Universal Background Screening sometimes can take too long to get a background check complete. There have been times where I've had to wait 2 weeks to get a background check complete. When hiring, this can be frustrating for us the employer and the candidate. It holds up the process and sometimes creates unnecessary delays. There have been times where I've placed a rush on an order, and it has still taken several more days to get completed. The Drug Screening process can also be a bit confusing for the candidates because everything comes in one email and they miss the info about the drug screen or don't understand what they need to do - so this leads to me having to follow up with the candidates multiple times and having to explain the whole process/walk them through. UBS was integrated into our applicant system, so when offering a position and getting them set up for education/work history background check, it was literally about 5 clicks of the mouth rather than having to enter a lot of information. sometimes there seems to be hidden fees for drug screens. They have non-preferred locations that charge extra but they never disclose the additional amount. We occasionaly have employees in more remote areas so there are limited options - which is fine, but we dont expect to have $80+ drug screens either. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
