  so much easier

**What do you dislike about Ease?**

I dislike that i'm unable to create a rate worksheet for the employees that would rather print out a copy of their benefits options. I have several groups that need paper packets as well as online enrollments so having the option to compile everything into a PDF or printable version would be amazing. would also love to see more COBRA info available should an employer wish to send notices on their own. At least a calculator to provide them when their COBRA period would be up.

Employee file organization, tracking, ACA compliance is amazing.

Using the Ease system allows me to manage my clients timely and efficient. It is a one-stop shop for keeping plan information and documents accessible for owners, managers, and employees. The best part is the support provided by Ease's extraordinarily knowledgeable and conscientious staff. We all look like Rock Stars with Ease!

**What do you dislike about Ease?**

I only have hiccups with videos in the Instructions for benefits. Sometimes they work, and sometimes they don't. Not sure what I am doing wrong. I usually use You Tube.

**What problems is Ease solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Connections with carriers genuinely brings peace of mind knowing that I am done once enrollments are entered in Ease. There are no more double or triple entries that need to be made.

Customer care is great.  The ability to link directly with carriers is helpful.

**What do you dislike about Ease?**

There is nothing I actually dislike.  However, if I had to choose one thing that sticks out in my mind that is a bit of a nuisance is that putting a date in requires the slash between the month/day/year.  It should default in that format.  Also, when entering a phone number the system defaults to (xxx) xxx-xxxx.  However, when you add the details of the employer, it does not default to that format.  It should.

**What problems is Ease solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Just keeping track of employers and employees - adds, terms, etc.  Also, helpful for reporting purposes.  It saves me a little time as some of the carriers are directly linked.  It would be helpfull if the medical carriers were linked.  The best part for me is that I can have the forms for medical underwriting completed for several carriers at once.  Also, quoting for virtually every fully-insured carrier in the country is nice.

I love that everything I need for a group enrollment is easily found on the EASE platform. Also, new group administrators are surprised at how easy the process is to complete and get reports.

I wish the Summary of Benefits for the health plans were as easily downloadable from the carriers as the rates and application forms. Sometimes a company's logo is too big and needs to be resized with the help of tech support.

EASE helps my groups show their employee's current rates and plan details for their benefits. Employees can easily enroll or waive coverage from their cell phones or computer without the back and forth of emails.

**What do you like best about Ease?**

Ease is convenient as you can access it from your phone or laptop. The software clearly shows your benefits as well as the cost per pay period. I appreciate that my company switched to Ease!

**What do you dislike about Ease?**

Ease is truly fantastic! There are very few things that have ever not been perfect about Ease. I do dislike that it shows the total cost of the benefits with your entire family before you select that you've waived them. When I log on the first thing I want to see is how much it would cost me as an individual.

We were really struggling with how much paperwork was involved with health care. Now we don't have to deal or worry about that! We also have far less questions to answers from employees as Ease really makes it easy.

The most helpful feature of Ease is being easy to navigate; it is so user-friendly. When we talk to our clients about Ease, they love that all of the information is in one place to review!

The quoting tool is fairly easy, but the presentation portion could stand to be easier to read and easier to have accurate information. I don't like having to remove employees out of the system to get accurate quotes

**What do you like best about Ease?**

Easy to get a hold of someone over the phone when needed, but rarely do I need to. The online tools are easy to use for my clients and me. I would recommend this to any broker.

**What do you dislike about Ease?**

They do not integrate with all payroll companies, but that is more a mark on payroll companies than it is with Ease. The customer support at Ease is always there to lend a hand.

Ease makes onboarding online much more convenient for new hires. As an agent, I only need their e-mail and hire date then the system does the rest. This has simplified the account management process.

**What do you like best about Ease?**

Ease is extremely user-friendly and a vital part of our HR toolkit. From Open Enrollment of benefits to onboarding new employees, Ease provides us with everything we need to check off those boxes. With a clear and straightforward interface, staff members are able to easily complete their enrollment requirements without the involvement of management. Having used Ease with two companies, 80+ employees and over many years, I can't imagine doing business without Ease. Highly recommend!

