What do you like best about UKG Ready?

I like that UKG Ready enhances efficiency and compliance while securely centralizing employee data. The platform's HR administration is valuable as it centralizes employee information in a secure database, reducing paperwork and automating routine tasks. The flexible payroll feature is impressive with its continuous real-time processing that reduces processing time and ensures accurate paychecks. I appreciate the talent management tools that cover the entire employee lifecycle, helping attract and retain talent. The time tracking and scheduling tools automate time tracking and enable effective labor cost control, while ensuring the right people are scheduled according to skills and availability. Third-party integrations with tools like Salesforce and NetSuite ensure data consistency across systems. The mobile functionality is a plus, allowing employees to check pay stubs, request time off, and clock in/out conveniently. What do you dislike about UKG Ready?

The user interface and navigation can be a bit of a hassle, described as a 'click maze' with limitations like only having one tab and half screen. Reporting and customization features could also use some improvement. The mobile app has limitations too, but I can't provide many details. What do you like best about UKG Ready?

I like UKG Ready's unified, single-database system. HR, payroll, and timekeeping share the exact same database, which means there's no need to sync data between different platforms. This is a big advantage because an employee profile update or shift change reflects instantly across payroll and reporting. This creates a single source of truth for all of our employee data, transforming how I manage our workforce. I also found the initial setup to be quite easy. What do you dislike about UKG Ready?

While UKG Ready's unified database is powerful, its clunky interface requires too many clicks for simple daily tasks. The Applicant Tracking System feels outdated, and hourly workers often struggle with mobile app glitches when clocking in. What do you like best about UKG Ready?

Our team is able to customize the different platforms to fit our company's needs. And the reporting is top notch. Our fiscal year begins on July 1st. In the past, we've always had to run 2 YTD reports and do a cut and paste job to come up with fiscal year data. I love being able to give the Accounting auditor and the 401k auditor login access each year - so that they can pull the data that they need directly from the system. And once the audit is completed, I can deactivate their access. I love that individuals who leave the organization can still have limited access to the system. They can still see their W2s, pay statements and other tax forms. That eliminates those phone calls and emails each January from individuals who no longer work with the organization. The Time & Attendance platform allowed us to finally get our PTO / Accrual process automated. We have also been able to implement a grant allocation process on the T&A platform as well. Two things that we've had to do manually in other systems. And we were finally able to get rid of a 15 tab Excel document by automating our payroll journal entry. That is something I would list 5 times on repeat. Every system we used in the past always promised that they could integrate with NetSuite (our company's Accounting software). UKG not only promised but they delivered. For once our Accounting Department has been happy with HRs selection of a HRIS. We also had a great implementation team. Love the Open Enrollment platform and the Applicant Tracking platform. We added the Learning module to our platform last month. We are currently reviewing Bryte and Document Manager. What do you dislike about UKG Ready?

Area of improvement: The EverythingBenefits area should really be evaluated. The EDI connection process could be easier. The Performance Review platform could be more intuitive. The workflow process required for this process is unreal. Not sure why the development team is not able to add commas to the dollar amounts on the Applicant Tracking platform. It looks very weird to enter a salary range of $150500 - $165900. It would look better with commas. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about UKG Ready?

While UKG Ready is a robust and comprehensive platform, there are some areas that could be improved. Certain workflows are not always intuitive and can require additional training, especially for managers and new users. System updates or configuration changes sometimes impact processes unexpectedly, requiring follow-up adjustments. Additionally, report customization can be time-consuming, and extracting specific data is not always as straightforward as expected.

What do you like best about UKG Ready?

The platform is scalable and comprehensive. While it is complex, once the system is used, it's fairly intuitive to operate effectively. Reporting is robust. Payroll is a snap!

Our implementation was very smooth. It was structured and comprehensive and as a result our go live was smooth sailing. But like all platforms, those who are involved in day to day operations must be invested in the process. Ask questions and provide detailed scenarios for your organization in order get the system setup effectively.

Frequency of use for me is daily - every day, all day. System is cloud based and stable.

Customer support is available during operating hours via chat and by phone. Chat assist is by far the most helpful when looking for a quick tip, solution or a reminder on how to process something. If the chat assist has difficulty in responding, they will immediately create support tickets. You may also submit support tickets with detailed information to expedite solutions. Tickets can be rated by importance. Support response is prompt and professional. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about UKG Ready?

There are a few items that are counterintuitive in their location.

Total compensation statement is only available in PDF. It would be great if that same data could be included in a canned report for ease of reference over a large population of employees. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about UKG Ready?

How everything is in one spot, HR, Payroll, Talent, ATS. I like that you can customize each tab like Main, HR, Payroll so it makes sense in our brains. I think the training and learning aspects are getting better in that you seem to recognize that not all learners do well with written manuals. Some of us do better with visual examples of how to set up or maneuver through the system. I do like that is seems you are constantly trying to innovate and improve instead of being stagnate. What do you dislike about UKG Ready?

The ATS is rather clunky and not very intuitive or dynamic. The set up to the requisitions is strange and not labeled well. Overall, sometimes support doesn't seem to be experts in what they are talking about or able to give good direction. Also, I was very unhappy with the switch in the dashboard to all white and changing the widgets as well as the logo for community. What do you like best about UKG Ready?

I like the ease of use of the system. The reporting in Workforce Ready is very user-friendly. You can tweak a report and not have to jump from screen to screen.

Employees are able to see their information and create a dashboard that is custom.

Pay statements are easily found and accruals for vacation and sick time is very transparent. to employees.

The mobile app is a great tool for employees and managers. Time off can be requested on the app and managers can approve time while at home. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about UKG Ready?

I wish we could pull reports that show a year over year comparison for income.

We have several employees that transfer over the year. Transfer files need to be re-build with only some information coming over in a sync file. Most has to be re-built. It would be great if we could just switch EIN's.

You also have to re-build the accrual info and previous time off transactions can not be seen in the employee's accrual screen. They have to go to the EIN's separately. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about UKG Ready?

I like UKG Ready for its seamless processing and timecard integration. The ability to export data to ADP and to our general ledger system is also very beneficial. Modern updates keep the software current. Completing payroll is very efficient, and the system triggers alerts to identify any possible errors prior to moving to the next step. What do you dislike about UKG Ready?

I don't like that reports may include multiple sides, like Payroll side items and HR side items. Getting those items together would make things much easier. We have reports that need to be produced for Worker's Compensation audits, Labor Boards, etc., that require more details from each side, but we are unable to create a report since they are from two different sections. What do you like best about UKG Ready?

UKG Ready includes everything our small HR team needs to not only improve and streamline current processes, but it also allows us to create new processes and implement change in our organization. From payroll, to employee engagement initiatives, to employee forms and documents upkeep - UKG Ready allows us to spend more time on community impact than the day-to-day administrative burdens. Everything is centralized in a single location and available when needed. The customization of tabs and reports is amazing.
