**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

Seekout is helpful because it has so many options to really dive into finding the right candidates for opportunities. They offer multiple sourcing options from one platform. It saves time and also gives you the best candidates. The support group also goes above and beyond to help with questions or issues.

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

I have not experienced a dislike with Seekout.

We can dive into where candidates with specific skill sets are located to help us understand where we can better spend our time sourcing.

I would like to see their actual resume. So I can see their story.

**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

Intuitive, user friendly and different algorithm for boolean strings.

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

Integration with Gem is not as intuitive and reaching out is more cumbersome.

Increase talent pool with a different method of sourcing. Allows me to source from Github more easily.

**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

SeekOut gives us access to a huge talent pool of difficult to find tech talent. that isn't necessarily available on LI, by accessing different platforms such as GitHub. SeekOut also gives us access to this talent's personal email addresses so that we can reach out to them directly and are not restricted on numbers like we re on other platforms.

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

Having been a user for 2 months now, I can genuinely say there is nothing to dislike about this system, if we have any questions the support team get back to us very quickly to give us the answers

**What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The market for top tech talent globally is more competitive than it has ever been, SeekOut is a more effective way of identifying and reaching out to this talent than some of the more traditional methods.

Boolean searches, the settings for filtering out the specific candidates, very intuitive, easy to find internal candidates

User interphase could be better, some searches are confusing

SeekOut has some distinct features that other platforms cannot provide especially when looking for diversity candidates, AI matching and its incredible insights report that provide a high-level overview of what the market looks like

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

One room for improvement could be integrating similar profiles into one. For instance, if a candidate creates another profile, it is treated as a separate person

SeekOut continuously enhancing some features and I like the interface improvements so far as well as the functionality where you can share a project even to a non-license holder and brainstorm together

**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

Seekout is extremely versatile and gives you information about candidates which is difficult to find until you're connected with them. Managing projects, creating campaigns etc. is a very good feature offered by this tool.

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

Sometimes, I have found out the information not being very accurate. It does not integrate with ATS and i believe it's data needs to be updated timely to give the right information.

**What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Motive of seekout is to take talent strategy to the next level and that benefits Talent leaders a lot. Their usage of AI is also one of the versatile features as it improves efficiency.

**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

There are dozens of ways to slice and dice your data so that you can see a new talent pool each time. There are zero restraints like there are on other platforms.

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

Some people have no contact information, or the phone/email isn't current or accurate. This is rare though, typically there are multiple ways to reach out to each person in the talent pool.

**What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The main problem I had was understanding the multiple ways of running a search, the solution was a one-one collaborative sourcing session with my Client Success Manager, that has been so valuable to me.

**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

SeekOut is user friendly, has email campaign options and allows users to create projects for positions so you can add qualified candidates! This is not an option that some competitors offer.

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

I think that SeekOut should add a "US Citizen" power filter. There is a US Work Authorization filter, which is helpful, but many of the roles I am hiring for require US Citizenship, so this filter would help me weed out non citizens.

**What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SeekOut is helping me find qualified talent for my cleared and uncleared roles. The tool helps me keep track of candidates via project options, and I can set up email campaigns which saves me a lot of time in reaching out to candidates.

I like the functionality of Boolean strings and the account management team support best. The way I can build strings to identify different candidate pools is so helpful when sourcing.

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

I wouldn't say I like the amount of space taken up by already viewed candidates and the lack of function to ensure I don't run into the same candidates repeatedly.

SeekOut is solving the problem of identifying new top talent that I wouldn't typically access in the market. It allows me to reach new pools and build relationships.

**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

SeekOut contact information (phone numbers and emails) are the most accurate I have come across in 20 years of sourcing. I've used every sourcing tool available SeekOut is the most accurate. My response rates have increased by 30% via phone and text outreach. It's a very powerful tool. Additionally, the algorithms behind SeekOuts search tools are unique. I have discovered new and more diverse executive talent pools that were not discoverable on LinkedIn and other platforms; plus they show up in the first few pages of results.

I wish everyone had it! It's a major game changer!

The discovery of underrepresented talent in global markets is helping us to make more hires faster and to be more inclusive.

Sometimes Seekout does not find any contact information for candidates
When using the AI matching, it doesn't pull people in the geography listed.

Able to search for candidates and proactively reach out to those individuals regarding opportunities.