**What do you dislike about Ease?**

The strength of Ease's useability is dependent on a great agency staff behind the scenes. That said, if we ever need something added to our document library or help with an employee's issues, Ease is quickly able to add what we need without delay or interruption.

**What problems is Ease solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ease has saved us countless man-hours and negated in-person meetings to implement our Open Enrollment period. This frees up management staff to a great degree. Additionally, the adding of new staff is controlled by management, with a few clicks, instead of depending on another company's availability and schedule. This represents a huge time savings for us.

The user interface is just simply stunning. It makes it so desirable and easy to use. This is a platform where anyone can go in and find anything that they're looking for.

I wish that there was some integration with blue shield. My provider LBW has put the link to all the documents, but there is no way to make changes to blue shield through ease.

Ease helps us solve an easy way to get all of our employees registered with their health benefits. It is very easy to see who is registered, who has not signed up yet.

**What do you like best about Ease?**

Easy to use. I like the tabs on each employee to easily find what information I'm looking for. Also, I like the ease of adding a new employee and that they're able to complete the rest of their information.

**What do you dislike about Ease?**

Reporting is a bit confusing. I wish there were excel options and the reports were not so long and easier to read. Employee names disappear when you scroll over to the right. I think the reporting section could be made easier to use and find the reports I need as well as have more download options.

It saves me time by being able to use the same software even when we change insurance companies or providers. The system itself is easy to use and saves me time.

**What do you like best about Ease?**

Ease is so user-friendly. Not only does it help me keep track of clients and their benefits, but it makes their jobs easier. Most small businesses don't have a dedicated HR person, and Ease is a huge help.

**What do you dislike about Ease?**

Ease doesn't have connections to most of the carriers we work with. Also, the TASC HRA connection is set up in a way that it requires employees to be enrolled in a medical plan in order for data to populate in the transfer file. Not all HRAs require the employee to be enrolled in a medical plan (e.g., EBHRA). We have a client that offers an HRA to employees who are not enrolled in the medical plan.  We couldn't connect the HRA plan to TASC because the file did not include the election amount and dependent data. Ease's engineers confirmed the connection only works if the members are enrolled in a medical plan along with the HRA.

I love that it has all of the benefit information in one place. It also makes it easier to find the employee's and dependent's info if we need to contact carriers for things like claims.

Very easy-to-navigate platform from the employer's perspective but also employees. Everything is clear and very easy to read in the portal and helpful when making decisions that will impact you financially

**What do you dislike about Ease?**

I cannot think of any; logging in is easy, and resetting passwords is easy. I cannot think of anything that may cause a bad review as this platform is by far one of the most user friendly.

Aside from the easy enrollment, it removed all the paper applications that made open enrolment and enrolling employees super difficult. It has allowed me to focus on either items.

**What do you like best about Ease?**

I love the integrations with the carriers! I can rest assured that all our new hires will be enrolled after eligibility, thanks to Ease!

**What do you dislike about Ease?**

I don't particularly appreciate that the BambooHR 360 integration is not yet implemented. The same errors are identified on the daily import report, and I get endless emails about it.

**What problems is Ease solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's solving benefits enrollments for our new hires! Since our agency's hiring volume has increased, the seamless integrations and data syncs have been an excellent way for us to scale our processes!

**What do you like best about Ease?**

The best thing about ease is how everything is in one place.  It is easy to go in and view elections and delinations without rifling through hundred and hundred of pages of paper copies.  It truly made the enrollment process so smooth and the daily maintenance of benefits management much easier for any overworked HR professional.

**What do you dislike about Ease?**

I wish ease worked with Kaiser more seamlessly.  Right now, we only offer Kaiser for our medical insurance and it is the only offering not fully captured within ease.  There is an additional step when anyone signs up for Kaiser.

**What problems is Ease solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The paperwork is a nightmare when it comes to benefits enrollment and delinations.  It frees up more time for me to focus on bigger issues and less buys work. My day has more time!

We enjoy the simplicity of the system and the ability to have a Ben Admin site built out for a client in a matter of hours. The support team
is great and the carrier integrations have been growing constantly.

We haven't ran into any issues that haven't been easily resolved.

