"Dice - Best recruitment tool for Searching accurate candidates"

What do you like best?

Dice enables best search for the candidates using boolean search

It is very easy to use and it helps perfect sorting of candidates

Even the candidates can be searched using Job title and we simplify our search if in need of local candidates. Job Posting on dice can be done in few steps and candidates can apply quickly

What do you dislike?

It becomes very difficult to source for Citizens and green holders

This portal is efficient only for H1B holder candidates

It is very costly even.

There are many fake profiles with incorrect email id present on dice

Dice by far is the best recruitment portal i have used and it simplifies our search . We can reach out to accurate candidates with proper boolean search. Also Job Posting on dice can be done very easily and use effectievly

"Best Search tool - recruiter Friendly!"

What do you like best?

We have been using dice for several years now and did not had a chance to complain about any glitches. It has multiple filters to streamline your search results to get your desired outcome. Most of the portals we have tried was not been able to cut down clutters and unwanted results.We have seen them progressing each year to make the tool adaptive and a recruiter friendly search portal.

What do you dislike?

Cannot think of anything - Until the company is trying to keep upgrading to suit the current market trends, i am good with them.

Little pricey as compared to other tools in the market however this is worth it!

What business problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

A lot of things certainly, we were able to cut down a sourcing time significantly and spend more time talking to the candidates. Easy for the new recruiters to understand and use the too!

"Dice - Perefect place for talent search."

What do you like best?

Dice where you can find your perfect match as per client requirement. I have been using this product from starting of Recruiting carrier. It is easy to use with nominal training. There are many way can put our search.Recently they have added feature named Intellisearch where you can search directly by Job description , Resume or related content. You have to just cope all data and paste and here we go. Other than this we can use Boolean search or with desire title. More importantly we can add filter like location, willing to relocate, Employment type work permit and many more. Personally i like Work permit feature as its very handy for my daily need.

What do you dislike?

As per me Dice improving day by day there is not much to dislike.

As i am working as Technical Recruiter i need to fulfill client requirement like Work permit, specific skills candidates visa and location. And i am getting this result effortlessly with Dice

"Dice - "Best Place To Find a Great Talent""

What do you like best?

The best thing about dice is that it has every feature in it. It allows us to select every visa type or every working authorization for which we are searching.

We can even select the experience level of candidates which we are searching for, from junior level to architect level.

One of the best about dice is that it will never get log out or it will never bring us back to search page like other portals do.

It has two search columns one is keyword and other is desired position.

Keyword helps us to find the candidates who has the exact skills which we are searching for.

Desired position helps us to find the candidates who has a exact role which we are looking into.

We can select the specific location which we want to search the candidates in that place.

We can also search the candidates with their specific education or highest education.

What do you dislike?

Some times the keyword which we enter, dice cannot find it even if it is their then we have to restart dice and again search it i guess this is some bug in dice, other than this i don't have any dislikes all is good.

I really recommend all to use this it will really help you to find great talent quickly with zero efforts.

We really face problems when client is asking for top notch profiles or very skilled profiles which we are not able to find it, but really dice has that kind of talent which we can submit and bring a great profit for our company.

""DICE, a GREAT recruitment and sourcing tool""

What do you like best?

Dice is a great recruitment and sourcing job board with compare to the the other available products on the market. Its boolean search feature is one of its kind.

It has integrated features like radius search, Territory search, visa selection, salary/rates selection, companies worked for selection, education level selection, year of experience selection and many more which makes the sourcing much easier than the traditional sourcing methods of other job boards.

Its user interface is very good and every other icon and check boxes are easy to view, manage and access.

Job posting feature is a great function as it gives an extra impact and higher chances of the closable relies from the candidates.

What do you dislike?

As far as the dislikes are concerned the user click limit is the only factor about this product, apart from this its a great tool and has great sourcing potential.

And some may feel that this is a bit expensive product that other job boards in the market, however great tools are not cheap in prizing.

A great sourcing and recruitment tool for all of your staffing and recruitment processes. PLEASE EXPERIENCE IT.

"Very good for recruiting IT staff"

What do you like best?

