The ease of use and features of the platform -> very user-friendly and intuitive.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

It was a bit hard at the begging to get used with all the features -> nut it was mainly because I didn't use this type of platform before

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Centralizing all the candidates ->  easier to group them with hashtags, for example
Mass answers to a group of candidates -> before the platform we were unable to give answers to all of the aplicants.

Clear pipeline, intuitive design, great timeline of communication with a candidate, handy interview kits and score cards, posting to job boards and many more.

Some features that get introduced over the time as Add-Ons cost quite a penny, but again they bring additional value to your hiring process

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

With more and more positions to close from year to year Workable answers our hiring needs at all levels — whether it's a strategic view on how business is doing with all vacancies, structured reports, visually clear piplines, or it's an intuitive process for hiring managers when guiding candidates through stages (we love that we can customize pipelines for various posiitions as well), or sourcing and reachout to multiple candidates at a time. 
We've been able to save time for our hiring managers with automated templates, video interviews, smooth integration with BambooHR when someone gets hired and many more useful features.

Workable's platform is intuitive and easy to launch for new hiring manager team members without detailed training.

I think there can be improvements to the interface with the interview guides. That part is not logical as to how you attach it to the job.

Using the interview scorecard and attaching it to a job is not intuitive. Be sure to have the Workable team show you how to do that.

Workable has enabled us to navigate away from painful spreadsheets and collaborate as a distributed team in a more functional way.

With Workable, I have access to a wide pool of candidates, which makes the entire hiring process organized and easier. And I am able to work across team members working on the open positions with ease.

Cannot do face-to-face interviews? No problem, with Workable's video interviewing, you can customize interviews and ensure consistency across all candidates!

@mention feature, setting up interviews, chatbot feature with support technicians, thorough follow-up by support technicians, ease of use, easy follow-up, job posting published feature is awesome! Evaluation on the tool is a good feature. Limited user access. Jobs can be internal as well. Recruiters, managers, HR, everyone likes the tool.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

Reporting feature: need more customized reports, people search: need more features like (not just the title, required skill set/type of employment/number of years experience...) AI recruiter needs update, many are not even open in the job market. Cannot add more than 1 resume under profile, or add other documents like work permit or DL on profiles.

**Recommendations to others considering Workable:**

Highly recommend Workable to anyone looking for a new ATS.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The Talent Acquisition process runs smoothly. Attention is drawn to profiles by the @mention feature. Recommending it for our Offshore office as well. Management likes the tool and appreciates the ease of use.

**What do you like best about Workable?**

Integration with background checks (we use Checkr) and recruiting platforms to post jobs to multiple job boards all at once. Very efficient in tracking the candidate throughout the process especially now that we are working remotely.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

It would be nice if it integrated with our payroll software, Paylocity, to help setup candidates in the onboarding module. We have to do that manually, which is kind of a bummer since all of the information is within Workable and should be able to flow over with an API integration. But really that's just nit-picky. We are also a smaller organization so it is a bit too robust for our needs right now.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have been able to streamline our candidate process from job board posting, to first screens, all the way to sending offer letters. It has really helped keep us organized and consistent where it was up to each department before. Great tool!

**What do you like best about Workable?**

The system is relatively easy to use, there's logic to the steps and the stages. Calendar invite/email features work well. Ease of shifting candidates from stages or to other Reqs is relatively easy as well.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

There are a few "little" things that would ne nice to haves be able to change.
 I'd like to be able to update calendar/call templates, or be able to attach a document to a Requisition, not just a candidate.
Would also be nice to edit system settings so that evaluations don't also require a comment in order to be saved.

There are a few things like that that would be "nice" simple additions that would make my rating a 10.

Keeping track of candidates and requisitions has been good, also getting buy in from hiring managers to get into the system to support their hiring processes has been easier with the system than with systems i've used in the past.

**What do you like best about Workable?**

Resume/attachment dropping for immediate download and access by all parties is great.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

I think notifications and reminders for new comments or updates in Workable could be improved. In addition to just comments sections on candidate profiles, a section exclusively for meeting invitations could be very valuable going forward. I would also like to see a chat feature something similar to Facebook Messenger or Linkedin chat if possible. There are also some bugs that could be addressed: the resume scrapping for information based on name, online profiles, social media etc. does not always work - specifically the image being pulled from online. Some of my candidates have images and some of them appear as gray silhouettes instead. My clients tend to review and interact with the candidates that have more information taken from online and tend to partially ignore the candidates whose names are pulled incorrectly and whose images are not generated correctly. As a result, this can occasionally give certain individuals an unfair advantage over other candidates which creates issues with equity. I think if I were to do it differently, all candidates would require a photo (if they have a Linkedin) and proper associated information, or alternatively none of them could to keep an even playing field.

