**What do you like best about candidate.fyi?**

There are many things we like about Candidate.fyi, but the biggest is its flexibility. Our team schedules everything from simple 1:1 interviews in the same time zone to complex, multi-region interview loops with different interview types on the same requisition, and Candidate.fyi has been able to support all of it seamlessly.

The platform is also very intuitive. While some tools take weeks or even months to fully learn, our team was able to get up and running in just a few days.

We also appreciate that Candidate.fyi goes beyond interview scheduling. It’s really focused on the full candidate experience, and now even the hiring manager and interviewer experience, with features like hiring manager satisfaction surveys, the interview intelligence notetaker, and more. They continue to ship new products and features that are genuinely useful and easy for our team to adopt, even for those who aren’t especially technical.

**What do you dislike about candidate.fyi?**

Nothing specific comes to mind - we’ve had a great experience with Candidate.fyi overall. Our only regret is that we didn’t make the move sooner.

I find candidate.fyi incredibly easy to navigate, use, and customize as needed. It's great that the platform allows candidates to self-schedule interviews, which saves our team valuable time that can be spent on recruiting efforts. The customizable nature of the platform allows us to set it up efficiently to meet our needs and work best with our hiring processes, providing a great experience for candidates. The candidate portal helps us build our brand with candidates, and the pulse surveys allow us to gather feedback from candidates and hiring managers to improve our processes. The candidate.fyi team has been incredible partners, offering strong recommendations and quick technical support. Their openness to feedback on product or feature improvements is a big plus, as they quickly roll out updates based on our requests and seem to stay ahead of market trends. I love the candidate.fyi dashboard because it lets me see all the interviews I have scheduled, what I need to schedule, and what's pending a candidate's response. It's great to have that visibility into the pipeline, so I can visualize where people are at any time. Another thing I love is the candidate portal, particularly how customizable it is. Making it look and feel like something our company would send out really helps our interview process stand out compared to other companies. The customer service and support are top-tier, and they are exceptional at understanding our needs and ensuring we get the most out of the tool.

**What do you dislike about candidate.fyi?**

Because candidate.fyi has changed its interface a few times, it has been a pain point for our team. I would love it if they could find an interface that worked well and keep it like that for a bit; or give you the option to use a legacy version, where you could gradually move into the new interface.

I use candidate.fyi to efficiently organize and prioritize candidates. It creates a centralized place for candidates to access interview information easily. It automates and streamlines scheduling, making it more seamless than manual scheduling on Google Calendars.

I appreciate that candidate.fyi streamlines the scheduling process significantly, making it easier for our TA team to handle high volume roles. The 'Schedule Now' feature, which was a recent release, has a promising impact on our recruitment process. I particularly enjoy the feature where scheduling can be done directly from an extension, simplifying the process for recruiters at various stages, whether they are using the self-schedule feature or not. I also admire how candidate.fyi is constantly changing and updating its features. Their openness to collaboration and listening to client needs is commendable, as it helps tailor the tool to better serve TA teams. The fact that candidate.fyi is highly adaptable to feedback and continuously evolves to enhance its capabilities is a big plus for us.

**What do you dislike about candidate.fyi?**

I think candidate.fyi could improve by implementing a general round creation feature at the beginning of the implementation process. This would provide companies a foundation to work with, allowing them to decide what round creation would look like moving forward. Additionally, while not an issue caused directly by candidate.fyi, the initial setup was challenging due to a change in management and leadership, leading to lack of dedicated leadership for implementation.

Candidate.fyi has changed our candidate experience game. It allows us to get curated EVP , 'Life At' & interview prep content directly to candidates, which keeps them both engaged and fully informed of what it means to work at Nintex at every interview stage. It helps TA by ensuring candidates have information and a clear interview path without manually sending over all the information via email. I also like that candidates can meet their interviewers before every interview and learn more about them. The pulse score data we receive is also useful as we can keep a real, live pulse on how interviews are performing and which stages/roles may be falling down in terms of candidate experience.

Before, there was no easy way for candidates to visualize their entire hiring journey, see who they would meet, and for Talent teams to consolidate all hiring resources into a central hub. The portals have allowed our teams to capture real-time feedback that helps our teams know what’s working and what needs to improve. Without these insights, it would have been really difficult to know. Our response and engagement rates improved dramatically in a very short time. We saw the data speak for itself in terms of impact. Their scheduling product has also been a game-changer in automating the complex scheduling workflows our team handles. It’s simple, saves time, works effectively, and keeps improving, which our team highly appreciates. Working with the candidate.fyi team has been fantastic. That said, one of the things we appreciated was how it encouraged us to be more intentional about candidate-facing content—something that sometimes gets deprioritized when hiring moves fast.

Candidate.FYI has the best customer service out of all the recruiting tools I've used - they genuinely hear you, work with you, and develop product solutions to solve longer-term issues. Candidate.FYI also has a lot of generally smart features that perform equally or better than some top competitors. Lastly, the candidate.fyi portals are SMART! These bring an advantage to the product that other companies can't/don't compete with.

It's still growing, and the scheduling features are relatively new compared to it's original portal product so there are some bumps in the road in transitioning from a more well known, better integrated tool.

