**What do you like best about Workable?**

Honestly, in the past it was relatively affordable, and useful, dispite the AI feature not being really useful for applicants qualification.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

They claim you can post jobs on LinkedIn if you upgrade, but once you pay, you discover that it’s not true  you end up paying for a full month of a service you can’t use. Their support has been completely unhelpful. They refused a refund within 24 hours, even though they were the ones who told me to upgrade in order to access LinkedIn posting.

To make things worse, they also charge VAT even though, under the EU reverse-charge mechanism, they should not. Overall, a very disappointing and misleading experience.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Nothing, this platform is the biggest disappointment I've ever had with a software and it's the first negative review of my life.

**What do you like best about Workable?**

I've worked with several Applicant Tracking Systems over the years, but this one is by far the best I've ever used. Here's why:

Ease of Use: The interface is clean, intuitive, and user-friendly—even for first-time users. Everything is where it should be, making the entire hiring process feel effortless.

Ease of Implementation: Getting started was surprisingly smooth. The onboarding and setup were straightforward, and we were up and running in no time.

Customer Support: Exceptional. The support team is responsive, knowledgeable, and always ready to help with any questions or concerns.

Frequency of Use: I use it daily, and it consistently performs without a hitch. It’s become an essential part of our workflow.

Number of Features: It has everything we need—robust candidate tracking, automation, reporting, collaboration tools, and more. It covers all bases without being overwhelming.

Ease of Integration: Integrating it with our existing systems (email, calendars, HR tools) was seamless. It works well with everything we use, which saves us a lot of time and hassle.

Overall, this ATS has significantly improved our recruitment process. Highly recommend it to any team looking for a reliable, efficient, and feature-rich solution!

The best thing about Workable is that it's so easy to learn. Anybody can start using it from day 1.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

I think it needs a reminder system where Workable gives a warning to the admin if a candidate has been in the same stage for let's say more than 3 days.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workable has significantly streamlined our hiring process by centralizing all candidate data in one place. This unified view has made it incredibly easy to track applicants, review resumes, and collaborate with the team.

One of the standout features is the ability to perform bulk actions, such as emailing multiple candidates or moving them through stages in one go—saving us hours of manual work. Additionally, the custom templates feature has been a game-changer for maintaining consistency in communication while tailoring messages to different roles or stages.

Overall, Workable has improved our recruiting efficiency and organization. Highly recommended for teams looking for a scalable, user-friendly ATS.

**What do you like best about Workable?**

From A to Z its intuitive. Starting from posting jobs, reviewing CVs, tagging hiring managers/members, comments, reviews, and so on . I don't need to explain it to people due to it being intuitive.
Drag and drop, profile upload accuracy. 
Templates to use for interviews, jds, etc.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

Sometimes the AI suggested profiles are not the most accurate ones (maybe I need to figure it out more). Also I had a localization issue once when posting jobs within a country starting with Republic of , and it took another country with same starting name. But they fixed it and it was due to some google maps API as far as I recall. 
It can be challenging at times to make hiring managers use it on their own, review CVs and kinda make it a past practice.
Searching through past/archived jobs  and older candidates could be improved with some new filters.

It provides a all in one solution that helps me do a better job as a Talent Acquisition Specialist. Upload and source candidates, create job descriptions, schedule interviews and calendar sync with hiring managers. Comments, evaluations, feedbacks. Its easy to keep track of what's in the pipeline and its status.

Its well organiced specialy to create integrated workflows in order to streamline process specialy if you work a part of a big team.

It could be more intuitive regarding the steps to follow wile traying to create things like reports, or sometimes can be a little complicated to fin the specific way to change thigs that have been established in the workflows.

its an easy an integrated way to to create job ads and share them, being able to upload the information required, create or use exiting workflows and be able to review everything and the specic places were is going to be shared like LinkedIn is  very beneficial.

The interface is user-friendly, which reduces the learning curve for new team members and allows us to collaborate efficiently across teams. It’s especially helpful for maintaining a clear overview of where each candidate stands in the process.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

While the platform is undeniably helpful, the pricing is relatively high (it increased significantly with a higher headcount this year) —especially considering that we don’t use all of the available features. For smaller teams or companies with a more streamlined hiring process, it may feel like you're paying for more than you need. It would be great to have more flexible pricing based on actual usage or modular features.

Disorganized Hiring Processes:
Before using Workable, tracking candidates across spreadsheets, email threads, and calendar invites can lead to inefficiencies and missed opportunities. Workable centralizes the entire recruitment process—from job posting to offer—into one platform.

Lack of Collaboration Across Teams:
Hiring often involves multiple stakeholders, and without a shared system, it’s easy for feedback and decisions to get lost. Workable enables seamless collaboration between HR, hiring managers, and interviewers, with everyone able to leave comments and access the same information in real time.

Limited Candidate Reach:
Posting to multiple job boards manually is time-consuming. Workable streamlines this by distributing job ads across various platforms with one click, increasing visibility and attracting more applicants without extra admin work.