Make the most of the comments section and the resume/attachment drop feature - it's easy to miss out on aspects of the platform b/c even used in it's most basic function is particularly effective

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Through Workable I have a far more streamlined experience with my clients - transparency and easy communication channels are my highlights. I also love the secure communication between myself and my contact at our client company, whilst not allowing candidates to view certain comments or feedback unless they are allowed in certain settings.

Relatively easy to use, able to drag and drop resumes into Talent Pool and will gather all the data, managing conversation between the candidate and the hiring manager, easy way of identifying whether or not to move candidates into the next stage of the process. Definitely like that it displays the candidate's information when they applied

Occasionally, I noticed that the server can be slow and may experience some glitches.

Posts to all the top job sites, see tons of qualified applicants.  It's easy to see contact details, manage conversations, and set up meetings.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

It could have better labeling for candidate skills to do comparisons.  For example, if you have several key skills and preferred skills, seeing who has what and to what level of proficiency would be great.  I ended up tracking that myself in a separate document.  Also being able to add interview feedback in a view where you can easily see comparisons would be nice.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trying to hire the right people, quickly and fairly.  We posted to a ton of job sites quickly and found good people in a relatively short amount of time.

Workable is versy helpful in my organization because it allows us to engage better managers outside HR Dept. in the recruitment process and keep track of it.

That I have to check for GDPR compliance and delete old CVs.

Things are running faster because the pool is significantly bigger and more qualitative, everyone has access in the process at any point, so less wasted time in emails and calls.

The intuitive and usable nature of the product is what made this a different experience.  We have been more easily able to share and adopt the platform.  I like the fact that it has opened up our team to seveal other platforms to improve the overall onboarding pipeline.

Only thing is the self selected calendar invite - Would like to have this streamlined a bit further / made easier. If I were to pick one more I would say having the integrations work even more seemlessly for our particular HR platform but we are continuing to improve over time.

We are able to reduce our steps required to hire candidates.  We have had positive feedback around seeing reviews and integrating with email / scheduling.  The main benefit is finding great people faster.

It is very easy to follow the timeline and analyze the candidate's experience, CV, and comments from other people

The UI is a little old. It would be good to have a UI rebump. It would be good that it has embedded a spreadsheet with Questions and Answers from the interviewers where we can upload a template of questions and take notes of the answers the candidate gives.

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Handling the interview process for hiring people. It's easy to share the workstream between the HR department and the Hiring managers or other people involved in the process. It's much better to use a tool than to share all the information through Slack, emails or a spreadsheet.

Workable is incredibly user friendly for supervisors and managers to use when reviewing resumes in the hiring process. It makes it incredibly easy to sort qualified candidates and move them to the next step of the interview process. Would definitely recommend.

No complaints so far/there is nothing I dislike about using workable.

Workable has made it much easier to review candidates for multiple positions and keep it organized. We also receive resumes much more quickly than we used to.

It's pretty straightforward on how to use, clean GUI, having everything in one spot to give feedback after interviews is nice.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

I was part of an interview and I know the applicant was in the interviewee pool but when I tried to find the applicant, it would say applicant was not in the database. It should have just said I didn't have sufficient permission to review said applicant (I was not put in Workable as a valid reviewer).

Being able to review all the applicants in one spot, seeing resumes in one place, vs emails.

Emailing a resume to create a profile

Organizes comments and feedback all in one place.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

Lacks resume review view or tools that can be used to quickly pick the best candidates from 100s.

Needs to mine the key features from resumes like, precious employers/titles, schools, location, gender, graduation year etc. so that I can then look at a table view and filter for the candidates that are most appropriate. Right now I have to click on each resume individually and read it. This is archaic. The tech is available.

Ok so if that’s too hard, why not at least let me search the content of all of my resumes. “As a user I want to be able to search for anyone that worked at McKinsey” - key word search McKinsey. 

Let me create alerts, “mark a user that worked at McKinsey, or went to Harvard, just applied” “mark a female with 5 years of project manager experience just applied” 

Then let me access all of these fields through your API, so that I can create my own alerts or whatever. If you would just make the resume text string available then we could mine it ourselves.

**What do you like best about Workable?**

Workable allows for really efficient review of resumes with all the features a hiring manager might want - a quick yes/no, a way to provide comments, a way to tag colleagues, different stages and categories for applicants. As someone that's not in HR, I've always found it super easy to use and a real value add for the hiring process.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

The search feature is a bit lacking - I use tags for applicants in my comments, but I'm not able to search for those particular tags within a large pool of  candidates. That would be helpful!

**What problems is Workable solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For me, the biggest benefit of Workable is just keeping everything organized and in one place. Even communication with candidates is contained within the platform. I am not part of the recruitment process, so I don't know if this is unique to Workable, but I know we've had a lot of success with being able to share the job across many job boards at once.

