**What do you like best about VidCruiter?**

I find that VidCruiter is easy for candidates to use, with a straightforward login process and the option for retakes. The candidate experience is really great, as the process is easy to follow and understand, which makes it a smooth experience overall. Compared to other programs we've used in the past, VidCruiter has been pretty easy to set up.

**What do you dislike about VidCruiter?**

I feel like it was very manual from the end user standpoint. It wasn't very intuitive as far as changing questions and updating things on our end.

**What problems is VidCruiter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use VidCruiter for video interviews and reference checks. Because it's so easy for the candidates, there are a lot less questions from candidates coming to my team.

like that VidCruiter is easy to use, quick to set up, and has all the features needed for smooth candidate screening and interviews. It integrates well with other tools, I use it regularly, and the customer support is helpful whenever needed.

Sometimes it can be a bit slow, and a few features are not very intuitive at first. Other than that, it works well and makes the hiring process easier.

**What do you like best about VidCruiter?**

Customizable interview templates, structured digital interviews and automated candidate progression save a significant amount of time and ensure consistency across roles & Hiring managers. The platform is also intuitive to use, making it easier to onboard new team members quickly. Additionally, the ability to tracjk candidate status in real time and maintain clear documentation within the system adds to the overall transparency and efficiancy of our hiring process.

**What do you dislike about VidCruiter?**

The system feels a bit rigid when making real time edits to templates, especially once a requisition is already active. Additionally, occiational delays in system integration with the Springboard Platform. Although these are not major blockers, addressing them would certainly enhance the overall efficiency.

**What problems is VidCruiter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

VidCruiter is helping us streamline and standardize our interview and candidate evaluation processes. It solves key challenges such as scheduling delays, inconsistent interview experiences, and manual coordination between hiring teams. With features like automated interview scheduling, structured video interviews, and centralized feedback collection, VidCruiter enables faster hiring decisions and a more consistent, scalable process.

**What do you like best about VidCruiter?**

VidCruiter is fantastic at being something that isn't just "out of the box." They work with you to truly identify your needs, and then work to build the platform around that. Having a fantastic customer service team, and frequent communication, VidCruiter makes it so much easier to have a system that actually works for you as a client.

**What do you dislike about VidCruiter?**

No option to mass-edit things like positions, users, etc can be time consuming, but VidCruiter also has a team that can help with big changes. Reporting is also a big need, and currently you must have admin access to get to the reporting, which does cause some issues internally.

**What problems is VidCruiter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows us to bring in large quantities of candidates, automatically advance them through the process, screen them, then push them to a Hire in Workday. If allows our ATS and CRM to be separate, helping us keep processes and data cleaner.

People are patient, polite and a great support for somebody like me who did not have the time to read the manual. Steps to create position and questions are easy.

Too many steps when it comes to adding more canddiates to a lauched position but when you do it once you're all set

**What do you like best about VidCruiter?**

I love that I can send cadidates virtual pre-screen interviews as this saves so much time in bulk hiring, i like that I can look back at their pre-screens in the future, the redo question feature is great as well. When sending references I like that it flags them if they have the same device/IP, that references can input their information via email instead of having to call them, the history option where it shows if emails have been opened as well. All in all makes things much easier and more efficient.

**What do you dislike about VidCruiter?**

I wish we could customize emails sent out to candidates to look more like our company's brand example: colours, templates, ect. so candidates know exactly why they are recieving this email, we send out emails letting them know but this could help with response rate as sometimes response rate on these can be low. Instead of making look like its from vidcruiter make it look like its from the company themselves. 

Sometimes in pre-screens where candidates are recording themselves it does not always work properly. Would be great if it was easier for candidates do this on their mobile devices/tablets as well.

**What problems is VidCruiter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It takes alot of time to pre-screen candidates for bulk hiring for example: Customer Service Representatives, this helps us become more efficient and allows us to focus on more roles at once. we also send references through here as well, this saves alot of time because vidcruiter does the work for us, we just get our candidates to input their references infromation and then the references get contacted automatically. the updates sent to the candidate when things need to be completed or are complete are great through vidcruiter as well. it would be even better in my opinion, if the emails looked like they're from our company directly.

The platform is very user-friendly for recruiters and candidates alike. Once you know your way around the system it saves a lot of time and effort. The customer representatives are always so prompt and helpful, its always a pleasure to work with them. The seamless integration with our CRM also helps save time when adding rating users.