Workable is a user-friendly ATS that makes the entire recruitment process more streamlined and collaborative. I find Workable indispensable for our recruitment process. It enables efficient candidate tracking, ensuring no one is overlooked and helping manage recruitment stages seamlessly. I appreciate the requisitions and hiring plan features and find the reports helpful most of the time. Additionally, the guided onboarding made the transition much easier and customer service stands out as excellent support.

- UX - it's very easy to use, and requires minimal to no training for new recruiters or hiring managers.
-Easy collaboration with the hiring team

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

- Sending e-offers: requires editing on google docs/word and then uploading the template through Settings. In case you need to make any change to the template, you have to edit it again from google docs/word, downloading and re-upload it in Workable settings.
-Workable - LI intergration for job posting: everytime we post a job on LI Recruiter through Workable, the formatting gets messed up and we manually have to fix it from LI Jobs.

**What do you like best about Workable?**

It's pretty easy to use and I appreciate that in integrates with Outlook and Zoom. I also like setting up automations and templates. We use it for all our job postings.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

The Zoom integration is great but I wish more of Zoom's meeting features could be customized through Workable. We also from time to time have an issue with people on our team's Outlook connections coming undone and needing to be repaired.

Streamlining applicant management and allowing for mass communication with groups of applicants. It also makes scheduling with candidates so much easier and cuts down back and forth emailing.

**What do you like best about Workable?**

I have been able to identify potential candidates, reach out, and move them through our hiring process with ease.  The website is easy to use and it is easy to move applicants through the process to reaching out and/or moving forward. It is a pretty streamlined process. It was simple to implement at start-up and I am able to integrate jobs to my website with just checking off a simple selection.  Customer support is exceptional.  They always answer my questions via email within 24 hours.  Very pleased with the quality of applicants.  So much better than some of the well advertised recruiting platforms out there.  The price for a year subscription is a total steal.

I have no issues , or problems with Workable.

What I like best is the ability to filter candidates out based on them fulfilling certain criteria I have set for the job posting. I also like how easy it is to review applications and then post evaluations.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

I dislike the 'rating' system which rates candidates out of 100, since it's rarely accurate.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's made my recruitment workflow much easier. I can review all applications in one place, auto-reject/auto-filter-out applicants, etc. I can also communicate my thoughts to the rest of my teams in a fast manner that's easy to cross-reference with the candidate's background and the thoughts of other team members.

customisable questions for filtering, search functionality for finding candidates, AI functions that support the hiring process and the support team are really helpful & responsive.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

Data protection removal of candidates, whilst this is set by our security controller it would be better if we could retrieve the data in the same way we find a candidate, just a simple search and click to retrieve older records.

It keeps all my candidates where i need them, it helps me manage all the new requirements from the business and it's super easy to use which makes the aforementioned so much easier.

**What do you like best about Workable?**

Workable is an easy to use ATS with everything you need as a recruiter to be efficient and thorough in a recruitment process. It is a simplified ATS that does not have unnecessary Add Ons to overcomplicate a recruitment process. Any user who logins in for the first time can navigate the platform quite effortlessly without training.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

The only downside I have seen so far is the limitations to scorecards. While you can customize them and I do on the daily for all my open reqs, it is very generic in terms of its evaluation criteria.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workable is helping me streamline all my recruitment tasks in one place. I am no longer wasting my time jumping between tools and instead am utilizing all possible integrations to help create more efficiency in my process for hiring managers, interviewers, and candidates.

My favourite thing about Workable is that it is so easy to use, which makes it a lot easier for me to educate our hiring managers on the platform and also ensure that best practice is followed throughout our recruitment process.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

There is nothing really that comes to mind, but sometimes I find that the Workable extension for sourcing candidates via LinkedIn doesn't work smoothly.

Workable allows us to keep all recruitment materials and candidate tracking in one place, as well as the opportunity for all people involved in the recruitment process to view each others notes.

I love that Workable helps to organize all the incoming resumes from many different hiring sites.  The information is laid out in a very organized manner and is very easy to access and it is easy for others within my company to know what action has been taken in regards to a specific candidate.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

I'd like to have the ability to set up different hiring categories within a specific job. Such as hiring for a software developer, but I think candidate A would work best for job opening number 1, whereas candidate B's skills would best align with job 2.

Workable has helped us by streamlining our hiring processes.  It allows us to move through the process efficiently. We have been able to curate a platform that works for our current needs.

- Difficult to speak to integration team when changes required, have had slight issues integrating data across to HRIS for example

Workable is our full ATS so manages jobs, requisition and sign off and candidate management. It integrates brilliantly with our system for background checks and integrates well enough with our HRIS.

It is not intuitive. So many clicks to where you need to get / retrieve info. Job vs Hiring plan - often a misalignment and not as easy to nav between the two.
When reviewing a candidate when they've applied to multiple roles, it is challenging navigating between the two to see the relevant details.
Can we have a simple accurate date stamp vs "2months ago"? When I quickly want to see when X happened, I am looking for a specific date, not an approximate time frame.

