The recruiting dashboard is exceptionally well organised, allowing me to track candidates from a new application through to Hired in a single, clean view. I really like the column display and bulk action features, which make managing high-volume roles, like our live streaming video coordinator, much faster and easier. The ability to tag specific candidates as a great candidate or a future hire directly in the list view also helps our team stay aligned without needing extra meetings. Occasionally, the reporting and analytics section takes a few extra seconds to load during peak hiring cycles. I’d also like to see more advanced filtering options within the “search within” field, so it’s easier to sort through long-term talent pools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It was very aesthetically pleasing as a platform. Employees were able to easily use it and all the features it had to offer. As the employer there were a lot of great reports we could pull. Viewing time cards was easy. Being able to have a community section to praise employees was very nice to have. Overall one of the nicer platforms. There were a lot of little things such as being able to pull multiple paychecks. The reps constantly changed and would reach out asking if you wanted to buy something or add something to your current product. PTO was a nightmare as far as setting up policies. Having a designated account manager is nice but it was often changed. Switching from Paylocity was not easy, there is not a lot Paylocity does to help with the transition. I like that Paylocity is very user friendly compared to other platforms I've used. I work with employees who are not tech savvy at all and they have been able to learn how to use the app. The website interface itself is intuitive and easy to navigate. I also appreciate that Paylocity is consistently improving the platform and adding new features which shows the effort to stay up to date and adapt to new technology. The onboarding tools have a lot of room for improvement. Compared to other platforms, the onboarding workflow and overall interface are not as intuitive or streamlined. We have had to rely on additional systems and resources alongside Paylocity to complete onboarding tasks, which is not the most convenient but works for our organization. The benefits administration feature exists, but it has not been usable for us based on guidance we received, so we are currently exploring third party solutions instead. I really appreciate the support feature through our assigned account rep, which was super helpful during our transition back to Paylocity. They made sure everything lined up smoothly, preventing any user frustration. The performance review section is great, and I also enjoy the easy function to journal during one-on-one conversations with employees. It's easy to track in the system and there's the flexibility to make entries viewable to the employee or keep them private to the supervisor. I also appreciate being able to build performance reviews from scratch or use built-in features, which helps us share them with the employee ahead of their review. Lastly, the seamless way for supervisors to approve or edit timesheets and the lack of a need for a separate tracking system for journaling is fantastic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I've only run into one recurring situation, and I don't know if it's just on my mobile device, or sometimes I find it in the browser as well. But when I'm going into request time off, sometimes the way the calendars show up on the screen, it's really hard to maneuver to the next month. I'm not seeing the arrow to maneuver to the next month. Or if the window isn't completely open, it doesn't give me the submit option. I really like Paylocity's incredibly responsive customer support. Anytime we have a question or concern with our setup or need to change anything, they provide helpful answers that go beyond just a surface-level solution. The reporting is difficult to navigate. It takes a lot to understand how the reports are set up, and there's a bit of a learning curve. The biggest gap we see is that there isn't a great audit log of changes to employees. It's hard to get reporting that lists an audit log of every change made to personnel records and when the effective date was. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really like Paylocity for its ease of use for both admins and employees. It is simplistic and not complicated for either party to use. Things are pretty straightforward to find. It's less expensive than other systems, which is great. The customer service is also a plus since it's easy to get a hold of someone, which reduces frustrations for my team. I find the reporting and performance management and goals aspects of Paylocity could be improved. The reports are often generated incomplete, and the standard reports do not provide enough information, and you almost always need to edit them. There is also a $250 charge for them to do a custom report...

Paylocity has proven to be extremely helpful when it comes to onboarding new employees and managing payroll. The onboarding process is straightforward and user-friendly, which helps save time and minimizes mistakes. The most challenging part of using Paylocity has been the time clock kiosk feature on iPads, which has not performed as well as we had hoped. This has led to difficulties for employees when clocking in and out. To address these timekeeping problems and enhance reliability for our staff, we have decided to order a kiosk directly from Paylocity in hopes that it will provide a better solution. We are able to keep all of our record-keeping systems within a single application. We use it for payroll, HR, compensation, time and labor, benefits, and COBRA. Having everything in one place makes it much easier to navigate and accomplish tasks efficiently. Our company uses 11 different pay rates, and currently, there is no way to update these rates except by doing it manually, which takes a lot of time. It has everything I could possibly need as an HR professional, including recruiting, onboarding, training, performance reviews, time and labor, and payroll. At my previous employer, I was using different systems for each of those areas, which made things more complicated. Paylocity makes it easy to keep everything in one simple, user-friendly HRIS. Time and Labor Module. There seems to be a little confusion with PTO used and balances due to the timing of closing the payperiod. I wish it was better streamlined with HR/Payroll.

Benefits Module. I wish when we are doing our renewal set up we could have a more efficient way to contact our account manager.