**What problems is candidate.fyi solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Interview scheduling is made easy, but really the biggest selling point is the candidate portals! Giving candidates easy access to everything they need upfront makes for a great experience. With time and continued growth, CFYI is going to be the top dog for scheduling tools - calling it now.

**What do you like best about candidate.fyi?**

I love that it engages our candidates with the hiring process, and that it saves time for our recruiters and hiring managers by answering questions they didn't even know they had. The portals have been very easy to set up, and we have received a lot of positive feedback from candidates and recruiters. The support is top-notch. Our feedback is listened to and any issues we might have are solved almost immediately.

**What do you dislike about candidate.fyi?**

Dislike is a strong term - there are a few minor tweaks (like being able to sort lists on the admin side) but nothing major.

**What problems is candidate.fyi solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our recruiters used to have to take a lot of time answering questions from candidates that we were able to incorporate into our portals, saving them and the candidates time. We also have a much higher rate of submission for feedback surveys from candidates than we did previously, so we're actually getting useful feedback for once.

As someone who has led recruiting teams and recruiting operations this is one of the most impactful platforms I've used in years. Once set up the platform becomes really easy to use and maintain. Candidates love it - I've had multiple candidates who have reached out or mentioned specifically how the portal has helped them prepare for interviews and shows that the company cares about candidates and employees.

For such a small company I've received some of the best customer support I've had in a while. The founders are really responsive and proactive in making sure we're getting the most out of the platform.

**What do you dislike about candidate.fyi?**

There is some automation that is missing but hopefully in development.

**What problems is candidate.fyi solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's helping us clearly communicate to candidates where they are in our process and what they can expect in each step, while reflecting our employer branding and shareing important and relevant company information.

Candidate.fyi removes the manual labor of keeping our candidates engaged and in the know about our interview process. It also allows recruitment visibility into candidates' interviewing experiences with our team members, allowing us to create better interviewing experiences.

**What do you dislike about candidate.fyi?**

I think the manual labor of adding each individual employee to Candidate.fyi along with their LinkedIn profile and photo – it'd be nice if Candidate.fyi could auto-syn a spreadsheet or integrated with TriNet or something of the sort. But that's generally not a big issue, just a bit tedious.

There are a lot of things to list but I'll just pick a few. As a company, we've been able to provide a lot of useful information to candidates as they go through our interview process without having to inundate them with long emails as we move through the process. We're able to collect real-time data and information from candidates in order to make strategic decisions about the interview process. Most importantly, candidates love it. I feel like candidate.fyi gives us a competitive advantage in our hiring process.

Nothing at the moment. Every piece of feedback we've provided has been heard by the candidate.fyi team and they have worked on improving the platform daily.

Candidate.fyi is trying to make the overall candidate experience more transparent. Their platform is easy to use for candidates. It gives them a high-level overview of the process and the opportunity to give the hiring team real-time feedback. It's so easy to set up and use, and candidates tell us unsolicited how valuable it isn't other, and how surprised they are to have experienced something like this before.

It doesn't have every feature if like, but I know the team is working fast and hard to make constant updates based on user and customer feedback. The roadmap is exciting and I can't wait to get all the bells and whistles they have told us about.

It's an easy way for candidates to access everything they need in a single place for their interview.
It provides an instant and in the moment/just in time way to provide candidates with meaningful content at different stages of their recruiting process.

There are so many benefits to providing a candidate platform. Still, my absolute favorite thing (as a talent leader) is the data candidate.fyi gives my team on candidates' intent and experience. Are they logging in? Are they engaged? How are they feeling about the process so far? It's INCREDIBLE and has helped us differentiate between high-intent and medium-intent candidates before going to offer.

**What do you dislike about candidate.fyi?**

I've had some feedback for the team on ux/ui and sorting capabilities that they took in stride and managed to implement quickly. They are very committed to their customers and evolving fast.

**What problems is candidate.fyi solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're a small start-up with a lengthy interview process, so candidate.fyi allows us to provide cliff notes to candidates on what to expect when they meet our team. It's been great for early career talent in particular- as we feel it helps with the nerves of interviewing with senior executives. It's also wonderful because the interview times sync directly with our ATS, so candidates have multiple "checkpoints" to reference for their interview times and dates.

Our ability to track real-time data regarding our candidates' experience after every conversation. We are able to use this to ensure with every conversation candidates are being treated with the utmost kindness and respect while learning more about our company and team.

From the moment, a candidate is invited to a recruiter screen they can see the interview process outlined. From there, they can decide if they are comfortable completing these steps. 

Meanwhile, at the end of the interview process, I can track how a candidate perceived our interview - did they enjoy talking to me? Was I welcoming? Did I overwhelm them with questions and did I answer all their questions? They no longer have to wait for the final step of the process to deliver feedback.

Candidate.fyi brings a whole new level of transparency to the recruitment process for candidates and our internal team. The customizable and easy-to-navigate setup lets us personalize the content for each stage and job, giving candidates relevant information at their fingertips. Recruiters can now spend more time focusing on evaluating the candidate's background and less time walking through details like what to expect next, what to wear, how to get to the office, who they'll be meeting with, etc. Also, the pulse surveys and insights give my internal team a more precise view of how they are performing and motivates them to provide the best experience.

I'm excited to see how the insights and data develop within the platform.
