**What do you like best about StaffCircle - Performance Management Platform?**

I like StaffCircle platform because it has a user-friendly interface which provides me a structured review. It has a goal tracking feature and has regular feedback which keeps the performance consistent and more meaningful than usual.

I dislike this application because it has a limited reporting feature. One more thing which is left is that it has only some fewer third-party integration access as compared to other platforms.

**What do you like best about StaffCircle - Performance Management Platform?**

Staff Circle has been easy to use and manage, with improvements coming all the time to make the system more user friendly.  We have 390 employees and the platform is able to tell us at a glance high achieve people through to underperforming staff - we're able to have multiple managers review an individual, which works for us as we share labour across the group.

**What do you dislike about StaffCircle - Performance Management Platform?**

Nothing so far, where we have had minor technical issues, these have been easily resolved with the technical team at Staff Circle, who are always quick to respond with clear instructions or Teams call and share how to fix the issue.

**What problems is StaffCircle - Performance Management Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Staff Circle was initially brought into create an employee appraisal system, we've completed our first year of appraisals and are just away to start our next wave of appraisals.

**What do you like best about StaffCircle - Performance Management Platform?**

i like the % scoring for the objectives, its a great way to track progress over a certian period of time. I never had any formal training but being in IT i have found the tool to be straight forward and its become a part of our everday line management duties. Anyone can update their objectives before a performance review including any processes or milestones which have been key to achieving their objective. The clone option for objects is great. i dont personally engage with support as this is managed by the HR team

**What do you dislike about StaffCircle - Performance Management Platform?**

I think historically it deel a bit sluggish and clunky. The UI was also terrible but seeing the changes made over the last 4 years have made it a lot more smoother.

**What problems is StaffCircle - Performance Management Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Its a great place to see when all my performance reviews are to be conducted by which means scheduling meetings with the team is in line with the dates that reocur. Paperless review's is great as it allows us save costs and work towards our carbon zero targets. The fact that the reviews and objectives can be easily maintianed, changed, updated or deleted is great and a real admin time saver

**What do you like best about StaffCircle - Performance Management Platform?**

I like that it is integrated into Teams, however the interaction and inforamtion taht you get and can get are limited to the online platform. Where as alot of companyies are now going for hte UC environment with Teams, teh more integration the better experience for the users. 

I do like the simplicity of it all, and navigation through it if you want to book days off or check latest news whats happening in the company.

I dont like that it doesnt block out the whole day in your diary like our previous tool. It just shows it at the top of the calendar day, So some silly people still go and try book in my diary. The AI aspect or bot section on Teams could have better instructions and commands that you can use. If it looked similar to the onlien version it would be so much better and woudl increase interacitons.

Rather than having multiple solutions, Staffcircle seems to combine 2 different solutions that we were using into one.  makes life easier when i need to use it.

It's always a pleasant surprise when you receive an email from 'Staff Circle'. To know that someone, somewhere, appreciated something you did, and took the time to document it. It only takes less that one minute to return the favour and make someone else's day - and it's free! Why not give it a go?

Also, as a fairly new member of staff to the Department, having everyone's, Name, Role, Department and Manager recorded in alphabetical order, helps me to locate staff with ease

Objectives and Review. I am  yet to familiarise myself with these functions, but as of yet, I am still in the learning stage.

Being able to locate staff quickly and identify which department they work in, as well as who their line Manager is. This information is vital to my role.
The fact that some  of the staff work from home on occassions, means I can go weeks without seeing the same person

One thing that could be highlighted is StaffCircle's user-friendly interface and intuitive design that aims to simplify the performance review process for both managers and employees. The platform emphasizes streamlining tasks like goal setting, continuous feedback, and review cycles. It gives a comprehensive view of the everybody's holiday and how it affects me. It has also beeen easy to integrate into what we use and easier to get into which has informed the frequency of its use.

Since I'm a relatively new user of this platform, I haven't noticed anything particularly outstanding yet. Admittedly, getting started with it felt a bit unfamiliar at first, but I've grown accustomed to it over time. Any questions that I have had has been easily answered by the customer service team.

A key aspect that I find beneficial is the ability to request and schedule time off through the platform. This streamlines the process of corresponding with HR regarding holidays, avoiding the potential disruptions caused by lengthy email threads.
It has made it easier to deal with time outs and the holidays.

