**What do you like best about EMP Trust HR?**

I appreciate how EMP Trust HR has significantly expedited our onboarding process and allows candidates to complete tasks efficiently from any device anywhere. I love that EMP Trust allows us to customize workflows to meet our organization's unique requirements. The addition of Spanish packets and instructions has been great in reducing the support our team needs to provide. I really like how the team is always willing to assist with any needs we may have, making them feel like an extension of our team and true partners.

**What do you dislike about EMP Trust HR?**

We would ideally want an option to resend forms in bulk, have access to archive or delete a duplicate without needing support, and ability to reach support after hours for any urgent matters.

**What problems is EMP Trust HR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

EMP Trust HR speeds up our onboarding and lets candidates complete tasks efficiently from any device. It allows us to customize workflows, reducing team support needs with Spanish instructions and the team's support feels like an extension of our own.

The team at EMP Trust is really responsive and willing to support a wide range of projects.  It is easy to connect with the team to make system updates or get support when a new hire is experiencing issues. The team has been actively supporting us in a large integration and has been extremely reliable throughout the project.

For our matrixed environment we need a lot of custom options and it takes time to add those.

**What problems is EMP Trust HR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

EMP Trust serves as our primary onboarding tool. With this application, we can send onboarding paperwork to all new hires directly through our ATS. Once onboarding is finished, we also utilize the I9 and E-verify features. This setup enables HR to keep all new hire information centralized in one place.

The down side is that sometimes user encounter issues login back in if they have to complete a task a after 14 days of the hire date.

We recently have implemented a training module to automate our hourly performance evaluations. The automation of these evaluations will save HR team time to focus on people!

The Customer Support and Development Team have been great to work with.  The pro here is that you get the individualized help and a good response time.  The ATS itself has all the basic needs that a company would need to get started.There is some room for cool customizations.

The ATS feels like it was not made with a recruiting lens in mind, missing out on some features that would streamline/enhance the user experience.

To start tracking data of candidates and metrics, we neeeded an ATS to start moving applicants from paper to digital.  This will assist us in talent forecasting.

We like EmpTrust as an e- I-9 & E-verify solution. Everything is very customizeable. The best part is their remote agent functionality. Our account reps and their customer support teams are always quick to respond when we need something, and pricing is fair.

**What do you dislike about EMP Trust HR?**

Admin system could be built out in a more user-friendly self-service UI. Things aren't always the most clear. The system settings and all email communication templated needed to be completed revamed / updated at time of implementation - EmpTrust should focus on getting things more ready to use right-out-of-the-box.

From the admin side EMP is easy to use, but for our new hires we have to walk them through the portal and process -- I-9 can be confusing for new employees.

**What problems is EMP Trust HR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It is far more organized (and compliant) to onboard new employees through EMP.  EMP's I-9 portal allows us to hire remote agents more easily.

Once new hires receive the link, they are able to complete their I-9 and upload documents using their phone. Having the documents done on the back end, saves so much time on the HR side, when completing section 2.

**What do you dislike about EMP Trust HR?**

If an employee has not completed section 1 on their start date, the only option to complete it, is through the email link. Would like to have an option where we can give them control of their I-9, and they can complete it from our desk tops, to process quicker.

It automatically flags inconsistencies with information that could have been entered incorrectly by either employee or HR rep. Great report features.

It easily helps combine the process for three different locations.  It has helped to establish protocol and makes Spanish hiring easier.  The best part of the software is the support.  It has been awesome from purchase to now.

The workflow is not always intuitive, so it needs to be established and trained.

I like that we are able to everify candidates, update section 3, and not be the section 2 agent. It allows us to spend less time on the I9 process.

There isn't a lot I disliked about working with EmpTrust. I want to be able to make more formatting changes to templates and documents.

Our end-users really like EMPTrust. For them, it is a fairly smooth experience.

**What do you dislike about EMP Trust HR?**

Our HR Admins are very frustrated with EMPTrust's backend user interface. The navigation of the backend is not intuitive, and behavior is inconsistent. It is always a guessing game of how to find a feature to edit. It feels like different teams or programmers created different sections of the backend UI and then it was all hobbled together, with some parts looking and behaving differently than others. There are no hover tips to explain what checking a checkbox will do.

**What problems is EMP Trust HR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

EMPTrust allows us to have new hires complete all their forms online.

Minimal time to start an employee which has sped up our process, and the onboarding system is fairly easy to track if you have your pages set up correctly. It can be a little difficult to see what the setup should be at first so try different things.

**What do you dislike about EMP Trust HR?**

The tech has hang-ups are the biggest issue with our portal. We also still haven't locked in a process that works for everyone at the company and it has been difficult to get the final touches finished.