**What do you dislike about VidCruiter?**

I've been using Vidcruiter as a tool for one-way video interviews at my org for almost a year, and we have not experienced any drawbacks yet.

conducting one-way video interviews for a larger group of candidates in one go. It saves us time and allows our hiring panels to shortlist and assess candidates efficiently.

I like how we have the abiliity to customize your questions and make it exactly how you need it for your business needs. The customer service chat is amazing, they always reply so quickly and are really helpful!

Sometimes the process flow isnt super intuitive, have to ask questions to the chat on how to do something. but they do reply quickly so it really isnt an issue.

Daphne and her team provide hands down the best customer service!  They tailor everything to meet your needs.  When you complete an evaluation, they actually use that information to make necessary changes from year to year.  The work they do helps alleviate some stress from our administrative team during an extremely crucial time.

**What do you like best about VidCruiter?**

One of the most frustrating things about high volume recruiting is when candidates schedule interviews but don't show up. Time is wasted reviewing resumés and applications in preparation for those interviews and it cuts into your day. We hire more than 400 seasonal employees each year, consisting mostly of College and University students. VidCruiter allows us to meet our candidates on their time, not ours. Any candidates that partake in the interview process are doing so because they want the job, no more "no shows". The implementation team was fantastic to work with, making the software easy to use and understand, they ensured we were completely comfortable with it before we launched our recruiting campaign live to the public. Everyone has been very responsive to queries and solutions come quickly. One of the most beneficial features of VidCruiter for our organization is the applicant driven reference check system. This extra layer of scrutiny is very difficult to achieve when recruiting on a mass scale, it takes many hours to complete. The applicant driven reference check system cuts down on those hours immensely. Another great feature is the automation in notification emails, which provides fewer manual touchpoints, saving our recruiting team countless hours in communicating with candidates. I would highly recommend VidCruiter, especially for those recruiting in high volumes.

**What do you dislike about VidCruiter?**

If there was a downside to using VidCruiter, it would have to be that we're removing some of the human element to the interview process. In a live interview, you can ask a candidate to expand on topics, but you lose this opportunity with pre-recorded interviews. You have to be very intentional in the way you ask a pre-recorded interview question, how will it be interpreted by the candidate? Will it give us enough information to make a decision on whether to hire that individual or not? One of the nice features of VidCruiter is the ability to use videos in the interview questions. Our staff recorded the interview questions to put a bit of that human element back into the process, providing the candidate an opportunity to see the people they will be working with and getting a taste of the work culture. The benefits of pre-recorded interviews for high volume recruiting greatly outweighs any of the negative aspects.

Time and quality of candidates are the biggest issues facing our recruiting team with high volume recruiting. VidCruiter will save our team countless hours and the applicant driven reference check system will improve the quality of our new hires.

Some things still seem clunky in the scheduling platform, such as the ability to set specific days of availability for an interview round.

We were spending majority of our time on the phone chasing stakeholders and candidates to organise interviews and the scheduler has significantly supported this.

**What do you like best about VidCruiter?**

With the help of VidCruiter, I was able to successfully run 7 processes in 2 years. Using VidCruiter has improved the quality of our processes significantly. The tools they provide allow us to easily track and assess each candidate. It’s very easy to go from one phase to another and back again. Searching for candidate files is very easy and takes but seconds. 

We are now able to process large collective processes within 5 months (from the time screening starts to the pool being established – incl. testing and interviews). Being able to shorten the timeframe without it affecting the quality in a negative way, has allowed us to do more in less time. 

The VidCruiter team that was assigned to us has been wonderful since day 1. They are extremely helpful, knowledgeable and quick to respond. The best part is that we have been working with the same team for over 2 years! This gave us an opportunity to build a strong working relationship. Our assigned VidCruiter team is also very engaged. They hold meetings with various shareholders within our department so we can get together and learn from each other. They don’t just provide advice, guidance and suggestions to us, they also listen to our suggestions. When we have a good suggestion, they always look into implementing it. 

The VidCruiter help desk is also extremely helpful. My team contacts then on a regular basis with various questions. They help to resolve quick issues and they also aid in guiding when we are unsure on how to complete various tasks. They always answer within 5 minutes, and they are always very knowledgeable and helpful. They are also very helpful with our clients. Our clients can also contact them anytime and they get a response within minutes. 

Overall, I am very pleased with VidCruiter and cannot imagine running processes without them. They have made my job significantly easier.

**What do you dislike about VidCruiter?**

I honestly don't have anything to say. I've only had good luck with VidCruiter.

**What problems is VidCruiter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Time savings. Prior to using VidCruiter, processes would take us a year or more. Now, we are running processes within 5 months. Not only are we only taking 5 months, but we are running more than 1 process at a time.

