Remote has been a reliable platform for receiving my payments on time and managing international employment. The interface feels modern and intuitive, and I like that all essential documentation—such as contracts and payslips—is centralized in one place. I also appreciate how Remote streamlines complex global payroll processes for both companies and workers. One improvement I’d suggest is exploring AI integration in a few key areas: smart payslip summaries, automated explanations for deductions or tax changes, and contextual guidance to help users navigate legal or payroll documents more confidently. Right now, payslips are listed with just a date and net amount, and clicking on one simply downloads a PDF. A more intuitive approach would be to allow users to preview or expand each payslip in-app with a clean, readable breakdown: gross pay, deductions, taxes, exchange rate, and final amount. "A World-Class Remote Employment Experience" 5/5 What do you like best about Remote? What I like best about Remote is how effortless it makes the entire employment experience. Everything, from onboarding and payroll to contracts and compliance, just works seamlessly in the background, allowing me to focus on my job instead of administrative tasks. The standout feature, however, is the customer support. Every interaction I've had has been prompt, professional, and genuinely helpful. The team is knowledgeable, friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile to resolve any questions quickly. It's rare to find a platform that combines such an intuitive user experience with world-class customer service. Remote takes the complexity out of working for an international company. The biggest benefit for me is peace of mind. New features have been added without making the experience complicated. With features to access payslip, tax-documents, leave-balance etc from from a single page saves time. I think remote should invest in technology and add features that can increase its customer base. Remote is undoubtedly the easiest to use and manage, and they should be working towards becoming global number one in EOR. I had experience to work with another EOR named G-P and they have invested heavily in technology and created AI tools in the Global HR Domain. Remote should work in that direction. There are companies that does not have global offices. Remote is helping those companies to hire candidate in a country where they are not registered as a company. This is a big thing. I really appreciate how Remote has enabled us to hire overseas without any additional admin burden, making it easy to engage quickly with individuals overseas. It keeps everything in place and provides a clean environment to manage employees efficiently. The onboarding process is really easy and smooth, especially when adding specific contractual elements. It's great that Remote integrates well with our HRIS HiBOB, improving the overall experience for EORs and UK-based managers and employees, making EORs feel more like a part of the wider team. It will often regurgitate information that is stored on your sort of help site, which is fine, but actually, you know, more often than not, I do need to speak to a person. So we get there in the end, but it's not as quick as I would probably like it to be. We've also had some payment issues which seen to be localised to one area. Remote has a very easy-to-use interface. The onboarding process was smooth from the start, and everything felt clear and straightforward right away. The platform loads quickly and stays responsive even when moving between payroll, contracts, and employee records. Compliance and country-specific requirements are handled in the background, which saves a considerable amount of research time. The integrations with our existing HR and accounting tools were simple to configure and have worked reliably since setup. Support responses have been prompt and practical rather than generic. The overall value is strong given how much manual work it removes from the hiring and payroll process. The AI agent introduced just recently eases quick searches. Lets us smoothly hire in a lot of countries. Pretty great, responsive customer service; they once got a US person onboarded for me literally in a single day to meet a deadline the person needed for access to health benefits for a medical need – which was all because the customer service team were very responsive and able to get things expedited internally. Mainly just the usual downsides of working with an employer of record, e.g. that there's less control and freedom over setting e.g. benefits, contractual terms etc.; and that there's more risk in case of any employment disputes because Remote's and the employer's incentives will likely not be fully aligned. Everything is virtual, and that’s the biggest benefit for me. Everything related to my employment, including documents and onboarding, is kept in one place, which makes it easy to stay organized. The UI is very easy to use, and the AI search helps me quickly find what I’m looking for. Integrations with other platforms are also straightforward and simple to use. It would be helpful if documents could be updated for employees more quickly once contract changes are made. Ideally, I’d like to receive the updated contract within 24 hours rather than 48, as that would make it easier to share and get it signed promptly. The onboarding process was smooth, payroll has been reliable and on time, and it’s easy to access payslips, tax documents, and employment information in one place. The platform is user-friendly, and the support team has been helpful whenever I had questions. Overall, it removes much of the complexity of working for an overseas company. I’d highlight the simplicity using the whole application, onboarding process along with its integration with other products like GreyHR and Pazcare, as well as insurance providers. It has a decent performance but since I've onboarded here as an employee I don't really know about it's pricing and how it compares with the other EOR type of applications. Whether it's a simple question or a more complex issue, I don't have to wait long for an update. In my experience, local holidays are not always automatically detected or reflected in the system, so they have to be updated manually. This can be a bit inconvenient and may lead to confusion if the holidays aren't added in time. It would be great if Remote could automatically recognize local public holidays based on the employee's location or allow them to sync more easily with the calendar. Remote has helped me resolve issues related to submitting my timesheet and payroll. Previously, I wasn't able to submit my timesheet correctly, which resulted in my night differential not being included in my pay. When I contacted their support team, they were very helpful and patiently walked me through the process step by step. They explained what I needed to do and made sure I understood how to submit my timesheet properly. Because of their guidance, the process became much easier, and I now know how to avoid the same issue in the future. Having responsive and knowledgeable support has given me confidence that any issues I encounter can be resolved quickly, making my overall experience with Remote much smoother.