Highly recommended! The customer relations team is communicative, helpful, and always willing to answer any questions! They take time to ensure you truly understand how to use the tool! I highly recommend utilizing Seekout for your sourcing needs! I WISH this tool had existed when I first started recruiting over ten-years ago; it is a GAME CHANGER!

I used the market insights and diversity filters most often. This tool has a lot of reach and you can find many fantastic leads by using this tool across the world.

Seekout does not have a lot of flexibility with their packages. Our company struggled to negotiate a customised package with their team and we ended up needing to expand to other tools in order to make up for the lack of flexibility that Seekout offered.

Seekout covers a larger talent pool than any of the other tools we have used. We source and host events for diverse candidates across the globe and seekout really helps with that.

**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

I really love the fact that I'm able to find multiple social profiles when running a search, but the Diversity filter is really what sets it apart from others. I'm also very fond of the Github search feature.

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

My biggest challenge is getting excited about a potential candidate only to open up their LinkedIn profile and see that they've changed jobs recently (2-3 months prior).

Sometimes it becomes another tool to use, if the team has too many sourcing tools it can become a distraction to maintain and get proper usage from it, making it hard to measure ROI.

A few of my favorite parts about the SeekOut platform are:

1. We can target passive candidates who are not always on LinkedIn or other platforms.  

2. Customizable boolean strings & your customer success team can assist with building your customized strings to ensure you are reaching the best-fit candidate pools. 

3. Sharing projects of potential candidates with my Hiring Managers keeps the collaboration going.

4. The platform offers boolean searches already built for DE&I to make that a part of every search, if you choose.

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

I haven't run into anything that I dislike at this point. But, I know if I do, my fantastic Customer Success Team, Anna or Charles, will be right there to help.

Targeting our hard-to-fill Engineering roles by sourcing passive candidates and getting creative on how we reach out to engage them. We are hoping to see an uptake in qualified applicants.

I like all the filters available in Seek Out. This makes it so that it is much easier to narrow my pool to candidates best qualified for the position I am looking to fill.

There are so many features with Seek Out that at first, I was overwhelmed with all the options. Ultimately, these many features hone in on talent. It just takes more exposure and practice to become familiar with and comfortable using.

I like SeekOut's "Search" powerful algorithm which always pulls out unique candidates that I have not seen on other searches. I like the Power Filters which allow for laser focusing on candidates that fit your parameters. I also like the Clone feature which pulls candidates similar to a profile given and ability to search my database is great.

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

I am not crazy about the email or message functionality. Perhaps I do not know how to integrate it properly with my email. I like to do messaging within the website as LinkedIn does.

SeekOut is a cheaper alternative to Linkedin. When our company did not have a license I exclusively used SeekOut to source candidates. Great search tool

**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

I like the emails and contact information provided by the platform. That was the main point of using the platform for me. I didn't really maximize it for other things.

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

I didn't like how sometimes the Gmail addresses had (.) in their names but did not show on SeekOut. For example, my work email is daniel.do@okta.com and sometimes they would give me 2 emails like daniel.do@okta.com and also danieldo@okta.com, so I wouldn't know which one is accurate?

**What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I wish they advertised the other functions a little more? I didn't really source or use the platform to send emails? It seemed complicated? I am using Entelo and HireEZ for emails.

**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

I mostly used the research functions (market insights and various filters). I found it extremely intuitive to use. Furthermore, it is fast and makes the process of finding individual candidates or exploring the vast LinkedIn / Github dataset straightforward.

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

There was little to dislike about the experience! I think there are opportunities to further improve and streamline the user experience, but I find it hard to point at any specifics. Perhaps make it easier to build and apply tailored filters.

**What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is helping us understand the talent supply and composition across a host of European cities. We are able to drill down to profile and compare different talent hotspots.

**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

The features that I absolutely love are:
-Power filters, specifically, the ability to create/customize your own power filters. For example, working for a saas company, we have very specific saas companies that we consider so creating a power filter that includes these specific companies is a time saver. I can apply this power filter to any search as needed.
-"Sourcing maps" that are more robust than LinkedIn breakdowns.
-Ability to search internally within Github for tech roles.
-Ability to search for contact information.
-Integration with ATS and outreach software such as Gem although it has its own outreach capabilities.
-Next level boolean customization!
-Quick response rate to questions asked!