So far our experience with VidCruiter has been fantastic. The platform itself is extremely user friendly and easy to navigate. However, the best part about VidCruiter has been the amazing partnership we have gained. The team is always responsive and eager to help when needed. The training provided has been a major factor of our success in the platform thus far. Our candidates have been higher quality and the hiring process has become faster and more efficient. I would highly reccommend Vidcruiter and their team.

So far I do not have any concerns regarding the system. Any concerns or changes we have wanted to make the team had responded and reacted within hours. They work with us to create a platform that is just right and makes the most sense for our business.

**What do you like best about VidCruiter?**

VidCruiter's onboarding team worked diligently with us to get our rather messy reference check process up and running. They are always quick to make adjustments as we need. We've been using VidCruiter for 2 years now and our reference check process is now easy to manage and fully automated because of VidCruiter.

**What do you dislike about VidCruiter?**

I really don't have a lot of negative things to say about VidCruiter. It could be helpful to have more frequent check ins with our account manager and to have an account review in order to determine if there are any improvements we can make to our process in case there have been new functions released that we don't know about.

**What problems is VidCruiter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our professional reference check process before using VidCruiter was very manual and not scalable. VidCruiter reference check process has decreased our manual processes by 90%, allowing our relationship managers to focus their efforts elsewhere. Having a mostly automated system has allowed our credentialing department to scale.

This platform is very easy to navigate. Very simple to learn.

Auto emails going into junk mail! But that is not any fault of this product. I would like an email when an applicant's reference is totally completed.

The benefits is that it has saved so much time by not having to physically call, email references. It has lightened my work load immensely.

The implementation team that helped us was amazing. As a Business Analyst I appreciated their attention to detail was well as their ability to gather requirements in a quick and defficient manner. Shoutout Rob Petolas & Thomas Weinmaster for providing great customer support and assisting with an ease of integration.

I wish each Applicant had an "applicantID" so I could see an Applicant Profile and easily see all the positions they reside in in one view.

**What do you like best about VidCruiter?**

We use Vidcruiter as a screening tool to screen our candidates before bringing them in for first round interviews. Vidcruiter is easy and smooth for our candidates. It takes less than 15 minutes to complete a video interview and allows candidates to submit their interview on their own time.

**What do you dislike about VidCruiter?**

One of the downsides of VidCruiter is that it can be challenging for individuals who are not familiar with technology or lack tech-savviness to submit their interviews. However, VidCruiter has an excellent customer service team that responds quickly to any tech issues immediately.

**What problems is VidCruiter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is solving our needs to screen a large pool of candidates for our most popular positions.

Interface is a little limited and clunky.  But still easy to use. NOt a huge negative.

Vidcruiter made the interviewee facing scheduling seemless. That took away manhours from our staff to focus on bigger picture tasks at hand.

The lest helpfull for us was the feature to automate the hirering when a candidate had a certain percentage that was accumulated during the recruiting process. While we understand the need for this type of feature for bigger companies, it was too much for us.

**What do you like best about VidCruiter?**

VidCruiter is a great tool that I use within my department and within a college, and it helps us recruit for the programs we run. It is beneficial because our programs are mostly online, and our candidates can apply from any geographical location, including out of state/county. An online tool that is customizable for our needs, like VidCruiter, is essential for our success and sustainment because a large portion of our student population gets recruited/admitted this way. VidCruiter is very customizable and brandable, so the site's use, look, and feel, are cohesive and work together. We've had it explicitly customized for recruiting students to our programs, and it's tailored but still accessible for those with disabilities, which is also very important to us. The support team is also excellent and has helped to suggest and greatly improve our site. We have a dedicated support team, and they very much feel like a dedicated support team. They pull in knowledge and experience from everything they know and that they've worked on and use it to suggest and implement design suggestions. I can tell them my idea or request, and they take that and develop ideas for implementation as well. If I have any issues with the site, they extensively look into the matter, figure out what's causing it, fix it, and suggest how to avoid it again. I definitely recommend VidCruiter not just for the platform but also for the support team.

**What do you dislike about VidCruiter?**

Some things are particular within the platform, and if you don't follow steps specifically or if you leave something out, it can cause some funky things to happen. Still, customer service is always there to identify the problem and help you get things working as you want. This has not been a big deal, but it helps to have customer service available when these situations arise.