This system has been great for clients that aren't using their payroll Ben Admin system already. It is helping groups have an
online portal and reporting tools, that may have been told by other vendors that they weren't a big enough company.

I have been using Ease for close to 7 years It's easy and intuitive to use. I have tried 1 or two other systems and don't find them nearly as easy to use. I have found Ease support very good and they are generally quick to respond

If they had a payroll system as part of it then it would be perfect- you can integrate with other but I think their own payroll system would be magnificent

The reporting features are extremely clear and easy to use, the UI is easy to understand. I feel that I can trust the data integrity in the system and that I can analyze correct data at any time.

Some functionality isn't as intuitive and required a bit of research to understand. I was able to find answers within the Ease help section after some digging though.

Automated benefits enrollment follow-ups are extremely helpful during Open Enrollment. The simple interface makes it easy for employees to self-service their benefits elections.

Ease has made benefit administration a breeze for HR. All the documents are in one location, the set-up is user friendly, I can easily accesss help if needed, I can create reports directly from the Ease portal, I can easily track the progress of enrollments. Ease has cut the preparation time for preparing for open enrollment by 80%. I would recommned Ease to a friend or colleague.

Ease is very helpful. I have no complaints.

Ease is solving our bigggest problem which is time. Before Ease, we use to have to mail out the documentation to outside staff. Now everything is in one central location. The platform is easy to use even if you dont consider yourself to be tech savvy.

It is easy to see the employees that have completed their enrollment and view their profiles. As an administrator, this makes it easy for me to quickly access employee information

**What do you dislike about Ease?**

I understand that security measures are necessary. As an administrator, we are viewing sensitive and confidential information. However, double verification with email code verification is sometimes time-consuming. The system also times out faster than I would like. As an administrator, I often flip back and forth between screens to obtain information. So when I return to the Ease website, I have been logged out and have to log back in. A bit cumbersome for how I work.

**What problems is Ease solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ease has been convenient, saves me a lot of time and TREES - with less paperwork! This means less physical storage in file cabinets and more time to complete other tasks.

Ease allows each employee to see the information that is most important to them.  The policies we selected for our group were available for employees to review and feel confident about what they were selecting. We are satisfied with the enrollment process.

**What do you dislike about Ease?**

We are still learning and have found it challenging to understand what is needed when an employee terminates their employment and we need to end their coverage.  It would be helpful to have instructions for the employer to follow.  For example, we understand that ease will communicate and complete all necessary forms with our policy provides/carriers.  However, we get multiple emails about needing more information when we terminated 1 employee.  So, instructions for the employer to know what to expect and what they need to do to initiate Ease to complete their duties.

Hopefully what to expect when employees terminate their employment.  What ease will complete and when so that we know the forms are being processed when needed.

**What do you like best about Ease?**

It is pretty intuitive. You don't need a lot of experience to use this system as an administator. I also like the new logo. I think it's more appealing than the last one.

**What do you dislike about Ease?**

I mostly do not like that this is an entire separate system for us and it doesn't integrate into our payroll system. I also have an issue where I can't scroll down properly when there is a pop-up screen, and I have had it where I click outside the pop-up screen and the pop-up goes away, and it isn't saved.

Ease is only for managing our insurance selections and policies with our employees and our insurance provider. It does help with having a nice-looking platform for our employees, but it is still a lot of work on my end to have it added to our payroll system.

I wish EMPLOYEES had the option to view their historical benefits summary vs. asking what happened in previous years. I also wish the reports can be more customized such as break down on only age or cities etc.

Integrations, highly recommned, however can be pricey if working with more than one business

Ease supports in verification for state or private loans/insurances. Ease is my top used portal for all HR compliance.

I enjoy the costs outlined on the side of each benefit, and the cost per pay period is called out and updated as you continue to add benefits. The layout is simplified compared to some platforms, and I would ratethe ease of access higher than most.

**What do you dislike about Ease?**

I think the reporting could be more transparent and allow you to customize reports based on general ledger integration. I would also say maybe integration with specific payroll platforms would be excellent for adding deductions to payroll during open enrollment.