At times the interface was a little confusing to me. Almost redundant but honestly I have found very little to dislike.

The status workflow.  I can quickly review candidates to see if their skills and experience are a match.  We share candidates between hiring leads and can see the comments left on each candidate.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

The candidate's application page has a lot of information (that's good) which means there is a shortage of real estate on that screen.  It makes it a little hard to navigate.

Central location for candidate applications that is shared with multiple hiring leads.

Having visibility to all roles being recruited across functions and the ability to see progress in moving candidates through the pipeline. Ability to move candidates seamlessly between roles if a candidate is a better fit in a position that differs from their chosen role. Finally, the different ways in which you can rate and provide feedback on candidates and keep the comment trail and correspondence organized.

**What do you like best about Workable?**

Simple, easy candidate experience in applying. Integration with HRIS, video interviews, testing. Workable seems to be constantly improving and adding features. Workable also listens to us as customers for new features and desires for product improvement. Several things we have requested have come to fruition over the last few years. Workable seems to be constantly reviewing the market and competitors to see what features are most useful and needed from customers. Our account managers have always been responsive to us and open, and willing to share feedback with the product team and set up collaborations. The self-schedule feature for interviews and phone screens is a HUGE time saver for our hiring managers and our recruiters. Many applicant tracking systems don't have that feature integrated directly into the system like Workable does. We have considered switching applicant tracking systems in the past but the self-schedule feature is a big deal for us and has contributed to us staying with Workable for the past 5 years. We have grown with Workable over the years and are excited for the features to come.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

Workable lacks OFCCP compliance in resume searches, could have more robust report features. Custom reports are only available by add-on and take several days to a week or more to create. The canned reports are useful but don't cover all aspects of reporting that we require monthly, quarterly, or annually. Workable could be more robust in its account types and ability to customize certain permissions. Some of the job features aren't applicable to us and can't be manipulated to our use. We have let our account managers know about these features and some issues have been solved in the past but others still remain to date. We do believe that Workable has an interest to improve these things and anticipate integrations over the next few quarters.

Candidate experience is seamless and simple. Working on other integration features, have recently integrated candidate texting. Have tested Workable integrations with testing features. Benefits of collaborative and open staff/account managers.

Workable is extremely user friendly and the technology is easy to learn. At our company, hiring managers are heavily involved in the recruitment process. Workable allows the HR team to have extreme oversight over the hiring managers and the system makes it easy to stay organized. Workable is also competitively priced.

There are a lot of features within Workable that have helped our business solve problems. The sourced feature uses technology to source candidates that have not applied to the position, but seem to be a good fit. This allows us to have a larger candidate pool without adding additional time. The templates are also extremely useful and easy to set up. Workable comes with a slew of templates and you are able to edit and create new ones according to your business needs.

As an outsourcing business with over 100+ clients where a core part of our business is recruitment on behalf of our clients, we were looking for a platform that was easy to use, intuitive, and which our clients could be exposed to without the need for training.   Workable's interface is it's strong selling point, which makes it easy to use, and extremely intuitive, meaning a client hiring manager can jump in and be effective with limited direction.  It has become an integral part of our business, and a key differentiator.

It would be great to be able to skin (brand) it ourselves!  However, not really much to dislike with Workable.

The learning curve is fast, so get on with it.

Prior, everything was by email, which meant there was no central repository, and we were often lost as to what had been agreed.  Workable provides us with a fantastic central repository which has become part of our business interface.  We share Workable with our clients, and so it has become an essential part of our service delivery.

There are a lot of unqualified candidates. If Workable good scan the resumes and match with the job descriptions, that would be super helpful. Given we haven't had a system like this prior to Workable, it definitely is a step in the right direction.

Amazing, intuitive UX. Everything just seems to be where you expect it. The whole team really likes it and there was very little learning needed.

There could be a better integration with external services eg. Linkedin on the applicants side. I would expect to be able to just submit Linkedin, maybe Dribbble (designers), Github links and apply for a job.

The stages of each process and that I am able to choose them. Able to tag any team member involved in the recruitment process, and also that I can see the evaluations of other team members. I really like that the candidates are able to write down like a brief resume about themselves.  Looking forward to improve our internal recruitment and hiring process. Love that we can see all the resumes of every candidate and even know if they have apply to any other positions published in the past.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

I havent discover how to filter by gender or salary. If its possible I would like to have a training is these parts so I can fully enjoy this platform and excel on my performance and improve the service I give to my internal and external clients.  Right now I'm not disliking nothing, I'm in the process of getting to know Workable, so probably in the end I will like it and get along with it.

**What do you like best about Workable?**

The email integration and the User Experience are really nice. I really like how easy it is to find old candidates. I also really like how you can integrate templates and change them pretty easily. I like that workable also shows you places that your candidate shows up throughout the internet. Some of the metrics, like the sourcing metric and current pipeline are very helpful.

