"A powerful platform for simplifying Industry 4.0 solutions"
What do you like best about Tulip?

What I like most about Tulip is how easy it is to use and edit. The platform has a clean, intuitive interface, which makes building and maintaining applications straightforward even for complex use cases. Integration with other systems is also very smooth, allowing us to connect devices and external services quickly without unnecessary complexity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tulip?

One area that could be improved is the expression handling in triggers. While powerful, it can feel a bit cumbersome to use, and smarter or more user-friendly expression building would make complex logic easier to manage. Additionally, Tulip Tables could be more robust, especially when working with larger or more complex datasets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Tulip Makes Life Easier"
What do you like best about Tulip?

What I like most about the platform is the speed to which it can solve a problem. Often times someone may want a simple and quick solution to an on going head ache. An exmaple of that would be a way to collect 5S or machine inspection reports without drop box or walking the floor everyday. In less than a few hours, I can build the app, deploy it, and train users on it. This saves so much time not only for the problem at hand but even the time required for a solution. What do you dislike about Tulip?

There's not a whole lot to dislike. A nice addition would be step by step youtube learning tutorials but a lot of information is already in their community, university courses, and knowledge hub. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"MES solution for agile companies"
What do you like best about Tulip?

One of the best features is the ability to use the latest technology to rapidly solve challenges that are unique to our operations. Rapid development/deployment of solutions takes hours or days, everything is scalable. With Tulip we can implement the latest manufacturing methods in a small or large footprint without committing to large software packages where the investment dictates the direction. If we try something and it doesn't work, we move on to the next thing. We don't force a subpar solution because we "bought" a feature.

The results and practical application of solutions drive the development. Some solutions are long term while others are for the moment. Development of apps around your current workforce is possible, you can design the interface to match the comfort level of the users. Implementation that is customized to the user results in a much higher usage rate.

There is a vast and active community that develops solutions and features ahead of official releases. Often you can find a solution for a near identical problem that someone else has already solved. Customer service and technical help is fast and responsive. API integrations are available for many other software’s which allows you to use Tulip as a UI for all of them. What do you dislike about Tulip?

Cloud based service can make it difficult to determine the source of a connection or latency problem. Is it our internal network, the internet provider or a offsite server? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Industry 4.0 made easy!"
What do you like best about Tulip?

Tulip allows you to leverage powerful applications to improve your processes. It allows you to build eDHRs, electronic work instructions, and much more to augment your processes, replace or eliminate mundane operations, automate, and connect numerous company softwares like SAP right into your applications. It eliminates tons of waste, and for us in building interactive work instructions saves, time, money, and improves quality.

For Management it allows you to easily build a visual system on your floor and gives you easy to configure dashboards that capture your information in real time allowing you to pivot quickly to changes and challenges.

We currently are in our POC phase where work and building in these awesome features has made this software so easy to impliment on our product line. We currently use it on approximately 20 work stations with interactive IO and smart tools and setup was incredibly easy.

Customer support is incredibly quick and always willing to help you solve your problem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tulip?

We have had some issues with content during revisions of applications where movies or pictures do not display in the applications, which is usually solved with a quick system refresh. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Tulip is a great enabler for a Digitalization Program"
What do you like best about Tulip?

Tulip is an intuitive, end-user-oriented, easy to use "platform to build applications", that allows quick delivery of apps in a controlled and complaint way. I like the range of use cases you can address with it, from simple analytic views to suites of apps to manage complex workflows. If there is a "green field" or "brown field" landscape in an organization, Tulip is a great enabler for a "get-rid-of-paper" Digitalization Program. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tulip?

The more you like the platform, the more you want to do with it and the expectations grow continiuosly. After our first global deployments, we have reached the point where we need more controls and features around full EBR-like use cases for lifescience. Tulip is working on these enhancements in their product roadmap. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Tulip is a powerful tool for Manufacturing data analysis"
What do you like best about Tulip?

Tulip is a powerful, user-friendly platform in the manufacturing industry. Creating and implementing apps is as simple as can be without sacrificing advanced features. Being a logic-based programming language, the apps you create feel limitless; there is usually always a solution to every roadblock when defining what you want Tulip to do. Downloading the app for integration on stations in the work floor is quick and easy, developers can administrate stations and apps all from the same platform. The customer support from Tulip is friendly, knowledgable, and prompt. If I ever had an issue or was stuck on finding a way to program something the Tulip customer support would always get back to me with solutions to my issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tulip?

It's hard to say what is least helpful about Tulip since any issues, missing features, or bugs in the app are promptly adressed by Tulip customer support. It is an evolving platform that implements new features throughout the year. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"One of the Best low code platform focusing on ShopFloor digitalization"
What do you like best about Tulip?

It's low code architecture. 80% of shopfloor's digital needs were covered. Free to add as many tables & store unlimited data that too in cloud. Automations opened up lot more possibilities with the tool. Promoting citizen app development culture impacting on building a digital mindset culture in Manufacturing facilities. Agile & DevOps inbuilt within the platform for swifter solution deployments. Customer support is great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tulip?

Machine monitoring controls lack logical functionalities & as it's a complete cloud solution, data loss due to connectivity issues was not addressed within the platform. It would be nice to have a bi-directional connection & advanced Machine logic tables to meet certain MES expectations. Analytics were limited to a specific table/app & doesn't support joins or lookups. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Tulip - Flexible and Powerful Manufacturing Digitization Platform"
What do you like best about Tulip?

The flexibility of Tulip has enabled our manufacturing facilities to remain innovative with customizeable solutions that meet their varying process types, but also allows for our central team to ensure standards around data schemas, scope, and topic of applications. It is an easy platform for people to learn, and allows for very rapid digitization of manual or paper- based processes on our plant floors. We have many facilities who have fully digitized their shops with Tulip and use it all day every day! Additionally, the support team of Tulip is exceptional - incredibly responsive, diligent with your issue, and willing to go the extra mile to find a resolution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Tulip?

We find the need to create a lot of custom widgets still as the platform features are growing. Some hurdles around stations and application assignment, a bit clunky for people not used to the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
