A surprise $98 fee appeared after purchase with disclosure buried in footnotes. When I asked support, I received a templated response pointing back to the fine print. Fees that materially change the price should be surfaced proactively (popup or inline warning before checkout). The lack of transparent pricing erodes trust and makes budgeting harder. That said, we recognize the importance of making this information as clear and visible as possible. These potential fees are currently surfaced to customers twice prior to submitting their order.