You can find out up to date information about the company on the feed, also monitor objectives which require completion and update management via the platform to advise if you are on track with the objectives. I like the layout of the "Time-Off" tab, which shows you in detail, days you have taken off due to sickness or Annual Leave and its very easy to book time off here as well.

I do not dislike anything about Staff Circle, I find it to be very user friendly and a website where I can find and request everything I need.

**What problems is StaffCircle - Performance Management Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I have my objectives listed and I can update my manager easily via StaffCircle throughout the year as to where I am with these, it also helps when it comes to my end of year review which we can reference staff circle for everything (objectives / time off).

**What do you like best about StaffCircle - Performance Management Platform?**

Staffcircle does let me easily schedule and manage performance reviews for my team.  I like that it automatically books in the next review and integrates well with Microsoft Teams to let me know when goals are updated or when reviews are due. It does provide a good framework for performance reviews and setting goals.

**What do you dislike about StaffCircle - Performance Management Platform?**

There are lots of graphs and charts on the service without the axis labelled and no explanation for what they're supposed to represent.  Data without context isn't much use to anyone. Perhaps you could add a (?) button to explain what the charts are supposed to mean.

Setting goals outside of performance reviews seems to be pretty clumsy - I've often gone into a future review and set them from there because it's easier than trying to navigate other ways.

Additionally, deleting scheduled reviews seems to require special permissions that I, as a manager, don't have. Perhaps this is an organisational thing but if I've created a review, I should be able to delete it. 

The general UX needs to be improved. For example, it takes several clicks to get the reviewee's feedback side by side with my feedback. There are quite a few examples of things that are quite counter-intuitive.

It allows a standard framework for performance reviews across the entire organisation and lets me, as a manager, monitor and track performance.

As a recent upgrade to managing another member of staff, I have found the Holidays authorisation platform an amazing help, the holiday calendar helps me to see if there are any other team members are off which may need to be taken into consideration before an authorisation. Confirmation of dates taken and pending are clearly shown and number of days left to take - it really has made life so much easier. thank you StaffCircle!

Took a little while to figure out how to have my notifications as 'read' - this is not an issue with the platform, just me...getting older!

As a global business with sites in both the UK and US, it's great for us to post celebrations both personal and professional and see what other teams elsewhere are up to. Managing annual leave is a breeze using the platform, definite improvment on our previous one!

**What do you like best about StaffCircle - Performance Management Platform?**

Managing holdiays is much easier and I really like the wall as a way of gettin information round the company. We have only just begun using it this year for our reviews/KPIs and so far It has been good. The process has been smoother and we now have official half year reviews which is good. 

As mentioned, my favourite thing is the wall and the various types of posts that can be used (polls etc.). It helps reduce email traffic and is an engaging way to get many messages across. This has helped from a culturte perspective.

I have yet to fully understand the KPI system but it is only my firtst year using so im sure by the end of the year, it will make more sense.

It would be good  to have a poll/survey option that only gives the results to those who have organised as knowing the %'s straight away can sometimes ruin some competiiotns we run etc (maybe there is an option for this but havent firgured it out yet!)

Persoanlly, reducing email traffic, ease of finding important documents/ HR policies, holiday booking. I am also enjoying the KPI system so far but havent done a full round yet in terms of end ofyear reviews

**What do you like best about StaffCircle - Performance Management Platform?**

I like the streamlined and user-friendly platform, having not used StaffCircle until my current role I've found the learning and readjusting process to be an easy one. We had some training but in all honesty, it wouldn't have been needed given how easy it is to navigate. It's a great way to track our goals and feel purposeful as we work towards them. I felt easily integrated into the StaffCircle fold and now use it regularly.

I can't think of any downsides! It would be great to know if StaffCircle had benefits like other HR type platforms that offering discount codes and incentives. I love that you've taken this on board and partnered with MIND - a really worthwhile and beneficial charity and donating to them cements your commitment to this and refelcts the care to your users and beyond.

It's primarily helping with performance management and tracking our progress as we work towards our yearly goals. This has proven to be very helpful and ensures everyone in the team that needs to be is looped in and aware of the achievements being made and met.

**What do you like best about StaffCircle - Performance Management Platform?**

StaffCircle is an excellent tool for people managers like me with a large team.  