**What problems is VidCruiter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

During the pandemic, VidCruiter was initially solving for having to interview candidates face-to-face. It also removed the time constraints for the applicants because they could record their interview whenever was convenient for them versus having to schedule an interview with faculty members. This also freed up the faculty schedules, and they could review applicants whenever they had the time.

With a very unique candidate lifecycle to manage, the customization aspect of VidCruiter was huge for us. The level of detail the team went into to first learn the specificities of our current state for recruiting and then the team's use of that knowledge to co-develop the best possible future state; I really can't dream of a better possible outcome. Finally, the team's leading us down the path to implementation and continuing to support us post-go-live has been a blessing through and through.

Rather than a dislike, a wishlist item would be for a dedicated phone app that allows simple VidCruiter tasks to be completed on the phone would be all the more game-changing.

Everything. Our waitlist management for candidates we are not currently onboarding for, assessments both video and written exam, technical check of our candidates' equipment, document collation and storing as well as providing us with data so we can recruit smarter, not harder.

**What do you like best about VidCruiter?**

VidCruiter has allowed our hiring teams the convenience of interviewing candidates and reviewing their responses to our questions without having to find a mutually convenient interview slot all the time. The platform has also eliminated the need for telephone screening interviews, as we tailored the platform to ask the preliminary questions we need answers to. We also found that VidCruiter enhanced our efficiencies, as we can trigger emails at various stages to candidates from within the platform.

**What do you dislike about VidCruiter?**

There is so much that we love about VidCruiter. We regret that we did not start using the platform sooner during our faculty hiring process. An improvement that could be made is to add the ability for candidates to share their screens during the pre-recorded interview. If this is not something you require your candidates to do, then the absence of this feature would not be an issue for you. We do manage to work around it.

**What problems is VidCruiter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

VidCruiter now allows our panel members more flexibility to engage in other tasks daily instead of trying to fit in at least an hour per candidate to facilitate the virtual interviews we utilized with sessional faculty before. Now, our raters can review the video responses and rate candidates at their convenience. This has dramatically increased the productivity for completing other tasks, as the time required to review a candidate's interview has drastically decreased.

The VidCruiter system itself is excellent, and is very intuitive. There is usually a solution to everything, and even if it's not initially clear, the amazing VidCruiter support team work quickly and efficiently to provide a solution that seems simple to me as the user.

We use VidCruiter for university application material, and I would say the only negative aspect is that it doesn't incorporate or match any UBC branding. We do have the logo on the homepage, but the emails etc. look different to the standard UBC emails.

We needed a solution that involved video interview upload/recording, and the ability to upload various PDFs and display them all together, in one platform/environment. Where our main Student portal lets us down, VidCruiter saves the day!

Collecting applicant data is the best part, once the job is setup in the system having them complete the online form makes it easy to see if they are suitable and where there could be potential issues that need to be covered.
The helpdesk team are fantastic, so clear and quick to get back to me and I'm in Australia.

**What do you dislike about VidCruiter?**

At first I found it hard to put my process into a workflow but the helpdesk team were amazing at helping me through.  I still get a little confused by the Templates but that's more me as a user not their product.


**Recommendations to others considering VidCruiter:**

When you setup, map your process then get the helpdesk team to review with you, they offer unlimited support and are know the system inside out.

Applicant process was very cumbersome with my database so Vidcruiter has really made life so much easier and faster.
I travel for 2 months every year but still have to manage work and this has saved me so much time.
Clients really love the applicant profile links, it helps them to see the answers to their questions very quickly.

**What do you like best about VidCruiter?**

Your interview process operates smoothly.  Individuals that I have worked with as panel members also enjoy it.  It also eliminates the use of a lot of paper.

The only competitors I can compare it to are Google Meet and Zoom.  Vidcruiter is more effective for my usage because, again, it eliminates paper usage, panel members can take notes on the program, everything is saved in the system, and the program automatically scores applicants interviewed.

**What do you dislike about VidCruiter?**

It appears that the program is not compatible for use with Chrome books.

Panel members' information has to be entered too many times in different areas.

**What problems is VidCruiter solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am using less paper.  Information is maintained in the system.  VidCruiter calculate scores for immediate results on who your top picks are.

VidCruiter allows applicants and reviewers to be anywhere in the world.

**What do you dislike about VidCruiter?**

The applicant can hear the questions.  Record the first attempt.  Pause for however long to craft their response.  And then return to the second attempt after much polish.  We could solve this by only allowing one attempt (which doesn't seem fair) or asking for a limit to time out the interview session.

Location of applicants and Location of reviewers.  Staff members are able to hear all responses (this was not the case when we did in person interviews).
