**What do you like best about Spark Hire?**

The platform is straightforward to use and gives timely updates when it's time to interview a candidate.  As a participating party in the interview process, I get notified when a demo is about to start and reminded to provide feedback shortly after an interview ends.  I can quickly review the candidate's resume, pull up a list of standard interview questions for the position at hand, and easily see other interviewer notes in a simple-to-navigate interface.  It's truly been a gamechanger in how we interview and manage candidates.

**What do you dislike about Spark Hire?**

As a user and not a platform admin, I have nothing negative to say.  It does everything I need it to and makes the ordinarily painful process of documenting results extremely easy.

**What problems is Spark Hire solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Comeet primarily for tracking and managing the interview process.

**What do you like best about Spark Hire?**

The tool is easy to use and answers our needs for admissions and recruitment. They listened to our requirements and offered a solution that fits and is within our budget. Moreover, the SparkHire team listens to your feedback that they have never stopped improving their technology. While any company, new or existing, can come up with a solution that could compete with it, what sets SparkHire apart is the people behind it - the management, sales, technical and customer success teams - excellent customer service they've rendered from the moment we got on board.

**What do you dislike about Spark Hire?**

So far, none. But I am very comfortable in sharing with the team feedback from our users (interviewees), which they have been proactive in responding and providing solutions or exploring options to improve the technology.

**What problems is Spark Hire solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Improving our admissions and recruitment process for the PhD programme. It adds value to our recruitment process.

The software is very intuitive.  If I ever have a question, the customer service team is right on it.  They work hard at keeping us up to date on any upgrades.  Great program!

I have no dislikes, I learned to use the software quickly and it is very predictable.

Start with the small package.  Then when you see how well it works, you can upgrade easily.

Especially with the pandemic and social distancing, it has been great.  But, I find that we are seeing a larger group of people because of how easy it is to set up interviews.

CoMeet helped us stay organized with many jobs and applicants.  It was easy to post jobs and set up hiring steps between a team.

**What do you dislike about Spark Hire?**

Doesn't give much flexibility in how much you spend on sponsored jobs.

**What problems is Spark Hire solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Posting jobs to multiple job boards automatically, managing many candidates and making communication easier.  The benefits are saving time and getting more hires.

**What do you like best about Spark Hire?**

The system itself is super user-friendly, but it goes beyond that. We were seeking a way to get a larger candidate pool through our process by not only capturing those who test well but also those who don't but might be a great culture fit. The one-way video interviews with Spark Hire have allowed us the freedom to do so and be able to capture a quick character assessment so we can go beyond the resume prior to live interviews, which has made a significant difference and proven that by using this platform we are able to bring in high-quality candidates that otherwise would have been filtered out by other parameters. The customer service is top-notch too, super-fast turnaround and extremely friendly.

**What do you dislike about Spark Hire?**

I think there are some kinks that could be worked out, but understand that there are growing pains in any new platform. The account reps are very receptive to feedback and make sure to submit any requests to the development team in case it is something that might be possible.

**What problems is Spark Hire solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Trying to work through our needs with the advanced share links, but we have been able to find a work-around for now. The quality of our candidate pool has increased significantly since using Spark Hire.

I love the fact we are able to use this as a screening tool to decrease the candidate pool prior to conducting standard two-way interviews. Leaving us with more time.

I don't like that there isn't an email template that is within Spark Hire to send to our candidates but shows personalized from us besides the invitation sent out.

If yo have large candidate pools it really is an amazing screening tool to drill down applicants.

We are able to develop our questions for the in-person interviews based off the responses provided during the Spark Hire. It lets us know what we need to know next.

**What do you like best about Spark Hire?**

I like the ability of the comeet system to schedule meetings and easily communicate with HR, design a process of hiring and minimal amount of clicks. Reminders on candidate homework assignments.

**What do you dislike about Spark Hire?**

The system does pretty much what it is designed to do, so I don't have complaints.

**What problems is Spark Hire solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping track of lots of candidates can be mundane, the ability to comment on candidates and discuss progress with HR resolves a lot of emails and shotens the time HR and interviewers communicate with each other.
Also in the past I was working with worst type of products (in my previous firm), which did not have any abilities like: scheduling, easy communication with HR, and made the hiring process combersome.

**What do you like best about Spark Hire?**

I have been using Spark Hire for the past 2 years and my team members and I have saved hundreds of hours that we used to spend on phone screens.  Spark Hire allows you to create customized questions to best help the hiring managers evaluate candidates' experience.  Rather than a one-dimensional typed phone screen summary from an HR recruiter, the hiring manager and recruiter can view the candidate's responses and refer back to them if needed.

**What do you dislike about Spark Hire?**

I can't think of anything I dislike about Spark Hire.

**What problems is Spark Hire solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My company's Talent Acquisition team is able to fill positions more quickly, as we are not spending hours and hours on phone screens.  This frees up time for us to focus on sourcing candidates or other strategic projects.

I loved the ease of use. I always knew when I had a task that needed to be completed. As a hiring manager, it helped me to have a seamless interface with our internal recruiters and made me appreciate them so much because of how easy it was for me to find a great candidate and reject others.

The interview workflow wasn't as intuitive as I would have hoped but it was still easy to navigate.

It's simplifying the job of my recruiters so that they make my life easy and I don't feel like it's a huge burden to be extremely picky.

The integration with our job board subscriptions is convenient and time-saving. I like the comments or notes functionality for streamlined communication with decision-makers.

I really want to see an internal job board option/feature. We can post discreet jobs and restrict their visibility, why can't we use the same tech that publishes them externally and sends postings to a team member version of the careers page?