I like how easy it is to use. For example the review system giving us options to do a probation review mid way, a full review, quarterly and annual reviews and even 360 degree feedback. This is a huge area that companies need to do what they say but none the less are left behind due to lack of tools/ right technology support.  The tool even allows to sync with your calendar giving you future reminders and helps manager organise their dairies with important people management duties.

The documents section allows us to share and display current and live company documents.

The insights section also holds skills data bases allowing managers to keep track of skills gaps by displaying in a dashboard style for ease of reference.

The information feed helps with staff and company communications, recognition's, awards and sharing individual, team and company achievements. I would highly recommend StaffCircle to anyone looking for a comprehensive HR tool.

None. I really like the tool and feels it ticks all the criteria i need to manage my team and staff.

Very easy to use even for non-computer users. simplistic layout makes the platform easy to navigate. Helps create clear communication between staff members and allows for planned holidays without clashing. I think the most helpful thing about staff circle is the ability to review and check my targets given to me at the start of the year. When typing up my goals for the year the platform was helpfull with the ease of use and i liked i allowed for long text to be written. Ive not yed needed to use customer support due to ease of implementation. Also like the graphs and display of days taken and remaining days of holiday. I also noticed the how do you feel bar that diplays and feel its a nice touch.

Nothing in particular i dislike about staffcircle. Would be maybe good to have a monthly target system on there that can be updated and reviewed by both management and employee.

Helping to improve comunnication between management and employee. Allowing to organize holiday and sick time effectifly from home. Also benifit from having the veiwable apraseal to check back on for throughout the year.

**What do you like best about StaffCircle - Performance Management Platform?**

StaffCircle is great for ease of use - everything I could need is in one place which makes everything straightforward in my day to day work life. The features it includes are relevant and useful for my role and means I can easily keep track of things such as annual leave and objectives and reviews. The number of features also means that StaffCircle is used pretty much everyday in my role. The staff directory is especially useful to help me filter colleuges by sector and skill to help with collaboration.

**What do you dislike about StaffCircle - Performance Management Platform?**

StaffCircle can take a while to get used to when switching from other platforms due to the depth of what is available. It can be a bit too easy to get lost in a number of clicks to find the exact function of what you are looking for - ie completing a review.

StaffCircle is helping me keep track of objectives and reviews that often previously fell through the cracks. It is also provides me with more agency as a 'reviewee' to also ensure that my reviewer is completing their duties and feedback recorded appropriately.

StaffCircle's clean and user-friendly design is a major plus. Easy-to-read layouts are particularly important for staff with dyslexia, ensuring everyone can access information comfortably.  This promotes inclusivity and ensures everyone feels on the same page.
StaffCircle goes beyond clear visuals. It simplifies communication, making company-wide announcements a breeze. Everyone stays informed and engaged. Plus, features like colleague recognition and feeds foster a strong sense of community.

**What do you dislike about StaffCircle - Performance Management Platform?**

While StaffCircle is very user-friendliness, it took some time to get accustomed to the interface and navigate efficiently.  An automated pop-up tutorial upon first login would be incredibly helpful for new users, minimising the initial learning curve.

Additionally, core functionalities are great, but additional integrations with third-party software would be a valuable asset.  Imagine seamlessly connecting StaffCircle with existing HR platforms or productivity tools , I believe that would maximise the platform's potential.

Easy to know what is expeceted of me and what i need to do. Manager can post his thoughts and i can do the same. the best thing is i can revisit it at any time. i often revisit to post updates on my progress with tasks for my manager to review at own convienience.

The website takes a bit of time to get use to but easy to use when know how after my 2nd visit i was well equainted with the site.

- Quick and responsive loadtimes throughout the app 
- Clear and easy navigation and segregation or user/admin areas
- Easy for non-techs to learn how to administrate and own
- Easy to add & enable integrations
- Good functionality for onboarding new starters
- Nice functionality with task/worksheet assignment which can be applied for a lot of areas and not just HR/PM.
- Great team of people at SC in general. Always willing to help, talk through ideas, support, etc.

We primarily use SC as a platform for HR data and secondary as performance management. It helps keep a central source of truth for our employee data as well as keep track of all performance reviews and outstanding tasks. The tasks functionality is really useful to ensure we collect all the information we need when onboarding new users.

the user interface is clear and easy to navigate, whether its staff appraisals or daily updates from across the business via the feed option. Easy to use throughout the day, log on first thing in the morning, check the feed and any objectives then leave it running in the back ground to check periodically.

