What do you like best about UKG Pro?

It is a web based product so it can be easily access anywhere with a smart phone. The mobile app is extremely useful for our employees. It's functionality is very logical and easy to teach to new users. Cognos reporting is also incredibly helpfulm and it's versatility helps us meet our needs as they change over time. The responsiveness of the Customer Success Team has also improved their response time in the last year. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about UKG Pro?

The Customer Success Site can still be frustrating to use. The categories and options presented when completing a support case are not as varied as in the past, making it difficult in some cases to "correctly" submit a case for assistance, and the AI/predictive text features get in the way when composing the description portion of a case. It would be more helpful to allow a user to finish typing and then allow the AI to offer assistance with refinement of the wording. When I am already dealing with a problem, dealing with a system that is acting like an over stimulated puppy just adds unnecessary stress to the situation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about UKG Pro?

I truly appreciate how UKG Pro serves all aspects of HRIS for my company, including onboarding, document management, payroll, and benefits. The built-in standard reports are particularly valuable, streamlining the creation of reports necessary for auditing, ad hoc scenarios, and comprehensive data management. I find the software to be very aesthetically pleasing and easy to use, which enhances my experience significantly. Moreover, I highly value the customizable reporting feature in UKG Pro. Though it might require some time to master building reports from scratch, the potential to create limitless reports that offer valuable insights to my organization’s leaders is unparalleled. What do you dislike about UKG Pro?

One area that could be improved in UKG Pro is the navigation process when dealing with new hires. Specifically, the challenge lies in not being able to easily jump back to a desired menu item. For example, if I need to make an edit to personal information while on step 8 of the new hire processing, I prefer the convenience of clicking directly on 'Personal Information' from the left menu panel, rather than having to click the back button multiple times to reach the desired section. What do you like best about UKG Pro?

The software is easy to use, with straightforward navigation and setup. Since it is designed specifically for payroll, all the necessary features are available in a clear and simple format. I also want to add that the customer support is great, always available and ready whether it is on a ticket case through the Community or a phone call through the Rapid Response number. What do you dislike about UKG Pro?

One aspect I really dislike about Pro is that the "work from home" flag on the employee record seems to have no effect. When someone is working remotely, this setting doesn't do anything. Before switching to Pro, we used Oracle, and in that system, if the "work from home" flag was set to "Yes," the software would automatically use the employee's home address for tax calculations. What do you like best about UKG Pro?

UKG Pro is my favorite all in one HRIS software. It's easy to navigate and learn for front end users, and as a System Administrator, I found it easy to pick up and learn. On the Pro side, Business Rules and other settings are easy to access and learn. It is easy to build skills by expanding knowledge into learning Platform Configuration. My favorite thing about UKG Pro is Business Intelligence aka People Analytics. The ability to customize reports and build robust calculations to fit business needs makes the tool incredibly valuable. I also really appreciate the UKG Community. The way users and UKG's experts interact in that space make it an incredibly powerful learning tool in addition to the UKG University. What do you dislike about UKG Pro?

There have been some challenges in the past on the tax side of UKG; however, it appears that has been resolved. WFM Timekeeping is also a complex system from the configuration standpoint and there is a bit steeper of a learning curve for that system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about UKG Pro?

I've partnered with UKG for over 5 year and it's been bliss! My previous experiences with former HRIS vendors made me realized what I was missing out on and the customer service is top-notch. The frustration with previous vendors made me anxious. The rapid response team is helpful, understanding, and experts in their area of specialty. Whenever I contact UKG, I know that I will receive the best customer service possible. From Implementation to the present, things have only gotten better to experience how we can utilize their products and services. I wish the Performance Review System was a bit more flexible and easier to work with.

What do you like best about UKG Pro?

I find Mo to be incredibly beneficial for recognizing and appreciating my colleagues' hard work across the company. I love how Mo fosters a culture of recognition by allowing for both big events and small wins, ensuring everyone feels seen and valued. One of the standout features for me is the reward system, which provides a financial bonus for acknowledged efforts, significantly boosting morale, especially in the long-hours hospitality industry. The ability to easily set up nominations for employee of the month and quarter, along with tracking staff birthdays and anniversaries, ensures we never miss an opportunity for recognition. The recent updates have improved the user interface, making it easier to navigate, which I appreciate. The layout now allows me to track my activity and that of my team, encouraging participation. What do you dislike about UKG Pro?

I encountered challenges and frustration earlier this year due to a big update to Mo that caused many functions to not work properly. Additionally, I dislike the inability to edit entries on Mo. Sometimes if I type something wrong or tag the wrong person, I have to start all over again, which is inconvenient. What do you like best about UKG Pro?

The best thing about UKG Pro is its ease of use. I can simply send my CSRs a link to the platform without any instructions, and they are able to find their pay stubs, W-2 or W-4 forms, change their direct deposit information, and even use the Model My Pay tool. This tool helps them estimate how much their paycheck will be if they receive bonuses, work overtime, or adjust their tax bracket or number of dependents. What do you dislike about UKG Pro?

One drawback is that logging into the site requires the use of the authenticator app. While this does enhance security, my team consistently encounters difficulties with this aspect of the app's login process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