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

Not all contact information is correct, however, SeekOut makes it easy for us to inform them about bad profiles or bad contact information so that they can continue to refine their search results.

**Recommendations to others considering SeekOut:**

Well worth the investment and truly a game changer. Whether you are a boolean ninja or if you prefer filters, SeekOut supports both types of searches. Their customer support is quick and they are very helpful. The online articles and their ongoing training videos are also extremely helpful.

**What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Ability to find profiles that I cannot otherwise find using LinkedIn. Integration with outreach software to scale outreach efforts.

**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

SeekOut has amazing boolean support, allowing for complex strings with specialized characters to enhance search accuracy. It also has a nicely featured projects system and a fairly accurate email/phone number lookup algorithm.

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

The greatest issue is the timeline in which profiles, such as LinkedIn, are updated within SeekOut. At times candidates LinkedIn profiles could be up to 6 months behind in SeekOut what they actually are on LinkedIn.

**What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Isolating candidates that fall within very specific ranges, but allow for enough variance that a significant number of returns occur is the biggest issue. SeekOut does a good job of pooling the greatest candidates to the top of the list first, making it easier to find premium sources quicker.

I love that SeekOut integrates with my ATS and makes the export options seamless.

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

I currently don't like that I am unable to add ratings to candidates to be transferred to my ATS but it isn't the most inconvenient thing. Just tedious

**What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I love that SeekOut pulls people data from multiple resources and gives me the best contact information for candidates. Saves a ton of time on other tools.

**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

Easy to navigate! Also, brings high quality selection of candidates where you can play around and find alignment with the job description. Furthermore, there is diversity added to those searches, and you can always go back to your history search in case you haven't already saved it.

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

Sometimes I think it still manages to include a certain group of people more than others. Furthermore, I wish the FBR tool would poop up while sourcing. It will make it easier for me to see who's taken.

I am not sure what problems or issues they are trying to solve. But, I have been using Seekout for most of my sourcing time and I truly love it!

**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

I love the searching ability in Seekout, especially the power filters and diverse searches functionality. The github component is also awesome for finding qualified engineers.

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

Sometimes the Seekout profiles aren't up to date like a LinkedIn would be. For example a person may have switched job in the current month or previous month but seekout wouldn't reflect that. Not sure if they updated this, but it was like that in the summer.

**What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Finding the engineers that aren't on LinkedIn and also for more specific searches that require a myriad of different skills. Seekout is making it much easier and faster to find these engineers.

Able to cone candidates and also look for candidates on other sites. I also like the advanced filters, which help to narrow your search. The fact that you can make a project list and email candidates is very effective.

Not able to call candidates and get them.

**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

I love being able to search for diverse candidates and being able to get contact details (i.e. emails and phone numbers) which isn't available on other candidate search platforms.

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

It would be helpful if the language filter allowed me to search for candidates based on the language fluency (ie. Native vs. Full proficiency vs. intermediate etc.)

**What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Sourcing and finding a large pool of candidates that match the requirements of the diverse roles my company hires for.

**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

I like that I can search on multiple sources and not just LinkedIn (i.e. Github is a great addition to the tool). I also like that I can filter by different Inclusion criteria.

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

Here are some things that I do not love about the platform:
-Can’t add a candidate to a campaign directly from search page, need to open another tab in the project and add them
-Incorrect LinkedIn’s attached to candidate profiles
-Incorrect email addresses
-Sending messages only on weekdays, I basically need to create sequences for specific days of the week
- Location filters don’t always work (i.e. seeing people from UK in a USA search)
- Can’t say someone has responded manually (i.e. if they put time on my calendly but don’t physically respond to the email)

**What problems is SeekOut solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The biggest thing SeekOut solves for me is automating follow-ups to be honest. I prefer to search on LinkedIn Recruiter, I just wish the cadences of sequences and the searching was better/more accurate.

**What do you like best about SeekOut?**

SeekOut provides a lot of helpful and useful information when it comes to the candidate search for my roles. Whether it's contact info or skillsets, SeekOut does a good job of providing information for me. It's a great tool for diverse talent as well.

**What do you dislike about SeekOut?**

It has taken some time for me to toggle through all the functions and there are some areas that I'm not used to yet (AI matching, etc) but I feel like this will change into a more positive experience in the future once I get a better hang of SeekOut and how to use the tools

Set up time with a member of SeekOut's team to learn the tool in depth.