DICE is the "original" technology job search/posting solution. Even today with other options like LinkedIn, GlassDoor, and Indeed, DICE holds its own by having a solid pool of candidates and employers

What do you dislike?

Unfortunately, companies are able to put, placeholder resumes on DICE so you might find a candidate you like, but it isn't actually a specific person, but a placeholder that when you contact the person, the company sourcing the candidates says they have equivalent people, but not the person you thought you were looking at or interested in. There should be a way to verify and ban submissions like that.

Recommendations to others considering the product

DICE works well for us since we are interested in IT staff, but it might not be the right tool if you need non-technical staff. LinkedIn might be better for that.

"Want a perfect Candidate - Use Dice!!"

What do you like best?

One of the best job board to look out for candidates with perfect skills to match the job role.

We can use both search method Simple and Boolean search strings to search the candidate.

Company search is the best option to search the targeted candidates.

Searching of Local Candidates is also simple on Dice.

What do you dislike?

The UserInterface of New dice should be improved Slightly.

"Average experience with Dice as a Recruiter"

What do you like best?

Its user experience is decent. Better than monster and way better than indeed. But it also lags sometimes and I have to restart my entire search.

What do you dislike?

There are 2 things that I dislike about dice and both have the same root cause.

1. Whenever I post a job on dice the number of replies is very low users compared to Indeed.

2. Whenever I search for candidates, I cannot find any good ones because of low users compared monster.

Evaluate Monster and Indeed as well. Probably you might think they meet your business needs better.

My company where I interned, is a software consulting company. We used to use Monster indeed dice etc to search for candidates to fill out technical jobs at our client firms. So the business problem that I solved was searching for candidates to take up contract jobs at our client's.

What do you like best?

best string machine for search candidate in categized of CITIZEB/GC/H1B. in based on visa status.

What do you dislike?

Nothing as such, working with it from last 3 years but couldn't find anything to dislike

What do you like best?

The important thing that makes Dice different from other job boards is the various filters that we can select to streamline the sourcing method like type of hire interested, visa, location etc.

The new UI has changed, this is not a deal breaker however, it will take time to adapt.

"A Great Place to Find Techies"

What do you like best?

I like the functionality and how simple it is to use. You can either conduct a regular search, or a boolean search, and the candidates that come up are usually spot on with what we're looking for.

What do you dislike?

Some of the search options could be a bit better, such as looking for those with security clearances. It would be much easier if the dropdown box had the different clearances to pick from, as opposed to just a simple 'yes' or 'no'. Also, there have been many times when the search would bring up people completely unrelated to the filers suggested.

If you're looking for someone with security clearances, you will be able to find them after some sifting, but it can be difficult.

The new Advanced Search Beta is very user friendly and brings back good search results. There are many filter options to help cut down results and isolate only those profiles that truly match your needs.

What do you like best?

I like that it is specific to the IT industry and has a very good boolean search capabilities. You are able to find very specific skill sets based on your searches.

There are a number of 3rd party candidates' resumes on the site with contact information that's their employer's info, as opposed to the candidate

Dice is one of the best job portable to find out the correct candidate as per requirement.

Fetch the candidate is to easy.

The biggest downside of Dice is the fact that their listings are rather limited.

Contact number and mail Id should be mandatory for upload resume to every candidate so it will be easy to connect to every candidate and closed his candidature.

What do you like best?

Easy interface, good sorting tools, simple to find the general skillset that you're looking for quickly

What do you dislike?

No always the best talent for hard-to-fill jobs, many out-of-date and duplicate profiles, and many H1B holder phone numbers - not always direct candidates.

If you have a lot of contract roles or basic web development skills and need a volume of candidates, this is an effective tool for populating your database and finding available candidates.

What do you like best?

The price for posting jobs, the ability to save searches, and the ability to schedule alerts and their frequency.

What do you dislike?

I dislike how many corp-to-corp ONLY candidates that are posted. You have to take time to figure out if it the actual consultant/contractor you are talking to or if it the subcontractor's recruiter.

Some way to cut down duplicate resumes and corp-to-corp handlers.