The idea of a performance management platform is relatively new to our business, therefore we had a period of encouraging all staff to interact with Staffcircle at varying degrees of success, but once the idea had settled, staff are happy with the integration.

Keeping up to date with staff appraisals is my main benefit of using Staffcircle.

Documents, i.e. my medical appointment letters are saved onto the Staff Circle system, they contain a lot of personal information that I am not convinced is entirely secure - confidential and private to myself but I am unable to remove (delete) them from the Documents folder.  For how long are such records kept by Staff Circle and how are you ensuring they are completely secure?

A bit too complicated - onerous to use and updating progress with supporting justification is not particularly useful  to myself, i.e. a simple matrix - schecule of tasks, objectives and current status of each would be useful as a speedy point of reference which I would probably look at weekly rather than randomly every few months.

When I joined Prime Secure in June 2023 I had never heard of or used Staff Circle, however now that I have been in the business for over 6 months and have been using the platform almost every day, I can confirm that it is a fantastic HR system. We share all our company news announcements on our feed, and use the performance mgmt for our performance appraisals, and e-learning. Smooth running system, easy to use.

The only criticsm I would have is the lack of customisation of certain aspects of the platform, such as setting up auto-reminders. Would also like to see the introduction of GIFs on the platform so that these can be used in comments/posts.

Staff Circle is helping us transfer our performance management into one accessible platform, and helping us to move away from paper files. In turn, this is helping us in terms of compliance, but also with our eco goals.

What i like most about staff circle is how it can be used in multiple ways, for example, it is an engaging tool to send internal communications which can be sent directly to your email address to be notified of new updates, and also used to log overtime, sickness, book holiday, see your performance and also used as a directory for all people within the business. It is a very easy to use tool and since my workplace moved onto it, i feel it has been very positive and loved by many. It allows you to create engaging internal communications where people can submit answers which is also very useful. It also has a customer support chatbox which i have never used but i feel would be very useful if needed. 
I use staff circle daily and have definitely felt more engaged with my workplace than before we used staf circle.

One thing i initially disliked about staff circle is the amount of emails i would recieve from it, it would clog up my inbox and it was quite annoying. However, you my workplace managed to fix this issue by working with staff circle to tailor what emails we would like to recieve and which ones we didnt. This worked out really well as it means we only recieve important emails, such as any updates within the business.

Staff circle is allowing us to be more engaged with eachother across the business and to see what other departments are gettign up to. I've not been with the company long, around 2 months. I was able to use staff circle easily within days! I like that its used for mutiple purposes such as employee holidays, absence but also to display company events & tasks.

Im not sure if theres a way to upload videos straight to the feed/display page? I have recently been using staff circle to upload toolbox talks for employees. It would be beneficial if the video can be watched straight away instead of following an attachment.

I like that there are awards available, and I really enjoy the personalised feed with other staff information such as birthdays. The platform has easily integrated into our weekly routine as manager and direct report, and also helps hold managers accountable. We can set an agenda and formalise topics that need to be covered easily.

We use StaffCircle for all communications and to display rewards and forms for things like Bupa regsitartion etc. It's great that it's all in a central place. I can also look at holiday for both myself and team membetrs which helps me to plan ahead.
I also like that I can access from home as well if I need to review holiday etc when I'm not at work.

Sometimes it can be glitchy - if we access the GEMS page sometimes it won't allow me to go back to my news feed without closing down and restarting completely.

We are currently using the platform to manage annual leave and it seenms to work well. We are due to start using is to manage staff performance and 1-2-1's etc which will stream line the process over how we currently do things

The only issue i am aware of so far is that when booking leave, the approver only receives a single email which can be easily missed. I would like to see this changed in the future so that reminder emails are sent and get more frequent until approved.

Staff circle is easy to use and accessible by everyone in the business. It allows for internal interaction, performance reviews and internal communications. With the internal communications, I like the features of being able to interact with posts made.
I also like that it can be accessed from my mobile device, so i dont have to go onto my work laptop to access all info i require.

I also appreciate being able to see if my holiday requests overlap with colleagues'. Plus, having our payslip portal and other channels all in one place is super convenient.