**Recommendations to others considering EMP Trust HR:**

The test environment is not exactly like what you will get. The number of needed clicks increased.

**What problems is EMP Trust HR solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The cost is great and the process seems to be pretty intuitive for the employees in comparison with some other companies we have used. The integration with ESR needed some work, but they even rolled out an update to meet our needs.

When you have a chalenenging I-9 question or situation you can call their customer service and get immediate expert help. No waiting on hold or being transferred to foreign call centers like a lot of other I-9 providers.

There are a few things with the platform that isn't intuitive and you have to be taught to use them properly.

Whenever I stress about a feature or a function, it's not necessary.  Today, I called, thinking we would need to wait for a custom, and you all thought of it. There were buttons to turn on and off so the system would function the way we needed.

**What do you dislike about EMP Trust HR?**

I can't think of anything I dislike. The system is user-friendly, and I don't find things buried as they are in some systems.

We use Applicant Tracking, I9, and E-verify, and it allows us to give permissions to different users.

**What do you like best about EMP Trust HR?**

I liked EMP Trust's ability to move paperwork online, and the support offered throughout the process. Our rep was there for every stage of the implementation to offer support and guidance, they were able to make customizations there it was appropriate. After launch they helped us work through the smaller details of the system and random issues that popped up.

**What do you dislike about EMP Trust HR?**

I don't have any serious dislikes. We worked through all roadblocks and issues with our account rep.

I like the easiness of being able to send new employees electronic paperwork. The system ensures that all paperwork is filled out correctly and saves time that I would typically have to use following up with someone for the correct information. My account manager has also been very good with responding to me with any questions. She did a great job in coaching me throught the implementation phase of the platform.

It can be a little complicated when it comes to adding new paperwork to a new hire package. Perhaps a more streamlined version of this would be helpful. No other downsides noted.

Before I started using EMP Trust HR, all new hire paperwork was submitted via pdf to new hires. They filled out these forms and submitted them back to me, often times riddled with errors and mistakes. I would spend a lot of time having to follow up with these employees. With EMP Trust HR, I have not had to worry about these issues as the system will require the employee to fill out all required documents correctly.

EMP Trust has proven to be a large value add for our company. The value is incredible. Replacing a distributed workforce's onboarding solution is no small task and they helped us the whole way. To say we were "picky" would have been an understatement. They helped us integrate all our current vendors together and continue to help us connect and move our data. We never have to update tax forms anymore, it's just done for us, automatically which is a huge timesaver when you work in a bunch of states.

Occasional communication issues occur but are usually because of our team not properly defining what we are after and why.

I recommend giving this software platform a shot. It's the best value in the industry. There aren't many companies that will work so hard to help you build the onboarding process that YOU want. They spent an untold number of hours customizing and tweaking to make it what it is today.

Onboarding a large, distributed workforce with high turnover is hard. EMP helps us do that and handles all the tax form updates, WOTC, background checks, e-verify, and i-9 verification. Without this system, we'd be doing each of these pieces by paper, like we were before.

I love that we were able to integrate this solution with our current ATS. It also has a great reporting capability, which is a great improvement from our previous solution. The support team is also very easily accessible and provides great service to our new hires.

The EMptrust Portal could be more seamless. It can take a bit to get used to navigating back and forth. You also have to be on the right page in order to perform an action on a new hire's record. I like the various options available such as using the N3 notary or PAN or self assigned. This allows us to pick the option based on the location of the new hire. With COVID it has really worked out well as notaries were closed or new hires were the comfortable meeting with them.

The most imminent problem was hiring a workforce remotely and adhering to tactile examination of employee documents. The options we had were to partner with notary organizations but we hire all over the country and sometimes the logistics of that didn’t work for our new hires. I find value in making sure all fields are completed. I also appreciate the edit function as quite a few of our new hires need to edit their information.

The ease of use is what I like best. The modules are fairly self-explanatory and allow us to complete the onboarding process on multiple employees' paperwork at one time. It's a time saver and has improved efficiency for the onboarding process.

The pitfall is in creating forms that have a lot of fillable fields or questions. It takes quite a bit of time and requires a lot of patience to set up and making sure that the aesthetics are correct as you complete the setup process. It can be a tedious task that also needs multiple sets of eyes for quality assurance.

Give it a try! It's a great system and proves to be beneficial when trying to conduct a mass hiring event for your company. This will improve your HR hiring process and the level of service that new hires receive. Ease of use and how easy it was to add custom pages, policy notices and sign off.  The electronic i-9 and e-verify with support for remote hires is a big plus. We also like the integration to our payroll provider ADP so we do not have to re-key information and the remote hire options. The onboarding portal is a great addition to making our new hires understand our culture and tasks to complete during this pandemic.

The customer service team including Liz, Sarah and Philip has been great to work with and always very helpful.