**What problems is Ease solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Before Ease, I calculated all employee benefits amounts, which can cause errors with age-banded medical rates. Ease has been a time saver for employees who want to cross-reference costs for each medical plan. I have been able to spend more time in other areas of my job, including benefits packages.

Easy for employer and employees to navigate. Makes onboarding easier as well as benefits selection. I like that it displays all three of the health plans to compare. I also like that you can upload files or make notes that are either visible to the employee or you can hide from the employee so it can be a one stop employee file.

**What do you dislike about Ease?**

I have not figured out how to have employees digitally sign a document on the actual document. I have to upload a custom document where I essentially have to type out the contents of the document in order for employees to sign. I wish there was a feature to upload your own document and then have the employee be able to digitally sign on that document.

Onboarding is much easier and less time consuming

Benefits selections with employees is easier and less time consuming as well.

The process is so easy and clear. I don't have to keep stacks of paperwork at home because it is always available online. In my previous jobs with the competitors it was all done on paper and a lot of paperwork to track and not easy to update your contact information.

When you get to the end, the system lets you know you missed reviewing/signing a document at the beginning of the process. It can take you to the beginning. However, you must go through each screen again to finish the process.

Paperless says it all...I don't have to dig for paperwork; it is always available online. The process helps w/productivity and time constraints.

It is very user friendly and easily breaks down costs for employees. As an employer, it allows me to easily access employee information I use with our payroll systems.

**What do you dislike about Ease?**

Syncing the system up with our new payroll provider proved to be a bit difficult. There was a glitch in the system that Ease actually had to look into and intervene with. However, it took getting our payroll provider involved as well to get a response back from the Ease team so we could move forward.

**What problems is Ease solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having my group's information easily accessible has been a great benefit for me as I can easily transfer this info to our payroll provider. We now have integration with our payroll provider, but previous to this, I had to manually enter all deductions for each employee. The Ease platform made this a breeze.

Ease of online enrollment with support and integration with many carriers. Broker centric development and support always puts the needs of the broker and client first through constant improvements and updates. 

**What do you dislike about Ease?**

It is not full suite solution that include CRM or AMS capabilities but it still houses enough account data to get you started. 

**Recommendations to others considering Ease:**

Invest the time and resources into using Ease. It will be lot more cost effective than continuing to pay your existing staff overtime hours or hire new staff. You will be able to do a lot more with less. 

**What problems is Ease solving and how is that benefiting you?**

No more missing fields on paper forms. No more illegible handwriting. Our revenue has grown 20+% just because benefit enrollment is so much easier for the employee instead of having to complete multiple forms.

It's so nice that we don't have to call someone and ask them to remove or add a team member.  We don't have to wait on anyone to get back to us or follow up on whether it was done or not.  As cliche as it may sound, EASE is just easy.  So thankful for our representative recommending it to us!

Nothing.  Every time I click to login, I'm reminded of how user-friendly the site is.  The layout is easy to follow and everything is appropriately labeled and displayed.

They are making it easy for employers to add, terminate, and update team members' benefits without all the hassle.  It's a tremendous benefit to me and our company.

Having Ease has helped with alleviating paper by 99%. Also, employees can sign up for benefits via phone or computer. They have Ease handy at all times of the day, and I can send out reminders in mass or individually. Ease can also personalize your forms into the system, which is nice.

**What do you dislike about Ease?**

There is no downfall to using Ease. We wanted to go paperless, and Ease has let us do this. There are a few things that I would change. One is how the employee finishes enrolling, which would be to click finish enrolling once and not twice like it is set up.

Having Ease has helped with alleviating paper by 99%. We wanted to go paperless, and Ease has let us do this. We might move onto onboarding paperwork but there are some internal issues we have to fix first.

The upside to Ease is that the employee can do it themselves and it's user-friendly. I have many older employees who do anything and everything they can to stay away from computers. The fact that Ease walks you through it step-by-step, is beneficial.

Since I have been using Ease for about a year, I haven't found anything I dislike. If I had to choose something, it would be more streamlined as far as the employee view goes and not so many tabs to jump around to find things.

Ease is taking away the hassle of chasing employees down for enrollment paperwork. It is also eliminating the need to have a separate tracker for what employees completed what steps and where they are in the process.