We're increasing visibility and communication across the hiring team. This helps with moving candidates through the workflow more quickly and improves our apply-to-hire metrics.

The interface looks great (both on the back end and from a candidate perspective) and is easy to use. I love the customization options for branding our company.

I wish they had a written response option rather than only video. That would be helpful with hiring for content positions.

Having a video interview platform reduces our recruitment team's candidate screening time significantly. It also helps us to gauge culture fit and gives candidates who have a poor resume a second chance.

**What do you like best about Spark Hire?**

I like the ease of using Spark Hire. I can send out a video link of new applicants to families who then can watch the videos at their leisure. No more trying to mesh up a family with an applicant only to find that we don't have a match! Also, no exposure to families or applicants who may potentially be carrying Covid-19. Spark Hire also helps me protect our participant's identities, since the participant and applicant aren't meeting face to face!

Nothing really comes to mind! There have been some nice improvements to Spark Hire this past year.

**What problems is Spark Hire solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I am solving the problem of sending my applicants out on several interviews until we find a participant match. Because I have to accompany my applicants to family interviews, this also saves me time and frees up my schedule. Families, applicants, participants, and I are all protected from repeated unnecessary exposure to one another as well which reduces our chances of contracting Covid-19.

Very robust set of features and the CS team is super accomodating to any extra requests. HIgh level of automation is possible and the templates are also very useful.

**What do you dislike about Spark Hire?**

Not much to dislike. The UX of the product is not super straightforward to a simple user so maybe the onboarding can be a little more self-serve focus, but the support team makes up for this.

I love the autonomy of the service. When working with our corps members we understand their busy schedules. Giving them the ability to complete on their own time has been a huge help!

We've been using SparkHire for well over a year and don't have any serious concerns or dislikes.

We looked at several platforms and I used a competitor of SparkHire at a past employer. Based on my experiences I would highly recommend SparkHire!

The system is easy to use. Allows you to adjust the various components (unlimited chances to submit, limits on response time, etc).  It is a great way to gain access to employees without tying up committees for hours.

**What do you dislike about Spark Hire?**

Some participants do not like the experience.  They would prefer to come in person to interview.  Some do not feel they are getting the full experience if the interview is done through sparkhire.

Give it a try!

Saving time, do not have to pull our committees together all the time.  Not limited by their schedules.  The ability to share and house interviews is excellent.  It also provides some insight into how tech savvy and creative candidates are.

SparkHire is a great way to do screening interviews. It allows me to see and hear candidates' motivation and experience, which is so much better than just a resume.

**What do you dislike about Spark Hire?**

There are no downsides that I can think of at this time, aside from that the platform does not work on mobile phone browsers and some candidates are reluctant to download the app.

**What do you like best about Spark Hire?**

Spark hire has driven incredible efficiency through our hiring process. We can see a lot more candidates without  hours of management time. The ability to go back and review the interviews later means you don't have to rely on your memory of a candidate. I'm one instance we hadn't shortlisted a candidate initially but after seeing a few more we went back and reviewed their video and invited them to the next stage... in the end we offered them the job and would have missed that opportunity without this platform.

Getting the quality and content of video right to promote our company takes time and effort that we haven't been resourced for. This hasn't stopped us recruiting effectively but we aren't using all of the functionality available to us yet.

I like the ability to easily keep track of past candidates and the ability to share videos easily with coworkers who are not directly involved in the recruiting process. Overall very satisfied with the system. Whenever I need help, my account manager is ready to answer questions or hop on a call.

**What do you dislike about Spark Hire?**

We're still looking for a couple of improvements from Sparkhire, particularly the ability to archive but not delete past applicants and an integration with Sparkhire's calendar and ours. Specifically, we need the ability to have holds placed on our calendars whenever a candidate asks for a live interview. Although an email is sent out whenever a request comes in, our calendars often fill up before we see the notice. Because of this, we usually will send over our calendly link to the candidate and end up holding the interview outside of Sparkhire. Improving the calendar integration and archive abilities are the next steps Sparkhire needs to take. I currently rated Sparkhire 8/10. Fixing these two issues would make it 10/10!

Sparkhire saves time in the recruiting process. If you need to narrow down a large number of applicants, you should check out Sparkhire.

We're able to share interviews with the group to better align on how we rate candidates. The video requirement has also helped us weed out candidates that are not fully interested in our program. This saves us a lot of time. Instead of ten 30-minute phone calls, we can watch five video interviews, sped up, for 30 minutes, and select the one or two candidates we'd like to talk to for longer.

- the UI elements are very samey - everything looks like a big old form

- User comments are sometimes hard to spot because of the UI sameyness
- in my organization, the platform does a really, really poor job at sending emails to users for events such as a new candidate being added. This is very counter-productive.

Difficulty with associated names entered and viewing scored interviews on one screen for all applicants.  i.e., all Admin position applicants' scores from the three-panel members should be visible on one screen.

Faster hiring from being able to quickly get to the top 1 - 5 applicants when we have 80 qualified applicants.  By selecting all applicants that seem to be in the top portion of the applicant pool, then sending the Spark Hire request to them.  The committee can then view this group without being together and get a lot of information from the video.  Therefore the committee meets less and can see more before the live interview even takes place.  Plus, with the Spark Hire question and answers, the committee can ask more follow-up or more profound questions in the live or in-person interview.

**What do you like best about Spark Hire?**

It is very user friendly and easy to set-up to create various interview types and also to share and collaborate on responses.

**What do you dislike about Spark Hire?**

I have not found anything that I dislike.

**What problems is Spark Hire solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Spark Hire allows us to get an initial preview of the candidate.  We know that candidates who complete the video interview are serious about being hired.
