"Kombo Made Our Integration Choice Easy—Fast, Helpful Support from Day One"
What do you like best about Kombo?

We looked at a bunch of integration platforms before making a decision, and honestly, Kombo wasn't even a question after a while. They were quick to respond, helpful from day one, and had everything we were looking for without us having to jump through hoops.

Implementation was fast, and their documentation is very clear. That made it possible for me to integrate the solution into our application within a few days.

Using the API documentation is straightforward and easy.

What do you like best about Kombo?

We use Kombo for multiple customers to syncronize HRIS data frequently on the daily basis. We had a very responsive customer support so far. The APIs are well docuemnted and easy to use. The integration and implementation was easy. The app offers great observability tooling with the logs and data explorer. What do you like best about Kombo?

I appreciate the extremely wide portfolio of HRIS integrations from Kombo. The range of offerings is impressive. Additionally, I like the personal support from Kombo, especially the custom development for our specific use case, which saved us development capacity. The support was always available when needed. The features that provide insights into the data are also very valuable, including the easy search and visualization of data, such as viewing all data points for a specific employee. What do you dislike about Kombo?

- Overview of the mapping logic is not clear, it is unclear which data fields from the HRIS are mapped to which combo data fields. - The UI for filtering & custom field mapping could be better, it is not 'seamless', especially because our customers come from our platform. - The initial setup was difficult in places, particularly the transfer to our use case was challenging. What do you like best about Kombo?

I like that Kombo has been really effective for enhancing our integrations and making it easier to connect with over a hundred different HRIS platforms. This is crucial for us since we're an ATS at our core, and it ensures a smooth experience for our customers. The responsiveness of Kombo's team to product feedback is something I really appreciate, as they make positive changes based on our suggestions. Their team has been incredibly responsive during the initial setup process, making it straightforward and easy. They reply quickly when we have issues, which isn't typical for many companies. Kombo's partnership with UKG makes it easy for us to use their connections to send and retrieve data easily, almost like copying and pasting. What do you dislike about Kombo?

When we first signed up with Kombo, there were definitely some HRIS or payroll platforms that they didn't support. What do you like best about Kombo?

I really like Kombo's team; they're great and extremely easy to work with. They're really quick in responding to new suggestions and handling tasks efficiently. The good coverage they offer for ATSs, encompassing most of the major ones, is also appreciated. Their framework is very good, and they're super knowledgeable about what's possible with each of the ATSs, which results in rarely having errors or issues. What do you dislike about Kombo?

I mean, the depth of their integrations—they integrate with a lot, but it would definitely be nice to have deeper abilities, more of the kind of more niche things, just generally deeper integration. What do you like best about Kombo?

I like that Kombo standardizes the data from different ATS systems, which makes it easier to provide better analytics to our customers. This standardization of data, terminology, and cleanliness is a big plus for me because it allows us to add new data points easily, like cost per hire, without having to manually integrate with each ATS. What do you dislike about Kombo?

Kombo is only able to operate within the realm of what the ATS allows it to do. Some ATSs, like Paycom, have limitations in what they can do regardless of who connects to them. "Amazing breadth and depth across HRIS providers. Extremely responsive and supportive team"
What do you like best about Kombo?

Kombo has such great breadth and depth across HRIS providers. Not only do they have substantial coverage across providers, but they also consolidate performance data, groups, documents, and much more.

I've analyzed quite a few people in this space. Where Kombo stands out the most:

- Great transparency in their docs about which features/providers are in beta, closed beta, and the associated gotchas

- No gimmicks or hidden fees during the sales process. Unlike some of their competitors, Kombo didn't hit me with any surprise fees late into diligence.

- Their focus on privacy is second to none. I was able to configure scopes so that our customers have complete control over all fields that are even accessible to us. A huge deal when serving enterprise customers

- Along with column-level toggling (scopes), Kombo also provides row-level visibility, allowing our customers to pre-filter entire sets of users.

- It was extremely easy to use. I had a proof of concept in a day. They have sandbox instances where you can test against production-like instances. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kombo?

What do you like best about Kombo?

I like Kombo for its ability to connect to all major ATS and HRIS without needing to develop and maintain a dedicated API. The webhook for Teamtailor is particularly helpful, and I find the flow they built to connect to ATS and HRIS incredibly easy to use, unlike anything I've seen before. It's great that they specifically focus on ATS and HRIS instead of other tools. The initial setup was very, very easy, and I also appreciate the incredibly reactive support team. What do you like best about Kombo?

I like that Kombo's schemas are very simple and well built. Their API is very robust, which is really helpful. Their support is incredible, as they constantly get on calls with me or answer my questions through Slack in a very timely manner.