When you first start using StaffCircle, it can be quite confusing and not very user-friendly. Even after training, it takes a significant amount of time before it becomes easier to manage.

The system is much clearer and more intuitive to use than our previous system.
Very easy to keep track of holiday days remaining and absences etc.
I like that it ties in with our Office 365 accounts.

At the moment we just have the basic functionality for Annual leave.
There's also a section for personal HR related files, but has not been utilised so far, so unable to comment on it's functionality.

In terms of performace management, it is not that useful to the typical user beyong keeping track of their own absences and holidays.
I expect it will be useful to HR and management with keeping track of both annual leave and absences in one place.

StaffCircle is very easy to use and well designed - it's not overloaded with tons of buttons and icons and graphics which makes it easy to navigate.

I work in a fixed-term contract, part-time position, so my line manager and I aren't fully utilising all of the available features since they're not necessarily applicable to me - perhaps there is a way to tailor the platform a little more to each user depending on whether they are in a full-time/part-time position and/or on a long-term/fixed-term contract.

I like how easy to use it is.
 I like the noticeboard and the notification section. 
Also as a manager I like the team section - looking up employees, saving 1-1 forms, approving holiday, etc. 
I like the time off section. Clear and easy to use. 
I also like the quick check in sentiment section. 
I also like using it as a platform for Staff internal comms. 
I use it every day and keep it open to dip in and out of it throughout the day.

Not all staff engage with it which makes it frustrating. 
The internal comms posts only get a few likes each time which is a shame. 
Most people internally use Teams so they see StaffCircle as just another thing to remember to check. I keep mine open every day so I can pop on, but a lot of people don't use it at all which is a shame.

As a manager I use it as a HR tool for logging staff 1-1's, apprasial's, holiday's, leave, etc. It keeps everything clearly in one place and is easy to use, store and find documents. Make's it easy when trying to look for paperwork or when change in manager as all history for staff member in one place.

She showcased an exceptional depth of knowledge regarding performance management principles, best practices, and the specific tools we were rolling out. The clarity with which complex concepts were broken down made it accessible to all our employees, irrespective of their prior familiarity with the platform. As an American based company there have been slight edits needed to fit our needs but no draw backs from our perspective.

The new platform has allowed us to change from a six month performance system to an annual evaluation to be inclusive of organizational goals, metrixs and much more. We plan to expand on the features but for roleout out focus was having all evaluations performed annually.

all the interal company information in one platform - wellbeing / policies / HR / leave requests / review / updates / staff database etc. 
relatively easy to use

not totally intuitive - need to have basic amount of training to navigate around
would be good to be able to hyperlink things into review files

streamlinng and providing consistecy across managers in review structure and frequency. positive feedback given now more frequency 'check ins' with staff members.

It is really good that we get alerts telling us who has requested a holiday, or an ascence.
Customer support is always excellent, always very responsive.

**What do you dislike about StaffCircle - Performance Management Platform?**

The training side of things needs tweeking, it needs a drop down menu, to select the right course, rather than typing it each time.

the need for a drop down menu.
the need to attach a certificate.
the need to get alerts to emails about training expiring.

If you do not use staffcircle much you soon forget how to do things on there or where to find it

I enjoy being able to easily visualise my objectives and track my performance regarding those objectives throughout the year. The percentage based performance of these objectives gives a clear indication of my progression.

It can be hard to navigate at first, but as time progresses becomes easier and more reliable.

As a visual learner, it allows an easy visualisation of my progress across different objectives, giving myself a better understanding of how I am performing throughout the year.

The easiest way for the business to celebrate every win, I think this is so important as it motivates everyonr! I have used customer support feature a couple of times, and they have been great on each occasion.  I use this platform every single day so ease of each feature is the most important to me.

**What do you dislike about StaffCircle - Performance Management Platform?**

An instant messenger tool would be very useful, its a shame this isn't a feature yet.

Keeps me in the loop- I never miss any important info, events or celebrations anymore.

i like the timeline/news feed, this brings a social media type feel to the workplace, encouraging staff engagement to communicate and support each other. i also like that customer support is always at hand if required.

i find that it can sometimes be difficult to navigate, but you soon get used to it the more you use it.

Biggest downside is when you manager is putting a lot of new things for  you and you need to keep up with all that!