The most helpful thing about Workable is the customer service team: They are always available to help answer questions when I have them. I have spoken to several members of the team and they always go above and beyond to help me out, even hopping on a Zoom call.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

Sometimes it lags and I don't like that I can't change the Workflows/Hiring Processes by myself. I also think there should be more metrics available. For example, a metric that shows you how many responses you get from sourced candidates and also shows you when candidates typically get rejected AFTER the application stage. Right now it just says "moved forward".

I also think more insight when it comes to pipeline. If they had metrics that showed comparative time to hires for similar industries or companies it would help us to be more competitive and help the market overall to give candidates a better experience.

It's a great product! I think that overall it's heading in the right direction.

Problems solving with Workable : Super easy to find old candidates and to source through old pipelines. I like that there is a way to search through old candidates and see if they can be good for other roles.

When choosing what ATS to use we tried over 6 different high end ATS. At the end it was between Lever and Workable.
We went with workable since it better fit where we are as a company - experiencing high growth, volume recruitment and many new managers. We wanted a tool that accommodated our needs:
- Easy to use tool
- Great referral platform
- Easy to read and extract data
- Best customer support / CSM.

Furthermore, they are a constantly evolving tool with a very user centric focus. The product team listens and takes input from their customers and they are continuously releasing new features.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

- They can definitely improve the CV screening feature. When having 100+ applicants you want a tool where you with as few clicks as possible can get an overview of the CV and application. This is not the case. You have to scroll down to see the CV, the application letter is in a "text format" and not able to upload in the same way as the CV. The screening questions are at the bottom of the page as well.

- They don't have the option to schedule email send outs. 

- Extra admin work when scheduling a Teams meeting since they don't have a integration to Microsoft Teams. 

From what I know at least 2 of the three points are under development to be improved and implemented!

**Recommendations to others considering Workable:**

Like recruitment, when choosing a new ATS you have to set the requirements. There are so many great tools out there and it is easy to get lost in the process of picking a new one. If you are a company that is experiencing high growth and maybe even in the start of your internal TA function than this is definitely the tool to choose!

Easy to get the managers up an running with the tool.
Referrals(which are a big source of candidates for us) have increased massively.
 Increase of applicants since adverts are published on several local sites.

**What do you like best about Workable?**

As a HR personnel who looks after the full recruitment cycle for a small company, Workable helps me save tremendously and in a very professional manner:
- Sync with my company email (we use Google suite - so it's really convenient); I'm not sure for the case of private company email domains, but I do see Workable updating its integration list from time to time
- Pushing job postings and then collating all applications/ emails from 10 free websites in one place, by posting. Before I had this, we manually tracked candidates pipeline by creating shared Excel files, and constantly update status after replying candidates' emails. You can imagine the pain if you have 10 open positions at different stages, with different assessment process, and that you need to coordinate with different managers - you can handle a few but definitely it won't be scalable. Thanks to Workable, I am able to manage both recruitment and other HR functions. 
- Candidate management - by matching email addresses, the platform is also able to let me know if certain candidates have applied in the past, and with a click I can the applicant's past application, including communication trail. In such cases, it gave me a side story about the candidate that doesn't appear on resume - Super helpful!
- Resume parsing - there's no guarantee it's 100% accurate, but it's pretty good so far. My previous manual Excel file system requires tons of manual data entry from candidates' resume, which feels like a waste of time many times
- They also have candidate suggestion function, where they suggest profiles that they have based on your posting. Our package has limited slots yearly so I use it when it's hard to find candidates for some niche position. I wouldn't say it's the best platform to look for such candidates - as this is definitely not Workable's strength, but it does come handy.

**What do you dislike about Workable?**

Of course there are glitches here and there, but I would say they are performance issues and won't say there's anything I dislike about it as a platform.
One thing that irks me though: They rolled out a video interview function (which I thought was a great idea) a few months back and they offered a 3-month trial for current customers (hooray). However, when I tried it out, there was a bug and the customer support agent came in saying they're working on a resolution. More than 3 months past and I have not heard back from them since. Still not sure if it's working now, and without saying I never got to try the video interview during I do think they need to manage their support function better to tie up loose ends and not leave customers hanging.

Workable is extremely user friendly platform. Designed very intuitively to be used by recruiters and hiring managers. Provides candidate search options, also AI prompts and reporting tools. Ads are spread to free job boards. Has the possibility to integrate with Google meet and Zoom. 
Last but not least support team always react very fast to inquiries.

Well, sometimes the People search option provides LinkedIN profiles which are not updated or the emails associated with them are not correct/active anymore.

This program allows you to keep all of your candidates organized and it makes follow up very easy. They are constantly looking for ways to make the program better and more integrated. This program has made it to where I can get twice as much done each day as I used to.
