What do you like best about Greenhouse?

Greenhouse is probably the most comprehensive ATS available. In my experience, it's been helpful for both smaller and larger companies. Any time I've ever had a question or didn't know how to do something, customer support has been there to help me quickly and efficiently. As a talent acquisition professional, it's the tool I use every day. Although it can seem overwhelming, I find it pretty user-friendly, from basic use to its ease of integration with other tools we use internally. What do you dislike about Greenhouse?

What do you like best about Greenhouse?

I like how flexible Greenhouse is when it comes to setting up every aspect, whether it be permissions or job-based.

The interface is generally easy enough to navigate that most new hiring managers need minimal training to get started.

What do you dislike about Greenhouse?

The email relay they use has issues with ending up in spam and junk folders, this can be remedied but it does crop up again from time to time. It would seem something they should be working to fix given their competitors use a different system to prevent this.

Greenhouse is very intuitive and easy to operate as an ATS. I really like the end-to-end workflow from requisition creation, approvals, and candidate applications to sourcing and managing interviews. It’s seamless to export candidate profiles directly from LinkedIn into Greenhouse, and the offer process is simple and efficient. I also appreciate the flexibility to customize or add fields based on regional requirements, and the dashboard provides clear, actionable data for quick insights. I see an opportunity to improve the search functionality so it can retrieve more relevant candidate results from the entire database. What do you like best about Greenhouse?

I find Greenhouse incredibly user-friendly, which stands out compared to other similar software like Workday and Taleo. Its intuitive interface significantly reduces the ramp-up time for our TA team, making onboarding much quicker and more seamless. I appreciate the excellent support team, consisting of chat and assigned customer success managers, who are consistently responsive to immediate concerns. The product team is impressive, constantly iterating and rolling out new features that enhance the usability of Greenhouse for talent acquisition teams. Moreover, Greenhouse integrates effectively with other platforms within our tech stack, such as Calendly, BrightHire, and UKG, which streamlines various processes such as scheduling and interview management. What do you dislike about Greenhouse?

Some features are not currently built into Greenhouse. I want a feature that allows copying permissions from one user to another, which would streamline the process of managing user roles. Additionally, the lack of capability to revise referral links and the limited fields available for API connections are constraints that need attention. The integration with Calendly could be enhanced to allow scheduling directly from the candidate view instead of just the candidate pipeline view. We’ve identified a few areas where Greenhouse could be fine-tuned to better align with our specific business needs. These aren’t major platform issues - more so nuanced use cases that, if addressed, would help us get even more value from an already strong system.

While we don’t have an ongoing need or the bandwidth to regularly engage with the advanced support options Greenhouse offers, we would really benefit from a deeper system review 2-3x per year. What do you like best about Greenhouse?

This is a highly intelligent ATS that offers a wide range of customization options tailored to different contexts. It enables you to work in an efficient, integrated, and comprehensive manner. One of its greatest strengths is the depth it provides for data analysis, allowing you to explore insights extensively.

During the implementation phase, Greenhouse's Team was extremely attentious and made everything easiest. Even with some language and cultures difference, they didn't made it a barrior and was always putting a lot of effort on making it as soft as it could. What do you dislike about Greenhouse?

While the interface is straightforward and the features and icons are logically organized at each stage of the journey, I feel it could be made a bit more user-friendly. Additionally, some custom field details do not always fit the needs of users from other countries and cultures, like Brazil. I really appreciate Greenhouse's excellent scheduling capabilities, which make organizing interviews much more streamlined. Its ability to integrate seamlessly with other software, especially Metaview, is incredibly beneficial. This integration allows us to automatically sync interview transcripts with candidate profiles, enhancing our workflow efficiency. Additionally, Greenhouse’s intuitive design and comprehensive features meet all our needs as an applicant tracking system. I'd like to see a natural language prompt that allows me to find candidates in our candidate database similar to a ChatGPT prompt.
