The overall scoring is segmented and can offer a poor reflection of a candidate's ability.

E.g., I could not have test-driven the synchronisation code, and scored a lot of points on the concurrency / thread-safety metric, bringing my overall average up. However, I would expect a professional to test drive such behaviour, but they might not be able to do this within time and therefore score zero on this metric - less than someone just throwing the right keywords in the right places.
