What do you like best about Remote?

I really appreciate Remote for providing easy access to HR processes such as payslip and leave management, as well as employment confirmation letters. I love how I can access Remote easily via the mobile app or desktop site, and the clean, easy-to-use UI is a big plus for me. Their country handbooks are incredibly useful for finding information without having to constantly email HR. The preprogrammed public holidays, down to the specific state, help me plan my time off without needing to refer to multiple different calendars. The initial setup was very seamless, and Remote took care of asking all the right questions and processing necessary documents, including updates to my tax records, which was super helpful. What do you dislike about Remote?

What do you like best about Remote?

I work for a Finnish company, but since I’m based in Spain, I was absolutely certain I didn’t want a freelancer position because taxes here are quite complicated. I made sure to ask about this in every interview. When they explained that they use an EOR and I wouldn’t have to handle anything myself, it was ideal. We even receive benefits through the platform, which makes sense since some Finnish benefits aren’t available in Spain. In the end, it really feels like working for a Spanish company. The chatbot is also quite helpful, and whenever I’ve needed to open a support ticket, the issue was resolved quickly.

Also, they are sync with Personio, so i can request my holidays in just one place and they are automatically replicated on our internal HR system Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Remote?

The only task I had to handle manually was adjusting our bank holidays. On my island, we have regional holidays, which were already set up, but there are also specific island and city bank holidays. What do you like best about Remote?

I use Remote to check my payslip, request leaves, and get my expenses approved. I find the onboarding experience to be smooth, structured, and time-saving, as I can set up new employees, upload documents, and finalize contracts with just a few clicks. I appreciate that it's an all-in-one HR platform handling hiring, payroll, time-off, benefits, expenses, and contracts all in one place, which reduces manual work and keeps everything organized. I also value the transparent costs and clear breakdown provided by Remote, as it gives me a clear view of salary, benefits, employer costs, deductions, and taxes, aiding in better budget planning. The employee self-service portal is incredibly handy, allowing employees to upload documents, update personal info, track time off, and view payslips without needing HR intervention, saving a lot of back-and-forth. What do you like best about Remote?

What I like most about Remote is how simple and organized the entire platform is. Everything I need—contracts, payslips, time off, benefits, tax documents, and updates—is centralized in one clean and intuitive interface. It saves me so much time because I don’t have to search through different systems or request basic information manually. The platform always feels reliable and transparent. What do you dislike about Remote?

The main issue I’ve noticed is that the exchange rate used for payments is not updated daily. This sometimes leads to discrepancies between the expected amount and the actual converted amount, which can be confusing and inconvenient. What do you like best about Remote?

My favorite thing about Remote is how streamlined everything is. The tool allows me to get paid on-time. They also have set-up perks like RRSP which allows you to have automatic withdrawal payments from your salary. I also use the tool a lot for booking vacation days and it's an easy-to-use process. Sometimes, I need to look for original documents from when I first joined and everything is neatly organized there. I've contacted support a couple times in the past and they were really helpful. When I was first hired through them, I found it easy to onboard and integrate this tool for my setup. I use remote pretty regularly to book vacation days, to access tools, and to look information up like pay stubs. Overall, I highly recommend. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Remote?

One thing I would love for Remote to do is offer the ability to do withdrawals into TFSA. Even though it wouldn't be tax-related it would help hide some money into savings without feeling the need to spend it. I think that would be the only thing I'd like to see. I really like that everything in Remote is fast and can be done online, which is crucial for efficiently managing tasks such as obtaining my salary, documents, and understanding working rules in Germany. The initial setup of Remote was perfect, which made transitioning from Deel, where document handling was slower, an easy decision for my team. I dislike that the benefits, such as insurance offered through Remote, can only be taken for a short period. I want to access insurance through Remote, specifically Allianz insurance, but found it to be expired when I needed it. I wish the benefits were accessible at any time, regardless of the timing. I don't like that the app on the phone keeps disconnecting, adding unnecessary friction each time I need to reconnect. This issue detracts from the overall seamlessness I expect from the service. Additionally, the assurance part within Remote is quite unclear to me. As an employee using Remote, my experience has been extremely positive. The platform makes everything, from onboarding to my monthly payroll simple and stress-free.