Workable has an extensive list of job boards that they have access to. The price for their products and services are great. Very competitive amongst the other ATSs.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

Their customer service is horrible. My account got "banned" because I was recuiting too much. There was no one to speak to. I reached out to their customer service department numerous times and the ONLY (one) response was pointing to their 3.3 article under their terms and conditions; which pretty much states that they can refuse service to anyone they chose to.

There was no warning, no "hey, you are doing something that violates our terms and conditions." Furthermore, there wasn't an appeal process that you can go through to make sure your account can still remain active. I have worked with various other ATS's before, and all of them will let you know what is acceptable and not and give you a warning so you can correct it (if you have violated anything in their terms and conditions). THIS one, nothing, just straight ban your account just because they feel like it. After they ban it, there are no further communication, they will not respond to emails or requests for appeals or review.

I liked that it was an friendly sort of "all in one" solution. We were able to build large talent communities, keep in touch with them and structure and tag candidates as we needed for our very complex type of business.
The hiring pipeline was very straightforward too, I like that we can communicate through the tool, send and sign documents through it and also keep a history of each candidate so we can be aware of past red flags.
Integration with a bunch of online job board is great too

I think it would help if it featured some additional tools to manage temp workers and freelancers.

I like how user friendly it is - and how easy it is to collaborate with a hiring team (including managers for reviewing profiles and sharing their feedback/notes).

The customer support - We've had over 5 account manager changes and each time the change was never communicated and I would only find out when I wrote to them asking for support, realizing that I needed to go through the main ticketing system to talk to someone. Even throughout our recent renewal (less than 2 months ago) we ran into a lot of support issues again.

Workable is helping us to post to various job boards and collect applicants. It also provides useful filters when going through applicants. The AI functionality needs to be improved.

Clean software, works across my devices' web browsers, I can operate it easily as the CEO without needing to contact their support people or read their manual. Doesn't cram too many features into the GUI, it's the right mix for a 100-person company.

The few times I've contact customer support they've always been fast and friendly.

Mobile app is limited compared to web version.

The way workable allows large amounts of hiring managers to have access to tools and candidate profiles has changed everything for us. Being a slim recruitment team at a nonprofit, being able to see everything that HMs do has been crucial. Since we have so many non-recruiters in the system, workable being so user-friendly for those who have not been in an ATS before has made our structure possible and sustainable.

Right now, the only downside is the lack of visibility to see when you opened and closed a job.

Workable is really easy to use and intuitive, even for new team members. The email automations save a lot of time in the recruitment process, and the customer service team is genuinely responsive — they always come back quickly when we raise an issue or question.

There are a few limitations when it comes to customising workflows and permissions, and occasionally reporting can feel a bit rigid. But overall, nothing that significantly impacts day-to-day use.

Robust features: From customizable pipelines to AI-powered candidate sourcing, Workable combines automation with flexibility. The integrations with job boards, calendars, and HR tools save us hours each week.

Collaboration tools: Hiring is a team effort, and Workable makes it easy. Everyone involved can leave comments, score candidates, and stay updated in real time.

Analytics & reporting: Insightful dashboards help us track time-to-hire, source effectiveness, and other key metrics to continuously improve our process.

**What do you like best about Workable?**

It’s easy to track each candidate in Workable, even if they applied multiple times over a longer period. You always have access to their full history, including previous applications, internal comments, and communication, which makes it seamless to follow up or continue the conversation without losing context.

The platform offers a very intuitive and well-organized interface, along with useful automation tools and templates that help streamline repetitive tasks and save time. Features such as AI-powered job description writing and AI-powered resume screening demonstrate Workable's commitment to leveraging modern technologies, including AI.

I particularly value the integration with LinkedIn, which allows for direct posting to job listings, as well as automatic distribution to free job boards, which significantly extends reach with minimal effort.

Beyond recruitment, Workable has also introduced features for onboarding, performance reviews, time-off tracking, etc. While I’ve only tested these lightly, I'd like to admit their long-term commitment to the platform's development and improvement. 

The reporting tools are strong — you can quickly generate and export reports at any time, whether for individual job openings or across the whole hiring pipeline.

Lastly, their support team is great: quick to respond and proactive. I also appreciate that they hold feedback sessions with users and actually act on suggestions, which shows in how the platform continues to evolve.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

The AI-powered CV screening tool doesn’t always surface relevant results. 
Another one is Zoom integration instability. We’ve often run into issues scheduling calls via Workable’s Zoom integration when booking on someone else’s behalf. It frequently requires reauthorizing the connection between Zoom and Workable, which disrupts scheduling workflows.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Workable helps in maintaining clear visibility into the full lifecycle of a candidate, even across multiple job applications and long timeframes. The platform also simplifies collaboration across the hiring team with shared scorecards, templates, and centralized communication threads, which reduces the risk of missed context and inconsistent evaluation. Tools like automated emails, interview scheduling, and LinkedIn job posting help save time and streamline the operational side of recruitment.
Additionally, Workable’s built-in reporting tools allow us to quickly pull data on open and closed positions, which is key for tracking hiring trends and checking the progress/doing retros. The AI features (like job description generation and CV scoring) are promising steps toward improving speed and efficiency in early-stage candidate screening.
